My second trip to Kathmandu, first time in this hotel. It is amazing in every way. Buffet breakfast excellent, bed/pillows super comfortable, room clean...no complaints at all. Beautiful view of the hills from the window. Will definitely stay again.
TravellerWhile its location is a bit out of the way, the Hyatt excels at friendly luxury-hotel level customer service at half of the price of the other luxury hotels in the city (we also stayed at the Marriott on this trip and this was by far the better experience). Everyone from reception and restaurant staff to housekeeping went out of their way to ensure we had a first rate stay. It didn’t go unnoticed. We hated to leave after our week exploring the region. I know I’ll come back to Kathmandu and when I do, I’ll stay here. The staff earn all five stars and they should be incredibly proud of the service they offer at this hotel (even if it is out of the way).

TravellerAfter staying at a hotel in Thamel for 4 days with no hot water and limited electricity, I decided to treat myself to a few nights at the Hyatt Place and am so HAPPY I did! From the moment I arrived, I was in heaven - the staff were welcoming, the room was gorgeous, and best of all - HOT WATER!! The restaurant downstairs does a fantastic job at room service as well as lunch and dinner and overall, I couldn't be more pleased with my stay at the Hyatt. If and when I visit Kathmandu again, no more roughing it, I am staying at the Hyatt Place!
