Stunning ocean and mountain views from every room, jacuzzis over looking the ocean, heated pool, amazing breakfast spread, walkable to everything (restaurants, bars etc) and staff that couldn’t do more for you. What’s not to love?!
Great location, great service, you can walk everywhere.
Fantastic location! 10/10
Amazing stay at the Seramar Comodoro. Cannot recommend this hotel enough: fabulous location, friendly staff and beautiful hotel. Breakfast was fantastic with ample choices from pastries, fruit, pancakes and full English options with proper bacon and sausages! There are two sunbathing areas the VIP terrace is particularly relaxing as it’s adult only and has a stunning view across Son Matias Beach. Thoroughly enjoyed our staff here and would definitely return.
Great place to stay, the only issue I had was the air conditioning in the room.
Ok todo
A lovely hotel with beautiful view of beach and bay. Staff were helpful, polite and accommodating.
What a fabulous hotel! To start with the staff (Gloria) and manager couldn’t do enough to help with a small issue. They were so friendly It was my birthday and I got cava, cake and fruit delivered to my room, the hotel itself is lovely and each room has a sea view beds comfortable all in all a fabulous stay will definitely return
Staff made everything easy for me and took care of me i like i was their number 1 priority.
Balcony was very big, but the cushions in the lawn chairs was dirty. The room furnitures was very cheap, needed upgrades. The wash room had holes in the ceiling.
Terrible hotel with no air con and spa facilities. Undercooked food as well AVIOD!
Very enjoyable stay
Excellent hotel
The hotel is in an ideal position right on the beach. All rooms are sea view. There are plenty of bars nearby and nice restaurants. If you are half board, the food is excellent and good choices. The hotel is spotless and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I would thoroughly recommend staying at this hotel.
Enjoyable short break
Excellent location excellent staff Couldnt fault
The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The food options are amazing!!! Will definitely stay again.
The staff greeted us with a warm welcome and glass of champagne upon arrival. The view from the balcony was incredible - the best view we have ever had at a hotel and we travel quite a bit. The AC was a little light but manageable as it was 35 degrees out. We would recommend this hotel.
Breakfast wasn’t great. Everything a little Bit cold
Weekend breakaway
Very nice hotel in good location, near beach, shops and restaurants. Good service and breakfast. Many British pubs and restaurants in area. Nice pool and 2 jacuzzis but one did not work. Sewer smell in our room on the first floor during our first night but it disappeared afterwards. Beds were comfortable but 2 singles placed together. Overall neat hotel and good value for money.
Overnight stay with family
Pros: Great view, central location, easy access to beachfront and pool. Cons: Air con leaking and only solution offered was some towels to place on the floor. Limited breakfast options despite requesting the night before. Ordering airport taxis seemed a burden for the reception staff. Charged for bar bill on check out that had already been paid for. Shower was a slipping hazard. Customer service in addressing these issues was limited and poor.
Would stay again!
Very good hotel. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby but not too noisy. Very clean hotel with good breakfast and friendly staff. Only slight downside was the cost of parking on site. Would defiantly stay again though.
The hotel is fantastic location brilliant food absolutely awful
Hotel good except for the food which was the Most vile we have eaten in any hotel over the last 40 years.
Fantastic location, delicious breakfast, super friendly helpful staff. I would highly recommend the Comodoro Playa.
Great hotel, amaizing view, kindly stuff
Overall really good place, a lot of restaraunts around, beach is really clean and soft. Ohh, this amainzing view from window make stay unforgivable. Staff there really helpful. Greeting for Rita and Marina. Helped us to book really nice boat trip. Cheaper then from website. One of hotels which is not scary of this pandemie chaos. Everything prepared. We were one of first visitors in 2020, was couple problems with room after winter conservation, but everything was solved quickly.
Great location and superb balcony views
Fantastic location and excellent views of Palma Nova beach. The pool and terrace are very modern and new. I stayed half board and with breakfast and dinner caters for all tastes. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable with a good size balcony. I’d certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.
good location safe in room from the dark ages, these need updating. Nice staff
Location and staff Are exceptional New chef evening meals excellent. Lunch could do with some healthier options
Enjoyable 7 night stay
Really enjoyed our stay here the staff gave us the best of welcome, we loved the Sun terrace
Magaluf
Ok...Heavy drinking all around
Good location close to the beach, sea view, food is not the best , half board not includ any soft drink or water during lunch or dinner so we had to order and pay for it (no sense).
It’s definitely not a 4* hotel. However, beachfron
Definitely NOT a 4* Hotel, I’ve stayed at lots of 4* before but this should be rated as a 3* instead. The staffs service is extremely professional, friendly and courteous manner. The standard rooms are basic and the cleaning standards were minimal comparing to others hotels. The TV connection only works for 3 mins then cut off because of no Ariel. I don’t think any 4* hotel in this era should not be exploiting there guests for paying to use Internet Service when you don’t have satellite TV so that customers can relax if they wanted to at night time. The period of my visit they had 2 nights of entertainment which was enlightening. The area surrounding had a lot of restaurants and bars. If you walk 1 mile out the location has a entire night life.
Ideal position at the quieter end of Calvia beach
Ideal positioned for the beautiful beach & all the varied local amenities, & far enough away from the main centre of Magaluf. However, it wasn’t without noise throughout the night, both from outside on the main street at the front of the hotel, & from hotel residents returning after their night out. If you want a quiet stay, this position in Palma Nova is not the quietest! The main reception is modern, bright & tasteful. The dining room is large enough for all the residents to be seated comfortably. The food offered is varied, with themed evenings, & has a wide offer to residents of all nationalities. We didn’t use the pool area, which was small & featureless, preferring to pay extra for two beds & an umbrella on the beach (€13.50 daily, whatever time you hire it from - no half day rate). The bedroom was large, clean & comfortable, with lots of storage & a balcony with a beach view, with maid service daily. However, the bathroom decor was very tired, & the bathroom door to my room was missing, which wasn’t an issue to me as I was single occupancy. I wasn’t advised of this, so on questioning reception, they explained that it was due to be replaced at any time. However, the hinges with the rough glass edges remaining hadn’t been taped over to avoid injury, a safety issue that hadn’t been addressed. The corridor to the bedrooms was outdated & dull, & the bedroom doors didn’t close quietly which contributed to the noise issue of residents returning back.
Nice hotel, close to the beach, shops, restaurants. Dinners could be better.
Pleasantly surprised, but only one let down.
Overall I was surprised at just how good my holiday was given some reviews I had read about the hotel. There was only one let down and that was one particular staff member on reception. I arrived with two friends and we are aged between 24 & 27. I can understand that the locals may now be fed up with boozey brits wrecking the place for the last few months, however, we were not there for one of those holidays. So we did not appreciate that on checking in we were told "You go out, you do what you like. But when you get back here you go to your room and you sleep, nothing else! One bit of noise or one complaint, we call the police and you are gone". It was a very confrontational greeting and we later found out a couple behind us had heard the way we were spoken too and they were surprised by the tone as well. However, moving on to the positive, every single other member of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We got on great with them and they are happy to laugh with us as well. During October, the hotel mainly has older guests, but even they were all friendly and loved chatting with us. The food was fantastic but I could see how if you're staying for a week or more it might get a bit repetitive. The staff are very generous with the alcohol and certainly don't skimp on it. The view from our room on the 6th floor was amazing. The weather was great. The beach was amazing. Overall I'd 100% recommend staying here to anyone and would definitely stay again!
Close to beach
Staff aren't helpful and don't have any interest for customers. Don't know what customer service is. Food is standard if not fussy eater
Great Hotel in a great location
On arriving at the hotel at 2am, I was given a room on the 7th floor which I requested in advance securing great beach views. The room had everything I needed and was clean. As with all hotels in the area, there is a surcharge (€3 per day,) for the room safe and no tea/coffee making facilities. Air conditioning is provided but struggles to cope with the heat even if left on for hours. The LCD TV had some channels in English like BBC world news as well as a few American channels. Even though I was getting up late every day, housekeeping were good in not waking me, by cleaning the neighbouring rooms. I also didn’t encounter a single insect in my room throughout my 10 night stay. As this hotel is smaller than others, breakfast/diner options were limited. This wasn’t a bad thing as the food was varied every day and of good quality. What really sets this hotel apart from the others is the location. It’s perfect for both Palma Nova or Magalluf and has fantastic access to the beach and unobstructed sea views. This is my fifth hotel I’ve tried in the area and the best I’ve stayed in to date.
Great location
Food choice wasn't great and the air conditioning was useless. Apart from that, lovely hotel and great location
Great hotel right on the beach!
I have never had a hotel experience that left me this satisfied and relaxed. We flew into Mallorca late at night, expecting to have to go and find some fast food after checking in to our hotel. The hotel had two plates of food waiting for us and some free water and bread as well. Then, two of our meals were included which we did not know, breakfast was one and then you chose dinner or lunch each day. The staff were friendly, they printed our boarding passes free of charge before we left. The hotel has direct access to the beach. The only complaint I had was that you have to pay if you would like to use the jacuzzis, and it closes at 6pm so in the heat of the day it's not worth paying to use, if it had been open into the cool of the evening I would have done it. Overall, I have already recommended this hotel to all of my friends. Reasonably priced for what you get and a beautiful view of the ocean from our balcony.
I wish they provided a better wifi solution.
It was very easy to check in and out. Great bar tenders and great food or access to restaurants in the area
Good choice
Great food with plenty of choice, hard working staff and great location are just 3 reasons we will be going back to this hotel again.
Short break
Hotel in good location right next to the beach. Really close to Magaluf if you want to check out the night life like 10min walk. Food choice could have been better but last loads of eating places around if doesn't suit. You have to pay for the VIP roof terrace which we didn't as it's a whopping 20euro per person to go up there and sit in the jacuzzi. Pleasent stay overall
charging 5 euro a day for wi fi is scandalous. charging 20 euro a day to use the upper sun beds also not on, empty every day we were there! only had breakfast and wasnt impressed with that. staff at breakfast also not pleasant. not 4 star!
Hotel revisited
Hotel revamped since last visit Reception, rooms excellent Food on all inclusive reasonably good Watch for the additional charge for VIP Terrace although very good Steep at 20 euros a day 10 for 1/2 day Location cannot fault. And have returned for the past 7 years
Best hotel I've been to in Majorca!
This was the fourth time I've been to Majorca and by far the best hotel I've stayed at so far. Situated right on the beach, we had a sea view that was beautiful. The room had a balcony and was clean with a huge king size bed. The staff were wonderful when our flight was cancelled and we had to make other arrangements. Would certainly recommend it to anyone and can't wait to return.
Very nice place to stay
Very nice clean hotel with nice VIP area. Room nice and spacious and very clean all have a lovely view of the sea Restaurant clean and food very nice Reception very nice we arrived late on a Friday night and we were greeted with a plate of cold meats and rolls we did not expect this but was a very nice touch Bar area is nice and have a nice choice of cocktails Pool are is clean but does seem to have a lot of shade most of the day but the beech is a nice alternative and not to expensive for the sun beds there is a vip area but this is at an additional cost of 10 euro's per person per hour
Nice view of bay
Nice hotel needs a refit but overall a good place to stay.
Excellent mini break.
Reasonably short taxi ride from airport, right on beach and close to lots of fine restaurants.
Annual visit
Usual high standard of staff, rooms modernised ,couldn't fault restaurant
FUN
It was great
uncomfy beds
We stayed in room 709 Beautiful outlook from Balcony. Very clean room with good service from room service. Could do with new beds very squeaky with the least movement . We enjoyed our stay and would use hotel again. Down side was breakfast very much the same over the 10 days and staff seemed very stressed a little smile or a good morning in what ever language or even eye contact. I know they are working but we were on holiday and that was the reason for them being there. Shame as we don't like to complain.
Beautiful view
Stayed here with two friends for four days on half board, beautiful sea view rooms, helpful staff, great location. We had a great time and would certainly return
Close to beach but awful food
Close to beach and magaluf strip ten seconds away but down side was half board and food was very poor and small glass of fruit juice or water you have to pay for
Right on the beach! Amazing buffet breakfast!
Overall very nice and good value for money. Friendly staff. Right on the beach.
Fantastic hotel with great sea views
Every thing was fantastic except the entertainment
Excellent Location, but not good food.
Excellent location - Spot on at the beach with all rooms with sea view but dissapointing part is food if you go all inclusive or half board. Even water is charged!!! Cleaning only happens once in while - if you miss then cleaners are gone for atleast 2 days. Palma Nova is best place to stay as its close to airport (20 mins), Magaluf - party scene ( 5-10 mins) and decent place to explore the island if you have car (I didnt try any excursions). I would go there for the price I got minus food. They delighted us with sparkling wine as it was my partners birthday so no complaints...delighted with stay overall and would recommend if it fits your budget. Its not a 4 star but definitely a good 3 star hotel. Near by restaurants are good and beach has white sand and lovely water to dive in. One more thing - wifi is charged!
Great location
This hotel has a great location, right next to the beach. We stayed on a B&B basis and it was good. Would come back.
Right on the beach, friendly staff brilliant hotel
Excellent hotel, lovely staff and perfectly situated, will definitely return.
Great Service BUT
Enjoyable stay. Good service and location. Bar area and dining room in good condition, otherwise decor looked tired. Good view from room but air con noisy and non functioning bathroom extractor fan. Pool area slightly small . Good food. All inc. option was good. In all far more positives than negatives.
Great hotel and location, but not a quiet getaway
We chose the hotel because it had free parking, is close to Palma de Majorca, and right on the beach. The hotel has a pool, free breakfast, and easy access through the back gate to a beautiful, albeit busy, beach. Parking is free, but limited. The parking lot is very small and you might have to get creative with parking. That being said, I never had the situation of not being able to park at all. Something you might want to know if you are driving there: you need to drive to the entrance gate (the one on the right if facing the hotel, the 2nd gate as you drive up), and honk your horn. They will open the gate from inside. (By gate, I mean pole as is normal for parking areas.) All rooms face the beach. We had a lovely view with a balcony. The staff was helpful with things and gave advice. A couple nights we didn't have airconditioner. I found the third night that a lot of times when we closed the window, the curtain got caught in the window, not allowing the airconditioner to turn on (it turns off when the balcony door is open to save energy). Don't make this silly mistake. Otherwise the room stayed cool. The room service didn't restock our shampoo and body soap. The front desk had no problems giving us more, though. The hotel is in a very noisy location being right next to the bars. Not only were people yelling at night on the beach, but people were loud in other rooms & balconies as late as 2AM. If you are a light sleeper, take this to heart.
Great Hotel good location
Good view nice staff and a vary big bed wood go back Tomorrow
great base
Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful, rooms are very good ,probably among the best you can get in magaluf. I would definitely stay here again.
Centre of Magalluf
Hotel is quite old but staff very nice and helpful
Great location and lovely staff
We stayed all inclusive but we were worried some reviews had said the food was terrible, turns out what those people meant my "terrible" was actually, "Spanish". The food was lovely, probably the only authentic dishes you'll find in Palma Nova but there were other options, so I thought it was great and I'm pretty fussy. The Staff were lovely and the location was perfect, right on the beach. The hotel does look a bit dated and the bar could certainly do with an update, it's a bit soulless and very 1970's. The only other minor thing is you have to pay for a safe which is unusual in a four star hotel, (although I'd actually say it was more a 3 and a bit star). Oh and the wifi connection was costly and rubbish, it had a 90 second time out. You might put up with that if it was free but the for the amount it costs, there really should be a flawless service. All that said, (and despite really bad weather), we had a great time and I couldn't speak more highly of the great staff and positioning of the hotel.
Great weekend
We just stayed there 2 nights for a get away weekend. Aside from a not functioning door to our room, everything was pleasant. Great environment.
Bello
Nice seaview room and service minded personnel
The mattress and pillows were wonderful. I love having a balcony although ours faced the pool. The room was quiet however you can hear people on the running machine above in the gym. Not enough storage surface space in bathroom. I think the parking shoykd be free for patrons. Other than these small things our stay was very enjoyable.
