location is excellent staff is good. but hotel called the taxi for me to the airport is cost more than regular taxi outside of hotel. i thought its good and trusted. but it is not. Be aware of the taxi called from hotel staff. uber is $20 but hotel taxi is $55

We had booked our room almost 9 months ago, yet we were given our two rooms facing a very busy and noisy La Rambla. The noise and bright lights were unbearable all through the night. There was constant rumble of the Metro trains running under the property. It was not a pleasant experience and I will not be recommending this property to friends.

Best hotel we stayed in our 15 days in Europe. Not only it has an amazing location but what made it very special was Javier and Danny. The made our check in easy and smooth, even gave us a map and recommended amazing restaurants among other great places. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing stay and pleasantly surprised to find this large, clean and beautiful room and hotel. . Great location with a view of La Rambla from our room. Everything is walkable and the La Boquria was steps away. All the major monuments were steps away and only minutes from the water and shopping. We were on second floor and when kept doors open, we felt we were part of the incredible energy around us. It became quiet when balcony doors were closed. Coffee was one of the best in room coffee we had. We also got a welcome wine which we don’t drink so perhaps check with guests if they want something else instead. There were bathrobes and room slippers. Check in was easy and Giselle and other staff made it memorable. They also helped us find a tour of Mont Serrat. Cons: room was so hot so we kept balcony open most day to cool the place down and turned off heat. Unfortunately no fans provided. There is construction downstairs right by the hotel so there is some noise and the road to drop off is a little away.

This was a nice and clean hotel with pleasant staff. Cute little balcony’s for most rooms. It is right on La Rambla, so even in the off season it does remain fairly loud outside at night. But it was an extremely convenient location near the metro, and many restaurants, shops, and cafes. Easy to walk around and get to all of the major city tourist spots via metro. A cute little rooftop bar too!

Excellent location. Close to public transport. Very clean and lovely rooms. I was dissapointed as we stayed here for my wifes 40th birthday and for our 20 year anniversary. I emailed the hotel and made them aware and they said they would put chocolates in the room. I also explained that we dont drink alcohol. On arrival we were given a voucher for 2 free drinks even though I had let them know we dont drink. In our room there was a complimentary bottle of wine which we ignored. They did not leave any chocolate and there was no acknowledgement to the birthday or anniversary. The hotel was very noisy as all sounds echo and there was no iron.

Great place to stay

We could not fault this hotel. We stayed in a suite on the 6th floor and it was great. All staff were very helpful and offered good, practical advice. The Rooftop bar was really good and the barman was entertaining.

Nice modern hotel in the middle of everything. Walked to the harbour, beach, Sagrada Familia and many shops. You don’t need a car from this spot.

Hotel was in a great location. Easy to get to metro and right along the Rambla. Also steps to the gothic quarter which was great for nightly dinners and fun. Rooftop bar was also not very busy every night but great for a pre-dinner drink. Staff was also super accommodating.. giving us umbrellas when we needed and also taking our bags for a few hours after we checked out. Room had 2 single beds pushed together which would slide apart every night. Typically they are tied together or have a blanket that spans both sides, but these didn’t. Welcome bottle of wine and personalized card was a great touch though! Our room as also very small but AC blew cold and made sleep easy. Construction out front of the hotel hampered access but wasn’t the end of the world. Make sure to check on this before booking.

Fab hotel, awesome location, really clean, spacious comfortable room with great balcony. Breakfast was superb and staff were friendly and helpful.

Great surrounding area.

Everything about the hotel was excellent however the noise from the top floor bar was extremely noisy all the way down to my room on floor 2. Continued till midnight. I shopped for another hotel in Barcelona for my next trip there. Would not say at SERHS Rivoli Rambla again. I make 3-4 trips there each year.

The hotel was lovely and clean. After a long trip in the suitcase, my clothes need to be ironed. This hotel, like many European hotels, did not have an iron or ironing board (or table). When I asked for one to be delivered, they brought me the college table-top model, but as I mentioned, also no table. For a hotel of this caliber, and cost, I would have liked an ironing board that I actually could have used.

Great location right on La Rambla. Nice rooms, always clean. The clear highlight was the rooftop bar - just a brilliant location for it, open until midnight, good selection of drinks, great music. Mainly though the highlight there was the barman - Juan was absolutely lovely. So friendly, chatty, welcoming - he took it from just another hotel to a place you built into your plans for every day. “Oh go on, let’s go and get some drinks upstairs and say hello to Juan”. Can’t say enough good things about him. “Michael Owen!” 😉

Stopover in Barcelona

Our stay in Barcelona was made very special by the friendly staff at this hotel, especially the front desk staff and Juan in the skybar. Close to Placa de Catalunya it made getting around the city easy and a wide range of restaurants and shopping close by. Having a balcony was an asset. Cleaning staff were attentive and my only slight annoyance was our room was beside the housekeeping room. They made a lot of noise quite early which did not allow us a sleep in which was disappointing. We loved our time in Barcelona and Hope to return one day.

We loved the location of the hotel and walked to many points of interest. Reception staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate the needs of their guests. Breakfast was excellent and had a variety of options.

Very accessible to lots of activities

The front staff are quick and very helpful. They assisted with transportation to the airport, which was easy and convenient. The room was very clean, nice and modern. The roof top bar was great and Juan was awesome!

Property was clean. Breakfast was great. There was construction on the main street for the hotel which made it hard for our rides to pick up and drop off. If this was listed as the current situation, we would have booked elsewhere for that reason. But other than that, had a grat stay

This property is in the Rambla area of Barcelona. The street construction in front of the hotel at the time made the sidewalk extra crowded. The area is very convenient for meals, shopping, catching Hop on Hop off bus for us. The staff stored our luggage safely while we explored the city waiting for our room. We had a lovely bottle of wine in our room (complementary) and enjoyed it on our balcony. The bed was comfy, the washroom spacious and up to date. Staff can easily call taxi for you to meet you across the street. Good choice for hotel.

The rooftop lounge bar tender plays great variety of music. He is very friendly and fun. The hotel star is also friendly and helpful our street balcony view was wonderful and the hotel was very clean with wood floors and good AC

This is a great place in the most well known street in central Barcelona. We were lucky to be upgrated to a suite with a private palcony and the view of La Rambla! The staff was always very helpful and willing to accomodate our requests. We were always on the go and didn't have a chance to use any the hotel facilities, including the restaurant and the bar, but they look appealing. We would definitely come back!

We made a mistake.

Construction in front of the hotel, made it difficult to get in and out with suitcases or for taxi pick up purposes The construction made it impossible to get any rest during the day as it was very, noisy. Now I understand why I was required to pay upfront.

This property is poorly maintained and lacks cleanliness. The water provided, even in the lobby, is barely lukewarm. The building is permeated by strange odors. Despite being assured by the receptionist that our room would be ready by 1:30 PM, it wasn’t available until 5 PM. To make matters worse, our room was not properly prepared; a greeting card intended for another guest was left behind. The bathroom ceiling above the shower leaked heavily, drenching the towels, sink area, and our personal toiletries. Although the staff attempted to address these issues by offering a complimentary breakfast and a drink card for the rooftop bar, the breakfast was reminiscent of a supermarket buffet. Given that we were in Barcelona for only two days with pre-existing plans and reservations, this experience was extremely disappointing.

Excellent Service

The hotel was conveniently located on Ramblas. Our room was large and clean. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The roof top bar and drinks were amazing. The only negatives: road construction directly in front of hotel (the taxi has to drop you off across the street and carry your bags through the crowds) and blow dryer in the bathroom (dryer was attached to wall - worst hair dryer I ever used). I suggest you bring your own if staying here.

The location of the property was excellent right in the middle of La Rambla with access to stores, restaurants, etc. The staff was excellent.

The room itself was a good size for hotels in Europe. Convenient location, however be careful at night. It is a seedy area at night. Service was good, however the hotel is not as clean as I would have hoped.

I liked the location of the hotel, it was very convinient. The hotel met all of my basic needs. I did like that I was on the second floor and didn't have to rely on the elevator. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean I reserved the room with a balcony, and they gave me a room with a courtyard patio. It was loud in the middle afternoon, due to an adjacent restaurant but it was closed later on the evening. the patio was cute, but bird droppings were on the patio furniture which the cleaning staff didn't clean, so then use of the patio was limited. The shower didnt have a door and the shower pan was shallow, so the water would run out onto the bathroom floor, so then you had to take a shower at half pressure to try to manage the spillage issue.

The hotel is very clean, luxury, staff was friendly, rooms were decent comfortable size for 2 people. Very centralize location next to everything and walkable to plenty of things.

The property was in a great location. However, the street outside of the hotel was closed off; therefore, cabs could not get close to the hotel for pick up. Public transportations was also readily available and everything you needed was on walking distance. Staff was accommodating to assist and be helpful.

Great location for tour buses and tax stops. The staff was lovely and helped book our tour buses and offered other reservations. The breakfast was a nice variety and they have mimosas. The rooftop bar was a nice addition. It’s not very big but very nice. Our bartender was great and we will be back!

Hotel was perfect for one night in Barcelona. There were stairs (only 2-3) to get to our room, from an elevator which was a little annoying considering we had a lot of luggage but not a deal breaker. The location of this hotel is optimal as it's close to everything. Will give location 10/10.

This hotel is in the middle of La Rambla. This is our second time at the hotel. We loved it the first time last year and decided to go back. Friendly staff, beautiful ambience. Love the sweet smell as soon as you enter. Breakfast was great as well, quite a variety. Excellent!!

We had two rooms and both rooms had cockroaches in them. Per request to change rooms one staff member rudely said do you have food in room and I said no than they said well housekeeping can come spray for them and Indianan requesting room change. They were able to change one room. they are small compact room with no lotion or iron. Location is in the heart of las ramblas street where major construction is going on and it’s very noisy. Mattress are not comfortable and shower does not drain. Overall for the price we paid it was an horrible experience.

The hotel was located right on La Ramblas only five minutes’ walk from the main transport links but next to the gothic quarter and market. Whilst Las Ramblas was very busy late into the night the hotel was tranquil, cool and very well located. Breakfast buffet was amazing!

Great in terms of walkability! But I recommend leaving La Rambles to eat. Beds were comfortable and clean.

Customer service needs improvement.

The customer service needs to improve, not at the 4 stars level the hotel considers its in. One person informs you of one thing and then another staff member says it’s wrong, make sure you get everything in writing that you consider important.

The free breakfast

I’d give it more stars if I could. The property is clean and very updated inside. The staff is incredible, from the lobby to the breakfast waiters to the bartenders at the rooftop bar. The location is absolutely outstanding, the room is great, and I thought the breakfast buffet was very much above average for a hotel’s breakfast buffet. It even had mimosas!

Although I loved the location and the rooms if you don’t mind late night noise this is your place
