Beds were SO comfy! Excellent location!

Basic, bland, will never stay there again.

Room was nice, couldn’t keep it heated though. Always blew cold air from the vents. Bathroom seemed old and suuuuuper basic for a new hotel. Woke up by construction at like 6 or 7 am. Won’t stay again.

My television did not work throughout my stay. A staff person did fix it the first day however when I turned it off and on again it did not work it was pointless getting staff up again. It was fixed properly the first time.

Hotel is excellent. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Staff are the most friendly. In the past we have used the valet parking which was great. This stay we opted out of this option, however the only option for parking presented to us was some “on street parking” which was limited to just a couple of spaces in front of the hotel which was certainly not ideal for security purposes.

A clean and comfortable hotel with beautiful decor! Great location and walking distance to downtown shops, food, and pubs! I'll definitely stay again!

The hotel is clean and the room is spacious enough for 2 people. The people make this place an enjoyable place to stay. The rates are really good during winter months but can be expensive in the summer. Prices in the restaurant are a little expensive. If you like to listen to rock classics, this is a great hotel. Music plays in the hallways, elevators and restaurant. If you prefer to eat or enjoy a drink in the quiet, it’s not for you.

It was great but waiting so long for the system to reboot to get our room keys was not convenient. We did arrive early however this was the first time we couldn’t check in early. It was still inconvenient.

Very clean room and a great restaurant

Arrived at the property after being delayed by a Santa parade which was fine but on check in was given a room with no view other than a roof even though I booked a month ago. Was also told no parking as valet was full and they only have a limited no of spots so park on the road at your own risk.

The Jag is my favourite hotel in St Johns. Been here many many many times. I will say that the room we stayed in recently was very dark. Just 2 lights in either side of the bed. No lamps. That’s my only complaint. A corner lamp would have made a big difference.

The hotels’ overall aesthetic was pretty cool, with a lot of neat artwork and furniture. Comfortable, clean rooms, and the housekeeper even brought around complimentary chocolate bars to each room (that was a lovely gesture). Perfect location right downtown, and they offer valet parking which was super convenient! Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Will stay here again when I am back in St Johns.

Management refused to assist whatsoever in travel issues that arose, paid for a night that we couldn't use, will not be staying here in the future. Front desk staff, valet attendants and cleaning staff all perfect and friendly.

It exceeded my expectations. It’s just so beautiful and roomy. Felt right at home ☺️

Unique hotel with classic rock and country music playing in the lobby, elevators and dining area. Modern but some of the furniture is starting to show some wear and tear.

Very cool boutique hotel! Great value and super helpful and friendly staff. Rooms were nice and the housekeeping staff leave really kind little messages with chocolate every night : ) Would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in beautiful St. John's Newfoundland!
