Spread out. Went for the ground floor room. Plenty of pool options and lay out options including on the beach! Great steaks and burgers! Slow bag delivery but other than that hiccup the resort was very nice. Walk to Market Village.
Second time back, has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing holiday with out going to far.
The staff was extremely helpful and amazing! Thank you for the wonderful stay!
Very relaxing and safe environment. Excellent service. Thumbs up to all the staff.
Great beachfront restaurant
Had a great time at their restaurant, The Big Fish. Food great, staff even better. Thank you Nat and Olive for making our time their so good. We had a great time!
Very pleasant and relaxing
Highly recommend to anyone coming to Hua Hin, great place for families with children.great service, super nice accommodations.
Impressive resort with beautiful accommodations and superb staff. I would most definitely stay there again.
The Marriott Hua Hin Resort & Spa never disappoints! This was our second visit to this resort. We were so impressed with all aspects of this resort when we visited last year we decided to return this year. Upon arriving, checking in was a breeze. They had a horse mascot walking around which was great for keeping our son occupied while we checked in. Our room was beautiful and was in immaculate condition with an incredible view of the sea. The resort is taken care of very well, everything looks almost brand new still even though the resort has been opened for a few years now. After settling in, our wanted to go the Kids Club, which we remembered from his last visit. Upon arriving at the Kids Club, we were greeted by Satang and was shown the new check in procedures, which was super convenient. A few minutes later, Nat arrived and surprisingly remembered us from our visit a year ago! I remembered her, but I was not expecting her to remember me! The Kids Club is an invaluable benefit of staying here. My wife and I took the opportunity to pamper ourselves at Quan Spa. I would like to thank Nual, Koong and Orn at Quan Spa for an incredible spa experience. The services they provided left us relaxed and refreshed. We had dinner at Big Fish, which is located in the resort. We were taken care of by Thip, Olive and Chef Tae. The food was amazing and the service was great! Thank you Aof at the front desk for accommodating us so we could go to the spa one more time before departing.
Room service was poor. It took them 30 minutes to tell me the wine was out of order and another 15 minutes to check available stock.
I like the landscape of the hotel; I like the design of the swimming pool.
Great location , staffs are friendly and efficient, nice room
Very Nice with Unpleasant checking BIBI
Overall the resort is amazing. However at the checkin the lady by the name BIBI was extremely unprofessional. She charged breakfast for 3 yrs old and was very poor in communication with the guests. Surprised how mariott could keep someone like her to take care of the guests.
Staff services very friendly and helpful.
Swimming pool bed is quite dirty.
So far everything good.
Just stay there.
Great hotel with beautiful lobby and dining halls. Could not have asked for better. Wonderful staff. A quiet visit over places like Pattaya or Phuket, but that’s exactly what we wanted.
Nice resort! Good for family and kids
Great property, great staff, and great service
Nice hotel, and what you would expect from a Marriott resort. It would have been cool if there was a current in the lazy river, but my child loved all the pools nonetheless. Very quick and easy walk through the resort to the beach. The food is quite pricey, so I didn't partake, and it's a bit of a walk to most nearby restaurants.
My first night in the hotel I stayed in a room which was not a pool view. It was a room at the end of the complex which faced a stairwell. The staff told me the room picture showed the standard room 39 sqm King, but acknowledged it was not the pool view. The hotel changed my room on the second day. I was disappointed the room was not the same one which showed the pictures on Expedia. It was a challenge to explain this to the night shift manager. They acted as though it was the fault of Expedia and didn’t want to fix the problem until I threatened them with a bad review. It should have been easier for them to understand, but instead I had to show the.pictures, show the the room description, and after 45 minutes of talking they finally agreed to change my room but not until the next day. Also, the restaurant doesn’t know the difference between medium rare and well done steaks. Steak was over cooked.
We had a great time here. The loop pool was fantastic and the beach outside the hotel was very well maintained. I also managed to join a Yoga and a Tai Chi class and both were great. We tried two restaurants in the resort - Siam Bakery and Big Fish & Bar. We loved the breakfast in Siam Bakery. The food was great and very reasonably priced. However, I think Big Fish & Bar was a bit over priced. Another thing that was a bit disappointing was the Kid’s Club. It’s much smaller than I expected and was always packed with children. I’d recommend wearing a mask when in the Kid’s club.
Half board package is a little misleading. I booked via Expedia and signed up for the half board. When I arrived at the resort, the check in consultant tried to sign us up for half board for my daughter at a cost of 1500bht per day. My daughter probably ate around 300-400bht worth of food. Booking implied queen size beds, we received two single beds which was not ideal. Overall experience was good, breakfast could be improved though.
liked that there was an area for adults
Nice property with gym, sauna, children and adukt pool separated. Room has a hanging closet, 2 drawers, 3 canbinet for storing clothing, not enough for 10 days stay. There is one nightstand. The other side is a table. Location is great.
Located the prime location of Hua Hin, walking destination to Market Village. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of food varieties. Staff with good and sincere service. Environment is safe and offer a lot of pool access to couples, family and kids. Recommend for Family with kids to enjoy this resort
Our stay was amazing! Well above our expectations! Every staff member we met was warm and welcoming. We were amazed at the attention our young son got from all the staff. Truly a family friendly resort. The services provided by the kids club are invaluable. The attention to detail in every aspect of the resort down the housekeeping is incredible. The experience we had while dining at the seafood bbq on the beach put our stay over the top! We were taken care of by “Korn” the entire night. He anticipated our every need through out the night and even was so kind to offer us to call and golf cart to take us back to our room. Completely unexpected as I thought services like that are reserved for high paying clients staying in suites and above. My wife got a bit sunburned the day before she wanted to visit the spa on our last day however we were worried about the check out time. “Nan” at the front desk was super helpful and accommodating and was able to extend our check out time so that my wife could visit the spa for a sunsoother treatment before we departed the resort. Lastly, the food was amazing regardless of where we ate through the resort. We will be staying here for all future trips to Hua Hin. Thank you so much! Thank you Korn! Thank you Nan!
I stayed at a couple of hotels at Hua Hin and they were distinctly different. What stands out is the impeccable service from the staff at Marriott Hua Hin. The hotel grounds is extensive, and the highlight of the hotel is the number pools with one that surrounds the buildings. There is a huge slide and a big water playground which is a plus for the families to spend their time here. Because of the meandering pools, you see several arches which is quite steep for walking. There are buggies to bring guests around if this is of an issue. I feel this hotel is quite built up and difficult to get around because of the slopes and meandering layout. Though I finally figured out the shortcut after taking the buggy on one occasion. The hotel adopts a more traditional dark wood furnishing. The Guest Rooms are luxurious even though it is a beach resort. I like the little things they add which you know they really gave thought into delighting the guest - thank you gift, beach slippers, beach bag. And when you are at the pool, they will come by with ice water. They give out floats on a first come first serve basis. My only wish is that they could add a shuttle service to the nearby malls.
Perfect stayed! All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—walking distance to the mall. My 7-year-old enjoyed the access pool room, and the kids club is just perfect for her. The service is the best. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
The most beautiful rooms and hotel. Excellent service. Top.
This resort is very pretty and they have 5 swimming pool, my kids love to stay and play in this resort, facing the sea, walk down to the beach is so convenient. we forgo some activities in huahin, just to enjoy in this resort. bed very comfortable, they have a kids play club room.
Beautiful property with new and modern rooms. Very well laid out property.
Hua Hin break
Had a pleasant 3 nights stay. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our only complaints are food. Buffet breakfast is average nothing really appealing to us. Dinner at big fish not satisfied as meals is overpriced
Hua Hin Break
Extremely pleasant 3 night stay. Very well managed and modern resort with staff concentrating on cleanliness and covid prevention measures. Excellent facilities for families and adults.
Very comfortable stay with excellent dining options.
LT SHOES
We had wonderful relaxing holiday staying at Marriot Hua Hin. My only. complaint is 1 morning ordered eggs benedict and they were cold and I am not a fan of there coffee. Other than that it was GREAT.
friendly, and communicative
Jist excellent.
Really
Nice place in huahin
The pool area was good. The beach was nice. The gym was small and poorly equipped. The dining facilities were completely inadequate for the number of people that stay there.
Family vacation
Very well on this trip
My stay at the hotel was amazing. The beach was very clean and the pool was big.
Property was noisy and crowded with families and kids running all over the place. Also, a long wait before checking in and there was a line again of families and noisy kids for breakfast buffet. Not my kind o hotel, I'll go back to Hilton. Reminded me of a summer camp, not a relaxing place to stay and enjoy the amenities. Canceled stay after one night.
I do not wish to write a review. This should not be a requirement to register feedback.
This hotel has very good service and so luxury. I’ll be back soon.
Before booking the staff did not inform us that the fitness center was closed because of Covid-19 restrictions.
Perfect stay Very comfy bed and pillow Will come back again
Everything is perfect. especially for a family trip
Rest walking beach
Beautiful beach. The pools are varied and well maintained. Room was big and clean. There is lots to walk to outside the hotel and we enjoyed exploring the neighborhood
Room was super clean and all amenities were first class
Great resort with deluxe service standards
Great resort. service from front desk, staff at the restaurants were great and attentive. I would definitely go back.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Recommended for families with kids.
Hotel Slider
It is really a treat to stay here, being in Thailand they are doing a fantastic job! The staff are wonderful and very friendly.
Always a good option in Hua Hin
Second stay here Very nice rooms and facilities. Great location. Proper coffee making machine in rooms would be a better option than instant coffee.
Service and Staffs is fantastic. Clean and suitable to stay during holiday
Beautiful room decor. Comfortable bed and pillows. Huge TV. Good minibar. Dedicated adult pool. Beach front
This was my second time stay here. Always love the pool, It really good for kids. Also the service always the best. All the worker will smile and asking what you need. Definitely recommend.
Great value for money. Pros: big & stylish room, a lot of pools Cons: average food quality Beware that this is a family-oriented hotel, it can get very noisy around the pools on busy days
This was a very clean and comfortable resort. The rooms are good size with good TV and selection of channels to choose from. Large pools and the sea to also enjoy. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and I would definitely stay here again. Also a very short walk to the Market Village Mall, with lots of places to eat.
Rude front desk staff...
The front desk was confusing at check-in....RUDE at Checkout!!!
At least two members of staff at Amber Kitchen was new to the job - two staff in particular in charge of the skewers and noodle soup were taking pictures of each other while guests were standing and waiting. Noodles were either undercooked or overcooked without an apology by the cook. Not the type of service I’d expect from Marriott. More vegetarian or halal meat options would be nice
Perfect
Great overall
Great trip. Fantastic staff, clean pool area and interesting pool layout Negative: no steps take to prevent people hogging poolside cabanas; limited bar menu at Pool Bar after 5pm and BigFish is overpriced
Hotel ok but disappointed with Quan Spa
Went to the spa - thought this was not great actually. Got a manicure and for the price in Thailand, the selection of nail polishes was absurdly small. My pedicure was messed up when the woman put on my sandal and didn't try to fix it. I got a massage also and was "gifted" a candle of the same scent, which of course was added as an overall fee. I was made to sign it right away and saw this and thought - it's fine I'm on holiday, but it did make it so I did not partake in any Quan spa services at other Marriott hotels during my stay in Thailand.
All except a Concierge staff who was unfriendly, A complaint to duty manager appears to have made it worse.
We had an amazing time at the Marriott. The hotel and all its facilities were spotless, the staff were amazing and so was the food. We can’t wait to come back next year. Thank you for a wonderful stay and we’re looking forward to seeing you again next year!
Hotel had everything you needed, the Adult Pool was a very relaxing way to spend an afternoon. Beach front bar was a great way to watch the sun set with a lovely cold beer. Staff all friendly and attentive a great experience
WOW! Had a most enjoyable, restful family vacation. Pool looped around the garden (central part of the hotel), kids loved the 2 slides. There is a separate adult pool/ area as well. Beach is located a few steps away from hotel and there is a security guard to ensure safety/privacy of hotel guests. Hotel room clean and well decorated. Buffet spread is awesome - from western to local food. Hotel is walking distance to a mall with lots of food and shopping options.
Stayed for one week and found the resort to be a great experience. The service and food was great and the facilities were all exceptionally clean.
Love the swimming pool, breakfast was good, wish they have bath tub in the room
Everything is great as always but having room on the top floor walk and run around at night time 10pm onwards was very annoying. Requesting to be on the top floor or away from those who do not have manner at night time is strongly recommended.
Great family resort with amazing service. Rooms perfectly appointed, brilliant breakfast with a large range of options. Fantastic hotel all round whether as a couple, group or family
The fitness room was good the swimming pool was great
Fantastic
Absolutely amazing hotel with great staff and fantastic swimming pools.
Missing the wow moment factor Check in fine. No issues. Same as check out. Good points: Gardens immaculate. Drinking water by pool was a nice touch. Rooms are good with all necessary items and comfortable. Kids Club: Very small kids club with limited space and most activities are art based paying. Needs more kids activities that other resorts do much better in such as: night lizard hunt walk, pool time play, treasure hunt, kids disco and dinner, dress up parties, kids paper boat and race making. These are just to name a few. The Marriott sadly falls way below other family resorts when it comes to kids activities. Breakfast: Very catered to Chinese guests which is understandable there are many Chinese guests but as i explained to the junior chef a little more care toward the American owned Marriott brand would be good. They could offer some more European options such as crepes, better cheese and salami, Yakult, Different yoghurt and cereals, quiche, fritata, papaya and more fruit selection, Dips, more smoothies even dumplings! Room: Booked the highest floor sea facing view. Room was spacious as it's one of the more expensive rooms. However the noise from the main road was unbearable to sleep through. Ambulances and noisy traffic forced us to move to a room towards the back of resort by the beach. This was much quieter. So note if you are a light sleeper don't waste more money for sea view.
the swimming pool and beach facilities is very nice
Love everything about this hotel - so stylish and well managed. I would go back to hua hin just to enjoy it.
Beautiful hotel. Rooms are fabulous. Amenities, landscape, service all superb. Well done.
Everything is simply perfect
We had a wonderful stay there, my girl swam 3 days in the pools during our 5 days of stay, nothing I could add to express how she likes the hotel. My wife also spent a memorable birthday celebration with the help and arrangement by the staff there. So no doubt I strongly recommend all friends to pick this resort in Hua Hin
This is my second time staying in Hua Hin Marriott, always is my first choice for holiday in Thailand. A little bit crowd may be due to the summer holiday. Overall is extraordinarily good.
Pretty new hotel. Nice pool for kids. Not enough dinning outlets and the kid’s club could be improved.
Fabulous resort. Pool area awesome for kids and families. Spotlessly clean, generous rooms. Comfy beds. Great buffet breakfast in the main restaurant. Beach is lovely too. Couldn’t have asked for more for our family holiday.
Great time at Hua Hin
We had a lovely time during our stay at Hua Hin Marriott, service was excellent and courteous.
Wonderful Stay
Hotel room is clean and comfortable. Seaview was nice. Playground was fun (even though my children are in their teenage years) Have a good varieties of food from different cultures for breakfast. Friendly staffs, always smiling. We checked in late at night and were very tired, but She still gave us a very warm welcome (forgot to get her name). But one unpleasant thing is how easily you can hear the traffic from the room. Overall is a wonderful stay.
Very enjoyable trip.. service was excellent Will stay here again.. except book a room with private pool access
Bobby, the Indian chef was great. Very good Indian food prepared by the chef Bobby.
Very nice property. Nice pool and beach view. Very poor buffet and extremely overpriced. Do not book this with your reservation. We asked for a refund/credit and were told "this is not possible". We also asked for a rollaway bed - and that was going to cost 2,500 baht (which is almost the same price of the room). The pool closes at 7 PM and the bar closes at 10 PM. If you want calm, peace, and quiet, this is not the right hotel in Hua Hin.
Perfect stay
Great service, nice location and the pool is awesome.
Staff are extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. Very comfortable & clean room as well as surroundings
Best family resort imaginable!
We loved everything about the Marriott Hua Hin. We normally love to explore but we were so happy at the resort we didn't even leave the property the whole stay. The rooms are fantastic in regards to layout, amenities, cleanliness and decor. The entire staff is friendly and warm. The property is gorgeous with so many child friendly options. The beach is pristine and warm and the food is spectacular. We had a fantastic visit!
Beautiful kept resort right on the beach. More expensive than many hotels but well worth it. The staff were all fantastic.
Nice luxury hotel. Breakfast and food was the best since staying in Thailand.
Excellent in all aspects. Perfect location, wonderful breakfast, comfortable room with a nice view, excellent staff.
Excellent in all aspects. Perfect location, wonderful breakfast, very comfortable room with a nice view, extremely polite and well trained staff.
Great!!brilliant !!
Best spot in Thailand
Second stay here in 6 months, service is impeccable. Resort is next level
We stayed 5nights on this reservation. We requested a room in a quiet location as my husband needed rest. The hotel put us in a building that is one building away from the children’s pool, the slide, and play area so that the screams from excitement and playing is at a distance. However, there was no escape. Since the pool lagoons surrounded each buildings that goes all around the property hugging all buildings. It’s perfect for family playgrounds, not for couples who’s looking for retreat, rest and relaxation like we did. There is a adult swimming pool, but that is still not far enough to lessen the sounds of screaming kids in the kids zone, and in the lagoons. It’s like being in the Water Park. We couldn’t enjoy sitting out in the balcony, or going to adult pool. The hotel did what they could to accommodate our needs when they have available room by moving us to the front building, with our approval first, which we did. We had the sea view, far away from the screaming children with some traffic noise. But we were happy they made efforts and were empathetic with our plight. We had suggested that they could section off the surrounding lagoons to be adults and children section. It is too bad that couples like us, will not be able to enjoy the facilities fully for the reasons I mentioned. We also suggested that they have an acknowledgment for parents to correct and supervise their children in public areas on the issues. The service staff are all wonderful.
