Overall, a decent place, but wifi is not usable

Great service, and nice people but wifi is unusable. Breakfast is nice, but there is not any variety. stayed for 25 days.

For the price of 24€ it was very good! Downside is that are doesnt feel safe .

Budget basic Ulus hotel.

It was only 1 night so OK. Very noisy from neighbours through the wall!! Needs some updating. Stair carpets old and dated. As a place to sleep it did the job. Can't complain about the price. Bring earplugs. Breakfast included.

GREAT PEOPLE

Location was close to shops & park made it nice. Breakfast was healthy. I did not like that they change me for breakfast while I paid for it in advance, but they still changed me. Overall a positive experience.

Economy hotel

This is a rather conveniently located budget hotel with decent service. Needs some refurbishment though. Breakfast is ok, but nothing special.

The property was easy to get to from the train station and right across the road was a wonderful park. The mosque nearby is phenomenal. Service and attention was top notch. Front desk very helpful.

Bidget hotel with Good location, safe neighborhood, lots of public buses right infront of the hotel, metro 15 minutes walk, Ankara castle 15 minutes walk. There are a few eateries within walking distance. Room was spacious and bathroom was clean. Hot water was good, heatimg system was good as well. There is a nice beautiful mosque right infront of the hotel but you dont hear much sound. Will stay here again.

Hotel Mithat is in the Ulus area of Ankara, it is approx 10 mins walk from the Haci Bayram Tomb and the Augustus temple wall.

Shower was horrible, view was not as it was marketed, room conditions not cool although it was clean.

Okay for short stay

Noting special, but okay for short stay. Staff was friendly and service-minded. Room was small and was a smoking room.

Overall nice hotel, staffing is great as well.

Had a hard time communicating with staff, and the Wi-Fi was poor but great hotel and staff especially for the price, close to sites, the center as well as restaurants and fast food.

Cosy and comfortable little boutique hotel

I booked this hotel for a friend as he was doing some academic visits in Ankara. He was most pleased with the service, room and staff. I was comfortable and definitely would book this hotel again. Highly reccomended.

very helpful staff

it was a lovely experience of my 2 days stay at Mithat Hotel, had no problems traveling and staying alone being a non native Turkish. very well guided for the directions from Aitport to hotel also to other places. Anyone would love the front view of the Kocatep Cami I would definitely stay again whenever I come back very soon. Amen Thankyou Mithat Hotel and Expedia!

Great hotel, location & price in central Ankara

A one day stay from Istanbul on transit to Azerbaijan. Should've stayed 1-2 days longer. Interesting city though not as interesting as historical Istanbul. Many universities thus crowded & lively with students.

Very friendly and accommodating staff!included breakfast was ok considering the price for hotel. Rooms and bathroom were extremely small! However we found that to be the norm for budget hotels on Turkey! Definitely will need automobile to get around.

My review of Mithad hotel

People are friendly, Bath room and Shower are in the same small room, It makes taking a shower a bid uncomfortable.Breakfast is good.

Ankara hotel

Good hotel generally, value for money. I was surprised though to discover that there were far more hotels in the vicinity than I had expected.

Terrible, cheap, very low class...

We stayed there for two nights and we hate this place! Bad language staff, non friendly, cheap services, bad breakfast in a small tray, noisy area because of a huge mosque (masjid) construction and a flea market, small and inconvenient bathroom, weak Wifi internet...

A happy find in Ankara!

A most comfortable and enjoyable experience so far I have just extended my stay for another 7 nights !Total days here =11.. It is a friendly and welcoming hotel; and reminds me of the elegant; well run 'old school' hotels of 40/ 50 years ago with all the state of the art perks circa 2014; including fast and efficient wifi throughout the building; a gorgeous tank filled with happy fish in the lobby; and two! massage chairs for weary visitors. The price is super as well for a great 2 minutes long massage. Cleanliness is apparent everywhere; and the hotel has been pleasantly refreshed re décor in 2012. The staff members at Mithat Hotel are very courteous and helpful at any hour. The 24/7 room service is a plus. I recommend this hotel for solo travelers; first time travelers to Turkey/ Ankara; and especially for solo women travelers. The location is great; with a comprehensive local bazaar market on the doorstep; and the train station and bus station are within walking and short taxi ride distances, respectively.The city centre is very close as well. Location of the hotel is well situated; and well worth the value.II have a few suggestions for even greater comforts; will discuss those with the manager; but none of these detract from my being a satisfied and grateful guest. Many thanks Mithat Hotel, I shall return.

No AC In some rooms in the hotel .

This Hotel is close to The city center , Its economical , Very small rooms and in some rooms there is no AC which in summer times is not easy to handel .

practically comfortable for a three-star hotel

I personally found it very conveniently convincing for the purpose of my visit in terms of location in the center of the city. All necessary basic needs are satisfied; the staff manages to understand you in English, organized, and variant well studied breakfast nutritious elements within the budget limits. I would rate it very good for a 3 stars hotel. Taxis and buses are at the vicinity of the hotel. Now there is a temporary digging for a new building project, right front the hotel, not a big deal if you are there for an overnight staying or a backpacker, due to the fact that there is no night making up work hours. Not spacious lobby but moderately proportioned with the size of the hotel. Security measures and rooms' maintenance are checked regularly. Beyond that is a matter of culture and courtesy of every single country that suits its own standards.

I and my family have been there for a week. Very clean, very polite personnel and cheap. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough. Near the Ataturk blv. It locates in a very busy area but at night the place is very dark and frightening.

Not bad...

The hotel is not far from the airport and the neighborhood is fine. There was a construction going on in front of the hotel which was making a lot of noise until late night or even early in the morning. The curtains were very thin so the room is not really dark during the night and there isn't much you can do about it. The reception can barely speak English (if any) and gave me wrong information! If you ask for some drinkable water in your room, you will be separately charged (double price). Also, there is not much space for the shower, when you have a shower, the whole toilet goes wet...

Nice hotel considering the location and the price

Stayed for just 1 night but was very pleased with the hotel location, staff responses, and the overall hotel condition. Did not have any problems to go almost everywhere in Ankara from the hotel, close to malls, food bazaar, etc.

Great for the money

Stuff was very helpful, breakfast was good enough, rooms are clean. Bathroom is little weird but okay for a short stay. Definetly clean hotel and safe.

OK if all you are looking for is a bed.

We got a room to share between 3 people. Room OK, although very simple. Bathroom was one of those where you can sit on the toilet, shower and brush your teeth at the same time:) Also a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways.

Nice and clean economy option

This hotel is not close to downtown, at least 20 minutes walk to major shops and busy parts of the city. But there are many convenience stores, restaurants, and other shops around it. The price is worth it. It is really clean, nice smelling and comfortable (I was there in winter and it was pretty warm). Free Wi-Fi with good speed available for unlimited number of devices. 1Mbps down and 800Kbps up, based on speedtest. The breakfast is complete and a lot, I couldn't finish it any day. Olives, veggies, ham, boiled egg, bread, tea/coffee, 4 types of cheese, jam, honey, butter, chocolate are available everyday. Rooms are cleaned daily or upon request, sheets were not changed as they were clean enough. But towels/shampoo/soap were replaced every day. There is a taxi station right at the door which makes your life very easy.

Great location and staff

Hotel is located directly across from a park that has numerous places to eat, a water show, and a theme park with amazing thrill seeking rides. Also located close to a metro to get around the city. Taxis are metered and parked outside the hotel. The Day Time Manager spoke good English and was able to give constant directions. I traveled with two women (Wife and sister in law). No problems for any of us. We wore shorts and stuck out as tourists; the Daytime Manager assured us that there wouldn't be a problem and there wasn't. I am a tall white American and stuck out like a sore thumb. The worst thing about the hotel is probably the shower being located in close proximity to the toilet. It is basically a shower head attached to a hose coming out of the wall with no glass barrier to prevent water from getting all over the floor. Have to get used to using those floor towels to keep it dry for the next person. The other thing was the breakfast. Not really a big and nutritious meal. You get cheese, olives, bread, ham and some other little things. Overall though, I felt safe, especially with my wife and her sister and that was important to me, especially being that I worked Force Protection for many years. Would stay there again.

quiet and convenient

The staff were always helpful and courteous. the room was as described, the situation convenient to walk to most of the sites.

Great for savings

There are two things I would note, one was the noise of central heeting pipes which made me to sleep away from them and take the matrass to the floor. Second point there are no english speaking TV channels in the hotel, apart from Polish music channel that air mixture of differenr songs. I overcome with this using my laptop to stream Uero-UK channels, there is free wifi. If this is not issue for you, then it is nice not expensive economic hotel

Good budget hotel in Ankara

The Mithat is in a very good central location, near the opera and only 2 minutes walk from Genclik Park. The rooms themselves are fairly basic, but are quiet and have a refridgerator. The shower is a bit unusual, in that it's part of the main bathroom, not a separate enclosure, so you basically shower in the toilet space. However, it's clean and can't be beat for the price. Breakfast is not a buffet, but the servings were generous. Free parking for hotel guests is provided in the public otopark in front of the hotel.

Very Comfort

The hotel is very comfort and the crews are very nice and informative. However the breakfast are all the same in every day and the location of the hotel are not near the city near. but totally I suggest the hotel

Except the shower which was practically on top of toilet. The rest was OK. You are not going to be frusterated.

well i spend 4 nights in the hotel , it is clean , nice , free internet , close to vice park , not far from airport transportation , not far for city center .. for lady's in the night am not sure it is nice it is empty area in the night but i didnt see any issues

I recommend hotel Mithat if you're not very picky.

The room was very clean, shower and restroom were clean too. The breakfast was good. It was very close to the train station and was very convenient for train travelers. WiFi was available. The water was not hot in the morning! The hotel's personnel told me there was a problem that day, but it was the same next day! so basically water was hot for taking shower after 6pm. There were no hair dryer in the room, and when I asked for it, they gave address to buy one!! Most of the hotel's workers couldn't communicate in English.

Otelin yeri ulaşım konusundan rahat yerde. Oda temizliği gayet iyidi ama yastık kılıfı biraz sararmış durumdaydı. Kahvaltı güzeldi açık büfe tarzında yeterli donanımdaydı. Genel olarak gayet iyi bir otel.

Odada su yoktu, istediğimizde parayla verdiler gerçekten bu kadar temel bir ihtiyacı karşılayamıyor olmaları çok şaşırtıcıydı. Saç kurutma makinesi yok ama isteyince getirdiler. Bunun dışında bir sorun yaşamadık, fiyat performans olarak iyi bir otel.

Wifiさえ改善されればパーフェクト！

Wifiが非常に不安定だったこと以外はロケーションもコスパも言うことなし。部屋の調度品やカーペットはかなり年季入ってますがお掃除は行き届いており口コミにあるような煙草の匂いもなかったし、目の前のジャミィもそれほどうるさくなくむしろ外出から戻るときの目印にもなりよかったです。博物館や食堂、市場、スーパーも近くにありとても便利でした。スタッフのかたも感じが良かったです。

Aynı fiyat bandında birçok otelde kaldım ve temizlik açısından sınıfta kaldılar. Fakat Mithat Otelde odamız (eşyalar falan eski ama) gayet temizdi. Banyo temizdi. Kahvaltı dahil olsaydı daha yüksek puan verirdim. Odada içilebilir su olsaydı güzel olurdu.

Çevresinde sadece gençlik parkı var kafelere uzak ayrıca herşey çok eski su dahi yok . Mini dolap yok kahvalti yetersiz . Rezervasyon yaptık ücreti versik diye kalmış olduk.

Sakin, sessiz ve temiz bir işletme. Oda içerisinde basit ve sade eşyalar ile günü birlik sadece uyumak için vakit geçirilebilecek bir işletme. Çalışanlar yardımcı olmaya odaklı, her işe karışmayan düzgün kişiler. Oda ve otel içi ışıklandırmalar daha aydınlık olabilir. İçerisi biraz karanlık ve basık geliyor. Aydınlatma ile bu sorun giderilmeli. Kullanılan eşyalar (dolap, komidin, sandalye vb) eski bunlar yenilenebilir ama iş görüyorlar. Yüksek beklentisi olmayan kişiler için f/p olarak kalınabilecek bir yer. Şehir merkezinde ve tarihi yerlere yürüme mesafesinde. İşletmecilere teşekkürler.

The quality of wi-fi cinnection was not ok. There was a lot of disconnect and it was too slow. It was said the breakfast is included in the room price. But they asked for extra price., although it was written in the elevator announcement. It is a good place for a person who wants to go out warly morning and come back late at night. It's good for a good place for sleep at a low price.

Ufak güzel bir odası vardı. Banyosu tuvaleti lavabosu heryer tertemizdi. İhtiyacım olan herşey vardı.

Temizlik 0. Klozet kirliydi. Odada böcek vardı. Odada su ısıtıcı, çay, kahve, hiç birşey yok. Hafta sonularda çay/kahve servisi yapılmıyor!! Elektrikde sık sık kesiliyordu.

Zentrale Lage (auch wenn dank der Moschee sehr laut). Zimmer überraschend gross und gut eingerichtet. Fand es relativ sauber. Minuspunkte: Freundlichkeit und Fremdsprachenkenntnisse des Personals. Frühstück ist teilweise extra und nicht sonderlich.

Beklentilerinizi karşılayabilir

Fiyatına göre tercih edilebilecek, çok fazla beklentiniz yoksa kalınabilecek bir otel. Karşısında büyük bir cami var, sabah ezanı sizin odanızın içinde okunuyor, kalacak olanların bu konuda rahatsız olmayacaklarından emin olmaları lazım. Temizlik açısından bir problemi yok, oda iş görür. internet hızı 2mbps üzerine çıkmıyor, kısıtlanmış.

Oldukça iyi bir otel deneyimi oldu açıkçası, gerek sessizliği, gerekse temizliği ve güler yüzlü ilgili personeli ile tavsiye edebileceğim bir konaklama yeri.Ayrıca otelin merkezi konumu da tartışılmaz bir özelliktir.Teşekküler...

Ücretsiz otopark yazmasına rağmen otopark yoktu. Wc ve duş birlikteydi. Ucuz ama bukadar olmamalı yada belirtilmeli. Odalarda su yok.

전반적으로 괜찮은 호텔

전반적으로 깨끗하고 관리가 잘 되고 있다는 느낌을 받아 편하게 쉴 수 있었습니다. 다만 호텔이 지하철역에서 많이 걸어가야 하는 위치에 있습니다.
