It was good. Hotel is handy to the Airport. So if you are on a short trip to Mumbai,this is the perfect location. I did a flying visit to some of the tourist attractions and traffic was not as bad as one is led to believe. One should be flexible enough to explore different mode of transport and then it is Ok. With in a day, I travelled in CAB, Auto (three wheeler) and a city bus. My overall experience of transport was wonderful given it was my first visit to Mumbai. On hotel front, I was impressed with their service. I was reminded of breakfast when I did not go for breakfast on last day of my visit due to fasting on that day. I think it was very nice for hotel staff to provide this service.

The restaurant was great. Such friendly and professional staff and great food. Comfy and clean bed. Cool TV. The shower leaked every day and I had to use up towels to absorb the water. The cleaning of the room wasn’t great. Upon initial arrival at the hotel they told me that my colleague didn’t have the right number of rooms booked. My colleague started panicking (we’d had a 16hr journey). But, they had made the mistake and muddled up the records (I identified this by seeing the wrong name on the papers) The manager didn’t apologise. When I made my initial review on Expedia the manager asked my colleague if I could speak to her instead of asking me directly. Weird. Sexism (he was Male and I am female)? She said it was because I was resting a lot: which was an utterly ridiculous excuse. She hadn’t checked my record for a telephone number. I explained the dirt in the room and the leaking of the shower and she said that she’d send up a cleaner in 10mins. They never arrived. The taxi driver (gotten at the hotel) on the last day was horrific: I mentioned my male friends and he thought that that meant I was a prostitute (I’m not!) and asked if he could have two hours with me. He asked me several times if I liked sex. He grabbed and stroked my hand. He told me that black people were not welcome in India. I was so shocked and upset. I spoke to the very friendly and professional taxi and events boss who was great and very apologetic. I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

The property is close to the airport but that is really the only thing that it has going for it. When i checked in I was charged an additional $20.00 USD for having my wife staying with me in the same room. The quoted room rate is very deceptive. If you are not traveling alone, much nicer hotels can be found in Mumbai for a similar price

- very poor wifi connection from anywhere in the hotel - renovation going on since April 1st. and it only stops at 8pm - hotel charges extra based on number of occupants, not based on the room you booked. 1 occupant in a double occupancy room is different from 2 occupants in the same double occupancy room

Had booked on Expedia and opted for King size bed. But was give room with two separate beds. Air conditioning not effective at all.

Nice clean hotel close to Mumbai Airport.

Comfortable Clean hotel with mod cons such as a tablet that allows you to manage the features in the room such as the TV, Lights, Aircon. Also lets you see who is outside the for and on the floor which is a nice security feature. The breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly. Located very close to the airport and they have a shuttle service which is why we stayed. There is no bar in the hotel but you can order non alcoholic drinks via room service and Ice.

Excellent staff and close to the airport. Easy to get cabs at anytime of the day, central to most of the better areas of Mumbai. Good value for a Mumbai hotel.

Good alternative to western name brands

Convenient location close to international airport, Good facilities and service (shuttles, breakfast, Wi-Fi). Unfortunately Airport shuttles no longer complimentary. And the TV in my Room 102 was ridiculously loud even at the lowest volume setting.

Executive style hotel

Friendly staff. Quick fish and check in. Very large room with an extremely comfortable bed. Bathroom has more than the average accessories and is also large. Everything was clean. Breakfast had a large selection and everything was fresh. Would definitely recommend as an airport hotel

Good hotel for those who are short trips

Arrival at hotel was late but staff very helpful. Had problems with door key card which was sorted by calling technical staff. This was my only disappointment as it took a little longer than I would liked as I arrived at 9pm and just wanted to rest for next morning flight. Breakfast was basic but would cater for the majority of the guests. Staff in the restaurant were very pleasant and helpful.

Nice hotel, close to airport

Hotel breakfast staff service and general staff service is excellent. They provide a service similar to 5 star hotels. Further airport transportation is included in the package which is a plus point, as all you need to provide is your flight details and rest will be arranged. Rooms were very clean, and the room / room service can be controlled via a tab which is a plus point.

Close to Mumbai airport

After a long international trip, it was nice to be picked up by the hotel's driver and to get to the hotel after a short 10 ten minute drive. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the buffet breakfast was delicious with so many choices.

Ita a great hotel overall with good staff and clean rooms. Rooms are pretty big in the two rooms that we stayed.

Good hotel, very clean and comfortable. System was slow for connecting the WIFI. This could be improved. Room are not sound proof. You could hear the water from the shower specially if you are a light sleeper.

Nice place to stop over

THIS Was a great place to stay as a stop over into Mumbai from U.K. Very close to the airport, less than 10mins. Free shuttle was very good. Rooms very big, clean and tidy. Staff polite and helpful. Restaurant was ok for breakfast and lunch choices. I would stay again as a place to rest before/after traveling.

Did not receive any confirmation fr Expedia or hotel re booking. When called 3 days before to cancel hotel said name not registered so no booking. Later informed booking of 3 days was fully charged and hotel refused to refund. On expedia form stated that no show gets charged 1 night only. Expedia says hotel refued to refund. Terrible!! I will not use expedia again to book my hotels and i will definitely npt rec Suba inbternational

Good hotel for the price

The hotel suba is near the airport. It has a good staff that will meet your every need. The room was very comfortable and had a tablet to control everything from the tv to the lights. The breakfast was a very nice Indian breakfast with an omelet making station.

Suba International Mumbai

The hotel is very similar to our traditional premier inn. The staff were very efficient and dealt with issues quickly. The complimentary transfer from the airport needs to be booked with the hotel at least 24 hours in advance of arrival / departure. The hotel taxi service is cheap and is the best way to see the local area. The buffet breakfast was limited in choice, however it did the job. There is no bar in the hotel which was a surprise but it did force you out into the local area.

My stay in the Hotel was only for half a day. Nice and clean rooms. Conveniently located close to Mumbai airport, with free airport pick up and drop off arranged by the Hotel. Hotel staff were helpful and courteous.

Hotel close to shopping malls and airport

Great hotel. 24hours room service Clean and neat Restaurant has a wide range of meals and they will try to satisfy us as a customer to provide the meal of our request. Really impressed.

Hotel was ok but ac in room did not work properly. After 24 hr travel we wanted to have a sound sleep but we wokeup after 2 hours due to high temperature in room and crying baby. Front desk brought a coover but it was very noisy. So after some time they moved us to another room. Overall there was no apology from management for such a horrible experI experience.

Close to airport

Booked as it was close to the airport and discounted after booking flights through Expedia. Only a few minutes from both airport terminals. Room pleasant but floor was not cleaned on our arrival. Staff friendly and buffet decent for the price.

Great Hotel

Great staff, very comfortable beds, good choice of breakfast. Modern technology to control the lights, TV and aircon in the room. Loved it, and would definitely stay here in my next visit to Mumbai.

Mumbai stay overnight

Nice room and helpful staff. Slight lack of coordination, couldn't get an Iron until the morning! However, the reception staff offered a free ironing service to compensate.

Hotel was not very nice. Pictures were not accurate of what we received and felt that $100 was too much. Staff was great though.

Nice and clean Hotel. Very less vegetarian option in breakfast and lunch/dinner. Good Airport pickup/drop off service. Staff is good and helpful. Only problem is room has some odor and they made 2 bed together as a 1 king bed which was terrible and my parents were not able to sleep comfortably.

Nice and reasonably priced near airport

We did not stay overnight at this hotel. We used it for an hour to take showers and change for our trip. Hotel provides a shuttle to the airport,which is very nice. Needed a prescription filled at midnight, asked about a pharmacy nearby and the front desk took the prescription from us instead and sent a member of their staff to have it filled for us and delivered to our room. Pretty amazing service and a nice touch.

Good hotel near the airport

The hotel has really nice rooms (however, there is a curtain in the shower, bathroom). The breakfast is nice. The airport pick-up driver sent by hotel did not understand simple English (e.g. Where are you?) so we needed to arrange a transfer on our own anyway.

Great place to spend a longer layover

I have been here before. This is a good place to spend a night before continuing on with your journey. Very close to the airports and a free shuttle service. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A decent free breakfast to start the day too. Reasonable value for the money. I will stay here again if I travel through Mumbai again.

Nice Enough

Professional and pleasant staff. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The hotel is modest and clean. We enjoyed room service, which was timely and well prepared. One small issue with the television was quickly fixed. By design the air conditioning vent is not helpful for good air flow. The room stayed slightly warmer than we like. This by no means is a deal breaker just a personal choice.

Very easy access to the airports in Mumbai

Not my first time here. It is a good choice if you just want to be near the airports. They do offer a free shuttle service to the airports as well. It is a good relatively inexpensive place to get a shower and get some sleep before continuing onwards. Rooms are decent and clean. The staff are friendly and efficient. The Indian buffet breakfast is free as well. I have no complaints, will stay there again.

A hotel with substandard food

Since I stayed for few hours 11 PM to 3 AM I can not comment on many things. I did not use free wifi and hence, I can not comment on this. I only ordered the food and it was horrible. A road side Dhaba will serve better food than I was served. Rotis(Chpatis) are so hard that it can be only served to Dogs. I can generalise that one can not stay in a hotel if food is so bad.

The entire experience was fabulous. I was picked up & driven straight to hotel. Staff were lovely. The room was very large & comfortable with everything you could need. The complimentary toiletries were handy as I was unable to have my suitcase with me. I was very happy with the entire service.

Nice service from hotel staff but some of peoples outside of hotel not really friendly specially for transportation charge,they suddenly increased amount of charge even we had made a deal before. I think hotel management must consider to prepare special transportation and guide their guests directly during they stay in hotel.

Nice hotel for transit

Suba International is one of our regular stay hotel in Mumbai, WIFI for room is improved than before but we have a bad time in airport pickup. Our flight reach at midnight and after 16 hours flight, we cannot find the hotel driver, we call to hotel and find the driver is holding a small strip of paper with my name without a hotel board sign, hope this get improved also.

Good hotel at a fair price.

I was very impressed with the hotel. It is quite new, finished to a good standard, very comfortable, everything worked in the room and the bed was good. (I had changed to this hotel following two nights in a similarly prices hotel where the beds were too uncomfortable to sleep and the street noise was bad). Although on a busy street the sound insulation is very good and virtually no traffic noise. Exceptionally well positionned for the airport .

More style than substance

This hotel is not near the airport. It is a very nice building, and it has a nice lobby. The room is very small, the bed is OK, and each of us had only one thin pillow. All electrical controls are by means of an iPad. The bathroom had one rag of hand towel and two well-used bath towels. The shower cubicle has a curtain but not barrier separating it from the rest of the bathroom. The nozzle of wash spray had not been cleaned as evidenced by fecal matter. The bathroom smelled of urine. No tissue paper in the room. I reported these to the management after I left and they assured me by email that they would take care of all these problems. Like most hotels in India, this hotel has more style than substance; more focus on high tech than on basic comforts. The restaurant provided excellent Indian breakfast as well as continental.

A Good Clean Comfortable 3.5 Star Hotel

I booked this hotel online based solely on reviews left by other guests, and I was not disappointed. The room was clean, well appointed and with all the expected necessary amenities. The beds were comfortable, service was good, which made for an overall pleasant stay.

Close the airport, but...

We didn't thoroughly enjoy our stay at Hotel Suba International - we felt tolerated rather than welcomed, we didn't particularly like the food, and while close to the airport, the area is rough and difficult to navigate.

Always a Sure Value

I always stay at the Suba whenever flying in or out Mumbai or picking up a friend a Mumbai Airport. The free shuttle is always efficient and saves a lot of hassle. The rooms are consistently clean and mattresses are extremely comfortable. WiFi is great, very strong and works great. Breakfast buffet is the cherry on top. Would definitely recommend the Suba Hotel.

A weird approach towards the guest!

Decent hotel, good value for money. However, they tend to treat the guest in a rather weird manner (I was drawn aside & told there should be no visitors to my room! At which point I confronted them about the rule about the marriage certificate I'd read about on the Net.When I wanted to check out the previous night since I had a very early flight the next morning, I was told it was not possible as the room had to checked before I checked out! Theoretically, the guest could tuck in the ipod placed there, or even the TV, I was told! I've stayed in several hotels, but this has never been said before. I gave the man at Reception a talking-to & suggested they should do their checks more discreetly, rather than treating the guest like a common criminal.
