Would definitely come back
All around top customer service from desk house keeping and restaurant staff great service will be back 👍
Great customer service all around from desk room staff and restaurant staff 👍

Exelente
I do not like it is too noisy, construction
The staff was very helpful and the place was clean!
Professional staff
Friendly, helpful and professional staff. Room was clean. You could see and smell the cleaniless of sheets and towels. Room was mostly quiet except for the AC unit. It had these unpredictable noises. And of course sometimes other guests were not subtle coming in and out of their rooms. I recommend to ask for an interior room if you're a light sleep like me. Our first room was right in front of the main avenue. Couldn't sleep a wink but next morning we requested a change of room and they were very accommodating. Breakfast is included and it's good but not many choices. The same selections every morning. There are a variety of nearby restaurants to switch up. When you walk out the front door of the hotel, it is a main avenue, therefore it is easy getting a taxi or cab or buses. The main highlight for me is the beautiful terrace located on the 10th floor. The menu has appetizers, entrées and both nonalcoholic and alcoholic drinks and its all delicious, well presented and very reasonable prices. I cannot express enough how friendly and professional the staff is. I would definitely stay there again.
Clean hotel, great breakfast and near shopping areas. Attentive and friendly staff.
Pros: refrigerator in room, microwave available in the restaurant on the 10th floor, heater, good hot shower with good force ( have to let the water run for a while to get hot water), clean rooms, place felt very safe. Cons: beds were fine, but could be a bit softer.
Excellent accommodation very friendly staff. Professional and courteous. Very nice interior with paintings and ornaments quite unique. Would definitely recommend it.
For the price point of this hotel I expected very little. Vila Santa exceeded in nearly every way. My room was comfortable and quiet, it was always cleaned, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable. Rooftop restaurant has gorgeous views and an indoor/outdoor feel that’s very inviting. I’d recommend offering take away coffee to guests though. I couldn’t get one even for the room.
Clean and comfortable in Lima
We stayed at this hotel the night before a flight out of Lima. Check-in was easy and our rooms were clean and comfortable. We have a family of 6, so we got two rooms with triple twin beds - it was perfect for our needs. The hot water and the water pressure were fantastic and so nice after traveling! Our hotel arranged taxis for us and the overnight front desk staff were so nice!
The staff was super kind and helpful, highly recommend....
The hotel is very clean and it’s in a safety place. The people from the hotel is very nice and kind. I like it and would definitely come back . Ah! And they prepared a delicious maracuya sour 😀
The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly
Very clean, staff very friendly, good free breakfast!
Friendly staff
Great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Welcoming staff, very attentive to our needs. Provided an electric adaptor as we had forgotten ours. We were initially placed in a room next to a room that was being worked on and painted. Requested a quieter room and were immediately accommodated.
Excellent hotel in Surco area. Staff spoke English well, extremely helpful.
Staff is friendly and helpful. Assisted with Uber’s and places to go.
Wonderful atmosphere, good location, great staff
The staff at Hotel Vila Santa was wonderful. Everyone was friendly, professional, and helpful. We had a minor issue in our room, which we reported to the front desk and it was taken care of immediately. The rooms were clean. The restaurant on the 10th floor had a good view and good food. The included breakfast had a lot of choices and the quality was good. The hotel was very convenient to Lima's one metro line, which we used almost everyday.
I like the place, it was close to restaurants, shopping centers, located in a street that it can be walked without problems.
Fantastic showers, damp room
The absolute best thing about our stay was the shower - the water pressure was amazing and there was always hot water at any time of the day. Best shower I've ever had in Peru. There were two main complaints that I had: First, out King bed was actually two twin mattresses pushed together with King sheets. This was most problematic because our baby sleeps between us and I worried a bit about the presence of a gap between the mattresses. Secondly, even though I knew there was no A/C or heat, which isn't a huge deal with Peru's temperatures, the room stayed very damp. The housekeeper would often open the window for airflow in the room when she cleaned, but we couldn't leave it open in the winter with a baby in the room. I had to wash out the baby's clothes and they hung in the bathroom for DAYS and never dried. I wish that the hotel had offered a dehumidifier or a small space heater to help with this issue. That being said, my family was sick during our stay (we arrived sick, no fault of the hotel) and the staff went out of their way to help us. They loaned us a water kettle and cups to make tea in the room, a power strip to plug things in, and even a thermometer. Sofia from the front desk always asked how we were doing when we saw her. Breakfast was also a nice buffet of bread, cheese, ham, butter, jam, fruit, juice, coffee, waffles, eggs, and cereals. We were very happy with the service at breakfast as well and they had a highchair for the little one. Good value for the price.
Enjoyed my stay. Staff helpful and friendly for the most part.
Good Hotel in Miraflores
Good hotel. A short taxi ride from Kennedy park (center of Miraflores). We booked 2 rooms. One room had AC, but the second room did not (had a rotating fan). AC is not 100% needed in Lima, but nice to have. Service was fantastic. Staff was always available to help!
This hotel was absolutely GREAT!!!! The ENTIRE staff was helpful and so welcoming. The hotel is located in a very safe area with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel offers a generous breakfast buffet; and daily specials of lunch and dinner!!!! The room accommodations are also great....comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms are large with a wonderful bathroom area. Extremely clean!!!! This hotel was truly a TREASURE in Miraflores!!! My family and I enjoyed our stay and we will definitely return! My regards to the entire staff !
Home out of home
Amazing
Great hotel. For a small fee was able to do a 6pm check out
Friendly staff, comfortable and clean establishment.
Terrible experience! Been there previuos years and easnt this bad like this time! Spent almost 2000 dollars for a of us, and not worth at all! Couldnt even sleep due to construction in the building, hammering so loud, employees smoking in the hallway, the bread for the breakfast areA was old and poor quality! No soap or shampoo in the bathroom .. the quality of the hotel has become very poor , not worth the 90.00 dollars per night! The only good thing was the two guys in the front josue and alexis and the venezolean guy Other than that..... it has become a cheap hotel
I liked how the hotel was decorated, especially the restaurant area on the top level. It had a unique style instead of looking like every other hotel I stay in.
The nicest staff EVER. Super safe and clean hotel. Taxis are dirt cheap to get to the busier fun area which is less than 10 minutes away ~ usually. I would stay here again for sure.
A wee gem
Very well run small hotel with everything you need. Very clean and beautifully decorated wish i could have stayed longer.
Good location, good price, good service.
We really enjoyed our night in Lima. The personnel is very friendly and helpful. They have complimentary coca tea in the reception area. The area where it is located, Miraflores, is very safe. It is the preferred area for tourist due to its safety and available restaurants. Uber works very well in Lima, which can take you from the hotel to the city center to see the various sights (main square, cathedral and museums). The price is very reasonable considering the area. Overall would recommend.
Nice hotel but not enough staff.
They overcharged and couldn't reimburse me??? They charged a tax that they shouldn't. I found out just when i ws leaving and they told me that they couldn't reimburse me and to remind them next time of my visit to see what could they do about it.
Great hotel near Miraflores
This is a great hotel that is located far close enough to downtown Miraflores but far enough to avoid the traffic and noisiness. The staff goes the extra mile to help, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The people from the breakfast area are super friendly and willing to do whatever they can to make sure that you are satisfied, the breakfast is far superior of what you would find in similar establishments
Good deal
Good deal for better than a budget hotel. The downside is you are bit removed from central Lima and the happening spots, but uber is cheap!
No house keeping
In 5 days my room was only cleaned once
Solid stay
Only stayed for one night, but it did the job. I don't know Lima too well, but there wasn't much around the immediate hotel of interest to me. The staff was very curteous and accommodating.
Basic and sweaty
This is the sort of place that the locals stay. The desk staff were nice and helpful. They arranged our ground transportation for us (paid). They also provided maps and explanations. Security was nonexistent as the room doors had only a "turn the little thing in the middle of the handle" type of lock. Fortunately, there was a safe in the room. The free breakfast was ok and they would provide whatever you wanted. There was no ventilation except an open window, but traffic and other noise (ahem, yes, OTHER noise) made it very challenging to sleep. Besides the bed, there was a chair, two night stands, a fridge, microwave and that's all. Our towels and clothing stayed damp all night due to the open window and humidity.
A lovely centrally placed hotel
We had a lovely two night stay including being picked up late at night from Lima Airport (small charge) which was really reassuring in a strange city.
Decent hotel
It wasn't pleasant, not AC is warn special in this time, head shower terrible. Other them that is good the breakfast and the stuff. Overall is fair I will not recommend this hotel. Thanks
Good Value Hotel
The staff is excellent. The facilities are generally good and very clean. Room 901 wifi was poor and weak -- strange since just one floor up in the restaurant it was quite strong. Also noisy in early morning as it was right under the 10th floor kitchen where workers would make noise getting ready for the new day (and leaving window open brought in the street and neighborhood noise). Breakfast service was excellent and the rooftop restaurant is very nice, except that there is a large smoking section right next to the windows and best views. This wasn't usually a problem other than when one lady, the owner I think, would use that smoking area as an office and make loud phone calls and chain smoke. That kind of ruined the breakfast experience for that day. The hotel exercise equipment was old and fragile and there wasn't much of it. Generally useless. But there is a Gold's Gym in walking distance that charges $10 per day. The hotel is located in an OK neighborhood, good for walking, with a few decent restaurants nearby. But if you want to visit the center of Miraflores, the ocean areas and old Lima or other districts, the taxi rides are a bit long. And if you need to make a few return trips to the hotel, then you'll need to add $20-$30 per day in taxi fares.
Too far from the main area of Miaflores
Staff kind but not the most pleasant area to walk around and find things to do. Room had a musty smell. Without AC, if you are facing the busy road, you wouldn't be able to sleep without earplugs.
Decent location
Stayed for one night, my gf is Peruvian but I booked the hotel on expedia. Because we stayed together, they charged me an extra $10 in IGV (sales tax). Had I stayed alone, I wouldn't have been charged they said...weird. I've worked and lived in Peru and never had that happen just because I was with a Peruvian.
Love the breakfast area, like sitting outside. Room clean and comfortable
Beautiful rooftop
This hotel has a charm you will not find in any five star hotel. The rooftop restaurant/balcony is the perfect place to relax. The staff is very nice and try to accomodate your every need. The location is a little far from the touristy areas, but you trade that for less traffic and a quieter location. There were some missing touches: no shades on the room lamps, no hand towels, the beds were not the softest, nowhere to hang suits/dresses. However, the rooms were very clean and the staff responded promptly to every request. Overall, I thought this was a great bargain hotel.
The hotel is comfortable with a great staff. In reading the reviews, we were under the impression it was in an area for shopping, restaurants, etc. Not the case...pretty well out of any shopping areas. However there were a couple of good restaurants within walking distance, so that helped, as the hotel restaurant, which was fine for breakfast, left a lot to be desired for dinner.
Accomodated our early check-in. Very nice staff. Close to Miraflores and Barranco.
Traffic noise at this hotel
The hotel staff is excellent. But the hotel is located on a main traffic corridor. The traffic noise is quite serious even on the fourth floor. Ask for a room on the back side of the building.
Very convenient and clean hotel
Amazing. I even extended my stay two more days.
Hotel needs some TCL. It is a bit dated
Hotel needs some TLC..it is a bit dated. Towels need to be replaced. Staff was friendly and we loved the roof top breakfast room. Location was good but not a walking distance from major attractions. Overall not bad for the price.
Very nice hotel
Great hotel in a nice location Loved the breakfast terrace and decor of the hotel! Friendly and helpful staff!
Friendly, clean and great value!
Really nice people and friendly and efficient staff...Jonathan was very kind and knowlegable as well as all staff we encounter. The restaurant and service staff was kind and attentive, Edith in the kitchen/dinning area was always welcoming us with a smile, a " what can I get for you" and a very sincere and warm nature, a definite asset to any hotel..Thank you all for a terrific time in Lima!!
Staff was great with service and friendliness!
A Top Experience
I've traveled extensively in Western Europe and stayed in many hotels of this level. Room pleasant, attractive, neat and clean. All staff here were very personable, extremely helpful and service oriented. Breakfast buffet was outstanding, including fresh fruit, eggs cooked to order, excellent coffee. Breakfast room bright and cheery on dreary, gray days. Hotel is located in a neighborhood, near a good shopping area, with ATMs and a bank. Area seemed very safe, which was important to me as a woman traveling alone. Several restaurants nearby, including 2 serving excellent Peruvian food. Shuttle service (a taxi) to and from airport, through hotel, was excellent and quite a bit cheaper than the rate of a major international shuttle service I've used in other countries and considered using in Lima. Though the hotel is located on a busy street and my room was on the front, it was never noisy. Should I return to Lima, I certainly will stay here again.
SOS humidity
We liked the effort put into the decor, but something needs to be done about the humidity (ex:dehumidifier). Our room was not very spacious, but constantly cold. The restaurant staff was especially kind. The hotel in itself is a bit far from the main tourist attractions.
Decent hotel but located in a corner of Miraflores, so was far away from the main attractions
Good first hotel
This is a small hotel next to the main road. The room had three individual beds, a small refrigerator & microwave. The breakfast was fantastic & it had a great view of the city. The staff was super friendly & gave us great advice for our Machu Picchu trip!
Exemplary, caring staff at the Vila Santa
It's a three-star hotel with five-star service. Furnishings are well-appointed: beautiful art in the lobby. The staff are magnificent. They were attentive to our needs, provided helpful suggestions, and were friendly. It really was a delightful place to stay.
Staff is very helpful
The hotel staff is amazing!! They are so helpful. The room was fine but I could hear street traffic. Great hot shower and good breakfast included. I enjoyed my stay and will stay again when I return to Lima next week. What really turned me off was the smoking. There is a little room off to the side but the smoke travels to all the rooms which is awful. Being from the US, I get spoiled because there is no smoking inside a building.
nice hotel, excellent staff, nice area
I stayed here for 3 nights, overall pretty good experience. First the bad, the bathroom could use some upgrading as out tub had standing water. Second the breakfast was ok but could be better. The good, overall room comfort was good, location was fairly central (about 12 sol to the hub of Mira Flores and 50 sol to airport). The walk from Mira Flores is about 30 min which is not bad, but the hotel as all the facilities nearby. The staff at the hotel was excellent, very friendly, arranged our taxis and clarified the price for us, and they also helped me set up my phone on Claro.
Nice hotel, rich area
Nice staff , trying their best to have a conversation with us not speaking too much Spanish; apparently Expedia reservation wasn't in their books , but they gave us rooms. Nice walk to the ocean, everything else too far
Very Amenities
This was a great place to stay and had very nice decor. It was very relaxing and had great amenities like a gym, mini fridge, microwave. Staff was very helpful. The breakfast area was super cute and they had a good buffet. The sheets were impeccably clean and the beds very comfy. I would recommend this place because it was the nicest place we stayed in Peru, just know that it's on the edge of Miraflores.
Great hotel, friendly and courteous staff.
This hotel was very nice, centrally located and easy to get to. The hotel staff all speak English and are very helpful. I would stay here again.
Good place to stay
The people at the Vila were very helpful and friendly!
