Very nice hotel, friendly staff, convenient location

Hua fang jin Lin hotel

It is a Chinese type of 5 star hotel but is approaching international standard in some aspect. Food is good here, especially the Japanese restaurant. But carpet of the floor is a bit dirty and AC noise a little loud. Detail of the renovation is not up to the standard of the international 5 star. But the service is good here, the staffs are kind and helpful.

Great food, bed, everything perfect. This is the place to stay if if you are going to this town.

Probably the best hotel in town, close to amenities, transport and commercial district. Hotel clean and good size rooms, good restaurants and facilities in general. Will come back here on any other business trip.

Good stayp

I stayed there for two nights during a local business trip. Although alightly older, the hotel is nice and has a lovely Japanese restaurant within the hotel. Plenty of staff speak English and both western and chinese breakfasts were available at the huge buffet.

Good buffet for breakfast

Excellent place. Clean and comfortable. Staff are extremely helpful. The dinner buffet is not so great but there are a few other restaurants to choose from. No ATM in hotel but it's just across the street.

The room was good enough, although it might be small and not so good as a 5-star hotel one might expect.

I don't like certain recipient's attitude in the lobby. Rude.

room smelt abit and the place was a bit old and dirty. the swimming pool changing room was pretty grobby.otherwise ok.

Very nice hotel

I stayed for 8 days. Was concerned before I came to China from India regarding the hotel staff to communicate in English. But I didn not find any difficulty communicating my needs. Very pleasant hotel in city centre.

Clean and comfortable

The only negative about this hotel is that the temp is just a couple degrees too warm.

Overall a good experience, a nice & pleasant stay

Everything was a good experience except conversation with the staff as their room service, housekeeping and other people hardly understands English. They are also little bit confused on their minibar services whether the items are free or chargeable they really don't have any such policy to make every guest understand it

Comfortable but strict

The room was very comfortable, with soft beds and a nice bathroom. The hotel breakfast is great. The only downside is you must wear a swim cap to swim in the pool.

Great Hardware - Poor Software

Booked through Expedia and at check in they could not find my booking. Lots of phone cals and confusion. Asked me if I wanted a smoking room though I booked a non-smoking room and even have one of their loyalty cards which specifies non-smoking. Very average staff at the front desk.

Excellent Hotel

We were given a room on the 11th floor when we checked in to the hotel. When we arrived at our room, we were dismayed to find the bad condition of the carpets and furnitures. We called the front desk to ask to have us move to another room and within minutes, a manager came up to our room with an attendant and helped move us to a newly renovated room. Once we moved, our stay turned out to be excellent. Breakfast had numerous excellent choices and the hotel is walking distance ( 5 long blocks) to People street. The concierge is very helpful. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

decent hotel in Zhangjiagang area

Overall I like it. Some up keep of carpet may make it better. Food at the hotel was acceptable but not the best especially the buffet type. Hotel location is fairly convenient and only one block to the long distance bus stop accessible to Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Internet was a bit slow.

Great Location

Warning: when you book through Internet please make sure that the hotel did not double charge the room again, because it happens to me. The hotel nearly charge the room again when I already paid for the room through the internet. The bed is very hard and hard to sleep when the bed is like a rock.

電梯內會天花會滴水下，酒店内泳池空气唔好，可能無開冷氣，如此酒店有五星级，要有很多地方改善才能吸引人客來住。

Good breakfast, generous rooms but a bit worn. Business rooms are in better condition. Flaky and bad internet connection. No chance of using Viber, Facetime, Skype or other via Phone.

例年になく寒い冬に行ったためか、暖房の効きが弱く、また風呂はバスタブに湯を溜めてもシャワーも温かくなく寒かったです。 ホテルは特に水回りの傷みが激しいです。 セキュリティボックスは壊れていましたが、すぐ交換してくれました。 朝食は種類が豊富でしたが、広くて暖房の効きが弱いです。ホテルの立地はとてもいいです。
