Excellent business hotel in Microcentre
Business class hotel in microcentre. Very nice large room with bath. Good bedding and quiet room for sleeping. Good WiFi. Very good breakfast. Some English films on TV channels. Good area for relaxing outside. However pool would be improved by being heated as very cold. Room would be improved by the provision of a kettle or coffee maker.
Great Hotel, and a good location
It’s a dated and beautiful property, staffs at the front desk, restaurant were awesome. Having issues with the AC unit. Dropped something on the floor and it landed under the bed, pretty gross with garbage there, looks like haven’t vacuum under there in awhile.
Lovely hotel, walkable, and front desk staff was beyond amazing. So helpful and attentive, would definitely stay here again.
I enjoyed by stay at the hotel. The hotel is located at a really great location. Unfortunately, we had a lower floor and street facing, we can hear a bit of noise from the street.
Lovely hotel in a fairly central location that made it easy to walk to all the places we wanted to go, staff very friendly and helpful.
The hotel is clean and quiet despite being on a transited street. Staff was nice and attentive.

I pre-paid the hotel at the time of booking, was also charged full amount at time of check out. I've sent multiple emails to the hotel asking for a refund and not a single response. Hotel condition is what has been described in previous reviews, it is very tired and worn down. 2 elevators and yes, one is indeed broken. The 12th floor button in the working elevator does not work, so you need to get off at the 11th floor and use the stairs to get to floor 12. As previously stated, the only good thing is the central location. Otherwise not impressed with what you pay for.
Pleasant business style hotel
Very comfortable hotel in the microcentre Buenos Aires. Very good breakfast. Room quiet, good WiFi, nice bathtub.
Well located for most things, or a short taxi ride away. Quiet on upper floors, breakfast decent. Generally a comfortable place, though needs a bit of an upgrade. The 2nd time I stayed here the window in the room was damaged so had to move rooms. Sockets for electrics needed replacing. Would still recommend.
The umbrellas, in the pool area, are not working.
Clean and comfortable
Front desk staff was great. Rooftop top staff very slow to respond.
good
OK
Buenos Aires, before cruise
Very comfortable bed, good shower, good breakfast and bar, nice location for city centre. We did have to move rooms half-way through stay as curtains fell down and staff unable to fix - but they handled this professionally.
Location and personable staff.
Staff was super helpful at every turn!
Wonderful place and staff. Could use tissue in the bathroom
Good property with great position near the Calle Florida and great for walking around Buenos Aires. Room was a bit run down, stains in bathroom, no plugs for bath? However beyond this room was very nice and the terrace gives a great view of the city. Staff/Front Desk was a bit poor, always slow to respond and always seemed to be a queue to speak to someone which is never a good sign!
It is centrally located although being a small one lane street you have to stop traffic for loading or unloading luggage. No hotel personnel to help you with this or to take you to your room. With some exceptions like Matias at the downstairs restaurant attendants are not overly friendly. Great food at the first floor restaurant but breakfast is the same every day with the scrambled eggs sometimes cold. Rooms are neither big nor small. Great value overall. Would repeat.
Nice room with great bathroom. Decent breakfast. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Definitely would stay again.
Great boutique hotel in Palermo
Hotel is in a great location in Palermo near tourist shopping. Rooms are on the small side, but it's an old building. There's a lovely first floor lounge to make up for that. The shower was weird - it never really drained right, but had great water pressure. Rooftop bar was great. Food at main floor restaurant was not good and expensive.
Great hotel, location and the sky bar was perfect
no benefits recieved and they said i dranked a bottled water that was already opened even tough I reported it.
none
Rude front desk, dirty rooms with stains on wall as and light switches
Good spot
Short stay with friends. Excellent location, really nice hotel would stay again. Unfortunately, there was a strange odour in my room which I think. Was the drains, persisted even though cleaning staff had used air fresheners. Interesting artwork, would recommend others.
Not like for like
The Pulitzer moved us to another hotel supposedly since they had a bed bug issue with the one bedroom left. They tried helped us to the other hotel which was NOT good. Room may have looked like an upgrade and a few $$ cheaper but the noise from the main road was terrible and breakfast is horrible.
The staff were great! The location is close to business parks and tourist attractions. When I reserved my room on Expedia, there was no notification that the pool was not open and it was summer time when I arrived. Apart from that, quite convenient
Home sweet home
The Pulitzer is centrally located for easy access to various areas of interest. Many facilities one needs as a tourist (laundry, money changers, mini mart, a few restaurants, shopping) are within a 5-10 min radius walk. Breakfast buffet is very good. Service all around has been helpful and excellent. We were in and out of this hotel through out our 1 month in Argentina. We left some luggage in between trips. Very very convenient. Its as safe a location as any big city location.
Excelente la localización servicio al cliente
🙌🙌🙌
Cozy location
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located and well placed for getting around. Not too many restaurants but all other services like outside laundry, mini mart, money changers all close by. We’re staying at this hotel thru various in and out travel thru BA. Luggage storage between stays is allowed. No room upgrade or welcome drinks though.
Nice Hôtel in the center of Buenos Aires
This is the one!
Amazing staff and great hotel
Value for money, not worth. Toiletry is very limited, e.g no shower gel, little bottle of combined shampoo and conditioner. Everything is poor and limited, reflection of the country economic situation. The rate is very high for what they offer.
Very accommodating and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Convenient location to explore the city.
Very gracious staff. Let us check in 3 hours early and held our bags for 5 hours while we shopped. Nice breakfast, and well decorated.
I appreciated how attentive staff was. This with the cleanliness of the room and location made for a really nice stay!
Good hotel, in a convenient location
It's a small renovated hotel with a great location in Microcentro, very close to Galerias Pacifico Shopping mall and there are lots of restaurants around. I went there on business, I'll definitely come back.
freindly service
Very comfortable
Bad customer service. Staff wasn’t friendly at all
A nice property but the restaurant needs some more options for dinner.
Excellent value. Good location.
Perfect turistic place
Comfortable hotel with great location
The property is nice. The room where I've been was comfortable clean and spacious. Wifi was good enough to connect my phone to the tv and watch the shows I liked.
La ubicación
Excellent place for business trip
Big space in the room
Everything is very close from the hotel, at a walkable distance. Lot of restaurants, museums and teathers.
We decided to stay here for one night due to the location as we wanted to do last minute shopping before flying back home to Europe the next day. The location did it's job but everything else was okay. The most disappointing for us was the staff as they were not friendly at all, from the moment we checked in to checking out, they made us feel that we were not welcomed to the hotel.
Love the property and I would stay there again. The outside was dirty and but not the hotel. The hotel was great and cleaned. food was great at the Resturant there.
Good hotel and location.
Good location and friendly staff. Happy with the room although would like a coffee maker or kettle. No usb ports in room and plugs didn’t fit our iPhone chargers. Fortunately reception lent us adapters so all good. We stayed 4 nights then left our luggage for one night while we visited Uruguay and returned for a fifth night. Room on first stay was on 3rd floor and we were very happy with it. Our last night was one floor from the top and there was a bar above us that we could hear the music from the room - not overbearing but a bit distracting. Fortunately we were very tired so didn’t disturb for long. Breakfast was really good.
Wifi was horrible. No telephone. Someone stole their telephone cables a couple weeks ago and they have not repaired. Hallway carpets are filthy and in need of carpet shampooing. The people at front desk were great especially Bautista.
Great clean hotel in the center of the city . Convenient location, good restaurants around. Restaurant down stairs is excellent! Loved my stay !
Roof top bar
We were very happy with the Hotel Pulitzer. We would call it an eclectic boutique hotel. Quite old, but very well maintained. Very knowledgable, helpful staff. Hotel had all the amenities you might need. A lovely breakfast room with a nice variety of items. An attached restaurant where we enjoyed dinner one night. The hotel is within walking distance to historic buildings, parks and a pedestrian mall for shopping. We found nothing negative about this hotel and would highly recommend it.
Excellent location, front desk team are very friendly and helpful, the room very clean and beautiful, you have all attractions close by and is very safe to walk around and they let us in early because we arrived early and at the time to check out our flight was at night they let us stay at first floor they protect your luggage until you leave and they have on the 7 floor area to take a shower if is needed the 13 floor sky bar excellent and very nice staff and is the attraction in the area. Definitely recommend this hotel.
Excellent service by all in front desk and housekeeping. Pillows not ok all the time, had nice ones, then changed for kind of bricks, asked and was fixed. Overall excellent service, ok facilities, shaky area
Hotel is in a good area and staff was wonderful. They allowed us an early check-in due to our flight arriving that morning. Also, they drew a map and gave us directions to anything we asked about including restaurants and things to see. I would certainly stay here again.
The hotel and staff are great. Location is excellent;you are able to walk to all major sites easily or catch transit close by for those who have walked enough. The breakfast will give you a good start to your day, coffee-if you add a bit of cocoa, is fine....they have sliced meat, cheese, eggs, fruit, yogurt, cereal and granola, breads and pastries...what more do you need. Florida street is right there with shops galore....
Very nice hotel
The hotel was overall very good - Skybar was great. The pool was a little small. Good breakfast.
The check in and out very smooth. The concierge staff could not be friendlier nor more helpful. Theyvwere fantastic.
Very good hotel. Would stay here again.
Very nice hotel, clean and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was great. Walkable and close to many attractions.
Great hotel with nice rooms. Very good location and the roof top bar is a nice touch.
Great hotel in Buenos Aires
Clean, friendly and great food. Rooftop bar amazing with great snacks to enjoy.
My stay was excellent … great food & service
Everything was good
Delightful Stay!
The stay at the Pulitzer was great! Loved the location in Retiro with wonderful parks, shopping and incredible restaurants close by. Loved the Sky Bar and the main floor bar. The suite was very comfortable with a great bathroom.
Very pleasant and helpful. FYI plugs in this hotel are the I (3 flat prongs not 2 round)
Nice hotel with friendly staff. Room did not have mini bar or coffee as described
Definitely would stay there again. From the smell when you enter, we just loved to the style and decor, just beautiful. Couldn't have gotten a better location as well and staff were super friendly and helpful.
Lovely hotel in need of a little TLC
This has been a great hotel. Getting a little tired. Our suite was gorgeous and good value. But the air con dripped and there were plumbing issues. The shower was great. The pool isn’t really useable as it’s in full sun on a strange patio half way up the building and the rooftop bar doesn’t seem to be in use. The downstairs bar is lovely and restaurant looks nice but wasn’t busy at all so we avoided. The location is very central and there’s a great coffee place a few doors away. It’s a shame because the hotel really looks great but is just a bit tired.
Older but very clean, nice included breakfast and wonderful staff.
No washcloths and no Kleenex/facial tissues. I was told I had to buy them at the pharmacy.
Very good hotel .
This is a great hotel. Soon it will need major repairs to the rooms and bathrooms. Enjoy our stay
Close to shopping and downtown events
Convenient Hotel for Location at Reasonable price
the hotel has excellent location close to great shopping and restaurant/bar choices. The hotel could use some upgrades but we found our room comfortable. The staff was great about recommendations for entertainment and dining and were super helpful. The price was right for this hotel and we were very satisfied with our stay.
Very fun rooftop bar/cafe! Rooms beautifully decorated with nice mix of old and new items. Desk staff and wait staff very friendly and helpful. Great bed. Nice room layout for a little privacy
Hotel Pulitzer
Great stay, excellent location. Very clean and comfortable. Only downside was spotty wifi in my room, but it was fine in the lobby and lounge.
Hotel is nice just not properly clean when we got to the room. Also thanks for letting us have late check in since out flight is not until night.
Wonderful stay.
Pleasant large room, friendly helpful staff and well maintained hotel. Just a difficult time keeping water from the shower from leaking onto bathroom floor.
The closeness to everything. Very walkable!
Staff were professional and attentive. They were all multi lingual, which was very helpful. The rooms were clean but there were some maintenance issues. The bathtub could only use as a shower because there wasn’t a stopper and we discovered that the windows were broken and unable to lock. It made the room noisy at night, so not as restful as we would have liked. We were on an upper floor so we didn’t feel unsafe. Breakfast was convenient with several selection. If you are American don’t expect a full meal but it was ample enough to start the day. We enjoyed the bar and there was a nice selection of cocktails. Overall a comfortable experience with an inviting atmosphere.
This hotel, staff is good but very noisy with passing vehicles, specially 101-106 and 201-206/301-306/401-406 low floor is terrible noisy and around hotel not safely places
On the heart of Buenos Aires, close to many places to visit. Safe area.
Good restaurant but unimpressive rooms
Very ordinary. Standard check-in time is 3pm and room was not ready by 3pm. They gave me a room with a terrible view despite I communicated my preference prior. They changed the room for me when I requested but by that time customers were not happy already. Inside the room , multiple lights didn't work. The bathtub also didn't work. Sound proof was bad. This hotel has a great restaurant and a cute rooftop bar, but the rooms themselves are not something to be desired.
Super convenient hotel in the center of Buenos Aires. Best price around for 2 or 3 nights. Room is basic but very clean and staff was super useful.
Pros: Clean, safe and convenient location. Cons: 12 floor rooms below bar, too much noise. They change my room next day but no A/C working properly on new room and boiler for warm water.
Good hotel for a city break. Well located . Would give 5 stars but some noise from other rooms and all access is by 2 slow lifts.
Great helpful staff, clean, comfortable room in a well-situated area of the city. I recommend Hotel Pulitzer.
nothing special, in the room the power sockets are not really fixed on the wall so you have to be carefull. It s more an old and date 4 stars hotel
Satisfied
Great location … staff very cordial .. competent .. Boca de Toto its dining room is fine … even when not here as a guest .. I go for menu of the day .
Nice hotel, well located
The hotel was nice. The staff wasn't the friendliest or most engaging and I'm not sure whether that was because of the language. It was well situated, although there was quite a bit of construction going on and it was noisy in the morning.
nice hotel in BA centre
nice hotel in centre of buenos aires. Nice roof top bar
Dull Stay
Nice and attending staff. Good location to shopping and restaurants. Old and dated property. AC did not work properly in either of the rooms we had. The bathrooms kept clogging up. Fridge was not stocked up with water and we were charged for consuming it when indeed nothing was provided. Ok breakfast. Definitely not a 4 star property or stay.

Staff was very friendly. The room was clean. The neighborhood was quiet with plenty of shopping and restaurants at walking distance. Train station just a short walk
