This is our second time staying. Everything was as expected. Thank you.
Great location, lovely public areas in the hotel. Room is a good size. Bathroom is a bit dated and cramped. Tv in the room but only 1 channel available in english
Very fast service. I instantly received my room access card upon arrival, brekfast was served timely and chechout was immediate
The accomodation is good, the hotel staff friendly and helpful.
Thank you for lovely stay and friendly helpful staff
In a perfect location, taking into account Prague,s fantastic tram system.15 minutes to Charles bridge.Huge Mall next door with food hall.Great !
My family and I stayed at ibis Praha Mala Strana Hotel for 5 nights, and everything was good. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was varied and delicious, and the location was perfect for exploring Prague. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We had a great time and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Prague.
Better than expected
Very noisy area outside. Sirens all the time. Breakfast is ok. Pillows are very soft. Not the best location if you like walking to the sights as you are quite far from them but they do have good transport links. I personally would like a fridge and kettle in room as I do like to make a drink in the morning but that is my personal thing. Great staff. Our bedding or towels were not changed in the whole 4 night stay.
Good location for Prague visitors and travellers. Everything is in walking distance. Rooms are clean and sufficient.
Good hotel!
The hotel was very clean and the staff was really friendly! Breakfast buffet very very nice with loads of selections. Did not have an in room safe but could keep bags at the hotel after checkout to spend the day visiting the city. Definitely recommend.
My room had a spider web
Good value and nice staff
The hotel is very good. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. The beds are good. Front desk is very helpful. A good place to stay near of the main attractions in Prague. The tram lines are very close. Only 200 mts. Very safe and convenient. Highly recommended it.
Average Budget hotel with public transport connect
Good budget hotel at great location with public transport connectivity. Nearby lot of budget friendly eating options. There's a mall nearby with Paul and Tesco. Rooms are very small. Few of staffs are very good and few unhelpful. No view from the room.
Everything fine!
This property advertised that it has Air Con. However it does not, there is an air recycling system that sucks air from the room and blows it back out through a filter at ceiling level, being really ineffectual as the marginally cooler air is all at ceiling level, in 30 degrees plus it was terrible, had to open window and there was a lot of noise from road and trams, nothing that the people working there could do, but really should not be advertising air con when they clearly do not have it. Could not even offer me a fan, so that we could blow air at bed height! Really disappointed and spent four very uncomfortable nights here
Good economical choice
it was very basic. 2 towels total for 2 people. no frills if that's what you're after but the room was clean and did the job. easy to access the bus from hotel. GREAT breakfast spot around the corner from hotel.
Very helpful staff
Hotel is fine but only if your goal is to sleep. No gym or other hospitality services

Great location. Lots of dining and shopping in short walking distance.
On the positive side, the hotel was in a very good central place. The price was reasonable and cleanliness was good and staff were friendly. On the negative side the walking area next to the main entrance was not lit at nights which was both a safety and convenience concern, the AC in the room was not adjustable for cold air (only warm air) and it was very noisy if we tried open the window to cooldown the room at nights.
The staff were very friendly. Good room, could have used another pillow or larger pillows.
Thumbs up.
This is my third stay, the hotel is convenient to public transportation.
Convenient accommodation. Close to shopping and dining.
Stayed for two nights and mainly chose this property for it's location. Mall nearby, easy access to public transit and Uber/Taxis. Relatively short ride to nearly any location in the beautiful city of Prague. Was greeted by surly front desk staff who responded in monosyllablic fashion to polite questions regarding the hotel and area. Bathroom is the size of a cruise ship bathroom so don't bring a great number of toiletries. Area seems to be near a hospital so heard sirens all night. Elevators are tiny. Seriously, maybe 3-4 people can ride in one. Wallpaper peeling from room wall, dated decor, but comfortable if you're only there to sleep. Didn't pay for the breakfast so I don't know if it was good.
Perfectly placed.
Clean and basic,did the job.
Good location to explore prague
I like the bedroom very clean, comfortable bed I sleep well. I will be back and I will choose the same property.
Hotel was fine. Clean, quiet and comfortable. Check-in and check-out staff were very slow to even acknowlege there was someone at the desk and even slower to perform the duties.
Very good for short stay.
Great place to stay. Definitely recommend.
Really nice stay and can roam around city without hassle. Public transport available in short distance. Go for it. But, rooms are small and can hear noise from the nearby streets. If you are a shopping freak or a city explorer, it's for you guys
strange smell from the heating, to cold on the second room
Conveniently location But no USB connection
Excellent value for money. Very nice and helpful late night welcome by the receptionist. Good breakfast selection.
Very like
Service was good. Staff was very helpful. But facilities were very basic. Breakfast was very poor in variety. It’s a good hotel with very basic facilities.
Location, location, location, when in Prague, this hotel is very convenient to get to different places, the tram is less than a block away and during the weekends there is a beautiful farmer's market a block away.
A comfortable basic hotel. Easy access via Metro. Good breakfast.
Superb Base
Great hotel to use as a base, close to new shopping complex. Excellent public transport links to get to the main tourist sites, trams or metro at bottom of road. Excellent restaurants nearly as well. Staff very helpful during stay with any questions we had.
Overall ok.
Stayed for 4 nights, 2 nights in one room 2 in a different one. The 1st one the pillows were rock hard, better in the 2nd one. Only 2 bath towels, needed at least 1 hand towel. Breakfast was expensive and not much choice in the bar. Great location, easy to get around, plenty of bars and shopping. Staff were friendly. Would stay agaim
A safe in the room would have been useful , also a refrigerator. Location is central , malls next to it.
Great location for Prague visit. Good accomodations. Expect significant noise from street because of tram tracks and cars.
Awful and scary
👍
Can't complain with the breakfast buffet. We always start our day energized. The only problem we had were the pillows. It needs changing because it was not comfortable. Feels like it hasnt been changed in years!
Clean, simple, basic travel hotel. The staff was pleasant and exceedingly helpful and the breakfast buffet was terrific. My only complaint is that the beds are exceptionally firm to the point of being uncomfortable. We stayed here on both ends of our trip and got a poor night’s sleep both times because the mattresses are so unforgiving.
Fabulous Breakfast buffet. Could have stayed all morning !!
Nice hotel
Great hotel situated close to tram and subway station. Area a little bit noisy.
Fine stay
The rooms were fine, as described. They would benefit from a more comfy pillows. Bonus points for allowing us to check in early!
Location in a very lively area
Its an Ibis..
It's an Ibis so the place is the same as all the others. The location was good, convenient for shops and local transport. The room was a bit noisy overlooking the tram lines and main road.
Very nice hotel
This Ibis Hotel has excellent customer service. The hotel is in great condition& the rooms are good size. Also, this hotel is in a great location.
Fantastic location, within walking distance (200 yards) of transport links and next door to shopping malls and pubs and restaurant's
Comfortable room with excellent breakfast included. Neighborhood was a bit commercial. But, the tram is nearby & you are no more than 20 minutes from everything. Service staff was helpful & friendly. Excellent place to stay & I recommend it highly.
Very nice and clean. Probably want to get next if my visit.
Nice and good location
Nice location next to public transport and shopping. Helpful staff.
Prague city fun
Awesome soft bed nice staff good breakfast
súper bien ubicado, es una zona muy tranquila esta a la esquina de un centro comercial, puedes llegar caminando al centro donde está el puente de Carlos a tan solo 20min.
Very basic but stylish. Absolutely no frills but very clean, safe, welcoming. Right next to a major shopping center and just 3 minute walk to the uncrowded bus 191 to the airport! Exactly what I expected and appreciate
Fantastic location, just across the road from public transport links and 100 yards away from shopping, bars and restaurants
Great location, great staff. It would be great if they had a gym
Good trip.
Hotel was good for the money. The kitchen was down making no food available, which was a real shame.
Typical ibis hotel that staffs are always friendly. The location is good for business and tourists since it is located near the subway station and a shopping center.
Overall good. But shower in bathroom designed for disabled person. Water did not run away so left with a flooded bathroom floor. Close to tram route.
Excellent hotel and location. I highly recommend this Breakfast was excellent Elisa Chavez
Great hotel to stay while in Prague! Two minute walking distance to giant mall with a giant Tesco!
Great location
We spent 3 nights and found the hotel to be very comfortable. It is in a great location only 2 minutes from the tram and also a large shopping complex. A 10/15 minute walk gets you over the river and into Old Town. WIFI was good. Great value.
Facilities and cleaning lacking
Staff at reception were friendly and helpful but I felt the hotel lacked facilities, no safety deposit box, towels weren't changed, we took cups of tea to our room which were supplied by the hotel but cleaner didn't take them away just left them to pile up. Room was very basic. No room service available not what I'd expect from a 4 star hotel. Hotel was near some shopping malls a few restaurants and bars but if you want to see the city and main attractions bars and restaurants I'd recommend a hotel on the opposite side of the river Praha 1.
Clean, modern hotel with good facilities
Our hotel room was clean and modern with good bathroom facilities and a comfortable bed. Was about 1.3m away from the man Prague city area (Charles Bridge etc) but was a short pleasant walk along the river. Lots of cafes, restaurants, shops and a mall nearby.
Ibis should review their standard
The only advantage of this hotel is location. Staff impolite, no amenities provided at bath room, no kettle for hot water. no tissue at the bedroom. Not really a hotel grade.
Affordable and convenient, competent staff
The staff is very competent and efficient. They called a taxi for me to go to events and to pick me up after. They gave good advice on what tours to take. They arranged tickets for me to see a show. I felt safe and welcomed in this hotel. Thank you to everyone at Ibis Praha Mala Strana.
Review of ibis Praha Mala Strana
The hotel lags some of the basic amenities in the room such as water kettle and also no dustbin in the room and I felt to be it overpriced for the services offered.
Terrible budget hotel
The hotel is conveniently located beside a large supermarket and shopping mall. However, the hotel is not within walking distance of any attraction. It takes at least 30 minutes to walk to Charles Bridge. The hotel is also situated in a noisy area. You can hear the noise of trams and heavy traffic/cars in any room, even on the 6th floor. As a budget hotel, the room is very small with few amenities, but for the price, it is value of money considering the higher price of rooms in other hotels. You need to specifically request for a non-smoking room if you are a non-smoker. There is bus 191, which brings you directly to the airport, but apparently, this service was not available during our trip and we had to change to bus 119 halfway through the journey. Also, the rate on Hotels.com does not give you an option to include breakfast and we had to pay 11 euro person at the hotel, which is expensive. Overall, we would not choose this hotel for our next stay in Prague.
Extremely noisy hotel (road traffic)
Incredibly noisy and parking is overpriced at 20euros per night when we were only paying 40 for our room. Ask for a room not on the road side and it may be better but we were kept awake all night by sirens and trams even though we were on the 5th floor
Very good hotel, excellent location
First we stayed at this hotel some three years ago, and now planning our vacation in Prague we chose Ibis Mala Strana without any hesitation. Friendly staff, clean well equipped rooms, ideal location, very reasonable prices. Strongly recommended for any purpose: business, tourism, shopping, this hotel is good for all.
The 2 nights stay was good, thanks.
Good Location
The staff was very kind.
Great hotel and close to old city
Our stay was very good - staff were friendly and accommodating. We had stayed in Novotel in Warsaw, Poland earlier and found that Ibis (although part of the same chain) was a step down with respect to the buffet breakfast offered. The only area of improvement would be the breakfast selection.
The bed was wonderful!!!!!!!!!! And the location of the hotel was perfect with shopping mall , restaurants, and supermarkets nearby
Quite far out from main sightseeing
On arrival we were given a double room despite booking a twin room . We were given an extra room for the first night then a twin room on day two . Inconvenience was unable to unpack
Pretty Good
I would have perfect if it had a refrigerator.... not so good for longer stays because of the no refrigerator.
Good location, clean hotel
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. It was very small and we couldn't get the air conditioning to work, but that was not a major discomfort. The closeness to shopping and public transportation is the main reason I chose this hotel, because we knew we would be out in the city and not spending our days in the room! So the location is very convenient, but the street noise at night can be a bit loud. For our purposes it was a good stay at a good price - nothing fancy, but clean.
Hit and miss
Good breakfast (and long breakfast window), and good shower. But no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Some staff polite and helpful, some not so. Hotel not in city centre, but also not in a quiet location. But centre is walkable, and hotel close to tram stops. Ok for a short break.
centrally located
great location - but not actually in Mala Strana - all amenities at hand
Good location and Clean
It was very convenient to access Tesco, a hypermarket, to get some groceries and a shopping mall. The hotel amenities are all clean and comfy. I would love to use the hotel again.
Prague!
Although the ibis Mala Strana is not actually in Mala Strana (clever marketing by ibis) but in nearby Smichov, it is conveniently located near Andel metro station where you can get a tram to pretty much anywhere. If you would prefer to walk, it's about a 25-30min walk into Old Town/Charles Bridge/Prague Castle. The hotel is also conveniently located near a big shopping mall which has a cinema, bowling alley, plenty of fast food restaraunts and a big 24 hour Tesco. Overall worth staying in this area as fairly lively and cheaper than being in Old Town. Would stay here again.
3 nights at Ibis Prague
The room was comfortable for 2 people. The staff does not interact much with the guests, however are receptive to the requests made. The room did not have a safe which was inconvenient.
Value for money
Value for money. The hotel is conveniently located near to Andel station. Breakfast was provided every morning. The hotel could do with a safe and a refrigerator.
Speedway
Trams very noise breakfast 11euros when you can go into the shopping centre up stairs in the coffee cafe 150 krona for breakfast tea coffee fresh fruit juice 4 pieces of toast 3 fried eggs hash browns brill
Comfy beds!
Good hotel for the price, location is ok specially for shopping. The only small issue was with the breakfast, quality and quantity wasn't up to standard.
comfy beds and excellent variety of breakfast
excellent hotel , really enjoyed my stay and cant wait to visit again.was satisfied with all details advertised and the beds were a dream. metro on the doorstep and only a short walk to the river and tourist areas.
what a fail
disaster
Bang for your buck.
Very nice hotel. Clean rooms and TV with the world cup :-) No complaints, except for the extremely rude waitress that served us dinner. Tried to ignore my order twice and when she did stop to hear she did not acknowledge the order or my thank you. Very discordial. Felt like we were a burden to her.
Good location
The hotel is within walking distance of the Andel Metro station and next to a major shopping mall with many stores and restaurants to choose from. Breakfast buffet was excellent and plentiful. My room was super clean. The only complaint is the lack of english TV channels. Only available was Sky news.
Budget Hotel in convenient location
Linens were very clean and bed was comfy but the chair cushions had plenty of stains on them which can be solved easily with a cover. Room is small but no problem in such a budget hotel. Location is excellent if you are not one of those people who have to walk to astronomical clock in 5 minutes. I enjoy the public transportation and return to hotel via Taxi late night so no problem. Right across the street there is Nový Smíchov mall and across the mall there is Andel Metro station. Adding necessities and a minibar to room will make this hotel excellent.

good location, nothing much to say other than this - Ibis is Ibis, no nonsense, no frills.
