Maritza hotel never disappoints. It’s my go to when my family stays in Puerto Viejo. The owner Ana is a sweetheart and is always helpful. The hotel is now offering cereal, bread coffee and tea in the mornings. It’s a great touch.
TravellerI didn't like that we couldn't control the shower water. It was either cold or hot. Also, beds were too hard. Overall, people were very nice. They maintain it clean. Air conditioner was excellent.

We love the owner! She is very friendly and helpful! The hotel is safe, cute, clean, and quiet. It is a great location - to be able to walk everywhere, including the beach. Parking is gated at night. We have choosen to stay here for the last two summers.
