Amazing property
What a relaxing, tranquil space.
We love our stays here. Highly recommended.
There is lots of things to do like horseback riding, hiking, swimming
Building
Beautiful location on the Rio Grande. Many lovely walking trails. Good service and delicious blue corn pancakes.
I was told at yhe frontbdesk to book online as it was cheaper. I asked for a soaking tob and got a tub/shower combination. The ceiling was filthy where the vent was blowing. The tub was stained and looked dirty. A vacuum could be heard at 7 am. The bed was comfortable and the bar food was superb!
Very nice
Great property and wonderful amenities. My only complaint is the bathrooms are very dated and need a refresh. Steeping into a bathtub with very old fixtures was not that exciting.
This property is beautiful and the Corn Maiden restaurant is amazing!
beautiful, peaceful and friendly, helpful staff:
Pretty good
absolutely amazing experience, we will go back for sure
Very relaxing and peaceful.
Beautiful property. But at 400 dollars a night in a tiny room where u can hear noise from the surrounding rooms kinda sucks, and the breakfast buffet is not so good, also I booked a room with a balcony and got a patio
I love this place we have a great time 🎉
Awesome stay, will become our go to staycation spot.
We were put in a room that was all the way in the back so everytime we came in it was probably 10-15 min walk to our room. The hotel was very clean but seamed a bit dated. The pools are very nice. I think its way over priced for whats included. All of the experiences cost quite a bit. Not much was included in the price. They advertise room service but everytime we tried we got no answer.
Love this resort! Love the pools… and surrounding nature. The overall ambiance (although when I was there 7 years ago, they had flute music playing in the kiva pool. They also had musicians playing on the hotel lawn…. Perhaps we were just there at a different time, but missed that.
Excellent family getaway. Quiet and serene.
We loved how secluded this property was and the ambience was so nice. Plenty of amenities and the view of the mountain is unmatched! We will definitely stay again!
It’s a nice getaway! The resort has many options like pools’ walking trails, horseback riding, s’mores at the fire pit, mini workshops, etc to keep the whole family entertained. We had a fantastic time and will definitely come back.
We stayed at Hyatt Tamaya with a family friends and our 4 young boys. The resort was nice, not top notch or updated but clean and had excellent amenities. The pools are awesome, the kids adored the giant slide and the grounds had so much to do for both adults and kids. The rooms are nice, spacious but definitely in need of updating. The food was good, not great and priced as per usual for a resort. The kids did makes s’mores overnight with the free s’mores kits and loved it. Overall an excellent resort and we will be back in the future.
Beautiful place to stay.
I have a issue with staff service
B-
Beautiful property but the hotel rooms and halls need a complete renovation. New carpets, furniture, etc. The bathroom shower in my suite hadn’t been properly cleaned. Although I received a discount after mentioning it to management, I do believe this type of oversight shouldn’t happen.
Lovely peaceful hotel with amazing views. We enjoyed the nearby walking trail, bike rentals, and restaurant options. Very family friendly without the noise of a water park. The architecture and interior design felt like contemporary museum which I loved! Lastly the service was fantastic! Very responsive and quick! My 15 year old daughter also really loved the hotel too. Will definitely come back!
This is amazing place
Everyone is so kind
Good customer service and plenty to do.
The Sunday Buffett was amazing, and the views & ambiance are incredible!
Beautiful property. Excellent staff.
Beautiful scenery, great activities, and outstanding pools. Love the walking trails on property and proximity to horseback riding. I wish the dining options were a bit better, They are adequate, but A higher end dining option would have been nice. But a great place to stay overall, especially for families
Love this hidden gem. We cannot wait to plan our next stay and for longer!! They are EXTREMELY family friendly and have tons of activities and even a beautiful walking trail.
Property was well maintained.
Staff was pleasant and accommodating
Amazing secluded resort. Great for families
There were very few dining/drink and room service options during our stay.
Beautiful stay, relaxing & fun! Would definitely recommend.
Great golf next door with beautiful scenery, restaurants are awesome always something to do on the resort.
It’s unfathomable to think there is zero service in the pool area. Even though the pool bar and grill is closed, at least have someone coming out to take food and drink orders and bring them in from the inside dining area. This placed sucked
Really recommend!
Love coming here, they have lots of amenities, you don't even need to leave the hotel
Beautiful, tranquil, wish we could’ve stayed longer! Awesome friendly staff. Will be back!
The entire property is beautiful located on indigenous land and we were happy to taste local southwest fare in the restaurant. We also loved the local artisans who came by and gave us a chance to shop and buy unique pottery and jewelry. Indian bread served warm was also a big hit!
Beautiful facility with nice amenities, incredible views and good food.
We had a wonderful stay! Everything was amazing, we will definitely be back
Best place ever … we are repeat customers…
Great visit and experience!
Charged an outrageous, undisclosed pet fee and had zero shuttles running, closed services early, opened late and rude staff. I've stayed here often and it has gone SO far downhill. Terrible property!
Everything about Tamaya is absolutely exceptional. The staff, rooms, lobby, amenities, service - it's all impeccable. The lobby in this hotel, in my opinion, is the prettiest room in the state. Everything is so tastefully decorated, so carefully thought out. The bartender made me the best old fashioned I think I've ever had. I try to stay here every time I need a night in Albuquerque. If I had to ding this hotel for any reason, the walls are a little thin - not the best for light sleepers like myself, but that wouldn't stop me from moving in if I could. A pretty much flawless property with A for every nook and cranny. Can't wait to go back.
One of the most beautiful, peaceful hotels we have ever stayed at. Very clean and relaxing. My two boys (ages 13 & 8) keep asking wheh we can come back!
Love the serenity and beauty. Excellent wait staff and room is splendid.
beautiful and unique atmosphere, great food, especially the nachos out on the patio
Staff was very friendly. Only issue was given a room that was already occupied. Embarrassing and inconvenient. They resolved an apologized. Rest of stay was great.
Beautiful resort. Friendly staff
DISAPPOINTED!!!
The app double booked me for my stay in New Mexico, same checkin dates and same check out days. Then after spending over an hour trying to figure out why my checking account was billed twice for my stay in New Mexico. Wasting my vacation time. The supervisor at Hotels.com told me he'd be refunding my account AND THAT HAS NOT HAPPENED YET! I NEVER STEPPED FOOT IN THIS HOTEL AND I WAS CHARGED $1695 for this 'BOOKED HOTEL', pw Er the app. I WAS UNAWARE OF THE BOOKING, NEVER RECEIVED CONFIRMATION FOR THIS SUPPOSED BOOKING.
Perfect family-friendly spot to take in the hot air balloons and the eclipse. We will be back!
Disappointed in New Mexico
My reservations was for a junior suite with pool view. I received the junior suite, but with a mountain view. I was given a lower level suite and the resort had a bug problem! All sorts of bugs crawling in the room, hallway, etc. I called and they said that they were aware of this problem because people leave the patio doors open (isn't that what is for)? They said they would try to come spray the room, but wouldn't give me the option to move to another room. It was crazy! The staff in the restaurants seemed bother when asked for assistance to order food! I actually got the run around for room service! I was given the left over from the cafe that was displayed in the morning. Unfortunately, I will not be staying or recommend this place. Very outdated! needs remodeling, especially the carpets. So disappointing for the price I paid.
The hotel was beautiful but i was in a room that was dated and could use an upgrade.
Overall Awesome!!!
Overall, excellent!!! Front desk staff is outstanding. Patio off of bar area and bar area are awesome!! A couple of hiccups - Santa Ana Cafe is a challenge. Restaurant for lunch closes early and staff there is cranky. Food us okay, not great.
Resort is beautiful. Everyone was so friendly and great. Loved how good we where taking care of. Food was great and reasonable prices. Will go again
Beautiful place and friendly staff.
Room service food was expensive and quality of the food was a 4 out 10. Food was cold and wet, turkey roll and taste was not good
This is one of my top elegant, peaceful in the world. Thank you.
Beautiful grounds and very friendly staff.
Overall, a beautiful property. Some areas of the rooms and property were in need of repair or better cleaning. Our bathroom tiles and sink were not cleaned well. The cushions for the lounge chairs at rhe pool were dirty. The Santa Ana cafe was very good. The views were beautiful and the property was very bice. The decor of the common areas was very nice.
Lovely hotel for a girl's weekend! Took a long walk to the river through the Bosque on site and enjoyed beautiful meals!
Great Guest Service, Overall Great Resort
It was a great experience, from the Valet personnel to the reception, guest service, and restaurant. They all are very helpful and friendly! The room and hotel in general were very clean, and the room was comfortable. Great location -within walking distance of the river-bosque, with a light path.
Everything was well Bar staff can be friendlier an not talk about other customers where clients can hear
Comfortable bed, nice property. Very low occupancy while we were there so that made it extra quiet. Very friendly, helpful staff. I would stay here again for sure.
there was no area at the hotel to get a late night snack
The grounds of the resort were beautiful and well maintained. Where it fell apart for me was the price of the food and drinks. It was very overpriced and the food was average. The restaurant had a subpar dinner buffet which is not my thing. It was just underwhelming.
Check in time at 4pm, but text to indicate room availability never received so I had to go to the desk after two previous trips to the desk to see if we could check in and finally we could. Was there for a family member's wedding and room prices were fine but drink prices were ridiculously over priced. Also, no food options late night except in room dining but QR code didn't work to pull up menu to order so another trip to desk to ask about food options (because in-room phone would not dial for my desk and only number provided on phone was external number ugh). After placing food order with no time frame provided, returned to room to await possible delivery if it gets to whichever area is still offering food. Too much hassle for the price. Also, pool closed at 10pmbsouseed out on that despite it being a Saturday evening.
There was definitely some confusion for our room, over booked, put 4 of us with a king room. But after it worked out everything was great.
Front desk staff amazing. Staff at pool bar were rude and not wanting to help at all, made us feel like a burden. Waitress was great when she finally came. Besides all of that it was an overall great experience! Tamaya is beautiful and we had a fabulous time there.
Disappointed- Vomit in Bed
Our family staycation was abruptly upended when we discovered vomit inside the sheets of the bed our sons slept in. Housekeeping came in, changed the sheets said nothing else. Called to talk to the manager multiple times over a week. When we finally got in contact with someone, we were accused of making the mess and implied that our 12 year old son was on his period. No accountability, no apology or proposed resolution. Extremely disappointed in one of the top rated hotels in the area to treat loyal guests with so little respect.
Beautiful property. Convenient options for kids such as horseback, bike rides and art classes. Really fun pool with a slide. Close to airport and other attractions.
Gorgeous high end resort
The hotel and grounds are so beautiful! Everything is clean and so pretty. The people are very friendly here. The food we had at the restaurant was excellent and we found all the hotel staff to be very accommodating. There is a horse rescue associated with the hotel and they put on a rodeo that was so much fun and with the beautiful sky backdrop, it just made our trip even more amazing, I highly recommend staying at this resort. The pool also has a really good slide that the kids must’ve done over 100 times!
Business Trip
The location is phenomenal. The restart itself is incredibly clean! The staff is always asking if you need assistance or anything and they are so willing to help with any request. They were so nice and patient with my daughter and were able to make accommodations for her. I attended a three day conference and the rooms were very spacious and very organized. The resort catered the food and provided to go boxes for deserts! I cannot recommend this place enough and I am ready to go back again.
Great resort!
Amazing resort, we had a great time swimming, bike riding, visiting the horse stables, and eating great food!
Service is outstanding! Amenities are fantastic! Food superb! We will be back! Spa is life changing!
Memorial Day Tradition
The staff, check-in, valet, the pool all were so friendly and helpful. Great customer service!
Hidden fees, bad customer service, b-day ruined
I came here to stay for my birthday and had a pretty disappointing experience. When I checked out I was slammed with tons of hidden fees related to my pets which I had already paid a fee for. My stay ended up being almost $175 more than it should’ve been. And this was for my birthday The hotel has a nice view but the property is overall extremely overpriced, overrated, and poorly managed. I’d expect more upgrades in the rooms for this price. The fine print does warn about a pet fee but says nothing about no cats. On top of that, the manager Joey gave me conflicting information. He said if I had just warned them I was bringing pets then it would’ve just been 75(+11 in tax lmao) so 86, which I signed a waiver for at check in. But apparently since I didn’t warn them i get an extra 172.13 because cleaning after a cat is so much harder than a dog. It just feels like I regret this whole stay now and my birthday trip was kinda ruined by this. I chose to splurge a bit too much on a hotel that wasn’t even worth it and now I don’t even have enough money in my bank account to get to Friday. I guess you have to be rich to think this is worth it. For this to be worth it you need to have an extra 300 dollars to waste no sweat. Terrible experience and I wish I could undo it. I had to pay ~$630 just for one night!!! The least you could do is be nice when you’re robbing me blind. Never staying in a bullsh/t luxury hotel again.
Beautiful place
Beautiful place to stay if you want to get away for a couple of days just fantastic the kids will love it to, swimming pool and Slide all kinds of activities and beautiful surroundings. Staff was great, helpful, courteous, friendly, wonderful couple of days
This is in ABQ but off the beaten path. You drive longer than normal off the highway and out of nowhere, you end up at a desert oasis with amenities and more.
Beautiful setting! Appetizers were delicious. All the employees were very courteous, friendly and helpful.
The stay was wonderful. The rooms were clean and the restaurants were good. Horseback riding was a fun family activity. The rooms were warm, and the thermostats seemed to do little...
One of the best resorts I’ve ever stayed at! It was quiet and relaxing. Every single room has incredible ambiance. The outdoor views are breathtaking. We did some hiking and biking and took advantage of the heated pools and hot tub. It was a bit disappointing that l the water slide was closed. We stayed two nights. After our first night, we got up early to do some outdoor activities and allow the cleaning crew to come. We returned to our room around 1pm to find it left unchecked. Then a woman knocked on our door and told us we needed to check out so they could clean the room. She had a phone with info on the guests’ rooms and their check in/check out dates. She said, “you’re checking out today so why haven’t you” I told her won’t check out was the next day and even pointed to the date shown on the phone, where it clearly stated it was the next day. She looked confused and annoyed and then asked if we wanted our room cleaned. I said yes and we left the room a few minutes later. It took them over 2 hours to get it done. It was unprofessional and rude at best. She could’ve knocked and confirmed with us when our check out date was but instead insisted on us leaving the room when we clearly weren’t supposed to. Other than this inconvenience, everything else about the resort was excellent, including the dining and drinks.
Just BLAH....
This was my 2nd experience at Tamaya. The 1st was 10 years ago and was an anniversary get away for my husband and I. That experience from what I remember was amazing. This time around I felt everything was just overpriced for what you get. Then the selection of dining options was really disappointing. My daughter and I searched the menus at the different restaurants/cafes that were available and made our decision based off what we saw on the aps. We were looking forward to the food selections we had made based off the menus we saw but once we arrived at the diner we had chosen the menu was different because the diner had been relocated to a different location on the campus. There wasn't anything on this different menu that was interesting at all. And still over priced. Campus overall required a lot of walking from the front desk to spa, to parking lot, to room especially with an MS condition.
Excellent staff.
Top Notch
Very nice stay....only one nt but will go out of our way to stay again...a rarity these days included a very ptofessional staff that actually seemed to care about their guests. Also like staying in a bit of a classy museum....privacy, secluded yet only minutes away from city, really good food, very clean, prompt attention to needs....just a top notch place to spend the night or weekend or even a week as a base to explore the historic and cultural attractions of the Santa Fe Albuauerque srea...
I live this resort. Love to learn about different cultures
This resort was amazing! The scenery was breath-taking. There was so much to do, and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely return!
No property is okay.
Gorgeous.
Stayed two nights. It’s a very dark drive through a narrow not lit road to get there , once there the property is lovely. The room was not cleaned since they clean every other day. At this price I expect my room to be cleaned. Stop using covid as an excuse to not clean.
Midway through my niece's outdoor wedding, the resort wedding coordinator descended upon us along with security, lights flashing, and demanded to know if we had permission for the wedding. We did. My niece had communicated with the coordinator directly. Only after being confronted for the disruption did she offer a reluctant apology and said there must have been some confusion over the paperwork. They sat idling in their SUV and a second security vehicle for several more minutes while we restarted the wedding and then continued loudly down the gravel road sending up a cloud of dust in their wake. When one of the wedding guests later discussed the disruption with the manager, they apologized but basically said that these things happen. It's a beautiful setting but if you want the sanctity of your ceremony and special day respected, this is not the place to go.
Small vacation getaway
It was a beautiful place, a wonderful mini vacation and everyone was friendly and helpful and it couldn't have been better!
