Excellent. Located in a quiet side street near the Rhine. Comfortable room, very quiet hotel, friendly staff & breakfast. 5 minutes walk from Reichensperger Platz U Bahn metro station a couple of stops from Köln Hbf & the Dom. Reception manned 24/7. A safe quiet area.I would definitely stay again.

A lovely place with lots of character.

Location was great, room was very comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful. The only 2 things which could be better are the pillows and towels.

Nice old heritage building. Close to the river and a few minutes from the zoo and botanical garden. Just 20 minute walk to the city centre and cathedral. No bath tub in my room, room quite small but comfortable.

Sleep in the cellar

The room was below street level. The window overlooks the parking lot, you could hear the cars coming and going. Very small room.Vicino ai bagni comuni. Per andare in camera bisogna attraversare il ristorante

The hotel had real character and is located in a decent location.

A total gem in historic old building in Cologne. Spotlessly clean, charming and helpful staff, fabulous breakfast buffet. Twenty-minute walk along the Rhine to the Cathedral. And we got lucky to have one of the limited parking spots! Highly recommended.

Great hotel!! The location is walkable to downtown and the train station and easy to find, just follow the river and it is off to your left. The breakfast is great as well and the staff are very friendly!!! The room is very comfortable as well!!!

Beautiful lobby and lounge areas and our wonderful room overlooked the river. Hotel was in a quiet residential area and we appreciated their recommendations of local restaurants! Fabulous breakfast and very helpful staff.

I had a great stay! The staff was friendly and helpful in calling me a taxi. The booking went smoothly and my single room was the perfect size! On a quiet street so you can actually get some sleep in bustling Cologne!

Lovely hotel, close to old town. However we needed to upgrade as our allocated room was too small to spend more that 1 night in.

Location

Hotel Victoria is a wonderful "music history" place to stay. Just 15 minutes walk from the Railwaystation and along the river Rhein it is easy to find by foot.

Noce hotel and a nice value

It's a nove place and a good location along the river promenade. It's only one mile to the central station, cathedral, etc. The room was clean, the breakfast was giod, and the staff were overall friendly (especially the ones who worked during breakfast). I would drfinitely recommend this place for families or solo travelers.

Traditional, pleasant hotel on a quiet side street

This is a very clean, very pleasant hotel on a quiet side street a block from the Rhine. It shares a neighborhood with private homes and lots of creative agencies and commissions. It has a small pleasant lobby, a well-decorated breakfast room. If you have lots of luggage, be aware that although there is an elevator to get to it you must go up a set of stairs. There is no porter. The staff were ok. I don't agree with other effusive reviews that characterize them as super nice and attentive. From my point of view, the clerk could be described as intimidating and I observed her being short with Asian visitors. The breakfast spread was broad and appealingly laid out. Everything was fresh. The coffee was ample but weak.

Great location & I was lucky to get the last free parking space. Disappointed that the room had not been vacuumed - fingernail clippings on the floor from a previous guest! Otherwise nice, quiet area but close to the river. Wifi OK but could be stronger

Nice hotel near the Rhine River

Built originally as a museum for historic musical instruments, the conversion to a hotel thus incorporated a facility designed to have an aesthetically pleasing interior. Marble floors and elegant staircases make one feel is in a palace rather than a hotel. Located about a mile from the city center the hotel is in a very quiet residential quarter with numerous fine restaurants nearby. Breakfasts were a delight with a wide array of offerings. The room was most comfortable and immaculately clean.

Quirky Hotel with Great Character

The hotel is a little off the beaten track in that it is a little way from the centre. The Dom is a 25 minute walk away, the metro is a 10 minute walk (and then 5 minutes to the Dom). It is literally on the river, though a claim of a 'river view' from our room would be generous. The hotel has no other eating or drinking facilities except for a good breakfast buffet, so if you want a cup of coffee, but one before you get back to the hotel. You do get a mini-bar. There is an offer of a sandwich via room service, but it didn’t look too encouraging. There is mention of a lounge and bar, though there was no sign of one! The room we had was small and neat, with plenty of wardrobe space and the bathroom was modern, clean and excellent, with a shower, but not a bath. The hotel has quite a history, which is explained all over the place and is a revered architectural gem. There is a leaflet recommending good restaurants within walking distance. The staff are efficient rather than particularly friendly.

Comfortable Hotel short walk from centre

A very warm welcome awaits you at this hotel. The staff were very knowledgeable about the city and best places to visit. The hotel is a very clean and well maintained and rooms generously proportioned if a little dated.

Well Placed central Quiet hotel

One night stay but would stay longer in future, easy to find by car with some but limited car parking .Staff excellent ,helpful,friendly and personably. Hotel has no restaurant but close to river with a 15 min stroll into tourist centre with ample choice of dining and easy access to sights such as amazing cathedral

Good hotel within 1 mile of central Cologne.

Our first visit to Germany so we arranged airport collection through hotel. We found our driver and were driven in a deluxe cab through the rush-hour traffic to the hotel at a reasonable fare. Reception staff were very helpful and quickly checked us in and provided plenty of visitor information. The room was clean, warm, comfortable, and all facilities were first class. Plenty of storage in shelves and wardrobes, but no drawers for small items, and no tea/coffee tray. The hotel is within 100 Mtrs of the Rhine embankment. We were visiting the Christmas markets and the next day we walked to the Cathedral along the Rhine in under 20 minutes. We visited several markets over the two days of our stay, together with the cathedral, museums and shops. The weather was dull but dry the first day, but turned wet on the second so we bought a day rover ticket for the trams, very reasonable 12euro per day for up to 5 people, so we hopped on and off as required. There are a number of bars and restaurants nearby to suit various tastes. Overall we enjoyed our first visit to Cologne.

Safe Haven In A Foreign Country

The hotel is situated in a very quiet part of Cologne. There was very little to no noise at night. Very nice breakfast buffet. Serveral nice restraunts within walking distance. It is about a 20 minute walk to the cathedral, although you can take the train. My room was very small, with a single bed for me to sleep on. The nightly rate was 50% of my allowable per diem, so the rooms were quite reasonable. Free parking on the street or behind hotel. Paid parking in their garage was available, but not required. I felt very safe during my stay.

Schönes kleines Hotel am Rhein

Gutes Stadthotel in einer alten Villa 50m vom Rheinufer entfernt (nahe Zoobrücke9. Ruhiges, gut möbliertes Einzelzimmer, sehr freundliches Personal und gutes Frühstück. Für Gehbehinderte Gäste weniger geeignet.

Die Begrüßung war sehr freundlich, das Zimmer sauber und das Bett bequem. Leider gab es beim Frühstücksbuffet keine vegetarischen oder veganen Aufstriche (abgesehen von der Marmelade) und auch über mehr Gemüse hätte ich mich gefreut.

Gut gefallen haben die Zimmer und die Nähe zum Zentrum. Weniger gefallen hat das langsame Nachfüllen beim Frühstücksbuffet.

In onze kamer was er geen airco, buiten meer dan 30°. De afzuiging in de badkamer maakte te veel lawaai. Al bij al een heel mooi, verzorgd hotel met een goed ontbijt. Voor ons was de ligging ideaal; lag op een klein halfuurtje wandelen langs de Rein tot in de binnenstad en de dom.

Das Zimmer war sauber aber sehr klein. Da hatte ich in anderen Städten schon größere und schönere Zimmer für weniger Geld. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist ausreichend, allerdings für den Preis nicht viel Auswahl. Der Fußweg zur Altstadt am Rhein entlang ist bei schönem Wetter traumhaft.

Alles sehr schön hier, wir kommen sicher wieder! Ein tolles Haus mit Geschichte und ein sehr freundlicher Empfang. Da fühlt man sich gleich wohl!

中央駅から地下鉄で2駅と観光地に近い立地の上、カーニバル期間中にもかかわらず周囲は静かで快適でした。 フロントも親切で好印象を受けました。朝食はドイツのスタンダードなものでしたが、落ち着いてとることができました。 この値段帯でこのサービスであれば満足することができると思います。

Noble Ausstattung im gesamten Haus . Alles war sehr sauber . Mein Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Türen öffnen auf dem Flur husten und duschen im Nachbarzimmer, alles war zu hören und das Zimmer war von der Fläche sehr klein. Zum schlafen reicht es .Das Frühstück war sehr, sehr einfach und der Frühstücksraum ist zum wohlfühlen zu eng . .

Großes und geräumiges Zimmer, alles sauber und gepflegt. Gutes Frühstück. Hotel liegt fussläufig zu Zoo und Flora, nicht weit zu Hauptbahnhof, Dom und City. Günstige Parkmöglichkeiten. Würde ich wieder buchen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Sehr schönes und ehrwürdiges Hotel. Der Eingangsbereich gleicht dem eines kleinen Schloßes. Vom Empfang über die tolle Ausstattung des Zimmers bis hin zum üppigen Frühstücksbuffet war alles sehr gut. Alles sauber und aufgeräumt. Kleine Snacks und Getränke waren in der gut sortierten Minibar zu finden. Einzig die Lüftung im Badezimmer ist sehr laut. Aber dies schmälert unseren Gesamteindruck nicht. Wir sprechen eine ganz klare Empfehlung aus!

Zimmer waren soweit sauber, aber leider war die Luft etwas "muffig"; kleine und feine Zimmer die allerdings etas in die Jahre gekommen sind; Die Lage ist hervorragend, da man in 20 Minuten am HBF und somit auch am Dom ist; Die Verkehrsanbindung ist sehr gut und auch das Parken war für uns problemlos mögklich, obwohl es nur wenig Parkplätze gibt die zum Hotel gehören; Tagsüber kann man um das Hotel herum an den Streaßen für 4Euro/Tag parken. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, sehr üppig mit großer Auswahl

Preiswerte Übernachtungs-Möglichkeit; ruhige Lage

Einzelzimmer gebucht & erhalten. Zweckmäßige Einrichtung. Sauberkeit tadellos. Personal freundlich. Frühstücks-Raum & -Buffet ist OK - weil im Preis enthalten: Zufriedenstellend. Parkplatz (wenn frei weil wenig Plätze verfügbar) am Hotel kostenlos (!). Lage in Rhein-Nähe, ansonsten in unmittelbarer Umgebung ungemütlich.
