Beautiful hotel with a very nice room and luxury bathroom. Very nice breakfast. Hotel staff very nice and accommodating. Location was excellent for proximity to Christmas markets, which was the reason for our trip.

Great weekend in Luxembourg

Brilliant hotel, lovely central location, awesome staff, fab bar (and shout out to ayrton a top mixologist!!!!).

The room was gorgeous and the staff were so professional and friendly. Right next to some good shopping and in a pretty square.

The staff, as they always are in any hotel, are the crowning glory at this beautiful hotel. Andrea and the other bar staff were so friendly as were Alicia and the front desk staff. We ate at Pless restaurant one night and it was excellent. We enjoyed the terrace bar too and the excellent mixologist/bar tenders!

Once again this boutique hotel surpasses all expectations.

Gorgeous room! Comfortable, well-appointed. We loved walking out into the Christmas Market, and its convenience to shops. At night the lounge was amazing~ great tapas, and the playlist was memorable! We made a happy memory here and plan to return with our adult children and their SO's. Thank you!!

Disappointed

We were very disappointed at our service upon check in. My husband and I were traveling with his 94 year old blind mother. We had upgraded our room when booking. When checking in, I completed paperwork for both rooms since my mother in law is blind. They gave our upgraded room to our mother which was in the top floor, very large, separate sitting area, sky lights, and beamed ceiling. Our room was small but comfortable. I went downstairs to inquire with the front desk attendant who checked us in and she was very rude and stated both rooms were the same category which they clearly were not. And even if they were, why would you give the larger more luxurious room to the single blind woman versus the couple. She basically said "too bad, it is what it is and there is nothing I can do". Very rude and not expected at a hotel if this caliber. The other staff were wonderful. Hotel is beautiful and located in a central location.

Crazy rooms.

Watch out for Room #1 especially if you have mobility issues. Craziest layout I’ve ever seen out of hundreds of hotels and 40 years of global travel. Creaky old 16th century leads to small upstairs bedroom and shower. Toilet room is on the main level with small sitting room. Quality of amenities, service and cleanliness were all very nice.

Property is beautiful and upscale (not really our cup of tea). Staff is very nice and helpful. Close to many activities. Parking and finding the place is a joke. If driving you have to intercom the city to lower barriers so you can get to the property.

Excellent service. Employees at front desk were excellent. We were impressed with Irene Izquierdo as she did everything to help us feel happy , getting info, latecheck out, coordinating golf info, calling our next town stay and arranging to get our car.

Nice, but….

Nice hotel. Centrally located. Very clean and neat. Lots of stairs because they combined 6 homes to make a hotel. Avoid room 10. Has a circular staircase so small you have to put your foot on sidewise to fit. Bathroom on lower level, bed up that tiny stairway. Not idea in the middle of the night!

Excellent service good location

Overall, it is a very nice property and I would recommend it. But with the room rates charged by the hotel, I would have not expected the mouldy smell in the elevator, and expected to be informed at the time of checking in that breakfast was included in the room charge - just a tad disappointing. Sorry, as I am not normally a complainer, but felt that our experience could have been a bit better.

Luxury, impecable service, and convenience combined. Right at the Place de Armes plaza with Chrismas market at the door and walking distance to all landmarks and shopping mall next door. With dining options and amazing breakfast one doesn’t have to leave hotel.

The property was very well managed. Also, a staff member, Alicia Soriano, helped us with multiple issues to make our stay more enjoyable.

The hotel was central to everything. The room was quiet and comfortable. The staff were attentive, kind and helpful. I enjoyed my stay. I wish the fitness center had heavy free hand weights but they had smaller weights and I made do. Overall super highly recommend and I’ll be coming here again.

We loved the property itself but area with fast food (McDonalds-Burger King) is a low point. Luxembourg overall is rather a boring city not really go for more than a one night layover- Food at restaurant was over touched in a typical Michean star way which gets so boring so quickly- good wine list.

One of the best stays we have had in 20 years of traveling, everything about this boutique hotel was excellent. Location and proximity, upscale accommodations and excellent customer service. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Luxembourg

perfect location, interesting common areas, beautiful and spacious room, especially the bathroom.

Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. I will certainly come again. We had the Prestige Suite the first time but won't need such a large room the next time and will downsize to a double room. The property is directly on the main square of town center and underground parking is 150m away. You can do a 2-day pub crawl at just the restaurants on the this one square, but then you'd miss out on all the other cool stuff that this compact town center has to offer.

This hotel is really well located within the old town. Probably second to none. We had a feature room which was spacious and tastefully furnished. You must try the cocktail bar; the attitude of all the staff was excellent.

Gem in downtown Luxembourg

It was a wonderful stay. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful and very clean, the services provided (laundry, etc.) were efficient and thorough. There's plenty of wonderful amenities in the room, and a lot of closet space. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was insulated very well, you couldn't tell you were right off a busy town square. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Quite a welcome I received. Everyone was lovely from the frontdesk, to showing me my room, bringing my luggage quickly to my room. Someone showed me a map and a free walking tour, recommendations what to see and how to get there. My only disappointment was Cristallerie was closed on the days I was there but Pless did not disappoint either! Location was perfect, in the very center. Clean and comfortable. The only issue (if I had to be picky) was the thermostat was controlled by frontdesk. The only issue with this is I typically like the room colder at night. Everytime I wanted the temp changed, I had to let the frondesk know. The room size was fine, but may be on the smaller side if more than 1 person. Highly recommend!! Location, pleasant staff, great restaurants.

Perferct!

The hotel is centrally located in the shopping area of the old city. This did however cause confusion in regards to our arrival. We had driven from Nuremberg and reserved a parking spot in the hotel’s secured garage. The directions provided were not clear and sent me on a 30 minute detour trying to find parking in an already congested area. Had they explained that we were to drive through foot-traffic it would have helped. The staff however was able to talk me through this obstacle. Other than a power outage during breakfast, which was comped, we had a good experience and would recommend this hotel to our friends and family!

This hotel was in the perfect location and provided first class service! We had excellent communication with the management even before we set foot on the property, particularly regarding the driving instructions to get to the hotel. This would have been quite a challenge, given that the hotel is on a “pedestrian only” square, but we were able to drive right up to the hotel. The food was excellent and we enjoyed the greatest, custom crafted drinks from James at the hotel bar! Highly recommend!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A delightful stay in a lovely hotel spoiled by incompetent reception staff who charged my credit card twice, initially denied they had done so and then failed to apologise - blaming ‘the system’.

I checked into the hotel at 11pm and left the next morning. On arrival i found out that there was nothing warm available from room service nor could i order a drink in my room since the bar was closed. Not something you would expect from a supposedly 5 star hotel.

The staff were very polite and helpful. The hotel itself is very beautiful and located in the heart of the city center. We will stay at this hotel again if we return to Luxembourg.

Everything you would expect from a Relais & Chateaux hotel. First class service, outstanding restaurant and a beautiful room on the top floor is worth the extra. Top quality 👍

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff, was a little disappointed that no little gesture of good will was placed in the room for my husbands birthday, as other hotels have done so for such occassions.

Simply a step into Paris like one would imagine and dream of.... the grand entrance into a circular drive with tuxedo white tailed staff awaiting on the steps to begin your wonderful stay and assisting with every need you may have. Just the perfect place for a romantic couple or also for a little girl pretending she lived in a grand palace in Paris, her dreams would certainly come true here!!

Great stay in Luxembourg

We had a good stay at this hotel. Our room was huge, and very comfortable. The bed was great and the bathroom was very nice and modern. We were in town for the Christmas markets and all we had to do is go our the front door of our hotel and it was right there! It is ideal if you are visiting the markets!

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in

Right in the old town, perfect location and the hotel is just beautiful. I am not a fan of hotel restaurants as I prefer to go out to find local places for food, but Le Pless in this hotel is very good, great food and great services. I am just a bit disappointed that the other restaurant in the hotel, La Cristallerie was fully booked so I didn't get a chance to try this one michelin restaurant there. Anyway, I will certain go back :)

The price is a bit high for the quality of room. But overall, it is a good hotel because it is in the city center.

Ok, far from brilliant

Nice enough hotel but definitely not 5 star as claimed. Deco is a bit nouveau riche but also in a hotchpotch kind of way. Check in was very inefficient and amateurish. We were left idle without being greeted or acknowledged for minutes. When at last it was our term, everything that was read out about our stay was incorrect. Charge for overnight parking was €30 although apparently this was the going rate around. Room was ok, TV signal scrambled, again not what you’d expect in a supposedly 5 star establishment. Towels, bathrobes and slippers were nice though. Good breakfast, however, wish they had let us know that it was possible to order fresh eggs. Again, you’d expect it in a 5 star hotel. They charged the card €50 deposit for an adapter plug! So much trust toward guests... Finally the following day when I asked if they could send me a hotel brochure in the post, they wanted to take credit card details. Told them to forget about it; whilst we live in the UK, the postage is probably €3-5, not exactly breaking the bank, but would have been a nice gesture toward guests, also part of their marketing in case I wanted to share it with others. Could be a nice place but lots of room for improvement

Hotel was beautiful and I got the most amazing deal on Expedia ($200 off)!!!!!! Staff spoke great English hotel is located near all of down town shopping and tourist sites. Will stay here again for sure thank you Expedia.

Excellent except room cleaning staff

All staff were experienced and kind including their restaurant and cafe. But one thing we were extremely surprised at was one staff opened our room without ringing a bell nor knocking door. We could not understand what happened so could not popped out our room without locking all luggage to secure. So we asked room service for our dinner rather than going out.

A perfectly located hotel.

We only stayed one night. But the location was perfect. The hotel had old world charm. It feed our needs. It was walking distance to everything.

Great hotel in centre of Lux City

This is a really high quality hotel with extremely well-designed and comfortable rooms. Everything you could ask for. The bathroom in the room I had was "exposed" and can be screened with a curtain (not uncommon in Europe). The bath and shower were wonderful. Did not eat in the restaurants. One was closed. Le Pless looked good. Did sit and have a drink in the Cafe de Paris but it's right in the square and felt too noisy for dinner. Others might like the atmosphere. Overall an extremely good hotel.

Amazing Hotel

This is a very good hotel. Location is perfect as it is right on the main square and minutes from everything. Front desk were superb. Valet parking was also a nice touch. Restaurant was excellent. Rooms were amazing and the new renovation which combines modern design with the heritage of the building is unique. I would definitely stay here again.

A very beautiful place

There property is beautiful & well maintained. They have to sort out their air conditioning issues. The the price of their rooms, I expect the air-conditioning to work well.

First class property, The staff was excellent and the room was super comfortable. The next time we go to Luxembourg City, we would book there without looking anywhere else.

Wonderful weekend in Lux City

We stayed Fri and Sat night, and the room was a great treat at a reasonable price (much lower than on weekdays). Staff was extremely courteous and helpful, and while they clearly cater to weekday business travelers, we felt very welcome as weekend vacationers with a toddler.

Perfectly located in the city centre. Very stylish hotel. We had a lovely room, very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. We had dinner at La Cristallerie and it was just perfect.

Everything was very fine and the staff was very friendly. The maid service was very attentive to detail and it looked like s/he took the time to go the extra mile. The breakfast was very fresh and tasty.

Beautiful hotel and exceptional service. We had an issue finding the hotel as the GPS wouldn't account for the fact the hotel was on a pedestrian walkway/square. After two calls to the hotel to get accurate directions, we were finally able to find it.
