Overall amazing experience all the way from checking im to my departure. Staff was very welcoming, location was perfect for both city life and quiet time.
Not that friendly when checking in
Nice place
Our stay was good 👍👍
Property is nice, kids loved the pool and staff was very friendly.
feel safe and quiet
Nice place. Convenient location
.
Great hotel, friendly staff and nice, clean, almost silent rooms!
The hotel itself was great, but the staff was very rude except one woman at the front desk.
Swimming pool
Convenient location
Room had hair on walls, door, floor and counter. The breakfast wasn't good. No cheese or salsa or potatos bacon.
Beautiful, clean hotel. Very friendly staff and a good continental breakfast. We definitely will be back.
My only complaint about my stay is that the traffic noise from C Street is pretty loud. I was in a room on the C Street side, and I can see how some folks would not like it. I was fine. The room was very nice, the entire hotel was very nice and the customer service was excellent.
Excellent place t to stay. Very clean and quiet. Free breakfast was the best you’re going to find anywhere. Friendly staff and easy to check in and out
This was a nice stay but what made it stand out was the attitude and friendliness of Latisha who works in the complimentary breakfast area. This girl’s great attitude brightened the breakfast experience- she chatted with everyone as she cheerfully kept everything stocked. What a great way to start the day!
Excellent
Close to the airport and nice breakfast and really nice rooms.
Everything was nice. Great free breakfast. Staff was friendly. Great quiet location.
Reception staff could not be friendlier. Room and facilities very good. About 10 taxi to downtown, the hotel itself is fairly isolated.
Nice hotel with a great lobby and clean rooms. Morning breakfast was really good.
Clean and spacious but very pricey for what you get
We stayed here the night before our Cruise. It was clean, comfortable and the staff was very friendly. I’d highly recommend staying here. They didn’t have many dining options, but there was a nice restaurant across the street.
The pullout sofa is not comfortable, other than that its a nice place.
Betty close to airport! Easy access to downtown
Loved the rooms only one bar tender wasn’t the friendly at all had a bad attitude not good for business other wise the other people on staff was delightful
It’s close to the airport. The room is spacious, clean and modern.
We stayed here after a cruise. It was so roomy and great to be able to spread out after a small cruise cabin. Breakfast was also much better than your normal hotel breakfast. The only complaint we had, was that we were on the street side of the hotel, and it definitely was loud from the street noise. Looking back now, when we checked in, she did ask us if we have a preference of what side of the hotel. So, if you’re reading this, specify when you check in! But we would absolutely stay here again as it was one of the best “en-route” hotels we’ve stayed at.
This property was probably the Cats neow back in the day. Needs updating and ammenities fixed.
The staff were amazing!! More than willing to help.
The room was spacious, clean, and appointed well. We could not adjust the heat though.
Friendly staff
I am having hip replacement surgery in a couple of weeks and have trouble walking very far. The manager allowed the airport shuttle driver to take us to a nearby restaurant. The driver asked how long we would be and said he would be off by then but would come back to get us. We had been flying all day and were tired and this really made a long day great! 🙏
We only checked in at 12am, and the staff were still friendly & helpful. Would definitely recommend!
The bed was not cleaned from the prior guest, the dirty bedding was just remade and passed off as clean. We had to request new linens and make the bed up ourselves. Not what you would expect for the price.
Great breakfast and beautiful hotel. Great staff. Free shuttle to airport. One of the best stays we had. We would highly recommend.
Good location. Nice clean and efficient hotel With friendly staff.
We enjoyed the convenient location to the airport for the last day of our Alaska vacation. Dinner in old town Anchorage is a quick drive due north - easy to find downtown and restaurants and breweries. Breakfast at the hotel in the morning is complete and satisfying making this a super place to launch from.
Large room
Hyatt House
It was a bad start waiting at the airport for the scuttle for like 45 minutes! We were given the wrong info three times!! Eventually got to the hotel and was treated excellent after that! Thank you
after paying $100’s for the stay. I find it ridiculous that we have to pay for bottled water.all the hotels said we had to pay or if we were elite etc to receive it for free.
Nice hotel & staff. 3 minutes from airport. Clean and great breakfast. Had a great night's sleep.
Excellent staff clean great food
Employees were very friendly and helpful
Flying in? Flying out? Here’s the place!
What a great gem when flying in or out of Anchorage! Service from staff was impeccable, the room was amazing! The sofa is so comfortable and the bed too! It’s quiet, well appointed and has everything ya need.
Convenient location near airport, con is that the location is very loud. Street noise is very loud.
Quiet, great breakfast and dining area, nice room.
Superb
Good
Nice place 👍
NA
WAY OVERPRICED tourist gouge
This hotel is literally more than double the rates in the summer time when the cruise ships are in town. Rooms literally start at $450 a night. This, I might add, is for a room that is normally $200, which is a little closer to what it might be worth. $450 for a room where the air conditioner literally clicks on and is so loud it wakes you up in the middle of the night. And this is after you have finally gotten to sleep from the sound of the roaring cars that run right beside the hotel. The beds are moderately comfortable but certainly not $450 worth. Flimsy douvet, scratchy sheet and lumpy mattresses. I might feel a little less bitter if the room only was $200. But at $450 my expectations were definitely not met.
Very disappointing stay
Reception staff was very unprofessional at all times and did not seem to care for hosts except for Amber. Kitchen seemed to be always shortstaffed. From our 3-night stay our room was NOT made TWICE in spite of our request! Unacceptable for what we payed.
Best check in experience
Excellent customer service at check in. We appreciate the upgrade and late check out since our flight was late in the afternoon. Thank you!!!
Like having your own little appt!
The staff was amazing! We arrived about 1 AM and the desk girl explained everything that would happen once we had our luggage at the airport. The shuttle driver was there quickly and was a really fun guy. He talked to everybody in the shuttle and made us all welcome before we even hit the property. Late night check-in was great, and we were even able to get a late check out. The property was fine, had a microwave and the bathroom was very nice. Of course we just slapped, but it was great. The staff is what really pushed it over the edge for us .
Only thing I didn't like was the noise. It sounded like a window was open and the highway was whizzing by all night.
This property is not far from the airport. The driving directions are easy. However, finding the actual hotel was just a little bit tricky for me. The driveway was not as well marked as I would have liked. The staff was friendly and check-in was smooth and easy. There was plenty of parking. There's breakfast served in the morning for free. It was very well done with a variety of hot and cold items. I would recommend this hotel for short stays. I'm not sure that I would be super comfortable here for long periods of time, but the weekend I was here was good. One thing that I would have liked to see in the room was more information about the hotel itself like the Wi-Fi password or just the usual paperwork that comes in the room that talks about what's available in the hotel, I didn't see any of that. If you're given a choice between the view and quiet, The view really is very good. However, there's a fair amount of road noise from the main Street outside the hotel. So if noise is a problem, you'll need to skip the view.
Helpful and friendly
Hggg
This was a nice hotel. Great room and food and a bar downstairs. Manager was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing. The best one I’ve had in a hotel. So much variety
Loved that it was a suite. Had so much room and furnished very nice. Very impressed with the cleanliness of the suite, especially the bathroom. Wish all hotels were as nice.
Very nice hotel. The only item that I am not happy with is the bathroom lights. They are too bright. There is only one switch that turns on every lights in shower and sink area.
Great stay!
They stored our box of fish in their freezer overnight. Nice small plate dinner. Good breakfast. Large comfortable room.
Good central location.
Good
Good for a 3 star hotel, however, I did not come to Anchorage for the room. The property was clean. They offer a nice breakfast buffet in the morning for guests. I would recommend to family and friends.
Cleanliness but cost too much
It was good and clean.
The staff where rud since we checked in. During the afernoon I tried to change by my self the TV channel to a soccer game and I was yelled in a very rude manner by a staff member.
Sofa bed is too soft.
The room was good with 2 beds. They close their breakfast bar at 9:30 AM even though they say 10:00 AM which was a big inconvenience so hope they fix that. Easy parking was convenient.
The rooms were big and spacious. The staff were friendly acommodating. I highly recommend this hotel.
This was just a stay close to the airport and it served out purposes just fine. Room was clean and large enough not to feel cramped. Bonus, kids enjoyed a morning swim at their indoor pool before a long car ride! Breakfast included but not great quality.
We only stayed one night but would recommend as a great place to stay.
Staff was excellent
Large very nice room.
Really nice room layout and great room amenities
Nice rooms and good breakfast
Expensive for one night and the guy At the front desk was upset I asked for an extra trash bag.
Clean, spacious, great breakfast and staff. Not much to do around the area.
All staff very helpful and nice. Rooms were wonderful and clean
The staff was kind and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable.
Hotel is very nice and close to airport and the few dining choices in this town….which is very important in Alaska. Very few quality restaurants anywhere in the city or the state.
As described
Very disappointed. I booked 1 day stay because i was arriving in town early in the morning after a cruise, and my flight home wasn't until later that evening. I called the hotel after making the booking, to make sure i could have a late check-in and late checkout to fit my schedule. The attendant was very nice and said he put a note in the reservation stating what time i would be arrving and leaving. Check-in was fine, but then normal checkout time comes, and they are calling my room asking if I'm ready to leave. I explained my situation, and was told they would only allow those arrangments for an Elite member, which I'm not. So now, I'm already checked in, too late to cancel and get a different hotel, but they won't let me use a room for 7 hours when I'm paying full rate. To bad you need to be an Elite member to get basic customer service. Never using Hyatt again.
Okay Stay
Okay stay. Lovely breakfast. Price of room was a lot. Had to ask for towels, toilet paper and garbage removal daily as no one came by the room.
Great Stay with One Hiccup
All was great except that someone was able to open our door (without knocking first), a quick sorry and left, while we were in the room about 40 minutes after our check-in. The front desk, Tyler, had no idea how that could happen (whether it was a staff or a guest) but made a note for the management. The manager next morning, Amber, gave the answer that it was a guest who was given the wrong room/key but assured us that our room was safe and no one else had the keys to our room. I wasn't totally convinced but couldn't do anything.
I rated this poor because at check in the staff removed my Expedia payment information and they wanted to charge me unless I contacted Expedia to get the information they deleted. It took 40 minutes to get Expedia to agree to contact the hotel. The issue is not fully resolved yet but I hope it will be soon.
The quality of room , staff and breakfast were exceptional - above expectations for this genre. Will be looking for Hyatt House for future travel.
This hotel was very clean and comfortable and modern.
Window blinds were broken, lots of traffic noise. Breakfast was good.
Way overpriced! In a four night stay, we had maid service once. The breakfast buffet was on par with a $130 per night motel. The breakfast fruit was frozen! Very disappointing!
tout est impeccable , personnel , piscine , chambre , petit dejeuner
Decent hotel but expensive, needs updates
Hotel was clean but our shower looked like it needed to be cleaned. Overall the hotel room needed a deep clean and things replaced. The drapes/blinds were definitely dirty and needed to be replaced as there was rips in them. The bed was rather uncomfortable and felt that it actually sloped to the edge when you laid down. The pillows were so thin that it took all 3 to give support. Overall, a one night stay is ok, but for the money it was not worth it. Anchorage is a destination place, so finding a good hotel is hard. Staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. Main lobby and halls were clean and looked ok.
The staff were very supportive and the breakfast was hot and delicious with a good choice of items for everyone.
Horrible Bed!
The bed needed to be replaced several years ago!
