First time in Rome

Staff was great! Room was what I thought it was. Only challenge for me as a big guy the shower was a little tight.

Good place for shorter stay.

I spend one night there with my family and we had all of our belongs stolen inside of our car on the next morning after checkout. All luggage was inside the car and it was stolen.

It was great location and service.

location to Vatican and Metro was good. But the WIFI was out and not fixable according to the manager. No heat, very small room all for the ridiculous price of a 123 USD.

Nice staff, friendly, but the most important very close to city center. You can walk around without any problem. Safe and secure.. You find restaurants and everything you need around.

Great place, good location

This is a great hotel to stay at for the cost-conscious! The room was very clean and neat, had a small refrigerator, and great AC. The only things I wish it also had: a microwave, and TV channels in English. I really liked the location overall: about a 15 minute walk to the Vatican, about 7 minutes to a metro station, and many restaurants and small grocery stores nearby. It is a very 'local' neighborhood; it is safe. The staff, while speaking some English, are not overly fluent. But I didn't really have any troubles communicating with them. And they were friendly and helpful.

Great value

Nice location near Metro station. Quiet area with some great restaurants. Room was attached to reception area so a tiny bit noisy at times. Staff were very helpful. Air conditioner worked great. Overall very happy with my experience.

Best location to visit Vaticano, close to public transportation station and markets, clean and comfort.

What we expected

We went to this 3 star hotel because our neighbors stayed there last year. It is exactly what we expected. Price was low, room is very basic, breakfast was simple. Very friendly staff and easy checkin and check out. Metro is 5 minute walk in a quiet neighborhood, with a market just around the corner. Side Note: 1/2019 the taxes raised from 3€ to 4€ Per person per night for 3 star hotels, so 2 people 2 nights I had to pay 18€ at check out.

Small, well located hotel

Warm friendly staff who speak limited English. Very quiet tree lined street 2 blocks from subway. 10 minute walk to Vatican. Staff let us leave our luggage after check out. WiFi not so great.

Great Valur

The hotel is 3 blocks from touristy areas including the Vatican, but has a very residential feel. There are many great restaurants and Gellato shops nearby (L’Archetto for Pizza and Gelateria dei Grachi for dessert can’t be beat). There is a great food store (Castronini) to buy spices, oil, pasta to take home. There is a grocery store & pharmacy around the corner if you need to stock up on edibles/drinks. The hotel is clean and quiet. If you have a big family with young kids...it’s probably not going to be your thing. Hotel is on the 2nd floor, and while there is an elevator, you still need to go up 3-4 steps to reach it (and it’s very small - don’t think a stroller would work too well). For adults looking for a clean place to lay their heads down at night, big fluffy towels, lots of hot water in the shower, and a safe, quiet neighborhood away from all-night areas (everyone seems to disappear after 10pm), but that is AMAZINGLY close to tourist areas & transportation, then this is the hotel you are looking for. The staff are very friendly and sweet - breakfast is delicious (but there are many great options for breakfast where the locals go, like Sciascia Cafe around the corner with the best breakfast mini sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life). The price was so low that I wasn’t expecting much beside a bed, but honestly I would have paid double given how wonderful my stay there was. I will definitely be staying here again if/when I make it back to Rome again.

Cheap, clean, and close to the Vatican

A lovely hotel on the second floor. Only a handful of rooms but all appears very modern and very clean. Friendly staff, small but traditional Italian breakfast, and great coffee. Room was very well turned down each day, and was still able to get in at midnight after a night out. About a 5 minute walk from Lepanto metro station, 2 minutes to an ATM, and 3 minutes to a supermarket. The Vatican is only 1000m away, but the room was very quiet at night. Overall, one of the best hotels I've stayed in.

I had a great time staying at Hotel Nautilus. Pros: - it has all the basic things that you need for a short stay - the staffs are very helpful - it's clean and in safe location - local eateries nearby and shops - walking distance to Vatican and Lepanto sub way station cons: - noise from other room you can easily hear especially for loud guest who doesn't care other guest. - ac got broken on our last night of stay this was just unfortunate for us. Overall: We were happy and highly recommended.

Perfect stay in Rome.

Our stay was perfect! The hotel is on the 2nd floor of what looks like an apartment. Very close location to Vatican City and metro stop. The neighborhood is quiet with shopping nearby. They upgraded us to a larger room but our originally booked room was adequate as well. Our room was clean and spacious. The staff was very nice and did everything to attend to our needs. Breakfast was light but good to start the day. The breakfast area is small with just 4 tables but they are happy to bring breakfast to your room. How nice is that! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel close to the Vatican.

This is a beautiful hotel with good facilities and excellent customer service. Its close to the Vatican and can be accessed easily by bus and Metro.

While the room was clean, i got lots of insect bites on my arms and legs.

Friendly and helpful staffs

I was impressed by the hotel's staffs, who were very friendly and helpful. This hotel seems to be opened recently as the room is modern and clean. The air-conditioning was also good. Vatican museums are within 10 minute walk. Breakfast meals are simple with croissants, coffee, milk and cheese, but the quality was nice.

really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. the room was a good size and it was very clean. The staff were very friendly and always greeted us with a smile. it's a nice cosy hotel in a quiet neighbourhood and great location for the Vatican.

Handy for the Vatican

We stayed here for 3 very enjoyable nights on a city break. It's a small hotel, located on second floor of a large building. Rooms were immaculate and modern. Staff were very friendly, speaking some English. Breakfast consisted of croissants, spreads and coffee. The metro is a 5 min walk away, the Vatican less than ten. We walked everywhere though, about 50 mins to the coliseum. Wi-fi wasn't great, but that seemed common across Rome. Best accessed from reception and it was free. I would recommend this hotel. It's budget, so be realistic about what you wish for. But it was very clean, modern and was ideal for our purpose.

Excellent Hotel

This is an excellent hotel that is close to Vatican City, but also within walking distance of the historic center of the city. The hotel is also very close to two subway stations. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. Although I do not speak Italian, we could easily communicate with the personnel.

Great location and good value

Two nights in Rome. We like to stay in Prati because we can walk to Borghese Gardens, the Colosseum, Trastevere and all the major sites. Prati is safe, central and makes for a pleasant stay. This hotel occupies an older apartment building, but the room we stayed in was very updated, spacious and clean. Service was perfectly adequate and included breakfast continental style, espresso, toast/croissant and juice. Would stay here again.

Excellent hotel!

Very good hotel!! It is under renovation and we got a new excellent room. 5-10 min walking to the Metro (subway or tube, whatever you call it) and 15 min walking to the Vaticano, with several stores and markets around. Recommend!!

Hyvin rauhallinen paikka. Henkilökunta oli mukava ja auttavaisia. Hotelli huone oli hyvin vaatimaton, olisi kaivannut pientä pinta remonttia. Sänky oli hyvä, petivaatteet eivät.

Excellent service, hotel staff were ready to help us always and with pleasure. One day we woke up late, were sure we missed breakfast, but the staff were waiting us in the dining room and it was very nice. Great location.

Albergo situato al secondo piano di un palazzo che comprende anche altri alberghi situati a vari piani dell'edificio. Le camere sono nella norma. Pulizia buona. Stanze non insonorizzate nel miglior modo si sentono molti rumori provenienti dal corridoio e dalle altre stanze

6泊利用しましたがスタッフの対応もよく、清潔でまづまづのHotelでした。 ランドリー設備がないのが長期利用には難点です。10分ほどできれいなコインランドリーを見つけましたが・・・・ 近隣にはスーパー、レストランも多くあり不自由さは感じません。

El alojamiento se encuentra en una ubicación fantástica, próxima a todos los puntos turísticos del centro de Roma y con estación de metro cercana al hotel. Se encuentra en una zona tranquila, en el segundo piso de un edificio, dispone de ascensor,algo chocante inicialmente pero que no le resta calidad al alojamiento; la habitación es amplia y cómoda, el baño también es amplio y actual. El personal es amable y educado, nos recibieron muy bien. Por tanto, recomiendo este establecimiento sin duda alguna, además sin dudarlo repetiría.

Camera da 4 (2 adulti 2 rragazzi) grande, pulitissima, con condizionatore, bagno perfetto con ottima doccia. personale gentilissimo e disponibile. unica piccola pecca: area colazione ristretta e non troppa scelta. come molte strutture a Roma albergo situato al 2 piano di un palazzo che ospita altri alberghi, a 7' a piedi da piazza del popolo, quartiere prati con tantissimi ristoranti belli e poco costosi. complimenti e grazie!

Está muy limpio,muy bien ubicado...pero la zona de desayuno para mí gusto es diminuta ,no me gustó me sentía ahogada ,es la única pega que le pongo al hotel
