9 minutes walk from train station. And 7 minutes to get to airport. Tv. Nice shower. Go9d price. Perfect for one night
Very small Rooms but clean and afordable
It's overall good but staff is not there at night as they close and they will leave a paper to call a number so if you do not have accessibility to call a German number in order to tell you for the PIN of the lock box to get your key, you won't be able to get in at there at the closure time. They must be sending the pin of the locker box through mail as instructed. Also the room i had, the bed was narrow and the cover width also is a same as the bed which is also short. Other than that room is small but tidy and clean Water was there in the fridge but it's paid not for free
Right by a tram that takes you to the core. Rooms exactly what you expect for a 3 star. Practical with firm beds just enough room to turn around in and that's about it. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was a simple affair with a few meats and cheeses and toast but did the job if you aren't looking for fancy.
Very nice place
It was a good place to stay near the airport
Staff members so friendly
This is a very nice hotel with good service and clean room. I will stay here again in the future. Only thing that would be nice is if they added for vending machines with cold drinks and snacks. It would be nice to have at night when everything is closed. They did have some nice cold mineral waters in the fridge in the room, which was nice.
There is no free parking in the area. Terrible for guest with a vehicle.
The Staff commitment to help the guests.
I was accommodated for arriving very late, very thankful for that. Front desk staff was amazing. When I went in to use the shower, the one provided towel was went with a mild odor.
Great stay
Hotel was nice and clean. Located in a quiet neighborhood
Parking is very limited. Public transportation is right outside, very convenient if that's how you're getting around. You can use a full kitchen if you want to , i thought that was neat. Available to everyone. No A/C. a bit warm in the summer.
Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Location to gas station, airport and eating. Dislike: no breakfast.
Location was very good to travel to the city, stadium, and airport! Overall, the room was small but had everything one needs.
Thanks you for great service
Solo traveller
It was good it's a 5 minute walk to the tram station but only one staff member had the keys to the safety deposit facilities and i was very disappointed with that but in general the staff were very helpful and it is in a nice location
Compact, no frills
Did not have breakfast at the hotel as there were several cafes nearby. It was difficult to unlock the room from outside but the receptionist told me to pull the door, then push it.
Clean facilities, comfortable lodgings, and friendly staff. Staff also spoke English, which was a plus for me.
Car parking is a problem, 6 or 7 cars max at the rear, otherwise you drive around to find a space on the street.
This hotel suited my needs well as a solo traveler for two nights. Clean room clean building. Helpful staff. Breakfast available for purchase. Free coffee in lobby. Penny store nearby for basic groceries. Tram stop out front, 15-20 minute ride to reach downtown.
Quite happy. No concerns. I will return.
Close by to stores and the S Bahn station. The shower is small with corner sliding doors, large persons won't be able to use the shower and even I had issues getting in and out.
Super Nice!! I liked
Beautiful place!!! Close to metro!! Would definitely recommend!!
Cheap room for cheap price you get what you pay for and nothing more
This hotel has been as long as I can think. It must have been recently remodeled, as the interior looked rather new. The rooms are a little on the small side but very clean, they offer breakfast and free parking in the back of the building. The staff was friendly, the hotel is in a safe neighborhood and not far away from the city center. The only downside if you travel during the summer months is the lack of air conditioning.
fast check-in. Room is ok
The check in and check out processes are quick. The room is ok
OK if you don't mind train sound.
Train track is right in front of hotel. Windows are not sound proof. I was there only for few hours in night. Did not try breakfast. They have a parking place. It is bit challenging for large and wide cars.
Expensive, far location, customer service poor
Very expensive, 2 of the 3 front desk staff were terrible, very very poor customer service. Location in the middle of a neighborhood, I would not stay again,. One clerk was so busy lounging in the back with his girlfriend, the other clerk gave wrong directions to the public transportation, generally very poor customer service. No wifi, even though it was paid for....annoying hotel, but very clean.
Fucntional but fine
I booked a late business trip to Frankfurt when there was a Meat Convention on so all the other hotels were booked or astronomically high prices. So I booked this hotel which was only 10 Euros and 10mins away from the main train station. It was very functional but clean and did the job for a one night stay. It was on the tram line as well so you can get into Frankfurt easily.
The doors of the rooms can’t isolate loud voices and noises. It’s not easy to sleep...
Needs some TLC
The rooms are very basic, small and a little tired looking. The rooms are very clean and there is a reasonable choice for Breakfast. There is a tram station within 100 yards to the Hotel so it makes it easy to get into the City Centre
Comfort bed, friendly staff at the hotel, great location. However, restaurant staff are not polite and not helpful. Restaurant price is expensive and overpriced and bottle water cost 8.50 euro. Overall the hotel experience was good except for the restaurant area.
The bus station is directly in front of the hotel, that was very comfortable. The room was quiet and neat.
The location was very nice between the airport and the train station.
Bathroom door was broken and not repaired. There was a long walk between the station and the hotel
It was hot day. It has no air conditioning, I asked for a fan because my friend room had. But they said they run out the fan???
close to station, but very small bathroom space. Can do with a better fridge freezer. Easy access to the stations though.
Nice hotel close to airport, public transportations , restaurants( + Pizza-Hut)and supermarket. Good to walk to riverside and the Old Town in 50 minutes. My room is cheap but small and without fan and aircondition that means hot and unconfortable sometimes.
low cost close to airport
Neighborhood does not offer much. Close to airport. Minimalistic room.
great
well located and nice hotel
Basic hotel with comfortable bed and awful pillows
The hotel room was clean, adequately furnished with a really comfortable bed. The pillows were some soft spongy material that just could not be arranged into any pillow shape. Not even by the staff who made the bed. Both the room door and the bathroom door made a lot of noise, so I could hear these sounds from the surrounding rooms, too. The lift was practically next to my head and could be heard in the room each time it was called. I am not too sensitive to noise, but it was more than what I can ignore.
Ok but overpriced
Hotel did the job for 1 business night. It is very outdated though and the bathroom is tiny. For the €160/night charge, I think it was about double what is should have been in cost. The reception was friendly and the breakfast was small but fine. I didn't venture outside the hotel to see the area but it seemed fine.
Low end property
The staff was competent as one lady directed me to good restaurant that was nearby. One man called a taxi for me but charged me some undetermined amount of money for a cup of coffee. If it was in a dining area I could understand but he brewed it behind the check in desk. I read an article that mentioned that hotels are nickel and diming people to death these days so be sure you know in advance about any feel like charging for a candy bar then paying a restocking fee to put another candy bar in it's place.
Affordable and close to tram
This is my 4th stay and I have my next reservation already placed. I feel like home now here. It is not fancy but comfortable.
very nice hotel good value
Take it or Leave it!
We stayed in 2 rooms the 1st time we visited. Our rooms were good. As we were returning to the area at the end of the week & had a reservation there I requested the same rooms. The receptionist told me we would get the same rooms. When were arrived the 2nd time we were told that the rooms were occupied and were given dinky rooms in the basement with a shared toilet & shower at the end of the hall. I complained about the rooms & shared facilities and was told that the rooms were the only ones available. The receptionist did check to see if there was anything else but it was basically " Take it or Leave it! " . When checking out the manager blamed the receptionist & gave us 20 Euro off each room which is what they originally went for compared to the rooms we reserved. We will not be using that Hotel again!
Niederraederhof - basic but comfortable hotel
Nederraederhof is a basic but comfortable hotel, ideal for a short stay on business, especialy if you are paying yourself or have to wait for expenses. There is tram and bus connections close by to the city centre and Hbf and in the other direction the Niederrad business area.
Nice budget hotel in Niederrad, Frankfurt
a nice budget hotel, friendly staff and has all you need
terrible, a hotel where they don't even have a TV ??? what else can I say about it...
Worst business stay ever
Upon arrival, I was told that there was a problem with the room - some vague excuse was given as to why some of the rooms were unavailable. Given they had all my contact details and failed to notify me of this was disappointing, being relegated to what the receptionist described as the 'cellar' was almost comical. Turns out there was a room in the basement with separate bathroom facilities down the corridor. This setup you may expect from a hostel charging 20 Euros, but not from a 3 star hotel - even as a back up room. The bed was tiny and mattress felt cheap, every footstep and conversation from above was amplified given its 'sub-optimal' location beneath the reception. The only thing I found satisfactory in the room - was the bottled mineral water with gas, which was seemingly un tampered and contained the appropriate balance of carbon. To top off a dreadful stay - the receptionist said someone would be in contact about a refund. Alas - I've heard nothing.
Don't expect much from the room
Room was pretty small and the smell of smoking cigaretts from other room/ windows was pretty annoying. Breakfast was excellent for the value eventhough they did not have any plain butter. Reception was friendly for check-in but then was stressed out when more questions / requests was asked. Although behind the reception area there was a little bar with wine but when we asked for a wine opener( had our own bottle) they told us they dont have it and asked us to go to a resturaunt to have it opened.
Good value for money, quiet location.
Hotel convenient for train and tram station. Wi Fi was bad - no signal or very slow internet access. Ask for non-smoking room - my room stunk of smoke. Apart from that, room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff were very friendly.
Barely worth the money paid
No air conditioning, only a fan during a July stay. Internet was extremely slow on the fifth floor, had to sit in the lobby. Front desk worker did all they could to help me. Left the window open for ventilation and had to close it due to all the small bugs that came into the room.
Made us take another hotel
Never got to stay there. I went to check in and they would not honor the reservation I had made and paid an hour before. They did put us in a sister property in another part of town.
Simple basic hotel, excellent breakfast
Quick overnight stay on a business trip. Simple basic room, would have been nicer to have had a double room and not a single bed against a wall but in reality it didn't matter so much given the short amount of time I was there!
Not bad
Was initially told that because I didn't arrive until 9pm my room was given away even though I had confirmed it with my cc via hotels.com. The double bed I reserved was given away and I was able to obtain a single in lieu. Breakfast is very good. Close to the S-Bahn. Hotel is very quiet and close to small bars and restaurants.
Not Worth it.
Strong smell of smoke in the 3 rooms we booked. We were told all rooms were smoking rooms. Showers were small. No lounge areas.
Nice and clean hotel with parking
Good little hotel, small but clean room, tram into town stops right out the front, convenient car parking, would recommend.
Clean and cozy budget hotel.
The hotel was a comfortable a clean budget hotel. It is not near anything interesting, but is a short walk from a tram and s-bahn. The only real issue was they they had no ironing boards. I was there on business, and I needed to iron my work clothes. Without an ironing board, it was very frustrating.
great hotel for the price!
clean room, nice parking, staff is friendly. rooms are small, but very clean and overall great value. Close to airport and easy to find. breakfast wasn't as good as it has been in the past, but still nice to have coffee, tea, brotchen, meat, and cheese to start the day.
Rooms very small
Room extremely small if you want to work As this was business trip I struggled with desk space for full size laptop Service was ok Location hotel is quite a bit away from the inner city Slight issue for after work dinner obligations
Friendly helpful staff. Very clean and comfy room. Tasty breakfast.
Friendly helpful staff. Very clean and comfy room. Tasty breakfast.
Perfect for lone traveller
I had a lovely stay, the front desk staff were reall y friendly and gave good advice on where to eat and transport. The neighbourhood was good, and as a young female traveller I felt safe to go out and do my washing in the evening. It was really easy to get to with public transport and close to the city. Only downside was the room was really quite hot, even with the radiators off.
Friendly staff. Nice breakfast. Really close to tram. Perfectly central location for us as wanted to go to downtown and to the stadium.
Great Hotel!
Very friendly and helpfull staff. Easy connection from airport train. Also tram to fairgrounds (Messe) stops right accross the street from the hotel. Excellent breakfast selection of hot and cold items.
nice hotel, great price, great value!
as always, very clean and welcoming. the staff were so friendly and helpful. the wireless internet was not very functional, which was a disappointment from my previous stays at this hotel. great value!
Noisy night
The best thing about this hotel is the breakfast buffet it had one of the better ones we've had on our trip but the coffee could be better. Our room however was very small and it was hot so we had to have the windows open as there was no aircon or fan. The traffic sounds were very noisy and the bathroom was uncomfortably small. The staff were good but overall I felt the price was too much for the quality of the room which was unpleasant.
Good location
Hotel was very close to tram line and made for easy travelling to city. Very clean and breakfast was plentiful. Staff friendly and a couple of eating places nearby. A good choice
Small and Smoky
The biggest problem was that at times the employees were going outside to smoke and they were leaving the door open while they were out there, causing the smoke to blow back into the hallways. Room was very small and very difficult to move around.
My favorite place to stay in Frankfurt
This hotel is perfect for my needs, and is everything a small European hotel should be. The staff is a delight, the breakfast plenteous and prepared with great care for the guests. My room was small, as it should be, but e dry thing was perfectly clean and well maintained. The hotel sits on the tram line so I have easy transportation to several train stations, and the Niederrad train station is a out a 7-minute walk if I don't want to wait for a tram or bus. MyZeil is two train stops away. The neighborhood is very quiet, with several restaurants and a grocery store within a 5-minute walk. I can't think of anything negative to say!
Good Value, Clean, Handy to the Airport
I chose the Niederraeder Hof because it was not in the airport district and because the price was reasonable and the other reviews were good. The hotel was clean, the room was nice, about what I expect for a one-person low-cost European hotel. Everything worked fine, the staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good--nice variety of food, all very tasty, even the pre-made eggs. The only complaint I had was that the wireless Internet was very slow for me, but I've found very few hotels where it isn't slow, so I don't consider that a real problem (but I also couldn't find any coffee shops with wireless nearby--a Starbucks near the Hauptbahnhof is your best bet, as it has free WiFI). It's about a 10-15 minute walk from the main train line, making it about a total of 30 minutes from the airport or Frankfurt city center. There is a convenient trolly line if you don't want to walk. The neighborhood is a quiet residential area. Not within easy walking distance of any particular tourist destination (it's just off the south-west edge of the main Frankfurt tourist map) but otherwise convenient and pleasant.
PERFECT BUDGET HOTEL
We were very apprehensive about accommodation in Frankfurt after reading some of the hotel reviews. Thankfully this one was great. A 5 or 10 minute tram ride (No 12) from the centre, very clean with good breakfast. Hotel rate was very reasonable too. Highly recommended.
A unique place
The staff were friendly, courteous, helpful, and always available. This was a great place to return to after exhausting hours at a trade exhibition.
Gem of a hotel
The hotel is a quaint European style with a good breakfast, wi-fi, and easy access to the train station and trolley line. I especially appreciated the service, and all the little details. I put in laundry at about 5:00 a.m. and received it back around 10:00 the same day. At the end of my original stay I needed to extend and Sonya at the front desk worked to give me the same room and a better rate than the one through hotels.com. I am very satisfied with my stay.
Frankfurt hotel
Decent hotel but accommodation is fairly cramped, especially the bathroom. Good breakfast included in our deal.
Had a very comforrable stay and close to messe
We'll be returning
This hotel suited us very well with the tram stop nearby and within walking distance of the hospital where our grand daughter was born. It is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and our room looked out over houses at the back and we heard no traffic or other noise at all. At the same time we were close to shops and a variety of bars and restaurants. The room was a little small but comfortable and perfectly adequate. It was well heated. The bathroom was clean, modern and lots of hot water. The breakfast buffet included in the price of the room was excellent. We really felt we got value for our money.
Not as close to Frankfurt Airport as portrayed
We needed a place for a 12 hour overnight layover and this seemed not too expensive and was 4.6 miles from airport. However, the taxi for that short distance cost $30 each way. It was on a dark street with not much else there. The taxi driver had to use his GPS to find it. That said, the hotel was clean, employees pleasant, wake up call on time, they called a taxi for us which was on time and even had coffee made for us well before the beginning of included breakfast hours. If in a better location, would recommend without hesitation. May be a good place to stay if in Frankfurt for a few days but not best for a layover.
COMFORTABLE
1. Internet - Good 2. In room amenities - Okay 3. Room Decor - Okay 4. Toilet - Okay - except the shower had no place to keep my shampoo soap. 5. Closet - Okay Room size was small, but that is all what you get in most of the European cities. So never mind that. Mini-Refreigerator - Okay. Fruits in the lobby area good idea. Staff - smiling and cooperative. Overall I would give this hotel 7/10. Breakfast was a good spread, but due to paucity of place second day I was sharing a table with a stranger, which is okay. The best part was the nearby restaurants, walking distance, very good food. Tram station very nearby so access to the city or exhibition ground was very easy. I dont mind going back and staying there and recommending this hotel.
Clean, functional, simple, friendly, overall very good!
If you need a quiet night near frankfurt airport, or a peaceful base around frankfurt, then this is a good choice. Clean, functional, simple and friendly. Rooms a little small; but anyway highly practical. Good breakfast. Convenient location. Overall, very good!
Good overall value
With a good breakfast buffet included and free wi-fi internet, the hotel was good overall value. The room was clean and functional but rather small. The location in Niederrad is convenient (there is a tram stop almost directly outside the hotel), but still has a quiet, suburban feel. There are a range of local shops and cafes within walking distance.
Niederraederhof - Frankfurt
The hotel was clean and quiet, the beds comfortable and the breakfast OK. The only real complaint was the size of the room (how did they get the bed in there?!?) and also the size and noise of the breakfast area, where you couldn't hear yourself think and getting to the food was sometimes a challenge. Pleasant people at the desk.
Hotel Niederraeder Hof, Frankfurt
Highly recommend this hotel. Everything was great. Friendly staff, with excellent English, as an Aussie made my life very easy. Room was spot on, very comfortable bed, breakfast great. Close to public transport and shops. Quiet at night . Very cheap for what was offered.
Comfortable home like hotel with friendly staff
Strongly recommended for mid to low budget travelers. You cannot go wrong by staying at this hotel. Enjoyed my stay. Felt very comfortable and secure.
comfortable Hotel_ value for money_ Great Location
This is an excellent hotel. The location is perfect-close to Haupt Bahnhof (Central Rail Station) Frankfurt and not far from the Frankfurt Airport. Helpful staff with the right attitude. Free Internet Connection. Delightful Breakfast included in the room price. What more can you wish for.
Simple efficiency
An ideal hotel for the business traveller requiring one or two nights in the Niederrad area of Frankfurt. Five minutes walk from the S-Bahn station, the hotel is on a road with less traffic than you might think. Rooms (mine was a single) are clean, thoughtfully laid out and with a compact but well appointed bathroom. Internet access is available. A good breakfast is available from 7-10.
Hotel OK
Preis-Leistung in Ordnung. Bett gut, aber schmal. Heizung war am Limit, im Zimmer war es recht kühl.
Bett deutlich durchgelegen. Die matratze muss erneuert werden. Personal freundlich. Reguläre Preise OK. Preise bei Messe absolut nicht leistungsadäquat.
Kleine nette gepflegte Unterkunft in Flughafennãhe. Gerne wieder!
Freundlicher Empfang. Zimmer sauber, Alles okay
Prima
Ontbijt was wat karig, handdoeken erg klein. Verder alle waar naar z'n geld
Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr sauber. Ruhige und sichere Lage. Die S-Bahn Station ist in 7 Minuten erreichbar. Werde wieder kommen! Vielen Dank!
Goedkoop prima hotel.
Prima hotel, weinig comfort.
Vielen Dank
