Adequate room, central location, friendly staff, good price.

A little dated decor but perfect for the price.

We stayed there twice this year. We will stay again whenever we visit Antwerp. Nice and quiet neighborhood, room very clean and friendly staffs.

Decent value, 10 min walk

A decent value for a hotel which isn10-20 minute walk from the main sites. Breakfast was great. Room was clean but small and not a lot of room to hang up clothes. Bathroom was small. The power randomly went out the first night I was there. Not in the hotel, just my room (?). It came back on 30 minutes later. Ask for a room not overlookkng the stadium/concert venue. It was loud with traffic and skateboarding, I can't imagine on a night with a show. I used my ear plugs every night.

Not comfortable

The room was clean but the mattress was very hard and the air conditioner would not cool any lower than 71 degrees. When we went to ask at the front desk they informed us that it would not go lower. Then we asked for a lighter blanket instead. The answer was no. Then we asked for an extra mattress topper and the answer was just ‘no’ We did not sleep well because of all of these issues.

Super simple, comfortable room, little loud from the hall and plumbing but not a big deal. This group is great for travelers like me, who just need a no frills frills place to sleep and shower. I would leave by 10 AM and be out all day, back by 10 -12 PM, shower sleep, shower, leave. If you travel like me this chain is perfect for the price.

i liked the fact that it is in the centre and parking accessible. the fornt desk staf at check in and check out was very helpfull and patient. even did make me a member of the accor hotel team by signing for us and booked a hotel in den haag for us.

No refrigerator in the room. But they were willing to keep meds that needed refrigeration in their private fridge

Close, walking, distance to city center and train station. Located in a nice area; near a nice park. Facility looks new. We had breakfast at the hotel; it had many options and fresh.

Great hotel that is right outside of an outdoor market area.

Hotel location is great, hotel service is good and all bare necessities are taken care of as typically Ibis hotels are great for business travel (1-3 days) so overall the hotel is great. However, not having USB charging outlets and/or the fact that ALL the outlets in the room cannot accommodate chargers from other countries is unfortunate and just because of that inconvenience I would rate this hotel 1/5 since virtually everything we have needs to be charged and using the same adapter/outlet to charge multiple things is not practical.

Good location and easy check in/out process. Dissatisfied with room service app order and hour later nothing, go to reception to be told app doesn't work. No kettle/ hot drink facilities in room disappointing.

Went to a concert at Stadsschouwburg Antwerpen and this hotel is right next door, perfect! It's basic but very clean and comfortable for the price. Great value.

Ok but too small :(

Overall it’s fine but the room is smaller than other ibis hotels

The location was great, but the street was noisy. You could hear the drunk students returning to their dorms in the middle of the night. If you are not noise-sensitive, then you should have no problems, but I was awoken several times during my stay. There was also a cat convention, and you could hear the cats meowing in the middle of the night.

Great Location

The room was small compact but clean very good shower the tv had bbc 1 and2 handy for home news. Location near the train station weekend market on your doorstep.

Overall satisfaction

Hotel refused to refund me on my booking, when I cancelled in advance for a very good medical reason. Being a long standing customer with Expedia, they should do the right thing and CREDIT my Expedia account. Very poor on the hotel for refusing this after I provided the required info and in advance.

Ibis Antwerpen Centrum Hotel - an all plus review

We were lucky with extremely good weather. Additional highlights include lovely weather and excellent T-shirt wearing temperatures. The hotel location could not be better. All the staff was superb in their support and willingness to help. Arndt was the star of the show - terrific sense of humor backed-up by a service attitude that everything is possible. An excellent employee that deserves much better.

Very good breakfast, plenty of choice. Room facilities were limited, no coffee or tea in room, generally too small. The location was good for the centre but is situated by a large square which is noisy at night, one night having music until 1am. Pricey for what it was, but you're paying for the location which was excellent.

Good location. Close to the historic area, but far enough where it is not too noisy. There is a weekend market across the street and a nice park nearby. <15min walk from train station. Room was small, but to be expected as it was pretty affordable. Doors don't offer much sound proofing. Staff was friendly - good option for those traveling with pets. Quick checkout!

Excellent, inexpensive hotel very close to Old Town

Great location. Markets on sundays just outside. Free parking right outside hotel from Saturday 22.00 until Monday. Walking distance to everything.

Big room with bathroom. There is a lobby with bar and seating dining area. The hotel is across from a European weekend market, near some restaurants and bars and walking distance to a lot, away from the crowds but near the train station. Door didn't close properly so I had to pull it shut and some annoying "neighbor" complained even though the place had other bumps in the night.

Good, central place to stay

Good hotel, comfortable sized rooms. Within walking distance of all the sights. Becareful when walking from central train station as no signs on Tabakvest street (google recommended walking route) so we totally walked past it!

Minimal staffing, friendly personnel, central location in a great historic city. Accessible sightseeing walking or with rental city bicycles. I would recommend to anyone to visit Antwerp and Hotel Ibis offers a great and very affordable option. I recommend the buffet style breakfast, a copious selection for 15 euro.

Great location and everything OK except for the tiny bathroom (approx 3ft6ins by 6ft 6ins).

Convient location We were gone all day but they did not make our beds

The location is perfect and everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only downfall was the bathroom was extremely small. Could move in the shower and had to sit sideways on the toilet because it was so close to the wall

Well placed for a city break

As one would expect from Ibis, No frills but clean warm and comfortable, an easy walk from the station right in the middle of the shopping district. Receptionist was outstanding, Amile I think ?

Good Value and Location

Good value and easy walking distance from the train station and centre of Antwerp. Have stayed here every time we visit Antwerp and would definitely stay again. Bathroom compact but has everything you need. We stay in Ibis around Europe all the time - you know what you are going to get. Wifi always good.

Good location in beautiful Antwerp

This hotel is in a good walkable location for the centre. There is no carpark for the hotel but there are 4 carpark within a 2 min walk away. The hotel was comfortable, the bathroom is a little small but was adequate enough. We've stayed with ibis before and this visit was no different, you know what you get and it's great for a short stay. Would stay here again without hesitations Antwerp is well worth a visit

No frills no spills

Clean A/C room with no further frills or luxuries. Corridors are quite smelly. Convenient lication to visit the city centre.

Great location for exploring this interesting city

Its a clean modern hotel. It's only a 15 minute walk from Antwerp Central Station. Less than that to loads of great shops & restaurants. And not forgetting all the great beers in the bars too. The rooms are small - the bathrooms rediculously so - but they are modern & clean. My room had airconditioning which was a lifesaver in early August 2018's heatwave! It's in a great location from which to explore Antwerp. I'd stay here again, for sure.

Ibis Antwerpen Centrum was well situated, comfortable, clean, with helpful staff. Despite the small room, our stay was very comfortable.

The room was basic but, for a short stay, it was just what we needed. (Clean and a central location.) Really easy to walk from the train station and then into town to see the sights of Antwerp. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

Nice quiet hotel

Hotel is nicely situated ten mins walk to the old town in a quiet area. The rooms are very comfortable. Beds were lovely. Bathroom could have been doing with being a bit bigger. Ac was perfect in the hot temperatures. The breakfast buffet was good but they kept running out of food and the one staff member was struggling to fill it up. He was doing his best. So more staff may be helpful. Also the receptionist ran the bar in the evenings so you coukd have a wait to order food or drink or check in. But everything was fine about my stay. No complaints, just suggestions.

Amazing friendly staff everywhere, front desk, housekeeping and restaurant .. how often does a restaurannt staff ask you if you had a good night sleep? Breakfast is excellent, the two bee hives in the yard are impressive ... softer troilet paper would be a big +. Excellent location

Tiniest bathroom, Good Hotel

The location and common areas of the hotel were great. The staff was helpful and made the check in easy. Our only complaint is the size of the bathroom, which left it almost impossible to shower or use the toilet. Bumping out the bathroom by a few feet at the expense of the rest of room would have made it a more pleasant stay.

My stay wasn't good not what I expexted. I been staying many Ibis but this Ibis in antwerp sorry to say bad service..reception not smiling not welcome even..I as a guest to great them.housekeeping service very slow. Room very small ( reception not even offer to upgrade we don't mind to pay but at least offer something ).no security some guest making party until midnight disturbing others sleeping. No city map was offer..breakfast a bit expensive. .One thing good near to centrum easy to go for shopping..parking should be free for guest at least when they stay with you... All hotel provide parking space... at least you don't have then you should have free for your guest who stay.breakfast need some changes although is nice but everyday same it's boring. No business center or may be u have but I was not told about facilities. .no swimming pool no gym...However free Internet was good...compare to adagio Ibis has to improve a lot

Short and enjoyable stay in Antwerp at the Ibis

The hotel is ideally situated between the station and the old town. It has the usual Ibis facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The room was standard Ibis, although the bathroom was rather small. I was only in Antwerp for 1 whole day and this was well used by taking a cycle tour of all the major sites- much to be recommended.

Hotel was good for the price

My hotel stay was great, the only thing I didn't like was the fact that i had to pay in order to leave my luggage in the locker !!!!

Excellent value and convenient.

Two nights to visit a granddaughter studying here: we found the location very convenient, quite central and with a (hotel recommended) excellent Brasserie five minutes walk away, and a delightful market in our doorstep at weekends. Helpful staff, rooms basic but clean and well designed, and an excellent breakfast. Very good value. Would use it again.

Ibis Antwerp Centre

This is a clean, friendly and efficient hotel. My room was bright and clean. The fixtures were minimalist but worked well. This suited me well as I was out all day every day seeing the sights and visiting restaurants etc.

Good location for visiting old town, just around corner from Rubenshuis. Modern clean room. Breakfast included good selection. Would stay here again.

Great location - close to shopping, cafes & sights

We stayed at Hampshire for Amsterdam Pride. The location was perfect! We had direct access to the Parade route and Pride parties. Separate to the event, we also had a very short walk to some of the best shopping in Europe. The hotel staff were awesome. We didn't use many of the facilities in the hotel, but they were available, and the restaurant and bar in the property looked great.

Pro: Low price, good location close to shopping centre and museums, very nice breakfast. Cons: Tiny room, old and crampy bathroom. It is the only hotel that charged me for luggage storage.

Nice Stay

Room was comfortable, clean and neat, but small. Area of Antwerp was very good, easy walking to main central train station, downtown, shops in several directions and a university area. Many local, reasonable restaurants and bars and a large state park nearby and away from main shopping - tourist area. Can also walk to and along the river. The AC was appreciated.

Excellent location. Rooms are small but clean - Equipped with TV, Air conditioned, desk,small bathroom with sink/toilet/shower/hair dryer, beds are comfortable. Ideal if you don't plan to spend time in your room. I would definitely stay there again. Caution! There is construction going on next to the hotel, so it may be noisy during the day.

Nice hotel in Antwerp

It was my final 2 nights of month long adventure in Europe. The hotel is nice, and it's within walking distance of most of the cool places in Antwerp. The room size is small by American standards, but it's good by European ones. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Antwerp with friends

We had a very good stay at the Ibis Antwerp The only thing that spoilt it was the weather but that is the chance you take Antwerp is a big city with lots of interesting buildings and very good shops The Ibis Centrum was ideally placed you could walk everywhere and there was a big choice of bars and restaurants

Hotel Ibis Antwerp

The hotel was very central and easy to find from the motorway. There is secure parking opposite which was relatively cheap for 24hrs. (Unlike Amsterdam!!). The staff were very helpful, offered us maps and the use of an adaptor. We didn't have breakfast. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. There were no tea or coffee making facilities. The shower was rather weak and the bathroom was dated but we didn't mind we only wanted a place to sleep.
