Kind staff and excellent value

This hotel is fantastic value for money. Trying new foods is an important holiday experience for me. I booked the free breakfast option, this offered many options for both asian and european diets. The coffee shop on the grou d floor offered a small but nice selection of sandwiches, cakes and pastries while the meal options came in at a similar price to the 'hole in the wall' eateries at Chow Kit. Staff were consistently pleasant and helpful and eapecially kind when our travel plans were altered slightly. Best of all the hotel was easy to find as it is directly under the monorail. The area between the Chow Kit monorail station and the hotel is a little sketchy at night so if you are cautious about such things carrying on to the next station (linked to the quill mall) then walking back to the hotel will feel safer than getting off at chow kit. Internet access can be a bit patchy, especially if your phone is old and you are on the higher floors.

As budget stays go, WP is a solid choice. Chow Kit can be a bit noisy at night, and the hotel food is good if unspectacular. But the rooms are clean and have partial views of the towers, the rooftop pool is really nice, the location is convenient to shopping, eating, and trains, and it's an inexpensive stay. Recommended.

Just dissapointment with toilet door which sliding door can’t closed properly and noisy for glass door inside also make me annoyed. Also the swimming pool the water so dirty and like not replace the new water. Just not like last time I came.

Overall the stay was good, close to tram and train. Booked a harbor view room, but surrounding buildings were too high and window was really dirty.

I have booked room for 4 days and hotel is in very good location and walkable distance from twin towers Loved the infinity pool and the view is really good, go for it u really loves it.

My stay in the WP, Kuala Lumpur, was very good and memorable esp with Anika who works on check-in. Anika is very confident, knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant and also noticed is a great team member. Doubtless to say, the team was also very helpful and interaction among the group was rather welcoming.

Clean and comfortable hotel in a central location

A pleasant stay in a comfortable room, with just a short walk to monorail or hop on bus stops for exploring Kuala Lumpur in all directions. There was also a very nice rooftop inifinty pool but we didn’t have time to enjoy this as there was so much to do in the city in a short stay (recommend bird park, butterfly garden and botanical gardens!)

room clean, but aircond are bad. as good as no aircond. Service counter can't print receipt whereas other hotel can. very unprofesional.

Comfortable stay in a convenient location.

Bed is comfortable. A/C is working but can’t adjust the temperature. TV has only very few channels. Location is excellent. The Chow Kit market 2 blocks away has all kinds of fruits at incredible prices. There is hawker stall of Asian breakfast food just few blocks away.

I booked for a room with a king bed unfortunately I was given a room with 2 single beds bcs the rooms are all full already. But that's fine overall I love this hotel and ive checked in twice.

Previous stay and also 3rd March just now, this hotel never disappoint me. This is my fourth times experience, I really enjoyed my stay. All the facilities are in good condition and overall the services given also excellent.

No Hot Shower

I did have hot shower from 3pm to the next day morning at 8am. I have called the reception, Housekeeping and Maintenance multiple times but they could fix it. I wanted to grab a shower before my evening meeting, I couldn't. I came back from my meeting, I couldn't get a decent shower. I didn't pay for taking cold shower in a 4 stars hotel.

Disappointed, not a 4-star hotel

Nice pool. Good location. Nice view. Nearby 7-11. Be aware of extra tourism tax of RM10/night charged upon check in. Our triple room is small, bed sheets are dirty, blood stains on sheets and lots of bugs (not sure if they are bed bugs but they are bloody). Toilet is shaky and shower leaks. These issues were brought to the manager but nothing was done. Unlikely will come back.

Best Rooftop Pool in town for the money

Pretty good location Room has all u need... 40% of them have a view Checkin was easy... Checkout they give u a giant receipt in an envelope that seems useless The pool and view from the roof is awesome... the city is booming so the picture they use of the pool actually has a few new buildings infront of the petronas towers but u can still see alot of them Worse thing about our stay was listening to the same 5 songs on loop at the pool bar... please fix this WP!!!

Toilet & Noise

Toilet cleanliness is bad shower room dirty alot of hair and black dirty. Room is noise window not sound proof results noise of public transport is really disturbing sleep time. Lastly to look into staff grooming and uniform Otherwise generally great location and nice hotel

LOW PRICE BUT HIGH QUALITY OF SERVICES

This is my third stay at this hotel, all the facilities provided are in good conditions. The best part is they have a very nice of rooftop pool that facing the view of KL Tower and KLCC. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Marvelous and comfortable stay, it would be better if extra pillows are provided. Beautiful scenery at the rooftop facing the Twin Towers and Kuala Lumpur tower.

The hotel is affordable and value for money, clean and close to malls. The Infinity pool with KLCC & Menara KL background view was awesome.

It’s really worth for money and convenient to move around KL.

A very pleasant stay, a great room, decent location, nothing bad to say. Room spacious, spotless, and very luxurious for the price paid. Breakfast not included so didnt eat at the hotel, but the in house cafe looked good.

DAMP SMELL TOILET, 'WARM' AIR-CONDITIONING

Everything seem just alright when first arriving at the hotel, staff at the parking area managed to direct well for alternative parking given the parking lots provided by hotel full. Reception speed and check-in was just ok as nothing much expected initially. The bad experience came right after we entered the room. Damp smell from the toilet which is just beside the entrance that basically had the room surrounded with the smell. Glass door for the shower area got me shocked when I closed the door, a big 'cracked' sound from the joint! Air-condition in the room is basically a super big problem. It seem like never get cool, even after 6hours of blowing until morning with the lowest temperature setting. Terrible experience I would say given air-condition is a basic thing for a closed window room. Didn't request room change as I was totally exhausted after long drive and early morning meeting. Sad case that I learned Hotel WP seem like a new hotel around the area but giving such condition to their guest.

Very nice view of the twin tower

The hotel is close to many places of interests and very accessible by public mode. Lots of great food nearby especially the iconic kampung Baru food haven for Malay cuisines.

No smile of receptionist girl

Receptionist girl no smile at all . No manners . When checkout . She just put letter of return deposit and pen on table and not say anything to me for sign . Then when I sign . She just tke bck my letter then return my deposit tht all. without smile n thanks.

Excellent value

Great value, friendly and professional staff. They upgraded my room as they had run out of the type I booked. I was on 8th floor, Lifts in good condition and fast. Rooftop infinity pool has great views of the city. Breakfast (£4) was good with decent coffee. I enjoyed my stay :)

Value for money

The room was good enough for the two of us but the only problem was the sink. Other than that the room was excellent.

Accomodating

Room is great, staff are so accomodating. Wifi in our room is so slow, but the front desk told us about that when we checked in. And the pool is a must visit. Great for picture taking.. you can see the twin tower. 🙃 we are veey satisfied with the service. Thank you

This is my third night stay in WP hotel, and my stay was awesome. but this morning when I went to the rooftop swimming pool, saw something disguise us by one of the staff. He use a pail and took water from the pool to wash the designated shower area,. The shower area is just located next to the pool, floor full of soap or detergent, and he just simply using the pool water to rinse it off, water from the floor are flow back to the pool, and the pool was already open for guests use. Now we know why are we sleeping last night and feel that our skin very itchy is because we ever use your swimming pool. I think this is quite serious about unhygienic. I did informed one of the reception staff about this, but it seems like nothing to him, he don't even acknowledge or apologize on this matter which I think is a bit disappointed for my third times stay. Actually I liked this hotel concept and all, relaxing, location accessible with affordable price. But they way of some staff treated their guests are disrespect at times. After this incident happened, I'll definitely think twice before book this hotel again.

There's much room for improvement

The hotel had some technical issues during our check-in and we have to wait like half an hour due to power failure prior to our check-in. After we get into our room (family room) the air-condition was not working well (hot) and we had technical staff to service the aircon though there was a bit noisy sound came from the aircon nevertheless "new hotel". The breakfast was too simple and frustrated to look at, they should have provided with more food varieties and selection as a 4 star hotel (self-claimed may be?) like most hotels but for us it is actually a 3 stars rated hotel to be honest. Below of our beds were thick dust (maybe they forgot to clean it) and there were a pair of sandals left from the previous guests. The toilet base was shaky, noisy and very annoying when we were sitting there like playing a seesaw in a playground. When we were requested to move to another room, they said there were no rooms available The only good thing at this hotel is actually the rooftop view.

Wp hotel - Kuala Lumpar

Excellent hotel for the price,very helpful staff and rooms were very clean with free bottles of water as well as tea and coffee. The hotel is situated between two monorail stations - Chow Kit and Medan Tuanku, both within a five minute walking distance - though, the latter station is within a rough area (especially at night). Overall, I give the hotel a 9 out of 10.

I advice WP hotel to keep the electric power in good condition. Of the 3 nights stay, 3 nights of electric trouble in Room 1017 was experienced by us. Aircon makes guests feel comfortable and charging of cellular phones are necessary. Other services are good.

Comfortabale and clean Room

Hotel`s staffs were kind with hospitality. The room are clean and comfortable.There are near Big shopping Mall, AION near the hotel.It takes about 10 mins by walk. Also there are some local food restaurants around the hotel. The price of Hotel is resonable and I highly recommend this hotel.

Very Nice Hotel

From the overall condition, the hotel is clean, nice, comfortable, spacious & give a homey feel to me. Surprise as the hotel is quiet in the night as I thought the road side will be noisy in the night as car pass by. I am quite surprise that there is a swimming pool on the rooftop which is great with the KLCC & KL Tower view. Although the car parks are very limited, but they offer car park claim to their customer. Would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends & family.

Not clean and no carpark at all

There don't have their own car park lots. Always tell us the carpark is full and need us to park behind the tree. I don't think is safe, when I reached hotel at midnight. The car park have no security, surrounding are foreigner slept at the floor. It was so dangerous walked from carpark towards hotel. I would book again. The hotel floor still can see the dust and price tag left behind.

My First Visit!

The room , bathroom and other facilities * the condition is okay since the hotel is new. In term of room size, it is a bit small. Location * very far from LRT station. You have to use cab is you want to move around from your hotel. For me it quite troublesome.The hotel compound / driveway is so small as the hotel located at the corner of the block. There are several restaurants but you have to walk or cross the road . I hate walking far from the hotel. It make me tired easily. I think if you have your own car, then this hotel is good for you. The children loveeeeee the rooftop pool. The view is awesome!

Great hotel at a great price!

Even though the hotel is in the older part of KL the monorail is close by to move around the city and there are several nice shopping centres down the road. Quill for one has some great shops and only a 5 minute stroll away. The rooftop pool is lovely and a great view! The staff were all very helpful and I would definitely stay again. The room was compact but very clean with a small fridge and a jug for that morning coffee. A great priced hotel !

Alot of room for improvement

Hotel was good(location, comfort) but unfortunately staff wasnt so welcoming and polite. They werent rude but just disappointed with welcoming and parking was refunded(as we parked in another nearby area) which is a plus point. Swimming pool was amazing.
