Hotel was alright, room wasn’t that clean and the bathroom was really rough.
This hotel was located in the old Prague neighborhood, so it wasn't exactly within walking distance from the train station. Nevertheless it was very easy to get Uber/Bolt within the Prague area, and so we were transported to the hotel within a short period of time. This is a much older hotel, with wooden furniture. The Standard Double room we had was very spacious, and the Bath/Shower was nicely remodeled with modern features yet an old-world atmosphere. Very accessible to all the tourist spots in the old town, all within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again.
Clean, simple, and accessible to the Old Town.
Very nice hotel
Perfect location
Amazing location, less than 2 minutes walk from Charles bridge and around 4 minutes from old town square. Rooms are nice and big enough, we got a delux room and was really nice! The only maybe negative point will be the cleaning, for a 4 start hotel I was expecting clean bedsheets and towes everyday, but that did not happened, we got our bed fixed everyday but no clean sheets. There is no restaurant in hotel, they do only breakfast which is 10 euros extra. But thats not a big of a deal as there are plenty restaurants close by. For the rest, amazing location.
The room was not what was shown on Expedia, it was convenient very walkable and to the city center and landmarks, many good bars and restaurant around if you need a place to sleep and don’t care what it looks like this is your place, next to this hotel they teach piano so they will play for a few hours a day.
Excellent
This was not clean at all. Do not stay here.
It is located on a quiet street in the heart of Old Town. Receptionist was very helpful and scheduled a taxi ride for us to Prague Main Train Station. Hotel is close to everything. Restaurants, Bars, Coffee shops, Starbucks, Gift shops, Convenient Stores and many attractions are in walking distance. We like the Christmas Market in Old Town Square and many attractions there. It was our first time visiting Prague. We stayed three nights. Best location!
We were greeted by a Doritos chip in our suite floor when we navigated around repair tools to get to our door. In the first 10 minutes we learned we had no water and thankfully needed to wait less than 30 minutes to wash the soap off our hands. The room amenities do not include toothbrushes/toothpaste or any other standard items in a restroom kit. There was a 3-in-1 gel liquid in the tub area that should serve as the shampoo/conditioner/body wash… be prepared. If you have mobility considerations please note stairs are unavoidable at this location.
The bathroom sink didn't drain because the plug was pushed in too hard. Asked a receptionist for calling a maintenance service to fix it. The issue was not solved. Two hours later asked a receptionist for some sharp tool to remove the plug and solved the issue myself.
There was not towel in the bathroom and matress was terrible
Great location and value
All good
Felt safe and good sleep.
I’ll choose to stay here next time in Prague
Perfect room on perfect location
Very great room with beautiful view over Prague. Service is very friendly and supportive
Close to everything!

Didnt stay long (one night) but found the hotel perfect in a perfect location. Thanks
Great location, barely any service, the front desk is only from 9am to 10pm. But i just need a place to stay and enjoy the city, so a reasonable place to stay,
Get a room with a city view if you can. Mine was spectacular.
Close to many old town attractions.
Location .Great location .In a mainattraction but very quiet at time .All sights walkable .
My room looked like a princess could stay. The front desk attendant was absolutely incredible & very helpful. If you can’t manage stairs it isn’t the property for you. The property was conveniently located in the heart of Old Towne Prague. I would stay here again.
Bed was very hard , not too hot water, old towels, very small room, terrible breakfast. The front desks guys were very nice.
Good location, but OLD hotel. Beds were very uncomfortable. Bathroom was nice. Window hooks were broken and difficult to open. But we figured it out. We really needed fresh air.
The view and location were perfect! Staff at front desk were lovely and helpfull.
Perfect location!
Friendly, helpful staff. Ornately decorated room with lovely views of the city. Close to popular attractions.
GO LOOK AT THE GOOGLE REVIEWS, THE EXPEDIA REVIEWS ARE LIKELY BOTS AND FALSE
I stayed 10 hotels during this trip. This is the worst hotel. The first room we got has strong smoking smell. After we talked with the staff, he gave us another room which smells moldy. Everything is old and not clean. Don’t book this hotel.
Clean and right on the centre of Old Town Prague. Whilst the decor was dated, the room was spotless and good for a few nights exploring a beautiful city.
The hotel was fantastic, location was perfect, check in and out was easy. Would happily stay again.
All was great! Only little thing is i paid for a city view and didn’t get a city view
Staff were very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location excellent in Old Town with short walk to all attractions. Convenient luggage storage.
The staff wasn't very friendly, breakfast was very poor. The bath top with shower head was very disappointing, why is not shower attached to the wall and the top covered you can take comfortably shower??? It is not place I will want to return to!
The front desk and staff were attentive and polite but, my week long stay felt more like a stay at a dormitory or rooming house than a hotel. 2 twin beds were pushed together in an attempt to form a king size bed but they didn’t have a connector between the twin mattresses and did not have king sheets … so, twin sheets were installed sideways (overlapping around your knees). The toilet was an elongated bowl but they had installed a cheap, round toilet seat on it so, parts of your body would sometimes come into contact with the front porcelain rim of the toilet which is unsanitary. And, the inside lid of the round toilet seat would constantly rub on your back (again, not very sanitary and annoying.) For the first couple of days, the maid service came but the last 4 or 5 days, the maids merely folded the top sheet and emptied the trash. The last 4 days, I was using the same towels and the last 3 days, they took the bathroom mat but didm’t replace it. The shower also leaked a couple of gallons into the bathroom floor the first time I used it … so I reported it and they sent a maintenance man very quickly. Unfortunately, he needed to order a replacement part and it would be fixed only after I left on Monday. The hotel is located deep in the heart of Prague Old Town and is walking distance to some of the best that Prague has to offer, which is a lot! Prague is a wonderful city! This hotel could use some pointers from the Swiss on how to best run a hotel.
Location of the hotel is excellent. All main attractions are within a few minutes walk. Staff is great and friendly. The rooms are a bit outdated and the room service was not prompt; other than that the location and staff are well worth the money.
The room was too small for the amount of furniture in it, the door handle to the bathroom would constantly fall off and there was construction noise right outside and loud noises coming from the inside the hotel at the early hours of the day (6:30am).
This Hotel is poorly decorated ( it's dated ) but, it is in the middle of everything!! A 5 min walk to the Bridge and other major attractions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT
Great location, Room needs help
Location is amazing, right there ant the Old Town Square. It’s an old hotel building needs some improvement on mattresses. The rug was not vacuumed .
Good but not too clean
The room was very nice , but bot as clean as i expected. Bathroom was dirty and the carpet wasn’t vacuumed. Also the bed sheets had stains on it.
Perfect location for sight seeing in Prague
Great location. Right around the corner from the Charles Bridge. Quick walk to most major attractions and public transportation nearby as well. Friendly and helpful staff. The area gets very busy on the weekend, but in my room I was not disturbed by the noise.
Good property close to old town square and shops. Nice helpful staff
It’s a beautiful hotel. Not as clean as expected. The staff was not helpful when reporting missing towels and soap in the reception bathroom, they said it’s been like that since 2 years 😖
Really nice acommodation
BEST for a SHORT (1-2 night max) stay. The property's location was ideal if you want to be in the center of the action (at least center of the old town). We were steps away from the Charles Bridge and a short walking distance to the clock tower and central square. HOWEVER, not great for longer stays or fussier travelers (1) because there is a definite issue with the plumbing and there was an awful sewer smell from the bathrooms; (2) also not great for anyone with mobility issues as there are still several steps required to get to/from the rooms and elevators. I didn't see the other comments about the smells before booking, and mainly chose it based on location, but I wouldn't have stayed again, had I seen the smell comments, and I don't plan to return. FOR THE PRICE, however, the location cannot be beat.
Excellent value right in the heart of Prague old town. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was lovely. Only criticism would be the lack of a proper pole for the shower head.
The room was vary clean . The staff was vary kind. Thank you so much . Vered .
Really a nice property to stay and it’s very much at old town can access to public transport easily
I would not say that this is a 4 star hotel. It was fine for what we needed for a few days, but there was an old smell to the room and the carpet clearly wasn’t very clean. There was a lack of amenities in the bathroom and the hand soap was extremely watered down. Lots of stairs to bring bags up and staff didn’t offer to help. Staff was clearly just random workers not actual hospitality trained staff like in every other 4 star hotel I’ve stayed at. Like I said it’ll get the job done, but the photos and rating are deceiving.
Reception area furnitures are dusty but room is clean & big enough for the three of us. For seniors like us with heavy luggage lift (old bldg) is inconvenient but Paul stayed up late waited for us due to train delayed on arrival & helped us to carry our luggage to the 4th flr room. He is nice & helpful. Thank you so much.
Central to everything, needs a little TLC but good overall.
Stayed at this hotel due to location (close to the marathon start line) within 5 minute walk to the Astro Clock and many old town landmarks. The pillow cases were dirty and stained. The shower has 2 karge steps to get into the tub (no shower curtain, hand-held shower head). Location is phenomenal but facility is not up to par.
Okay place. Very convenient location.
Towels were not changed daily. Front desk staff was not friendly. There were no staff preaent during our check out.
Hotel was definitely not 4 star as advertised
Room was loud, phone didn’t work, no heat, toilet plugged, bed was hard as a rock and housekeeping was really poor
Location was fabulous. Shower was clogged. Towels were rough, dingy looking and old.
Right in the center of Old Town Prague!! The ideal location and the room itself suited our needs give. We were there for a short time. Will note that the draining system is not the best and it took a while for water to go down the sink. But otherwise it was satisfactory
It was okay
Was a very dated hotel, lift was under construction when I went and a lot of noise. I feel this place is good for the price but overall it’s not somewhere I’d shout from the rooftops about
The hotel is situated in a very centre of Old Town close to many main tourist spots. I stayed for one night only so I can’t really give a relevant review. I was satisfied with what I got.
Misleading
Room was old and smelled like mildew. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Front desk closes early so you have to use a separate entrance with a key to enter the hotel. Antiquated facilities with creaky floors. Only positive thing is that it is close to Old Town Prague.
Wonderful Hotel In Historic Old Town
Wonderful hotel within walking distance to all the sights. The room with a view was amazing! Also, Peter, at the front desk was very helpful and all the staff speak English. We hope to return some day!
Great location, helpful staff, lovely room, excellent value
The hotel was a very pleasant surprise staff was very enthusiastic to help hotel was very clean. I would have liked a coffee maker in the room. Only thing missing The location was perfect snd it was very quiet. Thank you
Except poor internet connection, everything was awesome. Issues handled in no time and the staff is really friendly
A well appointed centrally located hotel. Staff were extremely helpful. I would recommend Hotel Liviova.
Mattress distress
I would be happy to provide with a better review rating if it wasn’t for the extra 2-3 days it took me to recover from sleeping in that shadow of a mock of a mattress. Not only me, my fit 27 year old son experienced the same problem. If you can forgive that, the location is great as it is the attentive staff. Also easy access to public transportation and delicious in-site breakfast
If you want to feel the place, stay here. ... Vibrant, touristy and safe & quiet. The staff was extremely helpful & friendly. If we ever visit Prague again, would love to stay in the same hotel and relive the experience. Thank you.
Pleasant stay in the hotel , clean the staff friendly hotel in the Center so we just walked around shops restaurants pleasantly no worries.parking close but limited spaces so need to drive around tight streets little stressful , over all hotel stay good memories.
The room was dirty. We had 3 sleeping arraingments and one of the beds had bloody stains on the sheets. I asked the front desk to alert the houskeeping, which they did. When we came back the beds were made but the same sheets were there. The tables and furniture frames, and inside the clothing cabinet was so much dust I did not have to run a finger. We could see it. My white clothes were dirty from the dust and ai could not wear them. Location is great, but I do not recommend it due to the dirty conditions.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. It was a pleasant stay and would stay over again. Was happy with if.
Hostel not Hotel
Upon check in we were told that there would be no one at the reception for the evening and then shown the stairs and elevator to our room, but we were not taken to our room. The elevator carpet floor smelled like vomit and was filthy. Once we entered the room I realized it was not the room I booked. I refused to allow this to ruin our trip and I was tired so I just wanted to lay down and unpack. As soon as I laid down on the bed I could feel there was a huge dip in the mattress and the pillows were lumpy. It felt as though the mattresses and pillows had not been replaced in over 10 years. I then realized there were stains on the comforter as is if the sheets had not been washed properly. I then noticed there was dust on every service as if no one had dusted in weeks. I then went into the shower to rinse off and realized there wasn’t any hot water and the towels were also very old. At this point I had had enough and contacted hotels.com to see about changing my booking and checking out early and that I did not want to disturb the hotel so I asked the agent not to contact the hotel, but he did anyway and the receptionist called me and was angry and rude with me calling me a liar, which I did not appreciate. This was the worst experience I have had dealing with a hotel and it was the worst accommodations I have had in over 15 years booking with hotels.com.
Super friendly and helpful staff, and beautiful spacious rooms. Great location as well in Old Town Prague.
Warning * do not stay here * !!! By far the worst experience of my life !! This is not a hotel this is a bed and breakfast run by teenagers Arrived at 1:45 told check in isn’t til too , I asked if I can go ahead and finish the check in process so I can just go to my room at 2 or when it’s available I was told no one can check in before 2 pm exactly , so at 2 pm now u have a long line of everyone who arrived before 2 pm trying to check in at the same time and only one receptionist I thought to myself it’s unusual but it’s ok everyone does things different , they they handed me the keys which are connected to a door knob shaped wooden key holder ( worse shape ever to carry I. Ur pocket ) again I wasn’t going to let something trivial urine my vacation. On the way to my room I notice musty smells , damp carpets at different locations and in elevator. Once in the room I wanted to shower only to release there is no shower !! Now maybe this is my fault for not checking but it seems like the whole design was wrong , there is a tub with a shower wand , but it reaches just under my chest ( I’m 5’11) I tried to sit in the tub but the wand wouldn’t stay in the shower( pointing down) position I tried standing the water goes everywhere if note the water was Luke warm at best. Full disclosure I don’t take hot shower I like my shower warm even no steam and I felt it was way to cold it was like taking a cold shower! I decided to get on with it, I need more charactersto finish review
The hotel is advertised as a 4 star hotel but it is more like a hostel. The elevator goes from and to half floors, furniture is uncomfortable, thin foam mattress, furniture made of pine, no toiletries, old bathtub with unhealthy curtain, small handheld showerhead with no possibility to hang, thin walls, TV worked only in Csech and although they "fixed" it, worked for a short while every time. Reception closed at night so you have to go in via a side door and around the building, not all light bulbs in the room worked and had to be changed, no water heater, no glasses or cups, the room wasn't cleaned during our 5 nights stay just towels were changed
We loved our stay at Hotel Liliova! The Staff was incredibly responsive and helpful and the place was clean and perfectly situated allowing us to walk everywhere!
Great location, clean room, comfortable bed. That’s all I need!
Convenient location for the Old Town. Quiet. My stay was marred by the total absence of hot water on one of my mornings there.
A beautiful place in the heart of Prague. When we arrived early in the morning the hotel allowed us to check in early and were so very helpful in helping us in to our room and making sure we were cared for. Throughout the stay the staff were exemplary and I can not put in to words how friendly and accommodating they are. Top class. The room was tidy and clean, and also had a fridge! Very helpful. Wifi was fast and beds were extremely comfy. Very much enjoyed my first time in Prague, and when I eventually visit this beautiful city again in the future, I'll be sure to book the same hotel again.
Perfect distance from Charles bridge, the square and everything interesting with Prague. Driver was really polite and professional. The only bad thing is walls are really thin so we could hear multiple neighbors on the floor. Overall a really great stay.
it was amazing, very good reception
Find safer parking
Sadly our car got ransacked parked outside the hotel, for €25 a night you would expect some kind of security
Lovely Stay, We highly Recommended!!
The hotel was in a great location. The staff was extremely helpful !! We’ve never been to Progue and it was nice the staff could answer some questions. Hotel was clean, shower had super hot water w/ great water pressure! Highly recommend this hotel. Very enjoyable & the price was affordable
Perfect location , just couple steps to Charles bridge , old town and bunches of restaurants. Staffs are amazing ! Friendly and useful
We emailed receptions@hoteliliova.com for the cancellation with a refund due to COVID-19. Our international flight was cancelled by air flight company. However, I didn't get any feedback from the hotel. The Expedia has coordinated our case with Hotel Liliova Prague Old Town and unfortunately, they have denied to waive the fee for our cancellation request.
Opened the windows a little, turned heater off because it got too hot in the room. Comfortable beds and overall nice accommodation. Excellent location, very close to Charles Bridge, Astromical Clock and Old Town Square.
Very large room. Clean. Very well situated. Would stay again.
Perfect location for the best places in Prague Old Town . The room was large with a lovely clean bathroom . We were allowed to check straight in even though we arrived in the morning and reception staff were all very friendly and helpful
Great Hotel situated in the Heart of Prague Old Town. Breakfast included in price. The Taxi that they arranged was bang on time. Back to Prague in July and will book again.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
Great location! Great lobby/bar and breakfast. The only issue was the pillows were flat and lumpy. Triple room had plenty of space for family of three. Stayed on third floor facing Charles Bridge and no street noise.
Nice close location to all main tourist attractions in the old town. The street the hotel is on is quiet but leads to all the packed touristy areas. I’ve lost count the amount of times I’ve stayed in Prague but this hotel was ok. There was a second building behind the main reception building where we stayed so we had to go outside and use a side door walk down a short path and and swipe through another door to get into the building. There was no lift so we took the stairs. Room was nice but not cleaned properly there was an empty champagne cork on the floor and there was dust on the side unit. The only other thing was the radiator needed bleeding as there was air lock making noise so had to turn it off otherwise a nice quiet room. The breakfast was fine but we had leave our room to go outside and make our Way into reception to gain access to the breakfast room. To be fair and there were rooms in the main building with the reception. There is a bar in reception which I used too. The service was great but we didn’t really complain as we were only there for 1 night.
Hotel is in the old town you can walk to most of the places you would like to visit
Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The location is perfect for exploring.
Lovely hotel and well located.
Hotel Liliová is centrally located in Prague Old Town (five minute walk west to Charles Bridge, East to Astrological Clock, north t metro station and popular open souvenir market stalls). Hotel staff pointed us to nearby excellent super market and money exchange. Note exchange rates can vary significantly from 1,800 to 2,500 CZK per euro. Room was very clean, spacious, with safe, memory foam bed, mini fridge, soaking tub, towel warmer and lots of storage (we may have been upgraded since our stay was for 13 days). Double windows eliminated 95% of street noise. Complementary breakfast was very good with variety of fresh fruits, meats, egg, cheeses, juices, yogurts, cereal and breads. They will provide nice breakfast bag (sandwiches, cheese, fruit and drink) if you need to leave early for day trip or airport. David was efficient in servicing the breakfast area and Evan was friendly and helpful at reception. Rate hotel 10 out of 10 for overall price value and central location. If you want 5 star hotel with all the amenities it would cost two to three times more. Some cons that should be noted include difficult for less mobile persons despite elevator, no English speaking tv channels, lack of frills (lotion, Kleenex, stationeries). We overlooked the cons since hotel positives were so nice during our visit and would definitely stay here again.

Great location p
Weekend away. This hotel was ideal. Location is great, 2 minuites from Charles bridge and lots of bars restraints and shops on the doorstep. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room was a decent enough size, considering we only slept and showered there, just what you need for a couple of nights
