Great place and an excellent vibrational place
Renovation
Good localization...restaurants and stores nearby...clean.
They did an amazing job making breakfast available with their dining area under renovation. The breakfast boxes are great and more food than you can eat. This is not my first stay and I loved having a refrigerator in my room this time. Not sure if this new for all rooms. Thank you for everything and making sure that I was aware of the renovations.
The basic needs available
We did not like to sleep in a room that we could not control the temperature. The property uses central air, because its winter the heater is on and we do not have control. Otherwise the hotel is well located, but the pillows are also very uncomfortable and cheap.
It is close to almost everything, shopping mall, restaurants, bus, taxi, and about 10 minutes to the airport. I have been using this hotel for several years more so when it is time to leave Portugal for home. I can take the bus from Algarve and get off the Oriente bus depot and walk to the hotel. The hotel can get a taxi in 5 minutes for the airport that averages a little over €10 fare. Convenience is it!
We couldn’t sleep becuase AC wasn’t working and there was no windows. It too hot to be stay in the room
Better? Impossible! An excellent dollar by dollar option. Very close to the Metro connecting to the airport
Convenient Stay Near Oriente Station
The key with this hotel is its location: It is a five minute walk from the train station and a ten minute drive from the airport. There are lots of amenities (including restaurants and a shopping mall) within walking distance. As with other ibis locations, this place is a no frills hotel. They were not generous on things like soap and shampoo, and the room had the tiniest bath towels I have ever seen. The room itself is European, meaning it is very small and cramped. There is enough space for a suitcase and a personal item. The refrigerator did not work. My luggage was delayed coming into Lisbon and the hotel was not able to help me out at all when it came to providing me with essential toiletries. Again, this is a no frills hotel. The counter service at the front desk is very friendly and professional during the day, but curt and unfriendly in the evening hours. I left the DO NOT DISTURB sign on my door but room service ignored the door tag and entered my room to clean it. Overall, this was a decent stay. I was able to make it from the airport to the hotel very easily after landing, and made the short talk to the Oriente Station the next day for my train ride out of town.
The location is very good, walk to train station and about 10 minutes drive to airport. A big mall is nearby and a big supermarket is in its underground.
Hotel 2 metro stops from airport. Metro and bus station 5 minute walk. Thank you to the staff. We arrived from a morning flight. They Check us in early. That’s a big thank you to the hotel. Location is perfect and safe. Recommend this place.
Near the airport
Location
Very god location
We only stayed here one night before heading to Lisbon airport. The location was very good - close to the Lisboa Oriente train station (trains from the north but also a metro station there going to the airport). We were in a Premium Room, which meant a coffee machine, fridge, robes, and a nice bathroom. The room felt a bit nicer than the Ibis-standard I am used to. The main problem was the aircon - it just did not seem to do anything, the room was far too hot, and our sheets were drenched in sweat. The staff did say it was unseasonable warm, but I don't know how this hotel could cope in summer with that aircon system.
The hotel has an excellent location
great and convenient stay
Not my first stay. Front desk is always stellar. Hotel location is so perfect. This is my third year staying at this Ibis and it is always flawless perfect and stellar. Only criticism is that the people tending the bar need to get a personality , as friendly sells drinks,
Short walk to the bus station and shopping center
All good thanks.
Worse efficiency policy
First two days were terrible, we were only in the hotel to sleep but the AC didn’t work at all and the room was a sauna. I talked two or three times with a lady manager and she said that there was no AC and that I should open the window, this not only didn’t solve the heat problem but the noise from outside was very anoying. Third day after calling hotels.com and they called the hotel, a guy from the hotel finally came to my room and turned on the AC from the room main breaker. Conclusion, they knew all the time the units, all the room were like this, had the AC off to apparently save money. 😡
I Thought I would have been able to utilize the gym but it was under renovation. Only stayed one night, arrived late and the hotel had food but only pizza. Was an ok stay.
Small rooms. Stayed for 3 nights and had a fly roaming around all three days. Hallways dark and outdated. Mattress too soft.
Close to mall
Nice hotel in great location
Great location great room
.
Very close to everything that you would want out of Lisbon.
It was cool
Ok
Loved the music motif, proximity to restaurants and bars, and only 2 miles to airport. An overnight stay that didn’t feel like one.
The hotel is 3.2 km from the airport. However, it is about 11 km from the city centre. The metro stop is close by but extremely difficult to find.
Nice area
They had breakfast open at 6am very convenient
It was nice, but our room was small. When two friends stopped by, we had to stand and talk. No coffee in room. Bathroom counter space was VERY limited.
Great spot if taking the train or plane the next day. Excellent breakfast the next day.
Very clean and nice place if you prefer quiet place
We stayed there one night. Hotel mid way between downtown and airport using subway
Super friendly staff and good dinner options. Short walk from the Oriente metro/train/bus stop and very close to Parque das Nações shopping mall/plaza and MEO Arena. Room was spotless, bed was comfy. I was there for a quick stay (last-minute one-night trip to Lisbon) and everything was handled perfectly.
Check in was easy, room is nice and clean.
Wonderful staff, very helpful and kind
Time to invest in new towels
Very clean but the towrls were old. Recommend new towels
Good location
Very good hotel near the airport and metro!
Perfect for what we needed. Clean, quite, close to airport
The property was nice, staff was great, but I have to say the beds had to be the most uncomfortable we encountered during our vacation in Portugal. (unfortunately)
Excellent location and a pretty decent breakfast . Very close to Vasco de gama mall and theoriente metro station .
Friendly service, clean and convenient to both train and airport. Recommended.
The best option
Helpful staff and great rooms. Great location close to concerts, mall, subway, trains, and restaurants.
Loved this Ibis. It was modern and clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. Would highly recommend
A very enjoyable stay.
Good clean hotel
Hi all good but if you are hardcore vegetarian than you may find some difficulty to stay rest all superb
Hotel lisbon near airport
Near Airport. No shuttle from airport to the hotel. Had to take an uber. 12 euros. Taxi. 20 euros. They have lockers to leave luggage. That is very good. We went to Marrakesh for 3 days. We left our luggage there. Room is fine.
Good hotel
Staff were friendly and let me check in early. Hotel is in easy walking distance to the Oriente bus station and the Vasco da Gama mall. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from the airport, which is why I chose it. The hotel room and bathroom are small but comfortable and well equipped. Given the price and proximity to the airport, I was pleased with this hotel.
We liked the location for its walkability, access to transit and the airport and nearby shops and restaurants. Easy access to the centre of Lisbon.
It’s nice hotel in a downtown area
Great place to relax. Close to train and bus stations with a great assortment of restaurants to choose from. The hotel and dining area was spotless. The beds were very comfortable
Good value for the money.
We only stayed for one night to to being close to the airport. Everything was as expected.
Comfortable room. Friendly staff.
Great place to stay. Friendly staff and steps from Expo lands, public transportation and easy to access airport. Room was small for 2 people tho.
Near Oriente station and close to Vasco da Gama Mall. Convenient!
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and neat. The breakfast was good and the location was perfect.
Anna and Diovanni at the front desk were excellent in assisting us. I would stay there again because of their kindness.
Basic but has some good restaurants within a couple blocks
It was a great location to stay at especially if one is travelling !
Very unfriendly staff. Charged us extra at check in. Poor restaurant food
Lots to do and see and close to airport.
Very accessible to everything. Staff are very hospitable and accommodating.
I stayed at this property several times. It is convenient and close to all we need. The breakfast is convenient too.
It was exactly what we needed.
Our go-to hotel near Oriente Station
This is where we stay when in Lisbon. There is a lovely walking park just behind the hotel, right on the water. It is the Park of Nations where Lisbon hosted Expo 1998. The Vasco da Gama Mall is a 5 min walk with a grocery store and anything else you need in it. From Oriente station, you can go anywhere in Lisbon on the Metro/bus, or take a train to many surrounding towns, or catch the Alfa Pendular to Porto or Faro. Perfect, quiet, non-tourisry location.
need to work on reception service
i always enjoy from ibis hotels around the world, but on this time was unplessend matter with the lady at the reception. when we checked in she charched us again on the room although we told her that we paid on website so credit us for the ammount without even apoligize! all the other things were good.
Close to the airport
Our priority for booking this accommodation was cheap, clean, quiet & safe. And this hotel was all of those. If you share our values, then you will be happy with this hotel. We were flying out of Lisbon the next morning. It's a close 10 minute drive to the airport. We liked that as well. We enjoyed being able to walk from the hotel to the water. We enjoyed the old Expo grounds. Walked to the aquarium and spent a couple hours. Wandered through the shopping mall. Had a great meal at a local restaurant. It was exactly what we were looking for.
Well equipped room, including coffee machine, bathrobe and slippers. Quiet and very comfortable bed. Easy to get to from Oriente train station and less than 10min from the Lisbon airport. Close to restaurants, cycle and pedestrian trail, as well as shopping center.
Overpriced and underwhelming.
Tiny generic rooms with cheap thin mattresses that look and feel more like an oversized diaper, same goes for the pillows. Location is conveniently close to the airport but overpriced considering all you get is a motel looking room. They sell food but it’s all mediocre quality and wayyyyyyy overpriced since there are few attires around they gouge you for everything.
Excellent breakfast menu choices
.
The hotel has an excellent location, and is clean and modern. Hot water pressure was good. However, there is no fridge or coffee maker in the room. And the bath towels are very small. The buffet breakfast was small, but good.
I think this is a budget friendly hotel in an expensive area. The room I got was small but had all I needed as a single traveler (one full size bed). Instead of a traditional closet or wardrobe the room storage cubbies and shelves. Get a bigger room for 2 people. I will say this was the softest bed I had in the entire country. The decor, ads and information in the hotel seemed to speak to younger customers and want to be super trendy. I paid for the breakfast and it was standard, They have a pancake machine I'd never seen before.
Really good value and good location to the newer part of the city. Would stay again
Meh
convenient access to airport
Mostly clean room and feeling of freshness helped by the laminate flooring ( nothing worse than those hotel carpets harboring who knows what!) Very small room and beds very poor. Only 1 pillow and sign saying we had to pay €20 to get another?! No power point next to left side of bed. No hairdryer? (or couldn’t find) No lock on the bathroom door, toilet bowl stained ( benefit from some bi carb and vinegar) and shower almost impossible to pace. I’ve stayed in far better for €130/night.
Enjoyed my days there a good selection for breakfast my only disappointment is that the rooms are very small other than that totally loved the hotel a as of it’s convenient to shopping and the train/bus station.
Property seemed nice, by things to do
Just stayed for a couple hours of sleep between flights. Was relieved to be able to check in after midnight. Front desk person was not very friendly but room was clean and property appeared nice.
This hotel is a basic airport hotel and even though it is three stars does not provide any tea making facilities nor a free cup of tea. The booking for twin beds was a joke two single beds were put together which technically makes it a double bed and because of the built in furniture you cannot seperate them.the room was very small the bathroom very small and not soundproofed. The front desk ladies were very professional in all our dealings with them. This was not comfort it was convenience for the airport otherwise would not stay there.
One night stay - Lisbon
The front desk staff was very friendly upon our arrival. The breakfast served was very good...lots of variety. The room is small but sufficient and clean. Location is a business district but not far from the airport which was great. I would recommend staying here.
breakfast is very good and cheaper
Great hotel and breakfast
Great stay. Super convenient, close to transportation, close to large shopping area, close to lots of food options.
Good for one night stay. Basic rooms. Good location, close to airport and restaurants.
Nice staff
Great location !
Great location, modern and clean ! Staff was friendly and helpful !
A nice comfortable bed and pillows. Close to Oriente station and airport. Plenty of places to eat nearby.
I liked the decoration of the hotel and the staff was really nice. The fire alarm went off at 2 in the morning and there wasn't any explanation on what had happened, which I think it's very disrespectful.
Great location near Oceanario de Lisboa and the ocean great for running
River, restaurants, location
ibis Lisboa Parque das Naçoes | Hotel in Lisbon | Travala.com
This hotel is located in easy walking distance from the Lisbon Oriente train station and also a quick drive to the airport. It was a basic room that was clean and quiet. Great location close to the water, Parque das Nacoes and Vasco de Gama shopping centre. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
