Good clean motel

When you book a low cost room in a country town there are few expectations, however from the first moment the experience was first class. The staff were friendly and down to earth, and the check-in was an absolute breeze. The room was clean, the bathroom spotless (great water pressure and HOT shower) and the bed was comfortable. As the staff/owners move about the was always a smile for guests and an acknowledgment from them and all the way through to check-out the whole experience was well above my expectations. The property is right on the exit from the bypass at the south end (watch the entry, it is a little tricky). - supermarket and other shops are less than 2 minutes drive. Making it very convenient. If you are visiting Scone and intend to stay overnight or longer, this IS the place to stay. Thanks so much, I’ll be back soon :) ,

Great experience

Had an amazing time, great room, very clean, great water pressure and hot water, spent majority of my time in the pool yard. Unfortunately the wood fired pizzas weren’t on which is one of the reasons we chose the isis. However was still a great stay and will be back once the wood fired pizzas are back on

Was running later then anticipated, contacted reception and they even had our dinner ready to go in the oven when we arrived. Very quiet and nice room. Parked right outside the door of the room. Easy place to find. Would definitely stay again.

Family run motel

Always a favourite stay over the years. Family run and friendly with a seating area around the pool and a pizza oven which the owners run for guest orders.

The slightly larger room we asked for and paid for was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the roomy shower excellent with plenty of hot water flowing. They made a wood fired Pizza that was tasty and there was no road noise. Parking spaces were plentiful. Bearing in mind this is a budget motel, we considered it value for money in providing a good night's sleep. Would recommend, particularly the larger rooms.

Easy check in and out. Easy walk into Scone. Has a great room heater (for those winter mornings). Stayed one night - no complaints.

Quiet close to CBD close to facilities

Great price with an option to get wood fired pizza made. The bathroom was old and tired. Overall the room needed a good clean with cobwebs.

Convenient location however mattress and bathroom could do with a makeover - friendly staff and quiet location are best attributes

The owners were really flexible with my changing arrival time, told me about what was likely to be open in town (it was a public holiday). The rooms are really cool, they're modern and updated but have a bit of a retro edge if that makes sense. I didn't get the chance to try the wood fired pizza but definitely will on my next stay. Excellent value as well.

A lovely stay in an unassuming motel. Very comfortable beds, a great shower, a fun pool and nice staff. Would definitely stay again.

great value accomodation in the upper Hunter area

We got to have a good night's sleep before heading off to Armidale. It was quiet and clean. Close to Scone RSL which had delicious meals. Would stay there again.

Toilet and shower too close to each other. My husband uses a toilet chair and was unable to fit it in the space.

This is the third time I’ve stayed at the Isis in as many years. The first time was good enough for me to choose it again the next time I was in Scone. The second time was disappointing, just a very ordinary experience. I decided to give them another chance and I hit the jackpot! Room 11a is terrific. Spacious, quiet, every facility one could reasonably ask for. I don’t know what went wrong the second time; maybe some rooms are better than others for the same price, but they have redeemed themselves and all without me making an issue of my previous experience.

We enjoyed our stay at the Isis Motel. Room was big enough to accommodate our family of 5.

Easy access from the road when arriving to Scone. Close proximity to all Horse Festival Venues. Very nice reception people and service.

Clean, you can have room service every day, free use of laundry facilities plus washing powder. Does need a non slip mat in bathroom when exiting shower.

Heating and electric blankets fantastic in the cold.

Friendly welcome, friendly staff and clean room, all extras needed, iron etc were in the room. No complaints here.

we always stay here if we can because it's a family run good country motel with a pool and pizzas to order as well as breakfast available delivered to your room. plus there is fresh milk to put in the fridge with biscuits to have with your tea/coffee.

About what you would expect for the price. The room was small but everything worked including the electric blankets on a 1C night.

We stopped in a family room which was very spacious but the shower needs a bit love and care, as there was cracked tiles and water damage around the skirting boards. But over all it is a great place to stay

I’d stayed here once before and wrote a very positive review…either I had a better room last time or was feeling particularly generous. This time, I found the room was very small and basic, totally no frills. Everything worked as it should, but there was nothing to make it stand out from any other place. Sorry I can’t be more positive.

Goof for a quick overnighter

The motel is located towards the outer limits of town, but still within relative easy walking distance with a nearby hotel that had excellent food. Check in was very efficient & the room was quite comfortable. As this was a quick overnight stop we were just looking for somewhere to put our heads down & freshen up. The bed was pretty comfortable, but the bathroom was quite small with a small shower & the toilet was so close to the shower I practically had to side saddle so that I could fit my feet between the toilet & shower cubicle. The hot water though was almost instant & somewhat made up for the lack of shower space.

The room was very small... but ok for price & just the one nights stay.

Peaceful motel located conveniently close to the New England Highway.

The property was so clean! Loved the towels and little shampoos and conditioners. We at the back room 11A and it was quiet and great county hospitality. The room was simple and well set out with a big table. The beds were comfortable and good pillows. The shower had great water pressure and nice and hot. We will definitely go back. My kids gave it the thumbs up. Close to the Thoroughbred Hotel for dinner.,

The pictured on the website is not the room we booked and paid for. The greeting was not friendly upon check in and check out.

On site pizza was great

It was fine. Nothing special, but nothing to complain about. My only suggestions, to all motel owners, PLEASE install some kind of shelf in the shower, or, at least, a shower caddy. A soap dish doesn’t cut it. Also, some of the lightbulbs in the bathroom needed to be replaced, a minor maintenance issue. Everything else worked well. It was quiet and comfortable, with fast wifi.

We have stayed here so many times over the years, too many to count and its always clean, comfortable,affordable and with friendly owners you can ask anything of... always happy to help.

The motel was clean and tidy, easy to get to, and the reception staff was lovely and helpful.

Lovely clean motel. We had nice big room with Comfy beds. Parking in front of room and very quiet even though Motel was full. Our place to stay when travelling North.

Well the shower was like a tap faucet with no spray, the room has the smell of too much air freshener,

The property is old and felt yukky. I didn’t feel like showering there.

Was a bit weary of the motel name, but turned out to be a great stay. The motel room was fabulous. We had a full size square dinner table in our room which made everything so much easier. Comes with full size fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. We had a few swims in the pool and it was really well maintained. We ordered breakfast and had in our room, and it was fabulous. Would definitely stay again!

The staff were friendly, it was quiet no noisy neighbours just what you need for a relaxing holiday.
