Hotel was conveniently located for the old town however we found it very noisy. We were woken many times by other guests coming in late at night. We also heard noise outside of the hotel. Room was however comfortable and very spacious.

Good option for short stay in Palma

Lovely little hotel in the center of Palma. Great service from the staff dealing with my unexpectedly late check in due to canceled flight. Would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at palau sa font. Starting with the location of the hotel, it’s very accessible and right where you want it to be, next to all the important places. The place is magical, very nicely decorated and our room was very nice. The pool and the rooftop are a great addition. The staff are very friendly and overall we had a lovely stay!

A relaxed, calming atmosphere in a pared back, but stylish boutique hotel. Always our 1st choice for a few days stay in Palma, be that for a short break or a for a few days at the end of a holiday elsewhere on the island before heading back home.

Quiet hotel in the center of Palma.

I can’t fault the staff at Palau Sa Font. Our suitcase was taken to our room for us and the staff packed us a breakfast as we had an early flight. The decor of the hotel is very kitsch, and very cute. We didn’t have any meals at the hotel but the eating area looked quite small. Our room was lovely, a decent size and clean! The bed was super comfy, it was just a shame I couldn’t get any sleep because of all the noise from the street. We stayed on a Friday night, and all night long I could hear people up and down the road. The terrace area is quite small, with room for about 5 people on loungers. We didn’t use that much however as the pool was out of order, which was a shame. Overall, I’m not sure I’d return to Palau Sa Font. It looks the part but I’m not sure it’s somewhere to get a good nights rest and a have a relaxing time in the sun.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and classy with a really nice shower room and furniture. There was a mini bar in the room but no tea or coffee making facilities. You can use the pool and there is a tower with beautiful views over Palma old town and you can see the cathedral and castle in the distance. The location was perfect, right in the old town and near the sea front, you can walk to the cathedral in minutes. Breakfast was great, variation of hot egg dishes each day, breads, meats, cheeses, cereals, fruit, yoghurt and nice coffee! Our room was right next to the cleaners room which could be noisy in the morning, however it didn't bother us too much. Would return.

The 3 reception staff were very nice and helpful. The bed and room were clean and very comfortable. I enjoyed the rooftop area to get fresh air and view of the city.

Great little hidden gem of a hotel!

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location, a stones throw away from restaurants and shops, but tucked away down a really quiet street. The room was really nice and clean and breakfast was good too. The staff were also super helpful. Be sure to check out the viewing tower at the top of the hotel, with 360 views and if the cathedral!

Wonderfully located in the old part of Palma, this is an exquisitely renovated building with beautiful rooms and lovely decor. Breakfast was great also. I would definitely stay here again if I was returning to Palma

Hotel Palau Sa Font is a lovely boutique establishment located in a neighborhood filled with a fascinating history. The staff is inviting, welcoming and helpful. Place is super convenient to all attractions in old city, rooms are minimalistic, but each door entrance has fabulous canvas by different artists. Staff great, clean. Breakfast was always delicious and plentiful. My biggest complaint is that it is very loud. From street, from room to room, from halls, from upper floors. Very poor insulation means you can hear your neighbor use the toilet. Difficult to sleep a restful nite.

This hotel was exactly what we were looking for- excellent service, beautiful room, and the perfect location for our stay in Majorca. We especially loved the breakfast which included an amazing variety of meats and cheeses. Everyone was so helpful and went above and beyond to make sure we were very well accommodated!

Pleasant Hotel in the old town

Great location in the old town We had a very small room on the second floor. We went to sit by the pool in the afternoon but it was full as it only has seating for 6 persons so very disappointed there was nowhere to sit. Would gave been better it it had just a couple of plastic chairs or a. small bench that we could have pulled into the sunshine. Breakfast is basic continental but service was good

Excellent location for exploring

We spent 3 nights here, it was quiet, clean and the breakfast was great. The two highlights however have to be the excellent air conditioning (quiet enough to sleep through) and the fab walk in shower. Highly recommend for your stay in Palma.

The hotel was unique and simply decorated. The great things about it were the size of the rooms, the temperature and pressure of the spacious shower, the room safe and closet, a comfy bed and uniquely styled window shades. The amazing things about it were the fluffy towels and the breakfast (usually I don't eat breakfast at hotels, but this one was exceptional).

Great location and helpful, friendly staff. As a few other guests have mentioned, the rooms are 'stark' or as some might say minimalist so not to everyone's taste. The main problem with our room was the Air con - it did not work efficiently and we had to turn it down to 10 degrees to get any benefit from it. The shower also lacked a bit of pressure and the temperature was not constant.

It was located up a very narrow lane family owned and I believe, run. There are always noticeable dollar-saving actions. Rooms very sparsely decorated, but fine. The breakfast room is off the reception area, which comprises the high desk straight off the street. I think 4 stars is a little overrated. No porter.

The hotel staff are friendly and knowledgable.Special mention to the lady who served breakfast.She was friendly and helped my wife who has a cow milk allergy in the choice of cheese to have for breakfast.The food for breakfast was excellent. In summary an excellent hotel in all respects.Highly recommended.

The location on a narrow street contributed to a quiet stay. The room was clean and very comfortsble and quite large. The bathroom was also large. Breakfast was simple yet and prepared by a very friendly host. The interior of the hotel itself was architecturally beautiful. The only downside was the less-than-welcoming checkin process by the gentleman at reception (the hotel owner) who made me leave my passport and come back after 9 p.m. to complete check-in with the friendly night receptionist.

Compact friendly in Palma centre

Very easy access to old city and the marina. Modern hotel with very friendly staff. Room was comfortable, with effective and quiet air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent.

The location couldn't be better. The hotel staff is quite friendly, almost all of them. I must admit that my check-in was a little bit disappointing, with almost no info given or whatsoever. It was done in 2 minutes and I had to ask all the basic questions such as when is the cleaning of the room done, or where is the breakfast area. Didn't feel like a proper welcoming for a 4 stars hotel. Probably you pay for the location since the room is quite small and it hasn't lot of facilities, it is very austere. Very clean though. The swimming pool and the terrace is very small but that's what is seen on the pics. The breakfast was probably the best part, very complete and tasty. They provided me tomato sauce every day as I requested, which was very nice. What I didn't really like whas the toiler: the shower and the WC are so close and not separated so when you'll take a shower, the WC area will be flooded and wet for a while. I expected to have breakfast on the patio (outside) and it wasn't possible, the cafe area wasn't the nicest. And lastly, I asked for a glass of water when checking out, and someone who looked like the director or owner came to me saying that normally people pay for that. For a small glass of water. This is a big disrecpect in a mediterranean country (I'm from Spain) since we do not refuse to give a glass of water to anyone. This was a big pitfall. Overall, an OK stay, just some more training on the staff would be appreciated plus revamping the rooms.

An experience in itself

If you appreciate the history of old Palma you will love to stay in this totally modern hotel in the heart of this ancient city. Beautifully restored architecture, full of interesting pieces of art, with high levels of service - all come together in Palau Sa Font. And a great breakfast too! Sadly I only had two nights here. I hope to return.

Great boutique hotel!!

Great hotel and excellent welcoming staff! Arrived early for check-in and went for a drink. By the time we got back the bags were already in our room. The breakfast was continental with a good range. The coffee was very good as was the fresh orange juice. Very good location and close to all amenities. Big thank you to the Italian girl at reception was excellent as was the British girl at breakfast. The rooms were incredibly clean and the shower was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel

Stopped here for 3 nights at the end of June. Location is perfect as you can just walk to all the bars, restaurants, and harbour within minutes. Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Rooms although small we're good. Air con and quiet. There was a small dip pool, which was very welcoming after a hot day of touring. Although they could do with some more sun beds - minor problem really. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again if I were visiting Palma.

We loved our stay at Palau Sa Font. It was truly wonderful. The beds were comfortable, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is very artistic and charming. It is located close to many places to eat and shop swell as close to other great neighborhoods. Great stay!

Our May break in Palma

We stayed at the Palau Sa Font for 3 night with friends on a B & B basis. We loved the hotel. The staff and service was fab, the breakfasts were great and there was even a pool and terrace. The only suggestions I would make is that at breakfast, cook the eggs to order rather than cook a load and leave them out and for the garden/terrace, a few more flowers and plants would make the area so much more attractive

Quirky Hotel . Lovely Bathroom . Great choices for breakfast buffet . Very clean . Smiley staff . Lovely views from the roof . Great place if you want to get away from the normal hotel vibe , as it has been brilliantly converted from an old building . Only down side is that you could hear every passing persons conversation from the street below ,this of course is not the fault of the hotel , but bear in mind if you are a light sleeper .

Review of Hotel Palau Sa Font

I had a very enjoyable stay at the hotel. It was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The artwork on the guest room doors provided an added ambience to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was a real highlight. The food was really nice and plentiful and the staff member at the breakfast buffet was very polite and attentive and made sure all guests had juice, tea or coffee and the buffet was frequently replenished. This is a small hotel and I think the size helped make my stay feel more personal, looked after and relaxing.

The hotel is in a great location to explore the city, despite being near lots of great bars and restaurants it is in a quiet location. Has a lovely breakfast served until 11am. Friendly, helpful staff, with advice on good places nearby to eat or places to see. Small pool, lovely to cool off after a day sightseeing. Our room overlooked the courtyard and the fountain...loved that it was turned off overnight so we weren't kept awake!

A cosy hotel in the Old Town

The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and unassuming. I found the room and building had some feng shui about them due to the historic nature of the building and some somewhat subtle modern-day interior design (though I should warn you, I wouldn't describe myself as a sophisticate by a long shot!).

this is in the heart of the town. Parking is expencive as off site 130 euros 24 hours..a bit cheaper by the sailing or free on sundays there but best to stay here without a car. Hotel 4 stars on service and breakfast super but our room was at top and air con was weak and ineffective and the pool is a plunge pool not a swimming pool. Had a drink in bar and no atmosphere as run by reception not bar staff. Breakfast was very tasty with fresh oranges juice. overpriced I would say

Tolle Lage in einer kleinen Gasse. Parken vermutlich schwer. Wir kamen aber mit dem Taxi. Fußläufig alles perfekt erreichbar, gerade die Altstadt von Palma. Tolle Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt in der Umgebung. Hotel super sauber. Flexibler und sehr freundlicher Service. Ansonsten kein Super-Luxus, aber zum Schlafen mehr als ausreichend. Sehr geräumige und moderne Badezimmer.

Sehr süßes Hotel in super Lage. Lediglich der Frühstücksraum und das Frühstück selbst hatten eher 2 Sterne Niveau. Da wir aber nur eine Nacht dort waren, war es ok.

Eine super schöne kleine Unterkunft. Wir hatten das Zimmer 21 mit Dachterrasse. Absolut zu empfehlen. In der direkten Umgebung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten zum shoppen und zum Essen gehen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Sehr freundliches Personal, überdurchschnittlich gutes Frühstück. Zimmer etwas hellhörig. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Très joli hôtel mais pas digne d’un 4 étoiles ! La décoration est raffinée mais pas de duvet/couette dans les lits, uniquement un petit drap. Aucun objet utilitaire de toilette dans la salle de bains. Sans parler du bruit de vaisselle et de va et vient dans les couloirs dès 7h le matin ! Chambres pas du tout insonorisées. Point fort : situation centrale dans un joli quartier.
