Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Ibrahim Pasha. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and offered recommendations on where to go and what to see in Istanbul. The standard room was small but a cozy kind of small (similar to other hotels you would find in Europe). The breakfast was great and Turkish-style with lots of different choices. Also very close (a few mins walk) to the historic Sultanahmet area of the city near the Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. The rooftop terrace was also incredible with great views of the Blue Mosque next door. Would highly recommend for anyone staying in Istanbul!
Perfect boutique hotel with amazing staff
Hotel was within walking distance to all the top attractions, making it convenient for my elderly parents. The rooftop was the perfect place to relax with the amazing view of the Blue Mosque and coast!
Hotel staff was excellent, from checkin, breakfast service, restaurant recommendations, getting taxi, etc. The breakfast was great, only recommendation is to alternate the menu a bit, get tired of eating the same breakfast for 5 straight days.
Great location and wonderful staff!!
Wonderful stay at Pasha Ibrahim. The best aspects: central location but also quiet! Loved seeing the Blue Mosque and Sea of Marmara from the roof terrace. Best part, though, was the staff. Every staff member was kind and very helpful. A very small and personal hotel, to which I would return.
This was an incredible, centrally located stay in Sultanahmet, Istanbul. It is - 10 min walk to many historical sites and shopping districts making daily planning a breeze. The staff is very helpful too! Highly recommend this stay.
Great location. Staff where fantastic at the hotel.
Fabulous staff. Walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, et al.
Beautiful decor
Fabulous hotel with very accommodating staff and comfortable environment. I would love to stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
Very welcoming knowledgeable staff, great location with the big sights of historic Istanbul just a few minutes away. Great for beating rhe crowds to the Hagia Sophia, Topkapi etc. Area feels very safe for tourists, lots of nearby restaurants, would recommend this small tasteful hotel if you're a lone traveller.
Had a wonderful stay during my first trip to Istanbul! Staff were wonderful and extremely helpful with answering questions and providing me with information on what to do during my visit! Highly recommend!
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast! Good cappuccino 👍👍
Quaint boutique hotel with friendly, helpful staff so close to sights and tram. Close to Blue Mosque and plaza.
hotel was nice, however the bathroom was a shoe box and hard to use with 2 people. breakfast was very basic and could have done with a few more options.
Perfect position and such friendly staff
This lovely boutique hotel is the place to stay especially if you're independent travellers without children. It's perfectly positioned for the main sights and has the most helpful and friendly staff who can't do enough for you. The rooms range in size. We had one on the third floor which had a lovely balcony. Highly recommended.
Stayed seven years ago and still has a great vibe. Particularly love the rooftop deck and bar and the breakfasts!
We had a horrible and uncomforable stay. The room was old unclean and dusty. The price we paid for our stay was so inflated. We ended up cancelling our return stay and stayed somewhere else for the same rate and the hotel was clean, modern and super comfortable. Not sure how this place got good reviews previously, definitely do not recommend.
The staff was really friendly and helpful! Great value for the money. The breakfast is outstanding also. A really nice, smaller hotel with a personal touch!
Hotel is nice but AC didn’t work well and I got major allergies in the room possibly from all the rugs. It’s walkable to all tourist places so that was a great plus.
The staff is so friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved staying here. Convenient walk to historic sites, tram and shopping. Great rooftop view. Strongly will recommend to friends and family.
Great staffs!! Genuinely nice and helpful.
Wonderful staff. Excellent location. Cozy environment.
The hotel feels like a friend has invited you into their home. Delicious breakfast, comfortable beds and I loved the interior design. Staff are very happy to give suggestions and júst outside the door is ancient history to be explored.
Great stay!
Cute boutique hotel. Excellent staff with loads of time to give you recommendations of what to do and see in the area. Walkable location close to all the sights.
Great hotel just steps from old town
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Ibrahim Pasha. it is about 100 steps away from the main touristy strip with Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and other sites but still on a quiet street tucked away. The service was excellent, with fresh coffee available at all hours and a front desk eager to provide recommendations or order you a taxi. It's also a very beautiful property and the public places are very relaxing and inviting.
The staff was extremely.caring and helpful. The room and breakfast just perfect. Can’t wait to return to Istanbul and of course stay in the lovely Ibrahim Pasha Hotel.
Excellent location and the people are very nice and helpful!!
The Ibrahim Pasha is a wonderful little hotel. The room decor is “Ottoman Chic” and really interesting. The staff are wonderfully friendly accommodating, and they prepare a tasty Turkish breakfast for the guests each morning. The hotel is on a quiet side street, yet is still right in the center of Sultanahmet, literally steps away from the city’s major tourist attractions. So you get the best of both worlds: quiet and convenience. Not far from Istanbul’s excellent public transportation, too, which really does not get enough credit. But best of all is the sublime rooftop bar; sunset and incredible views of the Blue Mosque and the Bosporus, all while sipping a cocktail. A perfect end to the day at a fantastic property.
I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely recommend it.
Great location central to the heart of Istanbul. Staff is friendly and helpful.
This is a converted townhouse just off the quiet end of the Hippodrome, so the entire Sultanahmet area is immediately walkable. The hotel common areas are very attractively furnished with useful sitting areas for coffee etc. As a townhouse the rooms are not huge, but are cosy and laid out around a pleasant four storey tiled staircase (there’s a lift). Also a lovely roof terrace with views directly over to the Blue Mosque. But the absolute standout is the friendly and helpful staff, both front desk and elsewhere. This creates an extremely relaxed, informal and attractive environment. The deluxe rooms are either larger or have a pretty balcony, as well as a handy walk-in dressing room and larger practical shower room. Highly recommended. No negatives.
A true sanctuary in the chaotic city of Istanbul. The hotel is beautifully decorated and offers comfort and convenience. All of the major sites in Sultanahmet are a 5 minute walk, as is the tram. The deluxe room that I stayed in was large and designed with true artistry. There is a wonderful library of books which serves as a lounge as well as a roof terrace that offers sweeping views of the Mosques and the sea. Coffee, tea and drinks are available throughout the day.Yes, my mattress could have been firmer, and there was a power generator next to the entrance which was annoying to me as a light sleeper. Also be aware of the morning call to prayer from the local mosque which happens in the wee hours. Just bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. The positives far outweighed the negatives.
An excellent property. Great staff, ever do helpful. Great location. Easy access to restaurants. Very quiet.
A hidden gem! Fantastic staff.
Ibrahim Pasha is an excellent choice. Room was great, staff are outstanding, and the location could not be more central to multiple points of interest is Sultanhamet.
Hotel Ibrahim Pasha, Istanbul
Fantastic location for all the major tourist sites in Sultanhamet area, literally steps from the Hippodrome. Breakfast area a little small but good quality food with the added bonus of free tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon. The roof terrace overlooking the Blue Mosque is beautiful in the evening for a drink. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly and a great source of local knowledge. Recommnded
Amazing location with view of the Blue Mosque from the hotel roof bar! Every staff member knowledgeable and friendly. Great stay.
Fun little gem steps from the sites.
What an adorable little gem. The Hotel is definitely off the beaten path, note it was hard for our taxi to find, but once we did, it was an awesome location. Quiet, clean, and quirky. Great breakfast, amazingly accommodating staff, and safe Place. Super close to all of the sites, and even has a cute, rooftop patio, overlooking the blue mask. Definitely recommend, will go back and stay again.
It xlose to evwrything, train station is close, right at the center.
Lovely welcoming hotel near Blue Mosque
This was a great place to stay during my few days in Istanbul. So close to main attractions like the Blue Mosque (with a nice rooftop view), small-scale in a nice way and lovely staff who were so welcoming and keen to help with whatever was needed. Breakfast was a nice and to they have wood fire places to rest by on the main floor of the hotel.
The service was wonderful, and the property and location was great. Very friendly workers, thank you very much!
Location, location, location and staff!!
Unfortunately only stayed at this place for less than 24 hours. Location can not be better. A couple of minutes from the blue mosque! Breakfast is sooo good. Staff is amazing and extra helpful. Until next time!
it is a beautiful building, very characteristic, has a lovely lobby where you can quietly sit, read and enjoy, walking distance to all Istanbul attraction, staff very friendly, thoroughly enjoyed out stay, many thanks
I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. I had a wonderful five nights here, where I was made to feel at home. The rooms are what could be called Ottoman minimalist in design and very comfortable. There is a lovely rooftop terrace, with great views of the Blue Mosque and Aya Sofya, both of which are only a short walk away. Downstairs there are two lounge rooms with fires, which were greatly appreciated during my chilly mid-January stay. The hotel is also only a short walk away from the Sultanahmet tram stop, which makes it very easy to reach other areas in the city, especially Eminönu/Galata Bridge (for the Spice Bazaar and ferries) and Karaköy (excellent for food and nightlife). Finally, the staff are exceptional. All of them were incredibly friendly and accommodating to requests. They gave me lots of suggestions on things to do and places to go, helped me plan itineraries and booked restaurants, hammams etc. for me.
The service in this property was amazing! Very good location too!
Wonderful Stay
My wife and I stayed here for the start of our honeymoon. It was wonderful. From the moment we arrived through the 3 nights there to the moment we left, the service and place was excellent. Location is wonderful and easily walkable to major sites, however was still nice and quiet. The room was great and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic - really, it was great. I’d absolutely stay here again.
Must stay hotel for istanbul old city
Elegant and minimal boutique family owned hotel with tons of character and a great library - a perfect location in the old city minutes from the blue mosque, and with the most helpful staff with tips on excellent restaurants, sites, hammams and shops. Great wifi . No restaurant but no need with those within minutes walking . Recommend highly .
The location is central to all the sights and the staff were simply fantastic and so helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
Great location, excellent staff
Very good location a few steps away from the Blue Mosque and the Sultanahmet tram. Extremely friendly and resourceful staff. The hotel lobby is very nicely appointed; and gives very pleasant feeling. The room was super cramped (and was much smaller than on the photo), but it was comfortable and clean. Shower had a good water pressure, but it took ages until the hot water came on. One important element is that the hotel offers numerous free amenities - coffee, tea, water, daily fruit basket; and has a splendid roof terrace. I will surely come back again.
Great location, lovely comfortable hotel, quiet relaxed atmosphere. The staff are what makes it special.
Stayed two nights in November. The staff are exceedingly helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. The property has a nice cozy lounge area and breakfast is excellent. Very easy walk to Grand Bazaar, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and shopping areas. Will definitely stay there again.
Overall, very friendly, family owned hotel - nice room and clean, good breakfast option in the morning and walkable to main attractions like Hagia Sophia and Blue Mosque. Cute boutique hotel.
We love this charming boutique hotel!
We stayed in Istanbul for two nights. I had booked this hotel because of the high ratings as well as the location to all of the major sites. We were beyond pleased. We were treated with such courtesy and kindness it almost felt like we were leaving our new friends behind. Their communication was also incredible. No matter where we were in the city they were able to help us through WhatsApp. The hotel itself was so charming and the breakfast delicious. The sites were from 5 - 15 min walk, although we walked everywhere in the short time we had on both sides of the river. If we get back to Istanbul (hopefully) there isn’t any other place we would stay.
Great location, excellent service, very cute, but be prepared that the rooms are small.
We just spent four nights at the Hotel Ibrahim Pasha and enjoyed every minute. We cannot praise the staff highly enough. The young men working the front desk were a joy—well-informed, friendly, fun, and always ready to go out of their way to make things perfect. The room was comfortable, spacious, and very clean. Breakfast was varied and healthy. The location can’t be bettered—just steps from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Hippodrome, and Topkopi Palace. At night it is so quiet that you could be deep in the country. But the best part of all is the staff, with their spirit of warmth, friendliness, and fun. It was the perfect introduction to Istanbul for us.
What an amazing experience! Great location, walking distance to any major viewing destination from the hotel. The staff was very knowledgeable, attentive and helpful! Atm’s, dinner recommendations & taxis… social chatting, they were all great… and the terrace!!!!
Great little hotel
We stayed at the hotel for only 2 nights but enjoyed it very much. The staff are all really great, very helpful with any question. The roof top bar has a fabulous view of the Blue Mosque and Bosphorous. with a wonderful sun set vista. The decor throughout the hotel is great, the service very friendly and fast. With some great touches eg a map that has restaurants recommended by the hotel shown and interesting walking routes. Nice ideas.
The hotel was very close to the main sites, had a great Turkish breakfast, a wonderful roof bar area and was small enough that we received individual attention on check in and throughout our stay. Note that the rooms are not very big.
Cosy base next to the Blue Mosque.
Fantastically located with a team of very friendly and helpful staff. Id stay here again happily. The rooms are smaller than they appear in the website and are a little tired in places however the beds are very comfortable and housekeeping is very tidy. Lovely decor in the public areas and the rooftop is spectacular - the best spot for views of the Blue Mosque and beyond. Lovely breakfast every morning till 11am - which is greatvif you fancy a sleep in. Id happily stay again.
The staff were fantastic! They were helpful and kind. The hotel is very close to all the sites. It is a boutique hotel.
Really friendly and welcoming staff. Made everything really easy and were on hand to help 24 hours. Nice turkish breakfast included which was a bonus. The hotel is in a great location within walking distance of the main attractions. Also easy accessible to the tram to get to other parts of the city. Rooms small but very clean and comfortable and all you need when you are out exploring all day. Would definitley recommend. Rooftop bar has a great view but it can be a bit windy.
I believe they have been in business for 3 decades and have a stable crew of staff so they know how to run a great hotel. Staff were fluent in english with detailed explanation of area for 1st timers in istanbul which was a nice bonus. Good turkish breakfast and tea/coffe time with cakes at 4pm were enjoyable. Amazing rooftop balcony with view of blue mosque and bosphorous. We didnt use the rooftop bar but its available 5pm to midnight. Good sized library with interesting reads. Room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Certainly glad to stayed here. Location was right beside main sites in sultanahmet so getting there by taxi through the small roads required getting through some congestion, but certainly glad we stayed here.
Great location and very attentive staff
The room we stayed in was very very small in the attic
Excellent central location.Short walk to major attractions.Small boutique Hotel, family run, all very helpful and friendly.
Hotel is located centrally. Staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. Very complete and tasty breakfast and a lovely rooftop location serving snacks and drinks.
This was our second stay here and the staff was just as friendly and helpful as previously. The small rooftop bar has a wonderful view and is a great place to have a beer before going to dinner. Very walkable to all of the sites of the old city.
By far this is the best hotel you will book for your stay in Istanbul. The staff is great, they literally make you feel like home. Really recommend it for your trip. Rooms are also extremely clean and well kept.
The staff at this property was above exceptional. The location was amazing, literally 10 minutes from all major attractions. The roof top bar had great views and was charming.
The best view in Istanbul
The check in process was very fast. The host gave us plenty of good suggestions for navigating the city. The lobby and stair way up to my room was absolutely beautiful. There is a lot of attention to detail here. The root top lounge and bar is an amazing addition. The views from the roof are breath taking. We can not wait to visit again.
Lovely long weekend
Charming hotel, in very good location. walking distance to all the main attractions in Istanbul..the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Grand Bazaar etc. hotel is small but clean, characterful, with lovely roof terrace (with bar), and most of all really helpful and lovely staff. Thank you for a lovely stay.
Fantastic staff and very convenient for the main tourist sites
The staff are just the kindest , the location is really good, the rooms are really clean and comfortable .But if I am to comment on one thing it would be the breakfast , it’s not the best and it could be better .
Hotel Ibrahim Pashim comes highly recommended. We were warmly welcomed and provided with all the information we would need to make our stay in Istanbul the best possible experience. From the cleaning service to the breakfast and the kindness of all the staff we felt safe, comfortable and secure. The breakfast was delicious consisting of fresh fruits, yogurts, pastries, eggs and meats and the location was top tier with easy access to tourist attractions and a stunning view of the blue mosque from the balcony terrace. Special shout-out to ALL the staff. You guys were so amazing and helpful. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.
The staff couldn’t do enough for us. Great position in the old part of the city. Nice historic hotel
Super hotel!
The staff is incredibly helpful!
So close to everything... Also, the staff at the hotel are just awesome and ready to serve at all times..
Very cute hotel would happily stay again and great friendly helpful staff
.
Fabulous hospitality
This hotel is an absolute delight. My son and I were visiting Istanbul and booked two standard rooms at the hotel, both of which were beautifully appointed. Extremely comfortable beds and lovely linen, fresh fluffy white towels changed every day. Complimentary fruit and water left in the room and a fridge with other items to buy. The communal areas of this hotel are really cosy and there is always a welcome from reception staff at whatever time of day you return with coffee/Turkish tea and in the afternoon cakes, fruit, nuts and flavoured water. So many varied books to read in front of a warm fire if you are feeling foot sore and just need a rest. There is also a lovely rooftop terrace, which we only used a couple of days as the weather was cold but in the warmer months this would be fabulous. With a phone to call reception for drinks if required. Breakfast is served from 07:00-11:00 and it is delicious, everything you need to set you up for a day sightseeing, plentiful hot and cold buffet style options and overseen by the most lovely elderly Turkish gentleman. Although I was told on checkout that he is due to retire, therefore my only sadness will be that if I return he will not be there, although I am sure with the standard of the rest of the staff the fabulous hospitality will carry on. To sum up, if I were staying in Istanbul again I would return in a heart beat. The location cannot be beaten and the staff are just the most hospitable people I have met on my travels
Excellent location with Superb service
Excellent location. Comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Superb service from personnel- very friendly and available at all times to make your stay the best! Highly recommend this hotel!
The staff treated us like a king and a queen. It was like concierge service at a 5-star hotel.
Loved this hotel and all of the people working there. Very cute boutique hotel, with a great breakfast every morning. Exceptionally clean with a very charming design, comfortable bed, and nice bathroom. Also, the Internet was very fast and dependable The location is fantastic, just a few minutes walk to many attractions and endless restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will be booking again when I return to the amazing city of Istanbul.
Excellent service & location
The service
The two main things that this hotel has going for it is Location and Staff. We came with no Itinerary as there was so much to see and do and planned to ask their advice. The service we received along with the recommendations and History lesson was more than we could have asked for. It was always nice to come back from a long day of exploring to their warm welcome and some Turkish tea and coffee. The Hotel is surrounded by all the key historical sites, but in a quiet location. Restaurants, public transport and shops are just a few steps away.
Great little cosy hôtel Friendly staff Nice rooms Good breakfast Will be back
The staff is professional, breakfast buffet represents typical Turkish morning repasts, the lobby and reading room pleasant and the warm fireplaces (2) very comfortable. I enjoyed staying here.
Friendly, attentive staff throughout the hotel. Stylishly decorated, yet relaxed and comfortable. Breakfast served from early until late morning to suit varying needs of guests. Complimentary teas and coffees provided by staff throughout the day and cakes, dried and fresh fruit available complimentary. Perfectly located to access all main attractions on foot, while still being tucked away on a quiet street. Roof terrace view was stunning.
Great Location, Excellent Service
We booked this hotel for the location and fell in love with it for the comfort and service. The room was very comfortable, we loved the separate sitting area. Breakfast was really good. We really enjoyed coming back to the hotel and having a coffee or tea in the lobby. Everyone who worked at the hotel was amazingly nice and friendly.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location within walking distance of most attractions.
From the moment we checked in we felt very welcomed they take pride in making all guests feel comfortable, coffee and tea 24/7 and the breakfast was amazing every morning definitely recommend staying here and is walking distance from everything Thank you we will be back :)
Friendly stuff ,good breakfast and evening snacks for guest
I went to this hotel as a recommendation from a friend and let me tell you that our stay -a family of 4- was excellent during our time in Istanbul. Very well located from main historic monuments, close to the grand bazaar and shopping and restaurants. Friendly staff and incredible rooftop views! highly recommended
Christmas 'n' New Year 2022/2023
We had a great stay at Hotel Ibrahim Pasha, during our Christmas and New Year vacation, 2022. The hotel is located in an ideal location in the historic Sultanahmet district of Istanbul. All of the staff members of the hotel were gracious and extremely helpful. The breakfast was good, and the kitchen personnel were very attentive. The hotel staff at the reception desk speak English well, and gave valuable assistance to us for navigating our way around Istanbul. Our room was promptly cleaned every morning, and resupplied with fresh towels and toiletries. We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Ibrahim Pasha, and we had a memorable vacation in Istanbul.
Very well located, nice staff and the room was spacious and very comfortable, beautifull rooftop with incredible views, hrand bazaar and main touristic attractions at walking distance
Staff was very friendly and fluent in English. The hotels location is perfect for aight seeing, being a short walk to blue mosque, aya sofya mosque, the cistern, and the grand bazaar. There are many rooftop restaurants in walking distance, as well as a liqour store and market. They offer a shuttle van service at a very good price to and from IST airport in high end caravans. The breakfast spread was very impressive. The rooms were clean, tastefully updated, and the beds were amazing. Book this hotel!
Nice looking hotel, clean and in a good location, what makes the hotel stand out is the excellent staff who are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.
This is a cute boutique hotel with a nice buffet breakfast and great customer service. Within walking distance to several tourist sites and close to metro. Room was tiny but we didn’t expect it to be large.
Turkish Delight!
Loved the location, the courteous staff, the really cute room, the rooftop view of the Blue Mosque, the breakfast. Everything! A real Turkish delight!!😁
