The front-desk staff is excellent. Easily as good as any Four Seasons or Fairmont I've stayed at. The hotel is clean and modern and very well priced for the quality in a quiet area. I'll be back.

A lovely stay at the Hotel Joan Miro Museum. Staff were friendly on arrival, the room was nicely presented with a pool view balcony. The pool area is great for relaxing. The Hotel is close to local restaurants in Cala Major and to transport links for Palma. Overall a great stay!

Wonderful staff

The room was basic but spacious and clean. I had a balcony facing the pool which was nice. The breakfast buffet was very good - lots of choices. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. Most of the staff spoke English and, if they didn't, I used my translator app to speak with them. I would stay here again.

Really happy with the hotel

Breakfast and reception was a highlight. We could enjoy a free visit to the Pilar y Joan Miró museum because of our stay in this hotel and the visit is wonderful. Appliances are good and the pool too. Location also is excellent, with a short walk to Cala Mayor, one of the best calas we've been, close to restaurants and bus stops to the city center. Would definitely stay again in this hotel.

Lovely hotel. Extremely clean. Lovely staff from reception to restaurant , Sam has to get a mention - the happiest chef I have ever met. Delicious breakfast. Immaculately clean pool area and toilets. My only criticism is the surrounding area which wasn’t very pretty but very convenient for Palms and Portopi. A few good local restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again

Great!

This is an excellent hotel for anyone visiting Palma, but particularly for those who like the art work of Joan Miro. His paintings are reflected in various ways throughout the hotel but also nearby are 1) the Miro Foundation, where you can see not only multiple artworks by Miro, but also his studios, which are fascinating; and 2) the Marivant Palace Gardens, where there are 12 Miro sculptures well situated at different points around the beautiful, peaceful gardens. The hotel has good facilities, including a large swimming pool with sun loungers, overlooked by an inddor and outdoor bar area. Our room, with a Miro painting reproduced on one wall, are relatively compact, but well furnished and comfortable. The bathroom had an excellent shower. The hotel is outside the city centre, but there are good bus services into the centre. All the staff were excellent - friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended hotel!

Beach stay outside Palma

We stayed for just 4 nights to explore the coast and beaches. The hotel was perfectly located for public transport. All staff were helpful and kind. Our bedroom was compact but nice and bathroom shower was great. We were upgraded on arrival as our allocated room - with balcony- overlooked a concrete grey wall. We’d have been disappointed to have stayed in that room and would have checked out after two nights.

My friend and I booked this hotel and resort ‘blindly’, for the reason that we were only staying for 3 nights and didn’t want a long airport transfer. Well, what a find this hotel was! Our room was lovely, all the areas in the hotel were so clean and comfortable but the stand out for us was the fabulous staff; they were extremely friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough to make our stay a great one. A special shoutout to Marco, who makes the best Mojitos and Samuel who conjured up the tastiest omelette with the happiest of smiles!

Receptionists are very friendly and helpful to arrange things.

Great stay! I would suggest a rental. It’s pretty hard to navigate the town. Taxi service is pretty unreliable. The staff was very friendly.

Hotel was perfect! Not a thing to fault, flawless👌

I am very pleased with the hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, had a variety of fruits, cheese, cold meats, eggs, bread, cakes and treats, but best of all was the happy chef at the omelette station. The hotel was clean, surprisingly quiet at night and very easy access for transport. Bus station is near by, and, the bus with route 4 takes you to the center of Palma in 15 -20 minutes. The Cala Major Beach is pleasant and near the hotel. I didn’t use the pool or the gym as had a short trip but looked very nice. I will definitely will recommend it and will try to stay there again.

Quick ride to the port.

Comfortable overnight stay in preparation for an early morning ferry. Very quick ride to the port. Look fir the second entrance to the port. It says for ferry and cruise ships.

Good, but not outstanding.

The hotel was good. It wasn’t amazing but it was okay. The pool area was brilliant very large and plenty of space for everyone. The rooms were clean and spacious however I booked a double room and was given a twin room which wasn’t brilliant. Due to covid certain features of the hotel were not in order such as the gym and the shuttle bus. It was a great location to Palma and Cala Major beach. 7/10.

Wonderful stay - recommended

Everything about this hotel was great from the service to the décor. It has a great big pool area to relax and good clean facilities. There is also a gym which I didn't use. The restaurant there is very nice, with a good selection of well made drinks. My only gripe was that the minibar and air-conditioning could have worked better, but I was never uncomfortable there. It is conveniently located near a nice beach, restaurants, local attractions and good connections to other parts of Mallorca.

Very convenient hotel for Palma and not far from beaches in small coves. The service was excellent, but we had a minor problem with the shower and had to change rooms. Highly recommended but ask for room with bath.

Very clean rooms and the hotel overall. Great views. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice calm atmosphere. Only thing I wasn’t pleased with was there wasn’t any tea/coffee making facilities and neither was it available on room service.

I am going to submit a complaint to you (Expedia) as they literally endangered mine and my partners life and seemed unbothered by this. I will be demanding recompensating for the horrendous service I have received from Expedia and requesting this hotel be removed from your website. Details to follow when I email your CEO tomorrow.

Wonderful property. If you are elderly or disabled you will need to take a cab or Uber to get there as the road is a steep walk. But it is worth the view. Room is basic but comfortable with a nice balcony. Staff is extremely helpful in English.

The location is quite good and it is very close to the beach. The staff are very kind and willing to help with everything. The building is not soundproof so you can hear people walking on the corridor and in the surrounding rooms as well.

Enjoyable stay.

Great location, the number 3 bus takes you to central Palma in 10 mins and it's a 10 minute walk to a lovely beach. A few bits were a little tired but I'd happily stay here again.

Just stayed here for one night but a long way out and not much round it that was open, when we wanted to eat. Horrible block of flats dominating the view over the pool. We were given a lovely room with a terrace bigger than the room on the 5th floor. On my next visit to Palma I would definitely pay a bit more to be central

This was our third visit to this hotel so we knew standards. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Special thanks to reception staff for sorting out glitch on my phone for on line flight booking and printing out our return boarding passes. Also thanks for getting extra bed put in room for granddaughter within 10 mins of asking.

Joan Miro Museum is quite unique. It is close to the playa de Mallorca and 12-15 minutes away from the city center of Palma. You get free tickets to the Joan Miro museum which is a few blocks down from the hotel🤗. The hotel is filled with Joan mirot art. The hotel room is also filled with Art. The only thing about the room is the ceiling has acoustic tiles and needs updating. You damn literally hear conversations from next door. The buffet is good, the make fresh omelets of your choice. Overall I had a great experience and would stay there again.

Quiet location but not too far from Palma or local beaches.

Nice clean modern hotel. Friendly and very efficient staff in all departments. Only slight negatives is it’s a bit out from Palma Centre although just €10 or so taxi trip and the unfortunate scruffy and untidy residential blocks overlooking pool area.

We booked a 5 night break at short notice and had a great time. The hotel was in a great location for us with lovely Cala Mayor beach just 10 minutes walk away and the hotel has a lovely pool that was never overcrowded if we didn't fancy a walk. Palma was a 10 minute taxi ride with great shops, bars and restaurants as you would expect. Whilst we didn't visit for museums etc, it's clear that if we had wanted a bit more culture in our break, there was more than we could have fitted in, including free admission to the Joan Miro foundation just around the corner from the hotel. We hadn't heard of Joan Miro before stumbling across this hotel but his works of art displayed around the hotel are bright and contemporary and we will definitely visit the foundation when we book again, which we will definitely do. This holiday was all about lazing in the sun for us having had a busy 2 weeks in Orlando earlier in the year and Hotel Joan Miro certainly delivered what we needed and much more. For us, the absolute stand out though has to be the staff. Every one of them was amazing and always smiling and willing to help. To see that level of engagement from all of the team, without exception, shows that the work culture is great there too. Our 10 year old daughter would normally be looking for other company of her own age but on this trip, as she was looked after so well by all the staff, she loved being the grown up girl enjoying time with her parents. We can't wait to visit again!

This hotel was filthy .the pool was filthy, bathroom filthy old tired building towels were disgusting definitely not 4s.....wld rate 3.....would not recommend.

The hotel was spotlessly clean, we liked the location a 10 min walk to the town and beach. The free tickets to museum was a bonus and the fridge in the room. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely good choices especially the cava!! Very good size pool never a problem with beds. Thank you.

On top of a very steep hill. Nothing unique about it. Only nice thing they did was offer a shuttle to the beach but only once in the morning we had to walk back.

We have just got back from our short break in Mallorca. We stayed at this hotel at a bargain price, so I wasn't expecting much, but their receptionists were all excellent. We were upgraded to a room with a view at no extra cost. The room we were given was smelling of new paint, and the bathtub looked like newly installed, so she gave us another room. Unfortunately, this room's toilet didn't stop flushing, and we had to move again on the second night, but it was dealt with professionally. The third room was ok, but once again the bathroom needed some updating. (The bath tub's tap area particularly needs re-tiling?). Also, the wall must be thin, and our next door was playing loud music till mid-night meant that my daughter could not sleep well. We spent our last day afternoon hanging around by the swimming pool having a nap as a result. Perhaps this hotel needs proper updating, but overall I am pleased with what I paid for and thank you very much for the great group of receptionists to make our stay special. The breakfast was also great, and I highly recommend it. You will get some discount when you book as you check in. (10 euro per person instead of 12 euro) and they have a lovely bottle of bubbly for you to make tasty Mimosa to kick off your holiday!

Lovely, friendly, cheerful staff. Receptionist Rosa was particularly helpful. Room and shower were good and had s balcony. Great breakfast with fresh omelettes prepared to order. Pool bigger than expected and neat little gym poolside. Free tickets to Miro museum were a bonus and it’s well worth a visit. Bus into Palma from the end of the road €1.50. Plenty of local places to eat in Callor Mayor but we preferred Palma. €8 to visit Cathedral which is stunning. I’d stay here again!

A beautiful and modern hotel in a quiet setting, just a stone's through from the stunning cala major. There are lots of lovely restaurants and bars nearby. The walk into Palma took us about an hour along the port, or you can take the bus for €1.50. The hotel breakfast was delicious and varied, there was even cava on offer which we made the most of! The staff are all friendly and happy to help. Overall we had a really lovely stay.

Hotel in a quiet location

The Hotel is located about 1.5 miles away from the center if you prefer a quiet stay away from the lively bars. However, local bus services run regularly into town taking around 10 - 15 mins. Its a decent hotel with all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay except a spa which I wasn't to fussed about. I recommend this Hotel.

Lovely hotel with really friendly and helpful staff. Location great for the beach and easy access to Palma. Decor includes paintings by Joan Miro which is really cool and funky. Bedrooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. They are designed so that they can be twin or double. Would definitely come back here.

A calamity of errors

We really like this hotel and would return, however, we booked for the wrong date, a Thursday, for two nights, only to realize we would arrive on Friday. When we did arrive on Friday night late by plane the hotel was full so no room. The agent did everything to find us another room in the area with no luck. So we sat up all night in the lobby. At about 7 am we begged the manager to get a checked out room cleaned so we could lie down for a few hours and she obliged. Lost two nights of accommodation. Would love one night refund back.

Misleading website

Very disappointed in tiny room with dreadful views at back of a car park. very thin walls difficult to sleep with noise on either side. Paid to Upgrade to superior room on top floor which was great room with fabulous terrace.

The hotel is not quite a 4 star, more of a 3.5 star. Food choice a bit limited in the evening/dinner

i booked for 3 rooms . we are all not satisfied of beds. my sister has a child with us they have given us all room with 2 single bed. its unvomfortable with a child inthe midfle one thing more was 2 days later came my husband unfortunately i nooked wrong dates. they habe vhsrge my husband overprice. i payed for my husnand room 381 chf. or 305 euro. for 2 nights gor 1 person. I saw in internet bey booking.com its onla 156 chf. if i booked it there. i will never recommend this hotel although the personal are kind. its too much they have not right to charge too expensive. they have mot all to offer. you can habe midnight snack bec. rest is closed at 23:00. they dont provide watercooker , coffe or tee in the room. and its far away to the beach.

Average hotel. In a quiet neighborhood. Very friendly and accommodating staff. It's within walking distance to the beach. Easy bus ride to city center. Hotel has average buffet breakfast and dinner. We had a fabulous dinner from their regular menu. (lamb chops/ grilled pork). Angel and Julio were excellent servers who when above and beyond to assist us.

Holiday

Hotel and staff were excellent. Disappointed with location as thought it was closer to the city centre and the beach. Taxi needed. Having said that, I'd stay there again.

Good location, no sound proofing

The location is good, near the beach Cala Major. The hotel and the rooms look like recently renovated and in good condition. They could be cleaner especially the shower, but overall was clean and tidy. Most rooms have 2 single beds and not a double bed. The main issue with the hotel is the complete lack of sound proofing. You can hear the snoring, shouts and bowel movements of the rooms around you. Would not recommend if you are going for a quiet holiday or if you are a light sleeper. Parking is also a problem in the area. The hotel has parking facilities and charges for it, but we were advised from the staff that the Parking is small and is better to park outside if you find a spot.

Nice hotel within easy reach of Palma Centre

Great hotel, lovely breakfast with lots of choice, lovely beach within 5-10 min walk, rooms cleaned daily, free shuttle bus to Palma Centre and the staff were all amazing and helpful! The only small criticism would be not much entertainment for kids (we have a 3 year old) however we knew this beforehand and our little girl is pretty good at entertaining herself. There is a free shuttle bus to both Palma centre and the beach which is a lovely touch, if you are visiting Majorca then Palma City Centre is a must we probably visited 4 or 5 times in the space of a week's holiday. Also the Western Water Park in Magaluf is about 20 mins away in a taxi (approx. 20 Euros) and that has a great range of slides and pools, particularly good if you have older children.

Very helpful and friendly hotel

Very clean hotel with exceptionally friendly staff, handy for the airport and local bars and restaurants. Choice of food excellent and of very good quality. Fairly near the beach but a bit of a climb on the way back, 5 euros for a taxi solved that issue for us. Lovely pool with plenty of sun loungers and parasols. Family room with balcony was adequate but rather small for 2 adults and a child. The air conditioning worked more effectively near the entrance to the room rather that the sleeping area. Anything extra required for the room was available from the reception ie kettle, plug adapters etc. Would certainly return and recommend this lovely hotel.
