The Property Manager was very helpful with a hickup in my reservations and the staff was extremely courteous and professional. I am very GRATEFUL!

Pricey, but worth it

Excellent place to stay for early flights out of DFW. Just a little too pricey for most.

All of the staff were bere friendly and helpful. Rooms were very nice. Only downfall was the hours for dining and the bar. We arrived a little after 2:00 pm. The dining areas and bar were closed until 4:00 pm. Once the bar opened, food and drinks were great.

Friends trip

Our experience was amazing. Easy to get an airport shuttle to and from the hotel. Good food.

Wonderful, friendly and helpful staff. Clean, modern rooms. First Class! Arriving by car is a nightmare due to construction at the airport. Do not rely on GPS!!

Due to airport construction, accessing the property was extremely difficult and the hotel staff was NOT helpful. After a day of travel challenges, the service and attitude was very disappointing considering the price!

I did reserve here because it looks like it was inside the airport you need to take a shuttle To get here

Very convenient

Hotel is okay but connectivity is an issue for both cell service and internet in meeting areas like the ballroom don't are non existent. Its got you captive so there is nowhere to walk to for other food options but they do a decent job of having food available. Couldn't believe the lack of connectivity though for a modern business hotel.

It is an airport hotel , bathrooms are dated heating system vent above the bed blowing loud all night was an issue

The shower has cold.

The shower didn’t get hot. The washroom was Okay though.

The room was cold and we adjusted the thermostat, but it never got much warmer. Otherwise, the dining was good and shuttle service very good. Convenient to the airport.

Too expensive

The person checking us in was AMAZING! I believe her name was Jackie, but I was exhausted when we arrived after delayed and missed flight connections. I mentioned in passing we had no clean clothes, and she immediately let us know about the free laundry facility and provided a detergent package and laundry sheet. She also sent up a robe and slippers. Truly excellent service. All with an infectious smile to boot!

I stay at the Regency simply because it’s convenient for early morning flights. Otherwise, for the money, it feels like the hotel is ready to dip back in to my pocket for any little thing. I’m almost surprised the coffee is free.

Was decent for a one night stay. Could have had better signage for direction to the hotel from the airport. Good shuttle service back to airport terminal.

Airport convenience

Excellent choice for overnight airline connections.

Took 5 minutes for the hot water to get hot. The bathroom sink faucet was leaking. The bedding left much to be desired: flat pillows and a thin cover.

Shower water was only Luke warm. Bathroom sink leaked. Forget stir made clicking noise all night. Room was less than clean.

Very quite

It was super difficult to find from the airport due to construction. We called a number for the shuttle and no one answered. We could not find the place to pick up the shuttle either. Very frustrating.

Our flight was cancelled, so we have not made it to Dallas yet. Hopefully we will make it tomorrow, but just as a stopover on the way to New Zealand. No fault of the hotel, but there is no way to give an "N/A" on the rating.

Staff was nice. Rooms were WAY overpriced for a hotel with a parking garage next door where we cld hear cars opening and closing doors all night and trucks going by. Also, amenities in the room do not match the price. Cheap coffee and powdered milk and cheap towels

Long lines for checkin

Problems with the airport shuttle. The hotel did give us a free breakfast. The lighting in the room was insufficient. There was no hair dryer.

Its very dated, needs a freshen up.

Unless a person is actually handicapped And requests a handicapped friendly room, I can assure you that very few people will enjoy a first level, noisy room. Thank you to the check in staff person that brought it to my attention. I did not request it when I booked. Save those rooms for handicapped persons. That last minute walk in wheel chair bound client will appreciate it. We do not.

Nice hotel close to airport recommended by Australian friends. Thought it was odd that even though I had booked my room a week prior to arriving that when we checked in we were told the room had been booked out the previous day and was no longer available. Then told I needed to pay an extra $13US per night for a room. I had just flown 15 hours plus travel to and from airports and really didn’t feel like arguing over the $13 x 2 nights, just wanted a room key asap! Doubt I would recommend to others as a result.

Not a good hotel for connection. Breakfast was good. The room was old, but clean enough. The problem was noise & transportation for connection. The hotel was supposed to be very close to the airport, but we had to call for the shuttle and nobody picked up for the first 15 mins we tried to call, then we had to wait for the shuttle for another 15 mins and it took another 15 mins to get to the hotel. This was exhausting at 11pm in the evening. Once we checked in, There was a truck right outside our room fixing a bursted pipe. It has been going on for a while but the reception still gave us the room. By the time we checked in and unpacked, we noticed the noise and was told it will be done in half an hour. It went on until 3 am in the morning and we had a sick kid sleeping so didn’t want to wake her due to the early morning connection. Worst of all the hotel seemed like it’s next to a gate but it was not walkable - and the shuttle only run every 20 mins. Totally not worth staying at the hotel if you have less than 12 hrs connection. Will never stay here again!

Going in the wrong direction

Didn’t want to stay… happy we did!

Wasn’t planning on staying the night in Dallas, but weather and cancellations had other ideas. The staff did an amazing job of checking in hundreds of people who were travel weary, exhausted, and out of sorts, handing out bottled water, keeping the line moving swiftly, and cranking out food and drinks well into the later hours of the day. We didn’t spend much time in the room as we had an early morning flight home, but the bed was cozy, the room clean, and hospitality more than I would have expected. Hope I never have to stay here again in such circumstances, but super happy it was there when we needed it!

My flight was unexpectedly canceled, and I found this hotel nearby as a last-minute option. Despite the hotel being a bit outdated, I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and well-maintained the rooms were. The staff was friendly, and the convenience of its location made the situation much less stressful. While the decor , walls, hardware etc could use some updates, the cleanliness and comfort made for a surprisingly good stay. You had me at clean bed and clean room!! Thank you.

great way to save the day when you're stuck

It's a good place to spend the night when you've got an early flight or get stuck in Dallas due to airline problems. Very convenient, kind staff.

Very convenient place to stay. Nice and clean, staff are great and free shuttle bus is very handy.

The room felt like an overcharged motel6 and not to bash motel6 because I’ve been in motel6 rooms that were cleaner than that. What appeared to be makeup lines on the bed, fingernail clippings on the dresser with the tv, and like someone had blown their nose on the desk; and yes Hyatt, I did take photos. The stay was brief because of an unexpected layover and thank God it was.

The location is excellent, and the shuttle services are great. The on-site restaurant was amazing, too; however, the room was the worst part. The bedding is super thin, the bed is uncomfortable, and the pillows are horrible.

Was able to easily walk to the airport

This provided a quick, comfortable and safe place to catch a few hours of sleep between our flights.

Toilet was very noisy after use. Overall the hotel was dated. Over priced for its value.

After a long day of traveling all you want is a nice place and some good food and we found it! Very welcoming staff, very clean and nice. We ate at a restaurant there and had the most delicious burger. Nice quiet room too. So glad we stayed here. In the morning we had a breakfast buffet and greeted by a smiling Abigale who was friendly and sweet. Buffet was delicious!!

The rooms are pretty sizeable.

Easy parking and lots of choices to eat and drink

This hotel is well maintained and I assume it is usually quite comfortable. But it was a bit cold outside when I was there recently for an overnight stay. It was impossible to get the room warmed enough to make it comfortable and the bed covers were very thin. The food — I had both dinner and breakfast there — was very good (although dinner was marred a bit by the dominance of big screen TVs showing college sports).

We appreciated the pre-arrival emails making us feel welcome with info about free shuttle to and from airport. The hotel is very nice, hot shower with good towels and a comfortable bed. We have a very early start tomorrow so appreciate being comfortable

Second stay here as a layover to catch a flight out of DFW. Entire process was easy and friendly.

First, not an on airport hotel. It is near the airport but you have to take a shuttle, not like other airport hotels that are connected to the airport. We prepaid and reserved a king bed, but we’re out in a two queen room. The first room had a loud humming noise so they switched our room. Then we come back from dinner to unwind and watch TV and the TV doesn’t work. Would never stay here again

The check in process was one of the most unprofessional I’ve ever had. The much older woman at the counter was flirting with a very young pilot on behalf of another employee. They ignored me for several minutes and then when they did check me in were very distracted and unhelpful. Big fail.

Loved not having to worry about getting to terminal on time.

It is a cheap imitation of a fancy property. Lights were broken in our room, small pillows, no hot water for showers and inconvenient to get to amongst the DFW airport grounds. I’d try somewhere else.

This is a commuter-type hotel, not a “Wow” experience. If you understand that going in, you won’t be disappointed. At least they validate your parking ticket.
