Good location
The hotel was disgusting, the entrance was filthy, room we were allocated had door handle hanging off it looked like someone had tried to gain access. The room was filthy, fridge door had a line of thick debris, curtains were hanging off, chair was in a poor state of repair, table was dirty and had been repaired with tacks and surface had numerous uneven places where material had been worn away. On speaking to the manager he gave us another room although that was slightly better someone had been smoking in it and everything smelt of smoke, one of us has asthma so this was not acceptable. The area surrounding the hotel is full of homeless people who pestered everyone for food and money the area was not safe. We eventually booked into another hotel at a cost of 500€ The manager did offer alternative accommodation after we had booked another ourselves, the alternative was the same poor quality and in the same area. I have taken pictures of inside the room and will be happy to forward them. We have used Expedia many times and this is the first time we have had to complain but you need to look at this property IMMEDIATELY.
Very basic. Bed is clean. Shower is clean. Neighbours were noisy. Very bad area. Drugs and other elements all around property. I always stay as close as possible to the train station for reasons of transportation. I will stay further away from now on.
In general it is okay, very close to train station. Except the street noise is pretty bad. It is in a busy area, the noise is non-stop.
Unless you have to stay in the worse area of Frankfurt, right next to the Red Light district, I would pick somewhere else. You can find much nicer hotels in the surrounding area. Plus this hotel customer service is non-existent. Don't try to call or email them.
Close to central station but the area is horrible, dirty and noisy! Hotel itself was ok, you pay for what you get. Not sure how it’s a 3 star hotel though.
Hotel ok but surround is bad.
The staff did their best, the room was OK but overlooking the noisy street. This area has declined to the extent that it felt more like north Africa than Germany. Lots of police activity during day and night. I would not go back but that is not the fault of the hotel, it is a result of the disastrous EU migration situation.
Basic hotel, great location near station
Basic hotel, great location very close to the station. Ideal for arriving late, sleeping and leaving early.
I dont recommend this hotel.
There was a lot of people openly taking drugs around the hotel entrance. The hotel was relatively clean in the room. The curtains were broken and hanging off the rod. The room was stifling hot, with only a dusty fan to cool the room. The tv did not work. I would never recommend this hotel.
I had a very dirty towel, I discovered that after using it after shower.. it was all dirty, I had to shower twice after using it and still had disgusting feelings.. I told the management and didn’t bother themselves of saying sorry or offering anything..I have photos of the dirty towels
Room was rather dirty, not vacuumed for ages, although bathroom/toilet were pretty clean. Alright deal for a buck I guess.
convenient to stay
the reception is efficient. you don't have to wait long if you got a reservation. They are warm welcomed you. The thing is even though the hotel banned to smoke, but I smell cigarette. The place is very close to the central station and convenient to keep travel.

Good
Gut und günstig, von daher empehlenswert
Angenehmer Aufenthalt und freundliches Personal. Gute Einrichtung.
The walls between rooms are so thin that you can hear your neighbors as if they are in your room. Especially if they talk until 2 a.m. and snore afterwards. I spent a terrible night in the hotel. The hotel is close to the central train station. On the one hand, it is convenient if you travel. On the other hand, there are a lot of suspicious people in the area. So, I would not recommend to go around after dusk.
Hotel is in need of a ton of updates. Cockroaches in our hotel room. Unclean towels. Mold in the bathrooms. Bad neighborhood at night. Only stayed for one night but would definitely not recommend.
It was adequate
A very loud hotel. Not very restful at all.
This place is very basic. Carpets were stained but the bed and linens etc were fine. What is most annoying though is that it is very loud. the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the rooms next to you and the hallways. The street below is extremely noisy with many bars and people drinking on the streets till 2:00am. Since there’s no AC, you have to keep the windows open making it even louder.
Staff members are very professional. All services was good.
Good
Great Location
Actually we didn't go inside. The area around this hotel is nothing but a Dump. Outside for more than 3 blocks there were drunks walking up and down the streets, people sleeping on the ground. There's a casino on one of the corners that looks like a trash bin spilled all over the place. It's pretty awful. No thank you for us.
The room smelled of cigarette smoke and musty. I couldn't leave the window open as the room was facing directly onto the road.
Don’t stay here
Rude staff and room was ridiculously hot
Convenient to train station and river walk. Very loud street noise and odor coming from bathroom.
Very convenient to Frankfurt Hbf and thru that the airport. Late night shopping for toiletries etc was possible as was direct access to döner shop. Friendly hospitality made me second guess what country I was in. That's a good thing. Very positive experience.
Shower room was not clean.
Helpful staff with great access to central train station - you can literally see it from the front door!
DO NOT STAY HERE. HORRIBLE. DIRTY. THIEVES.
Dirty Room. Dirty Bathroom. No AC. Everything smelled like mold. My wife and I were offered free breakfast. On checkout we were charged. The little man at the desk assaulted my Wife and I when I refused to pay for the free breakfast. Said he would KILL me... He threw our luggage around. He physically assaulted me. I am following up with the Frankfurt Police. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Better to have a kettle in the room. More pillows and blankets in the wardrobe.
Building of hotel is in a very lively area near the Central station. Good thing was that I had room opposite of the street. It was enough for me to sleep well. Bad thing is, there's no AC. TV was not working (could listen to radio though). Few days there was rough smell from somewhere but more or less it was positive. Breakfast is very good. Very pleasant and helpful stuff. It was very close to my meeting places - walking distance. And it is pleasant to go to river banks. Frankfurt is colorful city.
This hotel has its plus points. It has a great location, the price was very reasonable and the room was cleaned every day. However, the walls are paper thin so if you've got noisy people staying anywhere near your room you can forget getting enough sleep.
Hotel Nightmare
This booking was for 4 nights, we left after the first night. Upon arrival we requested 2 additional pillows to be sent to our room and was told that he will organise them and deliver them to our room. It had reached 11pm and we had not received our pillows yet. I then rang reception and asked if I could have the 2 additional pillows sent to the room, in which the person on the phone was rude and kept trying to tell me that my English was bad and to come down stairs. I would like to make the point I am Australian born and my native tongue is English. I then went down to reception and asked the man (Leo) if I could have the 2 additional pillows we had requested earlier in which he then become frustrated and started to became agitated that we don’t speak German and asked us why we came to this hotel and not speak German. This was upsetting for us because firstly we are visiting on a 2 week holiday and secondly, their website has an English option which appealed to us as an ideal hotel. It got to the point where the man (Leo) stood up and began to cower over the counter towards my partner and told us our English wasn’t welcomed here. This is all over 2 pillows which baffled me as to how angry and unprofessional he was getting. His actions and body language was very intimidating and un-welcoming to the point we felt we needed to leave. Upon leaving, the receptionist (different person again) told us that we were to contact hotels.com for a refund, this is not true.
Great location, service and prices. Walk around central station, it is very easy for food, shopping, etc
It is very close to the train station which worked well for us since we were taking a train in the morning. However the hotel is old and needs renovation.
Great service .. location suited us ...bid wild closer to train station ... But overall great stay .
The hotel was under construction and the noise level in the room was difficult to tolerate even with headphones. The room was rather small and not the cleanest. The stay was tolerable for just one night, however.
Not a 3 star hotel. Felt like a dorm room. Could hear main door 3 floors below every time it shut and the conversation of anyone that came in.
staffs not friendly
I chose this hotel because it's close to the train station. The room was bare-bone and fairly clean. I did not find a thermostat and I was cold one night and too hot the second night.
An ok hotel but you get what you pay for close to everything but nothing glamorous. But saying that I would stay there again. Staff were great
Close to the main train station, and about 10 minutes easy walk to main square and shopping mall. Comfortable room for 3 adults. Room 15 is next door to pool hall and we were there on Friday and Saturday nights and we experienced lots of noise till early hours of the morning so ask for room away from that.
Close to the train station and has everything you need in a budget hotel!
Good location
Hotel is great for location 2 minutes from the main train station and was approx 10 minutes walk from the Christmas markets. Room was basic but clean
Great location, mediocre hotel
I booked this hotel for a quick layover mostly due to the location, so I could see a bit of the city. However, the hotel itself is not good. The lift was not working and I had to go up to the forth floor with my luggage via stairs. The room was cold and there was no heating system. Suddenly the wifi stopped working and the front desk staff couldn't do anything about it - nor did he even apologize for the inconvenience. I explained I really needed the internet for work but only in the morning a manager came and got it back, which was too late for me. I would NOT stay here again, just too many issues for one night.
Nice and quiet place. Big red stain in the comforter, but otherwise OK.
The hotel was good overall, but the local team had just won a game and everyone outside was loudly celebrating. Unfortunately some of the other guests were also loudly celebrating in the stairwell, which echoes and made it hard to sleep. The facility was good overall though, and the staff were great.
Simple and Convenient
Great hotel in an incredibly convenient and central location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Definitely recommend!
clean and location are good and price..........................................................................................................
LOCATION WAS GOOD< HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE TRAM SENSE THERE IS NO AIR CONDITION AND YOU HAVE TO OPEN THE WINDOWS FOR FRESH AIR YOU CANT SLEEP FROM THE TRAMS AND LAST NIGHT I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTMENT TO FIND A BEDBUG. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY BUT THE PRICE IS EXTREMELY HIGH FOR TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE Automechanika FAIR IN MESSE
Easy to find from the station. We were in and out all day, the staff were very accomodating and helpful with local information e.g. what's a good price for a sim card.
Small hotel near the main train station, downtown and great oriental restaurants. Friendly staff and clean room made our stay pleasant. Great low cost choice if your expectations are not high.
It was ok. Not very nice surrounding. Very convinient to rail travellers. Staff friendly.
I liked that this was close to the tail station. I felt like it was in an unsafe area. It was very loud on the street. The female who checked us in was very kind and helped us with direction etc. The man working on Sunday am 12-8-2018 was rude when I asked if I needed to do anything to check out. He acted as if we had bothered him. The room was very small, the shower had a separate stall area. The sink had signs of mold. The elevator held two people max. Just an odd hotel that seemed like what a hostel would be. One street over much better. This was booked by my travel agent, which I had trusted to put us in a decent hotel:(
Close to everything and the staff were lovely. It wasnt anything flash but suited what we were needing, a bed and somwhere to leave our stuff.
Decent hotel very close to the Frankfurt hbf
We stayed here for a night. It was surprising at first that rooms in Europe didn't have Air conditioning, it was a very hot day but the room had a fan which helped getting better sleep in the night.
Very hot day left the room warm all night long despite the excellent receptionists help in providing a working fan.
Great location
It’s located near the train station and so many kinds of restaurants! Staff are so friendly.
A basic comfortable hotel in Frankfurt's heart
Nothing more than what you need, but very comfortable. The hotel is right next to a fairly busy street with a tram stop right outside, but if you have your windows shut you can hardly notice. Very close to the main station, a convenience store, and the very middle of the old town district. Also close to the red light district if that's your thing, but don't let that scare you away, this is in a safe area.
Poor location
The hotel is in basically a third world slum but near civilization. There is little in the way of what you'd expect in Germany for around 400 metres in any direction being more like downtown Damascus or something like it. The hotel is serviced by the smallest elevator I've seen meaning delays in moving in and out while not being able to fit more than 1 person and a suitcase or 2 people. The hotel staff were good with one exception who wanted to argue about paying for a small cup of water from the water fountain in the lobby insisting that it was 1.5 euros. Overall if a cheap nasty hotel is all you need then it's probably ok but otherwise I'd stay clear
Terrible hotel and unreasonable staff
We were told that we could park our car at a nearby parking place and paid EUR 24 for 2-day parking fees to the hotel staff and was given a parking card. The staff just described how to go to the car park and told us not to use the given parking card first but took the parking card generated from the car park machine and threw it away, so later using the given parking card upon leaving the car park. However, we parked at the wrong car park and realized upon departure as the given parking card can't open the car park barrier. We checked with the hotel and was told that it was the wrong car park. We paid EUR 40 for the 2-day car park at the wrong place. We demanded the return of EUR 24 for the unused parking card but the hotel staff refused to refund to us. It was a terrible experience. We strongly don't recommend this hotel as the staff can't speak English well. Moreover, we were given a room with broken bed and dirty room. We made a compliant then hotel staff changed us to another room. The hotel was not fully booked, hotel staff should give us the better room upon our check-in.
The check-in staff was unfriendly, questioning very strange questions making me feel very uncomfortable. People should avoid this hotel.
Close to everything, but area is a little rough. Staff were fine and simple breakfast included. Hotel is old and needs updating. Rooms were a little rough around the edges as well. Would look for another place to stay next time, but if I had to I could stay here again for one night.
The hotel was clean and comfortable.
The hotel is in a not so good area but within minutes walk of financial district and Old Town which are much nicer. It is easy to find from railway station and had everything we needed in the room. The staff were very helpful and looked after us well. I would use it again.
so noisy but clean hotel
my bad luck was in first encounter with receptionist who was arguing with me about check out time ,,,he insisted to give me a lecture about rules of check in and out in hotels ......because i was not agreeing with him on his views ...he offered me the stupidest room in hotel....first floor and facing noisiest street in frankfurt........other staff i met after him were far better than him......the hotel is good but the room i was given as an old client to expedia was not accepted at all.....and expedia has to have a say with administration of the hotel.....if you need further information ,,,,expedia may contact me.
Very central location being really close to the main train station. Room was clean and comfortable, service friendly
Apart from the location every thing is bad
Over all it's not comfortable hotel The isolation between the rooms is so bad No safety deposits box in the room
Nice hotel, great price, but awful location
I liked the staff and tiny, but comfortable room and manageable noise coming from rooms next to me, however the location of the hotel is troublesome. There are a lot of homeless, drunk and suspicious people on the street where the hotel is. The street noise never seemed to end as there is a pub/dance club almost across the street, which calms down only by 5-6 am. I still liked the hotel and recommend it for its reasonable price and walking proximity to the downtown, beautiful bridges, cathedrals and transportation. I would have given the hotel 4 stars be it in a different location.
Wouldn't go back
The neighborhood that this hotel is located in is seriously dodgy- as a solo female traveller I didn't feel safe at all. The room smelt awful as did the bathroom, and the shower didn't drain. If you aren't fussed about where you stay and just need somewhere to stay the night then I still wouldn't recommend it.
Nice hotel close to hbf
A nice hotel close to train station. Friendly staff. Located in an immigrant area where people are hanging in the streets, So it can feel a little unsafe. We experienced no issue. Other streets nearby is even Fisher, but walk or tram to downtown both felt safe at night.
It very convenience and great location, great value for its price.
good for a short stay
It is a small and basic hotel, room is small but enough , with a small shower on one side and a small toilet on the other side. Very close to Railway Station. Breakfast is very simple and basic. For a short stay is OK. Don't expect any facilities.
Good Hotel for Winter Stay at Budget Price
I chose this hotel for one-night stay mainly for its strategic location; i.e. it's very near to Hauptbahnhof Station. Though it's 3-Star hotel, I didn't find the hotel of that good quality. However, the bedding was comfortable; the reception staff was polite. I feel that it's not that good for family stay. Overall, I am satisfied for my intended stay.
Although the rooms are non-smoking, there was constant smell of smoke coming from the corridor or somewhere else. The window's axis was broken.
Last minute find - not my first choice!
Needed a place close to the central terminal in order to get back to the airport early in the morning. It was convenient for that reason and extremely close. Since it was only one night, we opted for a cheap, no frills place, and based our decision off of the pictures and a 5 Star review. This is NOT a 5 Star place, but more of a motel/hostel feel. It smelled like smoke and there were a lot of stains on the carpet and bedding. If you are used to nice/average hotels, this is NOT the place for you. I had trouble sleeping because I didn’t feel comfortable or clean. Aside from that, it served its purpose. But I personally would not stay there again.
Great value, good location for travelers.
I’ve stayed in a few hotels in the Frankfurt railway station area, on one night layovers, and this was the best. Cheap price but far from cheap hotel. Good clean warm room with decent shower and no noise even though I was on the street side. Busy location, but not sleazy like nearby streets. Very easy walk to main railway station, local transport hubs, riverside walks and city center. Reliable WiFi. Breakfast was the standard central European fayre, but very good: bread, cooked meats and cheese, eggs, juice and coffee, cereals and included in the low $45 price. Well recommend for casual or budget travelers.
Location is very convenient and next to the main train station which is 3 stops from the Frankfurt airport (~5 euros, see photos)
Not reconmend
It is cheap but not clean and not comfortable, you get what you pay.
Close to Central Station - Ideal for a few nights
+ Great Location for Central Station + Great value for money and included breakfast + Room is large and bed is comfortable + Good Wifi in the room + Room Clean and Tidy - Lots of Homeless and beggers asking for money near to the hotel which made you feel uncomfortable. The streets were filthy here - The bathroom and toilet are split and are very small - The service on the front desk is not overly welcoming but was OK
Tiny room- no air cond
The info on Expedia has rooms with A/C. We know it only 3* but did not expect the room so tiny. Towels have old stains. Very old carpet.
Professional service
Very conveniently located, walking distance from the rail station. Professional service, notifying us when one of us left a personal item behind, much appreciated.
Avoid this hotel
This hotel does not deserve a 3 star rating! The room was so small, one could hardly move around the bed, and calling our reservation for a 'superior' room (or something of that nature) is laughable.
Will stay again
It was good and staff was very cooperative.
Very dated
We stayed here for four nights. Only one of us and 2 suitcases could fit into the lift.
Dirty. Rude old man at the desk during the night.
Rude behaviour
I was very dissappointed with my stay at this hotel The staff was rude and having a baby I was told to keep the tone of my baby to be low The worst, they didnt have an airconditioner , but a fan Having 3 people in a room I had to request for the fresh towels each day
Unacceptable hotel
Overall not good specially it can not provide the internet, they said it was down and can not fix it for more than one day. I can not check in by internet. Inside the hall way have bad smelling every day.
2 Nighs in Frankfurt
Hi There, i stayed 2 nights at the Hotel and it was ok. Rooms where small but for sleeping its ok. The area where the Hotel is located isnt great but did the job.
Affordable option near Hauptbanhof.
We chose this hotel for its proximity to the train station on our first night in Europe. It was a decent place to crash and get caught up on sleep. Unfortunately, lack of AC on a hot, humid night was uncomfortable. Included breakfast was great, and set us up for a good first day. Overall, a decent, basic room that met our expectations for price and location.
You get what you pay for
PROS It was cheap and conveniently located. It was about a 3 min walk away from the train station and a 10-15 min walk away from the city center. There were really good cafes and restaurants around the hotel. The woman at the front desk was very nice and friendly. She gladly held our bags after checkout so we could walk around the city before heading to the airport. Also, the WiFi was really fast! CONS The hotel itself smelled like a fish tank. There was no AC in the room and the revolving fan that was in there did not revolve and would not lock into a position. It was difficult to sleep because the room was so hot, the bed was uncomfortable and the people in the streets were very loud all night. The walls are paper thin and in the bathroom you can hear everything your neighbors are saying in the next room. The room seemed relatively clean except the bathroom still had clothes in it from the previous guests..? Prime example of "you get what you pay for"
Yes good for a couple of nights
It was a good choice for a couple of nights. Area not the best but 10/15 minute walk from train station. Hop on hop off bus the best way to see Frankfurt by station. Flixbus which we used to travel to Berlin in same area short walk from hotel. Irish pub on corner Also on the street straight across for train station is Der Fette Bulle with some of the best burgers ever
Crash pad
We needed a place to crash between flight from China & to the USA. Didn't know if we would sightsee or not. Great location near Frankfurt train station. Easily walked to hotel. Ended up not sightseeing - just crashing & going back to airport. Perfectly adequate. After staying at Hilton, Sofitel, & Park Palace in China, Hof Muchner can't compare. It's a cheap place close to attractions. Good breakfast.
The pictures look very far away from the reality. The front desk was trying to put me in a tiny little room that was so stuffy. Service was not friendly at all. I regretted my choice for this hotel! :(
Adequate and fair value. Clean, helpful and friendly staff
Conveniently located and good value
This hotel was fine and met our needs, being near the station. Bathroom and shower were very small but on the whole it was good value for money and the included breakfast was perfectly acceptable. We only stayed one night and it was fine for that.
Inexpensive good Hotel convenients of near Station
Very nice, clean room and very good breakfast. A little noisy from the street in the night.
Simple but good
The hotel was good, nice service, good food. All was simple but nice. The osły thing that didn't work was the szafę in the hotel. They should really fix it. Other They that i recommend it. Excellent locatipn.
Bad Hotel staff
I arrived at 10 pm on Sunday , received by a person and the front desk who looked very tired and with no will to be interrupted by any new guest. He asked me for my personal identification and I gave him our National identity card( Peruvian). He demanded that I showed him my passport which I did , having to open my bag, search, etc , but I mentioned that this was the first time my ID card was not enough to register at any hotel in Europe. The man started to complain to me, by no way in a gentle way, that this was the hotel policy, etc. Mine was only a comment but looked like the man was in no mood for any comment .He continued grumbling. I asked for a wake up call which I knew in advance wouldn`t arrive. It didn`t because that man had no intention to do it. Conclusion: Bad managment, discouraged employee, worst service.

Inside room switches are not properly fixed and locker is not working, washbasin is quite small difficult to use it.Rest staff is good. Property is safe and easy acess.
