Luxurious!

This hotel was quite an experience. It is extremely high end and luxurious. Everything was truly perfect. If I had to be nit picky, my only gripe would be that I felt like I was always underdressed. This was not a business trip but a vacation for my wife and I, but whether leaving or eating at the restaurant, I felt like I should have been wearing a suit. This is not a bad thing, just shows that they are classy.

Amazing small boutique hotel in gorgeous palace in heart of Rome.

The staff at Hotel Vilòn were absolutely amazing and made our time there super memorable. We stayed in a room with a very charming terrace and enjoyed breakfast on the terrace one morning which was lovely! The hotel’s location is great as it’s on a quiet street but very close to many of Rome’s attractions (within walking distance). We feel so grateful to have spent some of our honeymoon there!

What a wonderful hotel! After two weeks at Hotel Vilon, we weren’t ready to leave. The service and attention to detail in this beautiful hotel was 5 star in every way. There is a wonderful made to order breakfast to start the day before walking to numerous sights, shopping and restaurants. For those sights a bit too far to walk, taxis are readily available. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, what a joy it was to be welcomed back to the peaceful atmosphere of Hotel Vilon! This will definitely be the hotel we choose for our next visit to Rome and will recommend to all of our friends. Truly a special place.

Phenomenal Hotel

Phenomenal hotel and staff. Went above and beyond for us. The food was fantastic and we booked to stay another night after returning to Rome. Brought us breakfast to our room and 3.45am before leaving for our early flight and had the taxi waiting outside. Small details taken care of! Great hotel and located in the center of Rome!

Truly a 5 star gem in Rome!

This hotel was definitely our favorite hotel that we have ever experienced. I have stayed at The Ritz Paris and Four Seasons etc. many 5 star hotels, but Hotel Vilón was special. The warmth of their greeting, the luxury and comfort of this lovely boutique hotel, won our hearts! It is situated on a small quiet street located walking distance from many sights (Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, great shopping). They did not scrimp on anything and we had special requests for gluten free, etc. which room service kindly met with many delicious items on hand. Room service and housekeeping were top notch. Concierge helped us with many requests for car/airport transfers and restaurant reservations. We requested a rom with a balcony and t overlooked the Borghese Gardens. Lovey for breakfast. We were sad to leave. We will be back in the future. Rome was a wonderful experience and Hotel Vilón was a big part of that.

Beautiful gem in a beautiful city

The hotel and staff more than exceeded our expectations. They were both kind, generous, attentive and professional. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are stunning. The location is perfect. Close enough to walk to various attractions, yet not in the middle of a lot of tourist activity. The experience was wonderful and we will be staying there again on our next trip to this beautiful city.

True amazing 5 star in Rome! Breakfast was included and we had an early flight out and they packed it to go for us at 6am. In the heart of all the sites. Amazing service, people! WOW!!!! Wonderful hotel! Thank you Vincenzo and all front desk, bar and all staff. Grazie!!!!!

Great hotel !

Outstanding - One of a kind

This boutique, small luxury hotel is at the pinnacle of all the other hotels we have ever stayed at. The staff was beyond superb and attention was provided to every detail. Whatever we requested or needed was met with priority and special care. The room was very large considering all of the other hotels in Rome. The decor, finishes, features, amenities and fixtures were all excellent. Everything in the room including snacks, water and mini-bar was all complimentary. The food was outstanding. All of our hosts were so professional, yet very friendly. We enjoyed the bath accessories so much, that when we commented about them at checkout, they gave us two very large bottles of this custom collection. The location was perfect for shopping and access to the major tourist attractions. We can’t say enough about this amazing property.

Amazing! We had an wonderful experience here. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always willing to assistance. I happened to wake up late and ended missing breakfast. Without asking they saw my distress and bought out several options for me to choose from. Talk about great customer service! i would definitely go there again and have advised others to as well.

Loved staying here. Although location is central, the alley that it is located is a bit scary looking. Great amenities and staff. Breakfast is the best! Will stay here every time we visit Rome!

Superb hotel in a great area, walkable to everything. Stylish, luxurious, discreet and very comfortable. Had a room with a terrace overlooking the adjacent Villa Borghese's private garden. A wonderful refuge from the bustling city. Great bar and food. Will definitely go back.

Wonderful hotel. Welcomed right from arrival. Concierge helped st up a wonderful tour. Room was clean, comfortable and had ample space.

Hotel very quiet. Small. Staff extremely attentive and nice. Breakfast was lovely and if weather is nice can eat in beautiful courtyard. Would stay here again when visiting Rome. Location was perfect walking to all sights and shopping and restaurants

An incredible experience. What sets the hotel apart is its staff. When we arrived my wife was ill. The chef created a chicken broth soup for her. The next morning the concierge procured the meds required to alleviate her distress. You can find a comfortable bed and hot shower in a lot of places. You can find elegance in a few. But service as provided by the Vilon is rare indeed.

Best boutique hotel in the heart of Spanish Steps

Fantastic boutique hotel in the center of everything. Beautifully designed, quiet and relaxing. Staff is all top notch and keen to assist in any way. A bit pricey but everything in the Spanish Steps area generally is so definitely worth that little bit extra. I have tried at least 7-8 5star and or smaller boutique hotels in the area and this one is my best overall experience yet.
