I currently at the Hyatt in Jamaica. it’s terrible in comparison. Made me understand how they get it in DR. This property lives up to the Hyatt name. Jamaica review in-coming.

The property is well maintained and the room was comfortable with a great view of the ocean. The food is unmatched to any restaurant we have eaten at in North and Central America. The staff was excellent throughout the property.

Best all-inclusive vacation I've ever been on. I can't wait to go back, the food was outstanding the staff there are the friendliest people and it has one of the best gyms in the Caribbean. I highly recommend it and I think I am now a Hyatt customer for life! Amazing vacation!

Here’s a detailed and honest review, completely unpaid: Pros • The hotel is stunning and perfect for Instagram photos. • When I visited (late November), there was no seaweed. • The beach sand is very soft and firm. • most of the staff here were able to communicate in English quite well. • The pizza, the grill BBQ by the pool, and the Italian restaurant were all delicious. • If you’re on a short trip or not planning other activities, the water park inside the hotel is well-equipped and highly recommended. • Visiting in November, it wasn’t overly crowded, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful. • The hotel is just a 15-minute drive from the airport. Cons • Maintenance is lacking. For example, door handles, faucets, and toilet paper holders were rarely properly fixed—most were loose or crooked. • Food at the restaurants takes a very long time to arrive. We waited over 40 minutes for our meal. Club Member • The Club Member exclusive lounge for check-in had too many people waiting, and we had to wait about 40 minutes. • Better view. • Breakfast at Shutters Beachside, a restaurant exclusive to Club Members, was chaotic. There were too many people, too few staff, and the food took a long time to arrive. However, the ocean view was absolutely stunning. • Still, the price difference between regular rooms and Club Member rooms is small, so it doesn’t feel like a waste of money.

Great resort to relax and enjoy the beach. They have a lot of facilities and a bunch of nice restaurants to choose.

Service always available and super friendly. The best food out of all the resort I went to. Can walk anywhere. The hotel and the beach was clean, the Acqua park fun and the spa was amazing. It’s pricy but worth it.

Staff are great hut should be better rewarded. In addition, to any towels used per guest and the hotel allows this. Also, clients take as many pool chairs they want even though they ended up using only 2. Hotel approves this and it diminishes the use by other clients

This was my second visit here this year and I was hoping to experience the same level of service I did during my first visit. I even upgraded to the club level. I did not receive neither concierge service nor a bottle of wine. I love this resort, but am quite disappointed, especially at not receiving what I paid for. Additionally, there seemed to be less of an effort in keeping the beach clean. I witnessed multiple guests cleaning out plastic and other trash from the ocean. I really hope the resort works to resolve this.

Not enough entertainment for the adults. There should be a nightclub or turn one of the conference rooms into a nightclub on Fri or Sat night.

We stayed for 8 days to celebrate our anniversary. Our room was great! It had great views, it was extremely clean and well maintained. The property itself is very nice and well organized. The pools were great and the hot tubs were relaxing. The beach is super close and very beautiful. They had nightly shows and entertainment that was very good. The local "Scape Park" is a must. Really nice excursion. Only inconvenience was the restaurants being packed by 7. Always a wait unless you eat early. Wasn't very fond of the vacation package hustle either... Other than that the resort is definitely worth a visit. We'd definitely visit again.

Loved all the food and drink options. Pools were fantastic. Staff was always lovely and helpful. We did a spa / massage day that was incredibly enjoyable! Highly recommend. Check out the water sports and activities. Not a ton of nightlife, but we made the most of it!

We wish they had a club. We are a young couple and sometimes we didn’t know what else to do at night. But everything else was perfect. Pay extra for being a Club we didn’t do and we felt we didn’t miss anything different. The staff was super helpful, I can tell they love their job and it felt as if they are happy with working at the Hyatt and that’s important. Gorge at lobby was great, Eugenia at the Grabrielle bar was excellent. Santos at the Pier restaurant was awesome. Excellent services everywhere we went. The Blind Butcher was worth it.

Good rooms and gray food!

The only thing was the buffet, everything is behind the windows & they don't let you serve so you must wait a while to get your food.

what can i say about my stay at the Zilara Resort, it was an amazing experience. from the moment my wife walked in, we were astonished at the beauty of the lobby entrance. we were greeted by the hotel staff who took our luggage and check us in promptly. we were taken to our which was very spacious with massive king size bed and huge 55' in tv. the bathroom had his and hers vanity, which i love and big stand-in shower. and enough cabinet space throughout the entire room to pack all your belongings away. but what really stood, and we really admire was the staff, I mean they were so kind, professional and attentive, from Leury at the pool Bar, Melvin the server at the Mercado buffet, to the very lovely and kind concierge named Jenny at the front lobby. top notch service. all our needs were met. the restaurants, we love the food, even though we didn't visit all the restaurant the once that we did attend, were phenomenal, food was great, and staff was on point with the service. Now even though you have to pay extra for it, The Blind Butcher is the place to visit if you're celebrating a special occasion like we did for my wife's birthday, you get to eat great food with a show every 15 mins or so, it was night to remember, it was very classy and entertaining. All and all, we had amazing experience we definitely recommend this resort to all our family and friends.

The food options could have been much better. I stay at the Hyatt Zilara in Montego Bay and the food options were much better. However, overall was not disappointed in anything else.

The property doesn't have much of a nightlife.

They have a lot of Resturant with various varieties. Taste of Italian and French dishes not the best. Disappointed for not having Mediterranean resturant or Buffett night on the beach. Hope they can add it to their collection. Need more live music at the pool and lobby. Great staff and middle management team on top of their staff. Thank you

I definitely enjoyed my stay at the Hyatt Zilara. Great food, drinks, and they have a very attentive staff that takes great care of you. Zalara has modern rooms without any a/c or mold issues that you might find at other all inclusive properties. I will definitely be coming back in the near future.

This property was amazing and exceeded all of my expectations!!

Adults only, nice restaurants, amazing food quality, service is excellent, really a five start hotel. Need maintenance and I don’t understand why they don’t fix the problems because they are really minor issues. Example: Zilara Room 5115, the shower needs to be changed, is a minor repair but still makes the hotel looks old.

The Hyatt Zilara Cap Cana is an amazing resort! Everyone area from the main lobby to the hallways and even the gym was spotless! Also, the buffet restaurants were top notch, all food items were fresh, the presentation of all items was very appealing & all staff were very friendly & courteous. The pools, beach area & hot tubs were kept clean and there were always plenty of fresh/clean towels on the beach chairs.

Maintenance and cleanliness were not at level of a Hyatt.

Such an Amazing place!

The Hotel looks amazing and overall the service was very good. Had an issue with service 1 night but the staff later meet with me to explain why the staff member was rude to us. Also went to The blind Butcher Experience which adds $150 per person to share a steak, which was average. For the price of the stay I was expecting to have the premium liquor I drink and not have to pay extra like in the sports bar. Also since we stayed in an adult Hotel I was expecting to have access to the pool beyond 6pm with access to the pool bar. Last but not least my girlfriend got food poisoned, So be careful with food.

Everything was good, but some of the staff were sometimes kind of unorganized and lost. Also, some restaurants were closed when they were scheduled to be open. Everything else was good.

My second time to Punta Cana by far the best experience, the staff was SO incredibly nice! They go above and beyond to make sure you’re having a great time. I was so pleasantly surprised with the food. It was delicious. I have traveled around the world and I can honestly say that I would go back without hesitation.

The rooms were nice and for the most part the staff was friendly. The food was just so/so, not anywhere close to being 5 star.like I read in some of the other reviews. The staff was always trying to upsell you on something. There wasn't a lot of beach to walk as they have it segregated off by some of the close by resorts. Also, there is a private beach club property right next door that does events. It was so loud one evening until about 2 AM, the vibrations came right into the room. Finally, the water park was closed all but one day we were there and could not get straight answers from the staff. I just felt like they would tell you what you wanted to hear. I enjoyed my vacation but would definitely not go back at these prices.

By far the best experience on a hotel. They always want to make sure that you are having a good time. From Felix, the food manager, to patrick at the gym( which is an awesome gym) and Manuel with the entertainment. Coming back for sure

Beautiful resort, very friendly & accommodating staff. Great for couples looking to relax & have great food. 10/10 stay. The only constructive feedback I have is that it is NOT "ALL INCLUSIVE". Transportation to & from the airport is NOT included, dinner at the "Blind Butcher" is not included & very overrated (food is 6/10), and the staff does a lot of upselling. Aside from this, the resort is beautiful, the service is phenomenal & I do recommend staying here.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was so much fun! The drinks and food were delicious!! I’ve been to other resorts in DR and was very impressed. They had some many activities, we had a paint night, silent disco and tastings!

The tranquility, the good service, the regular cleaning in the room and in all areas of the hotel, the exquisite food in each restaurant, good drinks and the attention made my stay one of the best experiences I have had in hotels. The visit to the Spa is a must and if you can become a member of the concierge club, even better. For me this was an important part since I had access to all areas of the hotel without time restrictions. (Exclusive bars, restaurants and pools) Definitely another level of vacationing!

This is the best resort in Punta Cana. We’ve been to the Dominican Republic over 10 times and this resort exceeds them all. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommended. The beach was amazing, the service was exceptional, the food was incredible and the staff was warm, friendly and super helpful. Our butler Eli is the best of the best. He took care of every detail and did not miss a thing. Thanks to our butler Eli, Brian-our server at Breakfast and Lunch, Gilbert at concierge, restaurant Manager John Carlos and so many others that I can’t remember all the names. This place was absolutely beautiful. Didn’t have not one bad meal. It was a girls trip. The only thing was not much of a night life. This was more for couples. Even though wasn’t much of a night life, I enjoyed myself. It was a very relaxing vacation. The ocean and pool was great.

Great place the best in punta cana

The property is gorgeous. Very modern very pleasing to the eye. The food and the food options are both 10/10. The drinks are also excellent. It’s a great place to relax this isn’t your turn up hotel so if that’s what you are looking for that’s not the vibe here. The rooms are gorgeous and spacious. I truly don’t have any complaints you will have an amazing time at this resort.

Its ok but not worth the money

The property was average. Plenty of choices for food at the different restaurants but the food quality was just average. The service was slow and most of the time friendly. Nice big gym shared with Hyatt Ziva.

Best thing about the resort was the friendliness of all the staff members. Food was delicious! Cleaning staff was very diligent. Everything was very clean. Would go again.
