Hotel has an excellent breakfast. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is convenient being located across from the Central Train Station. COOP and Migros stores are located close to hotel. Shopping is excellent.

A lovely and stylish 1930s style hotel with modern amenities. Staff were all excellent, we particularly enjoyed the butler passing out free chocolate from his cart. Easy access to the train station and thus serves as an excellent springboard for site seeing. The restaurant was also excellent. It has a posh atmosphere and serves great tasting food for great prices.

A beautiful lux property across the street from the central train station - most convenient for catching an early morning train. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

I had a wonderful stay! The single room with twin bed was a comfortable size, and the twin bed was larger than expected. The room was well insulated, and I did not hear the other guests or the street noise. The hotel does cater to an older crowd, but the staff was friendly and attentive. It was a convenient location to travel around Switzerland and Zurich and very walkable to cafes and restaurants. I felt safe at the hotel as a single woman traveling on my own. Highly recommend and will definitely return.

If I could give them 10 stars I would. They made our 30th anniversary a most special occasion with an upgrade and lovely rose petals throughout our room along with other delights. The chocolatier was a wonderful treat every night. The staff anticipated every need and always exceeded expectations. The location is perfect and the amenities were five star. We can’t thank them enough for making our anniversary so special.

An excellent hotel with impeccable service, spotlessly clean and an attention to detail rarely seen. I travel widely for work and pleasure and this is up there with the best that I have experienced. A real understated classy grand hotel where nothing is too much trouble. Now my first choice for Zurich.

Right across Zurich HB-main train station ; Great hotel. The noise of station is minimized and not an issue. Fantastic food and service.

Overall we loved the property! The staff was so friendly the location awesome, the breakfast excellent! Loved the trolley that came by every night with the chocolates, thank you Peter! We would definitely stay again but book a larger room. We had a standard room which although lovely was a little tight. 🙂

Perfect location for accessing the main train station in Zurich

This hotel is in a very convenient location, located directly across from the train station. Easy walking distance to all the must hit spots in Zurich. The staff was great; providing us great advice for dinner and a few activities for the kids. Would stay here again - to be honest, I wish we had stayed in other Schweizerhof Hotels in other cities.

Classy, clean, friendly.

The location is great due to the train station being so close to the hotel and shopping areas. The restaurant was only open in the evening, but the cafe was nice. The bartender was excellent. There is not a luggage cart so it takes a bit of time to get the luggage out of the room and the storage is small. The bathroom was good size and the bathroom amenities were nice as well.

The property is overall nice and so is the staff. My only problem was with the room given. It was very small set against a corner and did not match the pictures. It felt as if Expedia platinum members are not welcome here.

Excellent. Beds had controls to raise part of the bed so head is upright. We liked being near train station for easy commute.

Very quiet and calm for a hotel located in the heart of the city. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this wonderful Hotel. I hope to be back soon!

We stayed 5 nights in a very cold and wet Zurich, but hotel room was superb and service was excellent. Breakfast ample and delicious, and hotel gave us two free evening drinks daily in return for taking "green" opt-out from room cleaning, though they still did the basics. Reception and concierge services very professional and helpful (ask about the boat trip down the Limmat included in a tram ticket!)

It’s very close to the train station and very convenient to shops and restaurants. It is a nice walk to the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay again.

Nice building, but somewhat tired room. Bed was fairly uncomfortable and leaned to one side. Rest of room fine and bathroom clean and well stocked.

I really liked this place, the staff was very friendly and the hotel amenities like concierge and butler were great. It was my birthday during my stay and I got a nice card and a cake. The location is superb, just in front of the main railway station and the Bahnhofstrasse.

Great stay in Zurich

The Schweizerhof is a great hotel. It’s right beside the main train station so is perfect for anyone arriving or departing by train. The rooms are comfortable and recently renovated. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly. I had dinner in the dining room on one evening and it was superb.

:Location, location, location. Stepped out of the great train station into the lovely hotel within minutes. Staff was professional, warm, and efficient. Lovely room and elegantly served breakfast. We will remember this venue as a home away from home on future holidays.

Absolutely should be one of my best hotel I've living. Stay 4 nights and having a very happly home stay experiences. All staff of the hotel is so friendly and helpful. Smiles, informative and excellence service. Much better than most of the 5 star hotels. Highly recommended for sure. Will sure to go back nextime when visit Zurich.
