An amazing hotel in an amazing city

We moved to Hotel Lavender after having an awful experience with our previous hotel. We couldnt have moved to a better hotel at all. Hotel Lavender made our krakow experience all the better. We were greeted by paulina who was incredibly helpful and we couldnt be more greatful, weather it was booking our trip to Wieliczka, or holding out luggage on the last day of out holiday nothing was too much. The room was lovely we had room 15 set out as a double (two singles pushed togeather understandably dur to room convert ability) there was tea making facilities in the room along side complementary bottled water, around the room we noticed the provided sewing kit and shoe polishing kit as well as makeup removal pads in the bathroom. The room had an amazing airconditioning system that kept the room lovely and cool whilest it was warm. The bathroom was great including the incredible power shower that delivered a wonderfull back massage each evening. All in all hotel Lavender is definatly up there with the best hotels that we have stayed in across the globe and next time we find out selves in Krakow we will definitely be booking here again. Within walking distance of centre. Tram noise from 4am if room is street facing. Good choice at breakfast. Not double bed as stated ,just two singles pushed together with two single duvets.Plastic mattress cover on beds caused issues as bed sheets were far too small for the beds.

Great hotel for short stay

Stayed here only 3 nights. Very close to the old town and a pleasant walk in. Room was clean and spacious. Hadn't booked breakfast so comment on that. Overall very happy and would stay again.

Nice property, rooms clean, not a lot in the surrounding area (bars wise) but only a 10 min walk to the main square and other areas of interest so ideally located

Really nice service, everyone super friendly and helpful and amazing. Great location, walkable to everywhere and next to tram, bus, bike and scooter parking and 3 markets max 10 meters away. Really warm rooms, duvet and bed, even after had to convince to let us turn on the ac, at night it was unbearable! And bed too uncomfortable and had given in.

8/10 lovely stay for a 5 night mini break

The hotel is well decorated and has a really nice ambiance. We booked a deluxe room and was expecting a larger room than initially provided. However, we were moved to another room when we asked. The modern rooms are really comfortable. Fridge and kettle provided, although only teabags and sugar available…no milk or coffee. We had brought our own so this wasn’t a big deal. Two bottles of water provided each day (one still and one sparkling). The bed is really comfy. My gripe is that the sheets aren’t big enough to cover the mattress and you only get one small pillow (I had to ask for another pillow and the first night do without as the hotel was ‘busy’, but received the additional pillows for our remaining 4 nights. Decent size TV although no English speaking channels at all. The bathroom is really nicely decorated and has a decent hairdryer. Basic hand wash at the sink and body wash in the shower. No other toiletries. The front of the hotel can get noisy with trams etc, however there were some earplugs in the wardrobe if needed. Superb location, being 10-15 minutes walk from the square. Some excursions will collect/drop off at the hotel too. Konrad was really helpful and very chatty when on duty.

Location was good- only a short walk to the main square and other sites. Comfortable rooms with basic amenities. Pillows need replacing as they were poor quality. Water was provided daily which was a nice touch. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. A special thanks to the lady who was at the desk in the evening- amazing! Went above and beyond to help. Breakfast was basic and not much on offer for vegetarians. Would recommend as met our needs for a short break.

Great location only 10-15 minutes walk from the Galaria and the old town. Room was comfortable and quiet. A lovely stay where we will definitely use again.

Good hotel

The hotel is situated 10 minutes walk from the old town, but its also a tram station next to the hotel. Line 18 was very comfortable to reach the old town or the castle. Because the tram our room was little noisy during the day. The room was clean and large, breakfast ok.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Lovely hotel, friendly staff and it's in a great location. The room was very clean and spacious. There was a kettle and fridge in the room, they provide teabags but not coffee. I always bring some so it wasn't a problem. There is also a nice coffee shop next door. It was a bit noisy as we were at the front of the building but I wore earplugs so it wasn't an issue for me. Maybe request a room at the back if you don't like noise. Overall, it was a great stay and I would book here again.

Didn’t want to leave

This is the place to stay, can easily walk to old town but I’d still not in old town so quiet.

Loved the property at Lavender hotel, very clean spacious, decent breakfast. Only downside was outside noise during the night, trams, and drunken rabble as hotel on busy road, but that's not hotels fault.

It was perfect stay!

Lovely modern rooms and only 10-15 minute walk from main square. Breakfast great too. Staff friendly. Only small issue was we had no lightbulb in our main light in room and although reception was told it never got changed so we had to walk into the dark each night to find a lamp to turn on although this didn’t effect how we felt about the hotel. We would definitely stay again

Hotel Lavender an ideal place to stay in Krakow

Hotel Lavender is excellently situates for the main square, we were welcomed by a friendly young lady at reception who held our bags securely as we arrived early. Breakfast was lovely, choice of hot or cold option including cereals. Rooms were clean with comfy beds, we asked for an extra pillow and it was brought straight up to us. Shower was lovely and hot and different power settings. Bar/restaurant was clean and we sat and had a drink once we got back from our evening out. Overall this was an enjoyable short break in a very nice hotel which was worth the money.

Great hotel situated near the main square. Very friendly staff who helped arrange trips for us. Perfect location for restaurants, pubs, shops and pick up for trips. Lovely room, great shower and staff who could not have been more helpful.

Absolutely cracking hotel! Amazing value for money. We were in Room 23. Beds were really creaky, but we were soooo exhausted from exploring the city that we slept like logs, but they have potential to annoy people! Staff are really nice, breakfast choice wasn’t great for me as I’m a picky eater, but for a couple of pound it is worth it if you like continental style breakfasts. I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Staff very friendly and helpful. Decent size room with tea/coffee facilities. 30 min walk to main town square. About 20 min to airport. Breakfast available for $17AUD each with good choices. Car parking can be arranged with the hotel

Comfortable, very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient t location for many attractions. Food quality good but selection rather limited. Note that lifts open on half landings and do not go to all bedrooms. Nice open terrace for drinks and meals but no view. Hotel very well presented.

Location was very central. It was only a 10 minute walk to the main town square and many other places were also close by.

Good location as it was a 10 minute walk from old town. The staff were very efficient. They were not over friendly but they certainly weren’t rude. The restaurant launched a new menu while we were there and the food was absolutely amazing. However the restaurant was very quiet so it lacked atmoshere and the ambience was spoilt by the bright lighting and the intrusive plasma screens advertising the hotel. The food was stunning and reasonably priced so it is well worth putting up with the environment to enjoy the food. Work on the marketing to passing trade and hotel guests and it will be successful.

This property was in a perfect location. Staff on the reception were very friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and very modern. We loved the little shampoo and shower gel provided. The dressing gowns were also a nice touch.

Lovely hotel which was within easy walking distance to the train station and main square. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, only problem is that the walls in the room were very thin and you can hear noisy neighbours next door.

Lovely, clean modern interior. Customer service excellent in arranging excursions, airport taxi. Mini fridge in room which was great for keeping milk, food etc. Very close to main market square,short walk.

Overall good stay

The hotel was very clean, towels were changed daily and all receptionists were friendly and helpful. Especially when we forgot our travel plug adapter! Only downside was there being no privacy in the bathroom as there was no blind etc, we had to hang a towel so nobody could see in!

Hotel was a good distance from the main square. People at the front desk were nice and friendly and room was cleaned well every day.

good hotel good location only downside was the bar as it was closed when we went back at 9.55 a bit early if you want a nightcap.

Twin room 3 night stay

Choose this hotel as it was only a 5-10 min walk to main square, a very pleasing hotel staff very friendly and they allow you to drop your bag off early and leave it there after check out Only thing I could fault it on is that for a modern looking hotel there no usb outlets in the room I would stay again and would recommend it

Great hotel for reasonable price

Everything was perfect, the only thing that could improve are mattresses as they were not the most comfortable. Very helpful and smiling staff. All requests were handled in a professional manner. Interieur is well maintained and very silent AC. Food was good at restaurant. Definitely good choice if you are planning to be a bit outside of old town (Stare Miesto)
