A pleasant stay
I very much enjoyed my stay. The room was fine, the view of the houses of parliament and the London Eye was great, breakfast catered for all tastes and the staff were friendly.
Lovely clean quiet room. Staff very friendly. Great location
Very friendly staff, cleanliness of the room and communal areas, me and my friend felt safe after arriving late from a concert around 2am, convenient location near the underground station :)
Great stay
We had a great stay and our daughter loved how ceeative housekeeping was every day making her bed with her stuffies in a new and different way. Sadly we had some bugs in our room, which is annoying but hotel cant control nature but it was annoying. We did have rude waiter the night we ate supper at hotel, because we were waiting for husband to join before ordering this led to them just ignoring us. Husband asked for a pitcher of water, they brought the tiniest class, repeatedly tried to get bill, noone would come. As professionals, to treat us badly because we are waiting on someone is ridiculous
The room was clean and had good amenities. The staff were always friendly. We ate out every meal just because we wanted to, not because we didn't like the hotel restaurant, which seemed to have a good atmosphere and looked clean. The only thing I would have changed would be that the room was a bit clinical; it lacked a warm, cosy feel, which subconsciously made it feel cheaper than some other, let's say more advertised on TV, offerings. Other than that, it was a great base for a few days city break!

Check in very quick and easy. Room clean and good size. Comfortable bed and extra pillow if needed. Good shower. Lovely breakfast lots of choice and regularly topped up. Close to underground station Was able to leave our bags after check for a few hours which was great for our last minute sightseeing.
Room was small, dirty and basic felt like a school dorm
It was ok ... nothing major... Very well positioned on the grand centraal Must convenience..
Quick break
Enjoyed our 3 night stay, hotel & staff great
Friendly staff, good location(easy to reach from london gatwick) , nice room with view of the big ben and part of london eye. Breakfast was ok. Overall positive experiance, but we got double charged for the room, luckily i checked my card after trip and i contacted expedia agent which was helpful to solve the problem.
Conveniently situated close to main line station and other amenities
Everything was good
This is a bare-bones hotel, but it works if you only need a landing pad at night. I spent all my days walking around London enjoying the sights, not lounging in my hotel. I don't need a fancy hotel with many amenities, so this hotel was perfect for me. Plus, I spent the money I saved on other activities. The location is central and safe.
Great hotel
Great hotel in a very nice part of London. Staff very pleasant, good sized room and lovely breakfast. Will definitely stay again.
Convenient for the South Bank and walks along the river. Perfectly functional for a night’s stay. And if you like the ‘hospital-chic’ look, then this hotel room style is for you. Bed and shower were good but bathroom is in an odd plasticky booth, decorated with coloured vinyl - reminiscent of a hospital toilet.
Excellent stay
Excellent stay, lovely room with a great view!
The front desk agent treated me very well and she was nice. The diner staff were not attentive to whether we needed anything, and we usually had to call them to place an order or get the menus. Some spots in the bathroom were dirty, specifically the wall behind the toilet.
Great location. Clean!
Affordable and convenient
Good location for us. Work going on so reception a bit of a mess. Room was comfortable, mattress could have been softer and pillows could have been firmer. Shower drain blocked when first in there but maintenance did come that day to fix. DREADFUL fan noise from the extractor fan in the bathroom ALL> NIGHT> LONG!
Great property to stay at and reasonably priced. Loved the cute bar/lounge and the drinks were delicious! Especially the margaritas! I highly recommend.
It would have been nice to have Kleenex provided in the bathroom.
London Blackfriars
This was perfect for a cheaper hotel. The bed was not comfortable after a couple of nights. Otherwise, the location was great. There's a nice bar and sitting area. They serve food 24 hrs a day.
Dirty towel. Only 1 teabag
First visit to London
Location is great. 2 min walk to the Southwark underground station. Which has full lift access - a must if travelling with suitcases. Not all underground stations have this. Room was good but the lino flooring could definitely do with a good clean. Breakfast was decent for £13.50, although hot food was mostly only warm.
Great stay. Would prefer the hot water to be hotter.
A cold and noisy double room on the 3rd floor wiith very little natural light, as the clothes rail was in front of the small window at the back of the room. A lukewarm shower in a wet room and the coldest vinyl floor imaginable. One thin pillow with matching duvet. All for simple accommodation for a one night stay, but please get the basics right. Such an uncomfortable and cold night. Never again.
Had an issue with room not available at time of booking. Additionally called to have the shower fixed as it would not drain. And we also got an accessible bathroom which is not what I requested and booked. Property made 0 assistance to help nor refund anything.
no hot water shocking service
Great value and location
Great location, close to transportation and shopping. Walkable and safe area. Great breakfast. Strongly recommend it.
Lovely location
Lovely location. The staff was friendly and efficient. Perfect for a couple of days in London after a cruise before heading home.
Maybe some water bottles and tissue boxes will makeme give 5 stars
Very disappointing that no support was offered when we had a problem w the reservation.
Stay went smooth. Wish the hotel had heaters but I guess that’s how London is because there’s no heaters in a lot of places. Overall the experience was really good in both the hotel and the city.
Great location. Friendly staff. Nice room
Ok
Very small rooms and low ceilings in the hallways. And modern! We watched Arsenal play with others downstairs and we had dinner there. All around nice. Good service. No free cookies??
No complaints only compliments
Bed was comfy, room was clean and nicely decorated, staff were friendly, location was great for my business meeting (and public transport).
Terrible experience . They did not have basics stuff that every hotel has and when I asked them thé personnel and even the staf were not answeing properly! They related everything to saving the energy! Wow! They should at least mention them when we want to book it to not come there again!
Property was well cleaned and maintained. Staff was very friendly.
Rooms were particularly small -- barely enough room to lay out a suitcase. Their "high speed" WiFi caps at 1 Mbps, making it virtually unusable for most tasks. Paid extra for the "city view" for a tiny window to be obstructed by the room furnishings. My key frustration is the cost -- I did not an experience this bad given how much they charge.
Happy Days
My stay was very comfortable and coveniant for travel around south London
Made a late booking for one night here and was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable it was. Getting a corner room with greats views really helped but it is a quiet room, and easily big enough for one or 2
A great stay at this hotel. It’s right by Southwark tube so very handy, and I didn’t feel unsafe returning later in the evening. All the facilities were good, and one little issue was dealt with immediately. Highly recommended.
Value for Money
It is not the absolute basic small room you usually get. It was an ok room, value for money.
An awful lot of money for a very basic very dusty room.
The bathroom was small and the beds were small for the price . Overall Comfy
Great location. Good size room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Great location of the hotel, extremely close to train and tube, staff were friendly and helpful. Lovey and clean room and reception area. Breakfast was exceptional, great choice of cooked and continental food.
Clean, spacious, friendly staff. Easy and short walk to tube.
.
Nice location
Hotel is clean and staff friendly. Location was near tube stops as well as bus. Good eats around bend and hotel has restaurant but we did not use. Overall good 4 night stay however room is very small with just minimal space more adequate for a single person versus couple.
The Ibis was more than adequate for us. A large room considering we were in London. While not in thd very centre of London it's not located too far from the major attractions.
The room at the Ibis while not huge was large by London standards. It was clean & tidy. The property while not in central London is close enough to most all of the main attractions.
Excellent relationship between cost and convenience. Great location regarding ease with public transportation.
great location
ok
Nice location
Too basic Not worth hotel
Service is basic, reception customer service is poor. I paid 15 nights for my business partners for our yearly visit to a factory. Tried out new spot in London but our choice for Ibis was totally wrong. Is like a motel
Good stay, rooms small and has no fridge
Overall okay, however the hotel room does not have a fridge we had to ask for ice for our medication that needs to be refrigerated. Hotel also does not provide face/hand towels and facial tissue. Rooms are small.
na
It’s a great hotel and location. I like the breakfast and closed to the metro
Stayed on first floor couple of nights. If you’re not spending much time in the room it’s fine. Moved to eighth floor. Paid more for city view but nicer.
Close to Thames Path.
Well located hotel between Southwark Tube and Blackfriars overground. Convenient for Tate Modern.
Great hotel. Location is very convenient to all main attractions
Rooms are small space is tight
Experience was average. Location is good but hotel room was small can’t even keep my large suitcase open. No facial tissue and face/hand towels provided.
Staffs are good. Transportation is convenient
Lovely staff. Perfect for tube and accessibility. Super breakfast Clean, modern room. Thank you.
Very close to Southwark station. Lots of choices for restaurants we did not eat breakfast at the hotel because it seemed to be always busy but we always able to find something close by
staff very friendly and helpful location very convenient for sight seeing and going to the National Theatre
.
Clean hotel but poorly designed rooms
Our room smelled heavily like paint due to ongoing renovations. The front desk was friendly and gave us a different room. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, there’s no outlet in the bathroom except one for a shaver. The hairdryer or other hair styling tools done work in that outlet. The tea kettle Plug doesn’t reach the plug so you have to move it towards the floor to plug it in. The TV remote worked sporadically. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful but the layout and renovations of the rooms are poorly thought out.
Very nice hotel, great location, 2 mins from underground. Comfortable room and clean
A very tired property and room. Really poor for money
great location and great hotel!!!!!!
Look it’s really well located and fairly modern, loved the entrance. Room was ok, nice and cool with AC and bed was big. Bathroom felt a little untidy and smelly, breakfast was ok nothing special
Worth a stay
Very clean, very comfy, great location. Everything was super easy to sort out, if yoy needed anything the staff were super helpful.
Close to many attractions and restaurants. The bathroom was smaller than a cruise ship, and the lights had to be all on or all off at the same time. So, you could not go in the bathroom and turn on the lights without all the lights being illuminated. The mattresses were 3 inch thick foam pads on top of a box spring.
Close to transport. Great place to stay. Very clean
In a great location and overall comfortable
Nicely spotted but the bathroom was not the most cleaned one. No kleenex only toilet paper
Great for a short stay
Hotel was clean with nice atmosphere. Breakfast was very good, excellent choice and well presented. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Within easy reach of central London. Would stay again definitely
Excellent hotel - clean, tidy and fresh with really comfy beds and great facilities. Location is accessible on the south bank
Basic room but clean and in a great location
Great
Had a decent breakfast buffet, which was better than comparable hotels that I’ve stayed at. The room I resell was fairly small, which was expected, but the bathroom was much smaller than I thought it would be. The service was great and that made up for the less than modern hallways as well, All in all, it was a good place to lay my head and prepare for the day, with a train station within 5 min of walking. I’m giving this place 5 out of 5 stars overall for the price and type of hotel that it is.
The room window face to the back of the building. Not a pleasant experience for the high price paid.
The location is very convenient when going around London as tube stations are only a 5-10 mins walk. Clean sheets, AC, and clean washrooms! The front desk staff were accommodating. I didn’t expect that they allowed an early check-in even though I was expecting to leave our luggages while waiting for our check-in time. They also told us to be careful for pickpocketers in areas around the hotel and certain places in London. To get to Heathrow, the best and cheapest way is the Tube and the train line is open 24h so it’s definitely convenient
The receptionists were exceptional. Very friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.
Breakfast should ALWAYS be included with reservations.
Very good location.
For 285 USD. The space i was in was smaller than shown. There was no water or fridge to drink from. Normally hotels provide shower stuff and teeth necessity like paste and a brush. None of which was available. So you have basic shower stuff but no lotion tubes. Nothing! Just a plane room with teapot and some hard to operate AC. Staff were good especially with storing bags for new clients. But overall. Pathetic. The worst hotel I've been at in the last 10 years.
Very clean, great central location, very close to the Tube station, great staff. Rooms are very small but enough for two people who are not planning to spend their vacation in the the hotel room. I highly recommend
Decent hotel in convenient location for first time visitors to London. Room was small but comfortable
It's amazing to stay and it's clean and the staff is friendly 🙂
Front desk staff incredibly helpful and found me a very quiet room, I don’t hear a thing all night, which is unusual for London. Hotel is a little tired in some places and basic but perfectly fine for an overnight stay.
Was good close to shopping and food buses I would suguest hotel offering microwave and or refrig
Very good
Good for the price

Great breakfast!!
