Excellence from check-in to check-out. Would recommend this property for anyone planning a stay in the area.

We had quiet relaxing time. Great views of the lake. Nice dinner at the hotel. Staff was welcoming and helpful.

Outdoor dining was wonderful. Fire pit was relaxing. Pool was perfect. Room was above shipping area with some noise, but fine, though long walk. Next time I will request a quiet room facing water.

Property was beautiful and well kept. Staff friendly and very helpful. Scenery was spectacular especially the sunsets over Lake Michigan.

Beautiful hotel, staff was very nice, gorgeous views. Bugs were inescapable (due to being on water not due to cleanliness of hotel) making balcony unusable and spending time outside unenjoyable. Hotel very clean but pesky bugs throughout.

Room was small with no closet large enough for a 5 day stay with 2 people. No dresser.

John (front desk) was exceptionally professional and kind. Rooms were wonderful. Grounds spectacular. I’ll definitely come again.

the hotel and staff were fantastic. Especially Alexis and Miles in the vintage restaurant and bar... I only have a couple minor problems 1. the mini bar didnt have a great selection of adult beverages 2. there was nothing in the bathroom to set toiletries bag on i had to place it on the toilet also no shelf in shower to set razor soap...etc 3. the vintage bar and restaurant is very good high end food but the breakfast buffet was only about a 6.5 i think it should be better at a hotel as nice as the Inn at bay harbor

beautiful lake views

Nice place but beds are firm

The reasoning for the low quality on comfort is the beds are very firm. I am used to softness so the bed caused my body to ache and didn’t sleep for the two nights we stayed. Overall everything else was very nice.

Classy, well-kept property. Friendly staff and a world class location on the shores of Lake Michigan.

The property was beautiful and well situated just outside of Petoskey, yet close enough to go anywhere quickly. And the view of the bay was amazing.

We like the location and the view from the balcony. We did not like the refrigerator at our room - it was very loud. Also, it was disappointing that there is only one restaurant serving dinner at the property.

Beautiful location

Beautiful property, right on the water. Great views from the balcony, very nice restaurant and bar area. Everyone was very pleasant, professional, and welcoming. The fireplace in the room was cheesy - very low flame, max timer 30 minutes. The room would be better without, as this was the only negative. Overall, very good!

Lovely hotel. The breakfast could be a little more upscale for that price and the hotel could have made an effort to have winter activities available for guests, but other than that nice place.

This hotel had endless views. The Vintage was phenomenal. Sagamores breakfast was honestly the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever eaten.

Hotels.com is Fantastic

It is a nice hotel with a beautiful view of the water. We had booked a different hotel that tried to move us over 20 miles away from where we needed to be. Hotels.com upgraded us to this hotel without additional cost.

Winter get-away

Lovely winter setting and nice, comfortable room. The property has a fun ice skating rink. Unfortunately, there was no housekeeping despite the fact we requested it at the front desk.

Location was nice...staff was friendly. For a resort this size, they need a larger pool and more chairs. We couldn't sit. The carpet in our room was nasty dirty. Very expensive for what you get. Looked over a roof!

Best Friends Getaway

We had a marvelous time at the Inn at Bay Harbor from our beautiful lake view to dining at the Vintage! We were treated so kindly by all the staff especially Marie at the front desk! We will definitely be back soon!

Amazing location of the property. Lake view rooms are the best part. Comfortable stay. All necessary steps were taken by hotel staff for safety of guests and staff.

Great experience from beginning to end. Staff made every effort to ensure we were taken care of and always cheerful and friendly. Had leftovers from dinner at Vintage restaurant and asked about using microwave. Was expecting to use the employee microwave somewhere, but instead they ended up delivering a microwave to our room. That's going above and beyond in my book. Make sure if you stay here include breakfast with your booking. I could have eaten the waffles every day.

Very clean and the staff was very professional. The only downside I think would be lack of an indoor pool/hot tub and sauna option. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub if you want to freeze yer buns off. All in all, a wonderful place to stay and I would highly recommend. Bonus, the in house restaurant/bar is a amazing.

It was very good

The grounds and the exterior are beautiful, even though covered in snow and ice. Staff and service are excellent! The gym was very impressive, with all updated equipment. Now the bad parts: the room was in desperate need of update and maintenance; I had to use cardboard to prevent the cold draft from coming in from the balcony door. The TVs have no smart features whatsoever, cannot connect to any streaming services, which in this day and age I think it should be a standard feature. And finally the food in their on site restaurant and in room dining is very subpar and overpriced, although the breakfast buffet was very good. Overall it was a good experience, but with some improvements it could be great.

Unparalled experience on the shore of Little Traverse Bay. Impeccable service from every staff member I encountered, the room was the finest I've stayed in, in decades of travel around the world. Highly recommended!

The resort is beautiful! The grounds are well kept up, the area was clean and all employees wear masks and distance the guests and so much to do.

Great location and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the beds are comfy. They are a short-staffed right now, so our check-in was delayed a couple of hours, but that’s understandable given the pandemic. My biggest complaint is some guests (maybe 1/3) weren’t wearing masks in common areas - I guess they think the rules don’t apply to them. Also the lake access is all rocks and not sand - that was a bit of bummer. We got a very good rate for our stay... not sure I could justify paying normal rates.

It was quintessential Michigan! We enjoyed a wonderful fall foliage weekend while staying at the Harbor Bay. The location was perfect for our short trips to Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, and surrounding areas. The food was delicious and staff were accommodating.

This property is Beautiful! Top of the line hospitality. Front desk is Amazing and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Ate in both restaurants as well and would highly recommend both.

One of the best places I have stayed!

My husband whisked me away for a color tour on the M-119 Tunnel Of Tree's. He booked our overnight for the Inn At Bay Harbor. WOW! Over the top luxurious accommodations including a beautiful room, kitchenette, fireplace overlooking the Bay. Let's not forget the his and her robes. Breakfast was wonderful with Egg's Benedict, make your own waffles and made to order omelet bar. Everyone who worked there were super happy, upbeat and enjoyed working there. I may just want to purchase a unit there! Can't wait to go back. Being the queen of vacation.....that says a lot.
