TravellerTravellerNo welcoming on arrival. Staff at reception just said we are early if we wanted a room, we could pay an extra half a day. but later on another staff check us in at 1pm instead of 3pm. We booked a room for 3 people and paid for 3 people but only 2 people were allowed breakfast , we had to pay and extra 100CYN plus VAT for the third person. Most day we had to go on tours prior to breakfast and they did not even offer a take away coffee which most hotel do. The night shift staff were helpful by booking us taxi . Air con in room did not work properly on arrival. Hotel far from Beijing CBD. No tours pick up, we had to catch taxi every morning to go to Beijing CBD to join tours.

Love that there's a mall about 5mins walk from the hotel, it is huge and has many food and shopping options if you don't want to travel out. Hotel location might be a little far from the main city area, but i liked it the tranquility around the area. The nearest metro station is about 10-15mins walk through the mall nearby.
