The ppl at front desk not friendly. They acted as if annoyed by us being there.
Conveniently located by metro, bus and tram station. Food and pharmacy also near. Great value and top service. Will stay again
OK, budget hotel, Room was large and clean. the only thing it didn't have that I expected was Air Conditioning that worked in cool mode. there was AC but it would only work in heat mode :(
Okay
Comfortable, great position.
Great area with a few good music bars close by. Quiet at night and easy to walk to old town. As over 65 trams were free, just carry your driving licence for proof. Staff great. Only little niggle was Wi-Fi kept dropping out and phone use up my data allowance.
Area was distant enough from the loud busy areas of Prague but there’s a metro station just a few steps away. Hotel had everything I needed for a 3 night stay. The single bed I had was placed so close to the wall. I would recommend putting some space on both sides as I can feel that people have tended to sleep away from the wall that the mattress felt lop sided. Other than that, my stay was great.
Very helpful and friendly staff, good location, clean rooms, breakfast basic but good value. Would stay here again.
I rented a double-bed room. It was clean and comfortable. The hotel is very near to I. P. Pavlova station. Good food options available nearby. There was a mini market just adjacent to the hotel which was open till 11pm. Overall, it was a good experience for the price. Temperature was bit of an issue as I rented it in July.
Big rooms, walk to Wensclaus square etc. cooperatives staff
Good location. Quiet & Clean.
Not in the tourist zone which is really nice.
Around the corner from the Metro, and trams. Easy to get to and from the tourist zone. My room was large and comfortable.
Great value for money
Clean tidy and very comfortable. Great staff and service .
No wifi
Ok but no WiFi in room which is a common problem with the hotels i have stayed in booked with hotel.com. WiFi should be available in every room not just the lobby. Hotels should not get away with pretending wifi is in the room if its not
Not the cleanest - good location
The bad - Room not the cleanest on arrival, hairs all over shower rim, no toilet roll holder, shower leaked all over the floor due to sealant gaps. Crazy AC which is controlled by reception, only switched on by request for a couple hours at a time. The good - Good location, 5 minute walk to top of wencelas square & 20 minutes to old town square although situated on a busy road. Very cheap
Hotel is outdated. Garbage was not emptied in bathroom. No ventilation in room. Very stuffy. It was broken and I was there 3 nights and they never repaired it. Street traffic is loud so windows have to remain closed.
3 nights in Prague
Biggest con on this hotel is the fault of Hotels.com probably since I paid 278 USD for 3 nights and then I arrived the rooms were going for 37 Euros per night. Otherwise the hotel is older but located in new town near national museum and tram/metro. You can also walk to old town. Internet was horrible from the room. Most European hotels don’t have tea/coffee in room, but you can buy breakfast for 4 euros or coffee for about 1.50 euro in the hotel. Reception ladies were super kind and helpful. When you get on tram/train make you validate your ticket so you don’t pay fines.
Excellent location, very decent place
Great location, with good restaurants nearby, and only a block away from tram AND metro station. Room and bathroom were big, so that's good. Air conditioner has to be requested in at the front desk, and it's not the greatest. BUT, that seemed to be the case in just about every hotel we staying in every country we visited in Europe.
Location near the center
The stay was good. The location is close to center.
Great value great staff
The front desk staff made a huge difference. They were very helpful and effective- great for local information and for getting things done in the hotel. The hotel doesn’t have any facilities but is good value for the fee. There is a small fridge in the room and a great mini market and pizza takeout across the street.
Great budget hotel near central Prague..friendly staff...nice Breakfast
All I can say about this hotel is that it is spotless and staff are helpful and friendly.
I have nothing to add we were very lucky with service, time, and area
good location. good breakfast. friendly staff - Gabriel -Xenia- Alberto-Alex; friendly kitchen ladies; clean room. accessible to public transport
Wunderbarr
Good breakfast and helpfull staff will support again
For 3 stars hotel perfect services, ofordable price. Only one an issue you need everyday reminder for them to turn air condition on.
Good location reasonable price.
This hotel location is quite good close to metro line red. There is a currency exchange shop with good rate (25k=1 €) nearby. Hotel room is nice and bigger than I expected. Shower box is a little bit small but ok. My room was in the back and quite quiet. One night I came back to hotel quite late and the front door was locked, I had to buzz the button to call reception to open the door for me; Breakfast is quite plenty. There is a small refrigerator in the room too. Overall I like this hotel with reasonable price.
Good, clean room. Comfortable bed. Hotel handily situated for the centre of town, 10 minute walk to Wenceslas sq. Quiet and restful.
I was able to store my luggage before official check in time. Breakfast each morning had many options. Front desk staff were helpful. I was on the 4th floor and there is a major road in front of the hotel. The double windows blocked out nearly all the road noise. Would stay here again.
I had a very quiet room. Great location, only 10 minutes walk to Wenceslas Square.
I emailed the hotel to ask for a lower floor room and got put on the 3rd floor, when I mentioned it to receptionist he just said "well we are fully booked", don't email me then to say they have put me on a 1st floor
Reception staff polite and helpful, rooms were spotlessly clean. We asked for extra pillows for the bed and they were provided straight away. Breakfast was tasty the only quibble would be that they state breakfast is 7.30 to 10.30am but on arriving in the breakfast room at just after 9am there was not bacon left. We asked if they had any more but the answer was no so if you want bacon then you would probably have to be there first thing. That said there was plenty of other choice. All in all an excellent stay.
This hotel is ok and the location is good however the rooms at the front are incredibly noisy and the heat is centrally controlled. Our room was 27 celcius when it was below zero outside and this made me feel very sick. The breakfast is below average. Overall I can’t recommend this hotel.
Prague week away
Good value hotel for the money clean and tidy and nice staff
Nice Hotel. Room was good and also included a free safe, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good with a good selection of hot and cold food. Very handy for IP Pavlova metro and tram stops. Staff pleasant and friendly.
Nice hotel near city centre
Great establishment near all the city centre sights
Tivoli Top
Perfect location near Metro and Tram links.Very helpful staff and comfortable stay.Excellent value for money.
Nice hotel, easy to get to all areas of interest
I had a lovely time at the Tivoli.. The hotel was clean, quiet, and the continental buffet breakfast was very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helped with directions.
Good hotel
Clean, big room. Good wifi. Quiet location, outside the historical centre, subway and tram stops just around the corner. Good breakfast.
Clean hotel - good for budget travelers
We enjoyed our stay here for the most part. Our first room was pretty bad - no wifi service and we couldnt shower because the drain was completely clogged and would have flooded the bathroom. But luckily, we were moved to a new room the next day that was much better - it had great wifi service and no clogged drain. The receptionists were all very nice. Breakfast is very basic - exactly the same every morning but it has enough to fill you up. Just a short 20-30 minute walk into the city center. All in all if youre a budget traveler looking for a clean place to rest your head, I would recommend this place.
Not trully air conditioned.
Air conditioning wasn't working the entire hot July night. Couldn't open windows because of the street noise. The hotel is listed as air conditioned, but there is a note in room that AC is turned on at management discretion and on that hot night the management decided not to turn it on.
Location is great, close to public transportation.
Very pleasant stay
Location and room were excellent. Hotel is 2 minutes walking distance from tram and metro stop. Front deak staff was very accomodating. Even after i checed out of the hotel they allowed me to keep my bags in the luggage room. Even they allowed me to park the car for few hours after checkout with out any extra charge.
Perfectly reasonable hotel not far from station and close to tram and underground. Aircon was very welcome in a very hot Prague!. Triple glazing meant room was quiet on a road with quite heavy traffic. Breakfast was functional and quite adequate. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Would stay again.
Great hotel. Great location. Would suggest a room at back of hotel as the traffic noise is none stop.
Brilliant hotel at a bargain price
Had an absolutely fantastic stay at Hotel Tivoli. Room was very clean and was brilliant maintained during the stay. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very nice and it is in a good location, a five minute walk from Wenceslas Square and 20 minutes from the old town. I couldn't fault anything and provides a better service that some 4* hotels I have stayed in.
Good location, convenient.
very convenient for trams and the metro, comfortable hotel, nice breakfast, ver clean and comfortable
Very nice hotel, good breakfast, good value for money. A little far from the Old Town/Charles Bridge area . . . next to a subway station, though.
Bad room
Bed was terrible not comfortable. I asked to staff they said they don't have any other room. 24hrs smell from toilet no ventilation. Breakfast was also bad. Same breakfast every day. I checked out from the room before and go to other hotel. Very very very Bad service and illiterate staff.
Great budget friendly hotel
For the price of the rooms you couldn't really ask for a better place to stay! Centrally located 20 minutes or so to the Astronomical clock and Charles bridge. Friendly and helpful staff and clean pleasent rooms. Would definitely stay here again if in Prague.
Nothing special but value for money
I've stayed here before. Basic but clean - and excellent price for the location. Will definitely book again. Night porter struggled with English and then after the first nights drawn out enquiry didn't recognise me the 2nd night. But otherwise great.
Good position to explore the beautiful city.
Very nice stay, good position and friendly helpful staff. The only problem was the lack of hot water for showers in the mornings.
Great base, great location
Seventh time to Prague. Picked this hotel because of its close proximity to Metro and tram stations. Breakfast is very basic but it's free so can't complain. Rooms on the front of hotel are huge but little more traffic noise. Rooms at rear are smaller but quieter. Overall great base to stay, worth more money than you pay.
Generally good
This Hotel is a good location about 5 minutes walk from Wenceslas Square. The rooms are basic but clean. Rooms at the front are noisy due to the very busy road that runs past the Hotel. The breakfast food is good but the service at breakfast is poor. Food running out and not replaced, coffee dispenser empty and took ages to replace. Overall happy with my stay at this hotel
Very good breakfast.
Nice clean hotel with very good breakfast. Decent location but not the best for the tourist area.
Vehicle traffic is very load
Close to centre
The Tivoli is within walking distance to where all the tourist action is. They provide a nice buffet breakfast. Good value.
Rooms double booked?
When we arrived to check-in we were told the Hotel Tivoli had no rooms for us and they had overbooked. Our arrival was late evening, the transfer transport had dropped us and gone. We were told there were rooms at another Hotel and shown how to WALK to this Hotel Diminska. We refused to walk, being late evening and in a strange city so eventually a taxi was arranged. Then a discussion continued about which hotel should collect the City Tax!! If this is an example of booking hotel rooms through Expedia you won't be receiving any more????? What a horrible way to start a City Break! However the Hotel Diminska was excellent!
It was good, but a bit far.
The hotel is a bit away from the main attractions. I did walk everywhere. So it is walk able but it is about 15 mins. to walk where you needed to be. The main train station is about 10 to 15 min walk. The hotel was okay. The breakfast was reasonable, but don't expect a lot. The hotel does have AC but it is not what you think. You barely feel it. I was there when it was super hot. If I come around the city again, I would stay somewhere else closer. The WiFi barely worked. It was a bit week. Otherwise, there are eateries around and public transportation. It is a quiet area. But it is a bit far for me.
Really great location
The beds were not comfortable. We did receive extra pillows upon request. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Management turns off AC at midnight, so woke up hot in the middle of the night to open window. Only one of our windows would open. Location is perfect, a half block from IP Pavlova where, for 10 Euros, you can buy a 3 day pass giving unlimited access to Metro, teams and buses, all available from IP Pavlova.
Hotel Tivoli Prague - great location avd value
Hotel is located quite nicely, not far from the National Museum and near to the metro station. Offers a great value with reasonably nice room and good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.
Excellent position for exploring main attractions
very pleasant stay at the Tivoli Hotel. Perfect position for walking to Wencesles Square, shops, bars, restaurants etc & to other main sites. It is positioned on a busy main road & our room was facing this, however the rooms are very well glazed & this was not a problem at all.
Hotel very clean and safe
Hotel close to all things you want to see and is very clean and safe
A First Rate Hotel
I enjoyed my brief break in Prague in this wonderful, elegant hotel. My room was spacious and clean and the morning buffet breakfast sets you up for the day...
Warm hotel, close to main attractions.
When we arrived to the hotel, we were greeted by friendly receptionist Gabriel. He helped us book all the tours and gave us important information related to the city: what metro lines to take, what cities to visit, etc. Our only complaint would be the beds. We asked for a double bed and they gave us twin beds instead. They were really old and uncomfortable.
Very happy with good deal
The staff was so friendly specially front desk
Nice hotel,
Enjoyed it, good choice at breakfast which was good to start the day. Long ish walk to main sights (40 mins to little quarter/castle) but metro really handy. generally really good, beds were a bit squeaky. Room isn't massive but not a problem for us as we were out all the time. Really warm as Prague winter is chilly.
Basic and clean
Pillows poor quality...no kettle our coffee available..breakfast ok very basic...cheap brands More like a hostel than a 3 star hotel..
Can't complain
I liked it. Location was good. clean rooms and friendly staff. maybe they need to improve the breakfast. But definitely I will stay there.
Nice hotel and convenience location.
Comfort stay for 8 nights. Got daily house keeping and good breakfast especially the yoghurt.
Many good things all within easy reach.
We had 2 rooms for 8 days and for most things, suited us fine. Located on a main street, it was easy to find but rooms at the front were noisier than the back. When I come again, I'll get a taxi from the airport and not hire a car as the city is so compact and there's so much to see and do within easy reach. Plus the fact that the tram, train and subway systems are so: cheap, frequent and convenient, it made my car hire and parking fees seem like an unneccessary extravegance. The hotel staff all seemed to speak about 3 or more languages and couldn't have been any more helpful. There were no tea making facilities - which we sorely missed - nor any proper bar and lounge areas. But, it made us look harder for good places to eat in the evenings, and we managed to find new places every night within walking distance. We used the number 22 tram stop round the corner by the KFC whenever we wanted to travel nearer the river.
South of train station, great location.
Prague is truly a city of peace. I have never felt so free, respectful, and genuinely overwhelmed with architectural beauty. The hotel is great. Breakfast is a real plus. It starts your day off with inspiration. The original Czech pilsner, yum.
Overall great
The hotel was in a great location and was quite a large room. Room was very clean. Breakfast was ok but not much variety, though since it came with the room it's fine. It was possible to walk to attractions but most of the time it was just easier to catch the metro which was really close to the hotel.
Was an ok stay.
Rooms were not in the best of condition,no air conditioning per room, only when hotel put it on themselves,no coffee making facilities at all, plumbing not the best as we've experienced in other hotels, breakfast was awful but staff very helpful, would never go back disappointed as I booked visit for my wife's 50 birthday treat so was disappointed.I feel that compensation should be in order.
Rooms are hot with no air conditioning and broken
This was an average hotel, the breakfast was good with a nice variety of food which y friends and I enjoyed. However, I would say that the staff could have been a bit more helpful. When we arrived we wanted to shower but fund that the shower hose was broken ad was spraying water onto the ceiling which was creating dam and leaks. We told the staff but said there was nothing they could do about it until the next day. So we asked if there was any news the next morning and the member of staff at the desk sighed and almost grumpily said that they will get a maintenance guy in to fix it. It had been 2 days by this point since we had showered and had been very patient with the staff. Another problem was with the temperature of the room, as we stayed in July the weather was extremely humid and hot making the air flow in the room very limited and hot. We asked reception if we could have the air conditioning on but they told us it was broken so provided us with one small plug in fan. The next day we asked again for air conditioning as it was 35 degrees outside and said they had turned it on but noticed no difference in the room and it was another hot uncomfortable night.
Nice Hotel
Nice Hotel near to city centre cheap and cheerful.
Nice hotel, good location
It's in the Vinohrady area of Pragye which has lots of great restaurants and pubs in a walkable distance from the Hotel. The metro is a few minutes walking distance also. My only complaint is that we couldn't have the fridge on in the room as it would short the whole circuit resulting in no power. And how shower fixture was broken. A better selection of fruit at breakfast would be appreciated also.
This hotel is amazing! Is closed all old Prague
In this hotel the people work very nice and clean, room is amazing
A solid, no frills budget hotel.
Exactly as the title suggests. Staff were polite, rooms were clean, but really a cheap hotel that makes no pretence of being anything else. Close to the centre of the city (20 minute walk) and located on main tram routes. Would certainly use again if travelling alone, but the basic nature would make me advise couples against staying here.
Very tired hotel
Fridge in room broken, warm drinks,(staff not interested) no tea/ coffee makings in room, shower head broken (staff not interested) room clean but tired, beds ok. Dinning room breakfast only, no lunch, no evening meals, no bar. Breakfast ok when they remember that hot food should be hot. Location is a brisk 20 min walk to the Old Town but worth it when you get there.
Lovely hotel in a great location, great value for money. Didn't have any hot water one morning... But it hardly ruined the holiday! :)
Very satisfied . Staff was very helpful
I had a great time at Tivoli , Great staff , always there to answer any questions I had , And I had plenty !!!
Good hotel in a convenient location on Metro line.
Nothing exceptional but it is a good hotel and I would recommend it. Breakfast buffet is fine, though pretty much identical every day, and the dining space can get a bit too small if there is a larger group eating at the same time (as happened during my stay).
Door lock was challenging, TV did not work. I reported this to the front desk and work order was not placed. On a positive note, the front desk recommended a great guided bus, walk and river cruise tour that picked me up at the hotel.
Central location, walking distance to metro station. Elevator was out of order.
Very nice hotel, everything you need for a weekend
Great location only a 10 min walk to all the main attractions. Nice resturants close by.
Nightmare in Prague
Hotel was close to the centre, only a short walk required to get to the main sites. Breakfast was good. My whole experience ruined by being bitten severly by something living in the bed and/or room. When I complained to reception they didnt appear too concerned and when I asked to change rooms the receptionist asked 'Why?'. Have to say 2nd room was not a problem but the damage had been done.
Great choice and a great stay
Had a really nice time in the Hotel Tivoli, staff were very polite and accommodating. Only short walk to the Oldtown and train station were I visited Brno on two separate days. Breakfast was very good and lots to choose from and room cleaned every day with fresh towels.
Good breakfast, but room a little noisy. Overall fair value for money
We only had 3 nights and 2 days in Prague so wanted to stay close to centre of town, which we did and it was also very nice that we had air conditioning as it was so hot while we were in town. We would recommend this hotel to others. We also found the staff very nice, friendly and helpful, especially the manager who helped us get accommodation at our next destination and who recommended places to go there etc - thanks very much
Nice hotel, good location
Nice hotel, friendly staff, nice breakfast. I requested a quiet room so I got a courtyard room. I had problems with hot water but was given another room to shower on.
nice hotel near city centre
Convient near city's centre... all ok except on check out complained room hadn't been paid...sorted but 6am hassle not required.
Friendly Hotel near Old Town Salzburg & Riverwalk
Comfortable room and friendly staff. So convenient to the Riverwalk and the Old Town and the Train Station.
Problem with my room - there wasn't one!
Got to hotel only to be told there was a problem with my room, meaning they had overbooked. Not impressed. Was sent on a 10 min walk to a 4 star hotel which was the same price but better so in the end I was happy. Wonder how often this happens??
Great place to stay
Near train station and just 10 or 15 mins to old town prague
Nice hotel close to many attractions.
The staff were pleasant and accommodating. We had a great stay in a clean, modest hotel.
Within walkable distance to most spots
Nice place at affordable price within walking distance to most of the tourist spots. Good breakfast and courteous staff.
Good Value Hotel
The hotel exceeded my expectations for the price. Extremely good value if you don't want to pay for an expensive hotel but still want the comfort and convenience.
Nice hotel near square and not far from airport.
We had a lovely time in Prague. Went there for a friends Birthday. Hotel staff were very helpful. We got there at 10.30 and even though check in was 2 o click we could go staight to our room. They also let us leave our cases in a locked room after we checked out so we could still sight see without dragging cases around.

Great stay
Excellent stay, good value for money. They obliged to my requests and have been very helpful. Highly recommended.
