Won’t be back

The room was on the second floor. This place does not have an elevator so you’re lugging all of your things upstairs along with 2 pets. The room had an awful odor; don’t know if it’s some type of spray used especially for rooms used for people traveling with pets or something used in all rooms. Definitely a very unpleasant smell. The room was somewhat clean; gave the impression that it was just wiped down. The furnishings were very outdated and worn. The mattress on the bed was very hard which made for a very uncomfortable and restless sleep. Needless to say I won’t be back.

Although this was an older hotel, it was remodeled nicely and super clean and friendly staff. Located near the harbor and walking distance to shops and London bridge. We would return. Breakfast was pastry and coffee, so I wouldnt advertise it as breakfast. Kitchenette in room was fabulous.

It was close to the bridge. The property definitely shows its age but is well looked after & the staff was very friendly. The ADA room was very well set up except the bed was way to low.

Very nice hotel . We spent only night on our way to Grand Canyon but it was very nice and quiet. The breakfast is standard, but no need for much more.

All good except the key card need to replace at least once a day, not convenient.

Close to a busy street, so noise until around at least 10pm then gets quieter. Friendly staff and clean room, even has a small kitchen. Small TV rotates from living room to bedroom.

Close to everything. Staff was super nice and recommended some good restaurants. We swam in the clean warm pool. Perfect after a day of exploring.

It's OK

I would stay again for the cost effectiveness. Bed was very uncomfortable. Pull out couch and chair were dirty. Had to ask for extra sheets to cover. Had to clean floor. Feet were black walking around. Check-in took forever as front desk talked a lot with people about personal life. Dog areas were not picked up and someone even let their dog poop in parking lot. Breakfast pancakes were good. Everything else, old/stale. Juice was watered down. Syrup wasnt real maple, high fructose corn syrup. Hallway was not clean and all floors need cleaning.

We can work it out

There was an issue with our animal. They were up front about it and reasonable. They let us continue with our stay and just were clear that they may keep the deposit if extra cleaning was required. Our dog is stinky because he has a skin issue that is very difficult to treat. I thought they were more than fair in accommodating our needs. Family run place where they do their best to make your stay comfortable and easy. Makes them a easy choice over some of the fancier less personable options. On top of that it's a good value.

The property was recently renovated. Staff was every friendly and free breakfast was good.

Nice staff, safe area & clean room

The property and the people were good! The issue that destroys the whole holiday is when you use a Canadian credit card to reserve the room and pick the option to pay upon arrival but yet the hotel charges your Canadian credit card before your arrival date and you get stuck paying a 1.44 exchange rate! Their attitude to correct the issue was nonexistent! Unfortunately, that will prevent us from ever staying at this hotel again.

Great stay at a great price!

This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. From the beginning with all of the staff we interacted with who were so kind, to the room and the accommodations in it... We enjoyed it. The pool and hot tub are warm even in the winter time. The Continental breakfast was good (pancake maker, cereal, bread items, oatmeal, oranges, yogurt, muffins, boiled eggs, coffee, cranberry and orange juice. Our room had a microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans, a little electric warmer, mini Keurig, plates and silverware, and cups. Bathroom has a hair dryer as well. Grab towels for the pool at the front desk. The TV was a little small, but that's okay because we didn't stay in Havasu in the room to watch TV. Would most definitely stay again. If you're looking for a great church to visit, Hilltop community Church is outstanding. (We visited there this past Sunday)

Clean, spacious room. Plenty of parking. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Excellent location. These are just a few of the reasons that I would travel to Lake Havasu just to stay here again.

Quiet and clean

I appreciated the friendly, attentive and professional staff. I liked the well stocked kitchenette which was a pleasant surprise and was very useful. The room and beds were very clean. The hotel is conveniently located near many places that were of interest to us such as restaurants, grocery stores, the London and bridge and the lake.

The property itself was very good. we ticked the box that said “payment at hotel”. We used our Canadian credit card to hold the room and we were going to pay with our US account credit card when we arrived b” .Unfortunately the hotel did not follow what Expedia had told us in writing it would do and it charged us before we even got there therefore we had to pay $1.43 Per Dollar for our room. This is completely unacceptable. When Expedia stated we would be charged when we arrived at the hotel not at 6 o’clock in the morning of the day of the arrival. This is unacceptable. And the front desk was no help whatsoever. I would like Expedia to contact me with my disappointment in the actions of this hotel. Otherwise, the place itself was very good. No complaints.

I've stayed here for many years on my business trips to Havasu. This is the first time that the room has not been great. The flooring in the kitchen area is buckling from what appears to be water damage. The cable/direct TV in my room did not work. I attempted to get it to work myself thinking the cables were just loose but that didn't work. I checked in late so I didn't go down and see if someone could come fix the TV and I didn't want to switch rooms if they couldn't because I was exhausted. Don't know if I will stay here the next time I come in two weeks.

The shower had weak water flow from the shower head due to a faulty diverter and there weren't enough clothes hangers. Otherwise, good location and property layout.

I love this place, we have stayed here twice and probably will again. The options of the bigger rooms are a huge bonus. Breakfast is fresh and good variety. Only downside is the front desk lady was a little rude to us both times we were there. Next time I won't forget anything or ask for extra bedding. I'll bring my own

Canceled hotel and charged anyway.

I didn’t stay with you and canceled 24 hours ahead as I was instructed I could. You charged my card without my permission.

Well.. this was a $60 hotel for $95. It was clean but so shabby. A dog has obviously chewed the corners of the upholstered coffee tabe. Wall colors so drab and dark. The bed was like sleeping on concrete but it was very clean. The sofa seat tilts toward the ground..impossible to sit on but its ok because the tv is SO TINY you need binnoclars to see it from the couch anyway. This place is a dive..like maybe where you stay right after you get out of prison. Hard pass.

Room had multiple issues. Refrigerator makes loud vibration that was non stop. Light in the bedroom ceiling did not work. Phone in the room did not work. When went down to front desk to report issues there was no solution offered. I was told to put a towl between the door and the freezer which didn't solve the problem. The light issue was addressed by suggesting to use the nightstand lamps or living room light. And the phone would need a maintenance ticket. None of the issues were solved. Very limited parking. Not at all a continental breakfast. Choices were dry cereal, milk, muffins, toast, milk, juice, and coffee. No hot items. No fruit.

Perfect place to stay

We pretty much only slept there but the room was clean and in good condition and very comfortable. Beth (the night host) was personable and sweet and truly a delight to talk to. I’d come back just to chat with her again.

Hotel charged me for 3 nights when I only stayed for 2 ! Trying to get this corrected but not getting any response from the hotel ! Rooms are dated and furniture is pretty rough and old . Hide a bed couch was very uncomfortable to sit on as you sank . Coffee table / ottoman was shredded on the corners . Other than that the rooms were fine

Very large room, w/full and useful kitchenette. Very clean room and common areas. Great bed. Advertisement photo shows four lounge chairs, but there are only two at the pool. And, they look like they were in World War II. A beer bottle cap was on the pool deck for days. Tables in the pool area were dirty. Breakfast was quite minimal with very limited seating. Friendly and helpful staff.

Room had a unique lay out and a lot more

The lay-out of the room was very different and spacious. A wall dividing the sleeping area and the other area serving as a lounge and dining area. There was a wet-bar, mini-frig with a freezer compartment, cabinets above and under with a hot plate, pans, and silver ware in the drawers. In addition, a microwave. Extremely well furnished. An opening in the center of the wall allowed for a flat screen TV to swivel for both areas. The breakfast furnished is not much, continental style, but OK.

We stay here several times a year, and its always nice. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. If hauling a boat, the later it gets, boat parking becomes very limited...

This hotel is more than satisfactory for the price point. Clean, large rooms, kitchenette with adequate utensils, comfortable bed and adequate wifi. Not a luxury hotel but perfectly adequate.
