Weekend trip
Lovely staff and great breakfast
Very easy access into the O2 via the link section. Sky bar had great views, service in all areas great. Breakfast quick and efficient service and food quality as expected
Great stay
Would recommend
Comfortable clean hotel. Great position on the Thames. Pleasant and helpful staff. We were there on an O2 concert day so there is somewhat of an issue with coping with large volumes of early dinners and breakfast in the restaurant. That said we would stay again in similar circumstances.
We loved this hotel. The views, the rooms, the link to the O2, staff couldn’t do enough for you. Breakfast was amazing. Beds so comfortable. Bath and shower, lovely bathroom.we will be back.
Outstanding
The hotel itself was lovely and perfect location for the 02 arena. However the mini bar in our room did not open and despite calling reception 4 times to ask about this, after them saying someone would come and look at it no one came. This is terrible customer service considering the price we paid for just one night. This needs to be taken on board for future guests as it was just like the staff could not be bothered to sort it out. My son really needed a drink and a snack but could not access it. Also the through this the hotel has lost out on making additional money from this so not good for business. Maybe further staff training is required for night staff.
Very close to the 02 venue perfect for Strictly Tour
I have stayed at this hotel many times (maybe 10?) and was travelling there on Jan 5th. A lorry smashed into my car on the motorway and I had to take my pregnant daughter to the hospital to make sure she was OK. The hotel refused to refund or even postpone my reservation. I also was going to stay last year but when I got in my room there were three men standing on a cradle repairing the cladding and hammering and drilling at the walls. They moved me to a new room which was just as noisy. I asked for a refund to leave which they agreed to but then argued for several weeks afterwards. I also find that once they realise you are a guest who always returns they give you a lower standard room. A real shame as I love staying here but don't see why I should be treated like this.
The hotel and staff are excellent nothing was too much trouble, and the spa was an added bonus, would stay here again.
Perfect place to stay when attending a concert at the O2!
Lovely place! Hotel staff are excellent!
Rooftop skybar advertised by hotel was closed on both nights of my 2 night stay. No shuttle from train station to hotel, unpleasant 10 min walk crossing the roads 3 times. Bathroom sink was clogged, 1 ceiling light was flickering and limited amenities. This was fixed after alerting the staff.
Great location for the O2.
This property was stunning, relaxing, convenient and very accommodating! Would definitely recommend and I will be back
I like the hospitality and the kind atmosphere the hotel provides.
Car parking access is not very efficient. Having to queue at reception each time you want to use your car is a bad customer experience
Wonderful and so well looked after
Can’t say enough good things about this hotel! The staff were very professional, friendly and kind, and they were so helpful to me when I became unexpectedly so sick. Would definitely stay here again (hopefully won’t be sick next time!).
So convenient.
Beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel with easy access to O2.
Great
Excellent position for attending the o2. Wonderful setvice at check-in
Great stay!
Thank you for a wonderful stay, everything from check in to check out was perfect. Your staff were so helpful and polite and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Room 1701 junior suite was beautiful and can be see on my instagram page @travelwith2littleones
Great Stay
Gorgeous room and lovely beds.
Lovely hotel
Amazing hotel with large rooms, professional courteous, friendly staff. A wonderful stay as usual.
I love staying at the intercontinental always best breakfast
Very rude front desk employee. In addition, we had a room with the construction as the terrace view from our window. Anytime we weee taking a shower or bath there was a very loud noise reminding hummer drill drilling into a concrete. I have recorded the noice. At first, we were notified that breakfast is until 11 am, the next day we received a notification that breakfast is until 9 am. The hotel employees commercialized guests a lot.
Hotel perfect & convenient, spa disappointing.
Hotel & service was great. The rooftop bar was closed and a shame that there was no signage until we went to it, the downstairs bar was nice though and good cocktails. Not particularly impressed with the spa. I arrived at the spa reception and the staff barely looked up from their computers. When I asked for slippers I was told I had to go back to my room and get them and they would be in the safe. I did this - no slippers, so when I came back, the lady unwillingly gave me flip flops, then questioned what was wrong with my current footwear (outdoor shoes). The pool was filled with screaming kids jumping and splashing, there were no chairs available as it was so busy, and the steam room and sauna’s were frequented by kids and loud talking guests, so not particularly relaxing. The spa was only a minor part and not what I stayed for, so this didn’t effect my happiness with the hotel itself so I would return again.
One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in around the world. Also super convenient to the concert we attended. Just a short walk and you’re in the arena. Will return!
really nice felt like i was on holiday
Pricey, but nice!
This hotel is pricey, mainly because it has a captive audience being situated right next to the O2, but having said that, it is a very nice hotel. Rooms are a decent size, comfortable clean and modern, with nice bathrooms and fantastic showers and the hotel has its own exit into the O2 which is very handy. Have always found the staff here very good.
Relaxation
Nice clean comfortable room.
Excellent location for O2 centre.
A fantastic hotel, which was quiet, comfortable and very welcoming. So convenient when attending a concert at the O2 too. Would highly recommend
Great
Great atmosphere
Loved my night at the 02.
Location
Love it!
Great place to stay.
Great hotel.
We found all the staff we came across to be friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the beds were lovely. Breakfast was also very tasty and lots of choice. It was great not to have to battle through public transport after a gig at the O2 and was back in our room within 10 minutes. It was on the pricey side for us but we would definitely treat ourselves and stay again if we went to O2 again.
So, so convenient for the O2. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else for O2 gigs.
Excellent stay definitely return
Great hotel, super comfortable rooms with first class facilities. Best breakfast ever!!
Exellent hotel in perfect location for O2-event visitors.
Expensive parking
Great stay for o2 event
Hotel was fabulous for an event at the o2. Beds were comfy, rooms were lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Staff were lovely and helpful too. The link to the o2 was a great perk!
Close to the 02, rooms excellent, breakfast was busy but fantastic choice and service
Stayed here for the O2. What a great hotel. Lovely room, excellent dinner & breakfast in the brasserie. Thoroughly enjoyed use of pool, wonderfully friendly & helpful staff. Can’t wait for next gig at the O2 to stay here.
.
Good for the O2
Good hotel, bit of a walk from the tube station on back street roads if entrance to 02 not open - would not feel safe in the dark walking to entrance along the street entrance. If you are going for a concert the connection to the 02 is really handy. Hotel itself is nice, staff friendly and rooms spacious and comfortable. One problem with the room was the plumbing when we used shower and neighbouring room did made a massive humming sound.
Decent hotel staff quite rude though
I’m always a little apprehensive when booking a hotel that I haven’t used before, but this hotel lived up to the previous ratings it had received, that I had read. We were visiting the O2 Arena to watch Peter Kay and was pleasantly surprised to find out there was direct connection from the hotel to the O2, so at the end of the show we were back in the hotel within 10 minutes, in the Sky bar, enjoying cocktails served by the excellent Jeel finishing the celebrations for my wife’s birthday. The Room service was excellent. On a whole I couldn’t fault any of the staff they were attentive a paid great attention to making sure your stay was as enjoyable as possible, thank you. There was one point that I didn’t like the chair we sat on to book in was too low and I felt uncomfortable, the hotel needs to find a chair with a higher seating position. To finish I would like to thank the management of the hotel and please pass on our thanks and best wishes to all the staff for making my wife’s birthday such a memorable occasion, well done to you all.
Excellent for the O2.
We chose the Intercontinental due to it's proximity to the O2 (note that it is closer to both the venue and the tube station than the advertised walking times suggest and there is a dedicated entrance to the O2) and that on its own justified the slightly higher than anticipated cost. It was only supposed to be a bed for the night but that very quickly escalated into drinks in the Clipper Bar (superb bar, excellent attentive staff, great views) and dinner in Kinaara (very good Indian food with the choice of a pre show set menu or a la carte). Our room was spacious, clean and the bed very comfortable (and surprising quiet overnight). All of the staff we interacted with were very polite and professional. Breakfast was incredibly busy (as you'd expect for such a venue the morning after an O2 event) but the place and staff are set up to deal with this and it went smoothly (and was tasty). We will definitely stay here again if going to the O2.
Comfortable and quiet room. Great location for the O2. Excellent service. Would stay again.
Very clean. Great to have the walkthrough to the O2.
Nice hotel, and the check in staff were excellent. Was told we got a free room upgrade, that I was entitled to with my gold Expedia status. The room we got was nothing special, in fact it was smaller than the room we had last year, without the so called free upgrade. There was also a smell in the room. As there was no windows you could open, it could just be a stuffy smell, but it could also have been strong BO, or some sort of food. The smell was constant and did not get any weaker during our brief stay. Breakfast was great.
Lady named Michalea amazing ! Needs a pay rise !
Arrived at reception to check in, woman was saying I hadn't paid for the second room reserved when I already had. She did not give any details about where anything was or breakfast times and it was our first time at the hotel. Already this had given me a bad impression. Entering the room the tv was not working nor the fridge door was opening. I had called for someone to come and fix it and they said someone will be up shortly, nobody had come. Had to try and sleep with the tv on all night as it would not switch off which made the room very bright and difficult to sleep. Disappointing for the price paid and the hotel known to be luxury.
Lovely hotel. Very modern and clean. Great staff. Good location. A fantastic stay which I really enjoyed. I shall return. Limited parling though.
I had booked this date by mistake, as I wanted a date two weeks earlier. I had to pay for that on arrival. I asked to cancel the mistaken date but was told since I have booked via Expedia I had to do it through Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they said they had to contact the hotel to request a refund. The hotel never even got back to them. What an attitude.
First, I would like to commend your dining services. The breakfast experience was outstanding, deserving full marks for both quality and presentation. Your staff, particularly the entrance greeters and waiting team, demonstrated exemplary service and professionalism. The food quality, presentation, and taste were all excellent. However, I must express my concerns regarding other aspects of our stay: Check-in Experience: We arrived at 14:45, shortly before the 15:00 check-in time. While we appreciate being offered a complimentary drink while waiting, our room was still unavailable more than 20 minutes past the official check-in time. This delay forced us to alter our plans, as we were unable to refresh ourselves before our evening commitments. We ultimately had to leave our luggage and return after 22:00 to access our room. Maintenance Issues: During our stay, we reported two maintenance issues to the reception desk (specifically to Renata): 1. The in-room safe was malfunctioning, displaying a "SER" error message and rendering it unusable 2. The toilet's flush mechanism was performing inadequately, requiring excessive time to complete its function Despite being assured of immediate attention to these issues, no repairs were completed during our entire stay, even after following up multiple times.
Hot room
The room was very hot and we turned the heating off but the room didn’t cool down! Could of done with aircon as there’s no windows to open either but amazing view of Canary Wharf
The queues at reception aren’t great but the hotel is great and it’s right next to the O2 which was perfect for us.
Ideally placed for the O2 just a walk through the back doors and you are there Had a lovely clean room overlooking the Thames and breskfast was lovely . If we go to the O2 we will definitely stay here again
It was great apart from the service at breakfast which was average as we had to request a hot drink as no servers came over and cutlery and milk had to be requested
Just perfect
Perfect location for a visit to the 02. Wonderful sky view bar and beautiful view from our bedroom. Super comfortable bed and wow, to the breakfast!
Queuing for the lifts because people want to go to Sky Bar and you don’t is annoying. Had to stand in a queue for 29 minutes just to get to floor 6.
Beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff and service. Next door to the o2 so perfect!
This was my second time here. Very nice and spacious rooms.
Certainly nothing to dislike, our stay here was just so convenient, being so close to the O2 with all the transport links and restaurants. We did enjoy our stay and was very impressed with the dining choices and the service overall.
Room was very comfortable, was the first time I'd stayed in such an upmarket hotel and I wasn't disappointed. Location was great as we stayed for an event at the excel and it was just across the river.
Excellent views of the Thames
3 room changes time was limited keys did nt work ended up with a family room with scaffold and workmen outside our window at 8.30 am .. all about the views and location this hotel .. 1st bleach smell so strong.. 2nd waste in bin and mirror had toothpaste .. I left all my make up and promised it would be sent … still waiting 5 weeks later and can’t get a response don’t stay here this service is appalling for the cost
Excellent stay from start to finish
Great hotel. Really friendly and helpful staff. Hotel room was really comfortable, clean and had all the amenities you could as for. Breakfast was excellent. Wide range of choice, and all good quality. The link to the O2 is amazing! Made it quick and easy to get to and from our concert. I just wish we'd got their earlier to be able to use the spa facilities!
Great location
Beautiful hotel located close to the o2. Fantastic cocktails too!
Lovely hotel. Brilliant location for the O2.
Wonderful hotel as always.
Poor!
They couldn’t find the room, they gave another room and the room had no view and the windows were obstructed by scaffolding
Overnight break
Hotel was great overall in a prime position and with great views. Service was good. Two things made it not quite perfect. The air con didn’t seem to have any impact whatsoever, despite several attempts to adjust. Secondly the n espresso coffee machine woundn’t work meaning we had had to leave the room to seek some coffee.
Great!
Stayed on a Saturday evening for one night in September 2024. Gym and pool area lovely although very disappointing that the sauna was closed. Breakfast was very decent, good choice/variety of food/drink and worth paying the extra for. Room was nice with a great view looking towards Canary Wharf. Very good comfortable beds and quiet rooms. Not quite sure this is a major 5* hotel but it is worth the experience to stay here if you are going to see a show at the 02 particularly as you get your entrance into the arena and avoid the queues. Overall a good stay thank you.
Great hotel, very clean and decent toiletries. Nice bar with great staff
Great hotel that looks after you. It's not cheap, but access to the O2 is amazing and the hotel staff cannot do too much for you.
Excellent stay, perfect for O2
The staff here are a credit to the hotel, they were the friendliest and most attentive staff I have ever come across during a hotel stay. Everywhere was clean, room was lovely with a comfortable bed and the fluffiest towels. Breakfast was also excellent
Ideal location for the O2. Grand lobby and easy check in. Room comfortable, ongoing works on the outside of the hotel rendered what could have been an amazing view to a view of scaffolding. The hotel is extremely busy and breakfast was chaotic, loud and uncomfortable. I wouldn't be in a rush to return.
Had a really good stay. The hotel is really convenient after an evening at the O2 watching a concert. The staff were all super friendly. The room was clean and very comfortable. Would definitely book here again.
Lovely hotel
Previous people food still in the mini bar No gluten free beer in hotel of this calibour in London I find it ridiculous .
I will never use Expedia / Hotels.com again. had major problems on checkin (Troon was somehow booked for the day before we arrived and we were staying just 1 night). The Hotel were incredible and were happy to help but because it was booked via Hotels.com we had to speak to them first. I spent about 3 hours on the phone with multiple hotels.com agents who were unable to fully comprehend and communicate (language barrier) or unhelpful and kept dropping the call, not calling back or putting me through to the intercontinental front desk or asking me to deal with it at the hotel. Only after I gave the phone to the Hotel staff (after they had to spell out words so the agent could understand what they were saying) did they then email the hotel to say they would approve a reimbursement for the additional night’s stay. The room had incorrectly been booked for the night before so the hotel were charging us double and needed hotels.com to approve a reimbursement. Hotels.com continued to not be helpful. In the end it was the incredible staff at the Intercontinental who went above and beyond to help us (special thanks to Andrea). So in the end we were able to stay and adored the hotel room especially. It felt very luxurious, the little touches were really impressive and felt upscale. We had a beautiful view, great bed and bathroom, lovely restaurant. Take bar unfortunately closed.
Always a great experience Love this hotel
The only thing good about our stay was location to O2 arena. We arrived and were told you were overbooked and that we would have to stay at a hotel 20 minutes away. I explained I was traveling with my sister who has special needs. We were then given a room in the apartments with a king bed rather than twin room as we had booked. The whole hotel is under construction, not a five star experience by a long shot.
The location of the hotel is brilliant
Apart from being surrounded by construction work the hotel in general was very comfortable and pleasant staff
We stayed here to go to a concert, hotel was amazing. Service was excellent, staff was friendly. Easy access from the hotel to the O2. Everything made our whole experience excellent.
Fabulous hotel with beautifully appointed rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy and safe access to O2 Arena

Graat hotel. Very convenient for 02. Amazing rooms & breakfast
