Very close to the airport and a mall. Taxi to airport was less than p100. The mall has a jollibee and McDonald's. On the main road from bridge 2. The least expensive room was very small. It was clean, slow to no hot water. CR had TP which is a big plus. Friendly staff.

Low Standard Hotel with Dishonest Managment January 2024 I have traveled across the Globe for leisure, vacation, diving trips. I never felt so taken advantage of by an hotel management. I made my reservation with Expedia as a VIP. To begin, there is no hot water, the room was dirty, Wifi almost non existent. I choose the run down 2 stars hotel because of it's proximity to the Cebu International airport. To ruin my last 2 days of a wonderful vacation, the hotel policy has, a surcharge of 1500 pesos for any large stains on bed sheets. At the time of check in, the front desk clerk mentioned that there were stains on the bed sheets. When asked for the proof, the employee took 5 min to show me, 2 small blood stains smaller than a penny on the bed sheet. The day hotel rate in this low standard hotel is 1100 pesos per night. I was due to pay more than the daily rate of a room to wash a bed sheet. Is the Managment wishes to steal the money of hard working peoples, just do it, don't try to find a loophole to justify it. I will never come back to this low standard hotel with questionable and dishonest people. I love the Phillipines and its peoples but I am going to make sure that dishonest people are brought light.Happy 2024 year to anyone!

The hotel is in the middle of a busy shopping and dining area. The hotel itself was quiet. It is also close to the airport.

If you like hostel accommodation but with walls around your bed and a personal bathroom then its ok. The bed was rock hard and the shower had no hot water in the evenings and barely a dribble of pressure. Wifi almost never worked. Was genuinely quite terrible but the staff were as friendly as anywhere in the Philippines

The room is in very good condition for the price per night. Island Stays Hotel has been a part of a lot of wonderful memories.

Very close to Cebu Airport

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. That was a wonderful reception when we arrived at 1:30am after a long day of travel (and hours later than anticipated). The rooms are very basic but great value so close to the airport and with great food and beverage options nearby.

It was a terrible stay. No complimentary water, no water glasses, the other bed seems to fall and there are cockroaches on the floor.

Needs updating the plumbing and better sound for tv - tv was all the way up and volume was still too low

Location was the only good thing about this hotel. Management did not seem to have any effort to maintain the hotel. Dusty and smelly room, outlet wall have holes, light flickering seems like we're in a horror movie, bathroom mirror rusty and broken, beddings have stains, dirty exterior(outside of our room)Husband saw a cat-size rat just outside our room.

Convenient but needs improvement

I picked this hotel because it has airport transfer but they did not specify that it’s an additional service and you need to pay for it. So i ended up paying for our airport transfer. The hotel could use some renovation.

Its close to the island central mall, also close to Mactan airport. There is mo wifi in rooms only in lobby . Also there is no dead bolt lock on doors

Need lots of improvement, services staff and amenities

Hot and cold shower pressure and temperature were not consistent. Staffs were helpful and courteous. Overall, it was an okay stay.

Badly maintained. Saw lizards all over the place. Needs repainting as looks worn out. Felt like it was a motel. Won’t stay there again.

Stayed for 3 days. Room is not clean, and not well maintained. There was no WiFi, very empty room, water pressure in bathroom was very low. Bathroom also smelled like sewage at times. Didn’t feel very secure since the main door only had a bedroom like lock. Over all just a poor basic room. Would not recommend.

Good stay

Good for the cost. Location good, close to mall (about 30 meters) about 15 minutes to Mactan airport in heavy traffic. Lots of restaurants in area and cabs available 24x7. Basic room, foam pad mattress, clean but could use painting and touch up. A.C. works, hot water in shower, good lighting, very cordial and helpful staff. Would stay again.

Hotel is close to the airport. Room is okay and a bit sparse. Suitable for an overnight stay prior to flights to different locations in the Philippines

Sewage smell and mold everything

Very disappointed with this place.... it seem like they slapped pretty paint on the walls and took a great picture but unfortunately the room smelled like sewage and the bathroom was covered in mold. We booked for 3 days and barely lasted 1 night. We ended up checking out the next day. My mom address the issue at the front desk but they seem to not care... you would think they would try to move us to another room.

No Frills stay near the Airport

Island Stays is a no frills hotel very close to Mactan Cebu Airport. It is great if you have an early morning departure or late night arrival. It's less than 10 min from the terminal. Our room was relatively quiet and clean. The overall property is quite old and is undergoing a much needed renovation. Still, the staff was very friendly and the room was functional. Each room has it's own water heater ehich was very welcome after a long trip. Of notable interest, the property is really a motel style facility with each room having a door going to the outside. It's in a compound with room for perhaps parking for 15. For it's purpose, it's a very comfortable.

Family Stay at Island Stays

This place was so close to everything we wanted. Very convenient. The staff were very friendly and professional. It was very quiet and peaceful.

Good value and close to the airport.

We stayed 3 different times over a one month period. All rooms were pretty much the same. It's a low budget hotel that I think is good value. First the bad: This seems like a pretty old hotel and could definitely do with some upgrades - a new coat of paint here and there, etc. The TV was far too small for the room size although it had a decent array of channels. The shower heater was adequate but the shower head was abysmal. There was more water coming out the hose and sides of the shower head than the shower head itself. This was the same in all three room we stayed in. Now the good: The rooms were fairly large and clean. The air conditioning was good and fairly quiet. The beds were comfortable. The staff were great and the location is especially good for short layovers. Check-in and out were both very easy. Overall, were were pleased with the rooms and would recommend this hotel.

Hotel near airport

The staff is so nice and accommodating, but the room smells so bad seems that drainage is open and the smell penetrating the room. I did not bring a toothbrush coz I was expecting a toothbrush in the hotel but there’s none. Also there’s no glass or deeper to use.

They are in desperate need of a water tank. Water pressure is ridiculously low.

Perfect location. Walking distance to a mall and a few minute drive to the airport. Perfect hotel for travellers not from cebu with morning flights the next day.

Not well maintained

Location is situated near Mactan Airport, it's ok to stay if you have an early flight as it is only 3-5 minutes away from the airport. Cleanliness is 2 out of 5, as per my friend the bedsheets have stains, the linens were not ironed. She even told us that maybe they did not change the sheets, pillow cases, blanket. There's a television with cable and telephone but it is not working.

Good stay because near the airport

The stay was good. I arrived around 12mn and the stay was more of sleep and go. The room was clean but not so comfortable. My room was beside the street so the noise of horns was not good. Although the stay was good but I would not really recommend it. The only advantage is it is near the airport.

Island Stays was good enough for one night but I would not recommend it for longer than that. The place was clean but the air conditioning unit was mounted on the wall above the second bed and the condensate was falling right on it all night long (good thing there was another bed).

Cheap hotel next to the airport.

This is a no frills hotel perfect for staying at the night before a flight. While the facilities aren't great, it's worth the 35 USD per night just to not have to fight Cebu traffic the night before a flight!

Clean for the Philippines, close to the airport and a nearby mall. Fine budget place to stay before flying out of Cebu.

The roon is well lit, a/c is cold, clean restroom. Its a hotel that is convinient to hotel if you have the next day fly out.

My family and friends, traveling together, had to checkout from another hotel around noon but our flight wasn't until midnight. We just wanted a place to leave all our luggage, wash up before our flight and be very very closed to the airport knowing how terrible traffic is. The rate was very very reasonable and I didn't expect it to be a 5-star hotel, that said, it hit all our needs. It was clean, especially the restroom. The location was perfect. Not only was it very near the airport it had a small shopping center closed by. My only negative comment is renovation was going on next door. It was noisy and the room almost had almost no wifi. The lobby was shabby and in need of sprucing up.

Nice location, close to the airport

Room is clean and odor free! Staff are very helpful. Only downside is that they advertise Wi Fi connection in rooms. I can see the connection but really there's no internet connection and when I phoned front desk they said that connection is good at the lobby only close to the front desk.
