The staff were so welcoming and we had a good rest

Japanese Style room was grear

I booked a Japanese room as it was cheaper than a regular one and it was huge. They made the bed for me which was nice. It was also very comfy. The room had a machine with cold or hot water on tap. The shower room was pretty great.

Really pleasant stay in a beautiful Japanese traditional room. Staff are very nice and helpful, garden is pretty, location is about 5-10 min walk from main train station. Lots of dining option and a supermarket within 5 min walking. Cannot ask for more.

Very nice hotel Close to the train station

Older style but clean and nice.

Hotel was nice overall… we stayed in a tatami room which was fun. The room was a little old and felt like it could use an update. But it was very clean and the staff was good. We only stayed one night and didn’t interact with any staff after check in. Value felt fair.

Walkable to station, not sure how to adjust air conditioning (if adjustable)

We booked this last minute as we were stuck in Hiroshima for another night due to the typhoon. It was a Japanese style room in a quiet area not far from the main JR station which we needed to walk to early morning. Expensive room for the state and age of the hotel but duvets were comfortable and we slept well.

OK hotel

OK hotel to stay for a short trip to Hiroshima. A bit far from the museum but close to the station. Staff was friendly but spoke little English. The room was OK, typical Japanese small room. Everything qa a bit old but usuable and clean. Its ok

nice and quite

We really liked the close proximity to the Hiroshima train station, it was only a 5 min walk. Staff were really friendly and spoke basic English which was helpful. We were really impressed with how the large the room was and bathroom was, considering we had experienced much smaller in Japan. There is little to no restaurants in the immediate area but if you walk only about 10 min down the road, you will start entering the main precinct of Hiroshima and discover lots of different places to eat. We walked about 4 km to the Hiroshima memorial peace park and enjoyed looking at the shops along the way. Overall We had a really pleasant stay and this was also the most affordable place In the area. The only downfall was that their in house restaurant does not offer a English menu which would be fine if there were still pictures however their menu didn’t include this either. I think the hotel would really benefit if they introduced this.

Great Hotel close to train station.

Everything was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to go to Hiroshima.

Nice hotel at convenient location

The hotel is about 5 minutes walk from the main train station. The location is convenient. Although the hotel is old, I have nothing to complain about considering the price. Bathroom is typical japanese bathroom size as seen from other review, the size is ok for typical Asian.

Nice Japanese hotel centrally located

the Hotel is a couple of blocks from the Hiroshima main station. as offered, the hotel is a Japanese traditional hotel and the rooms are nice, compact and clean. with most modern facilities as to bathing and sleeping (Japanese style). given how expensive everything is in Japan, the hotel is moderately priced and gives full value for the money we paid.

10 minute walk from station

My partner and I were only in Hiroshima for a night, so we opted for an affordable hotel nearby the station. It did the job for the short period we were here. The hotel itself seems pretty dated, but the staff are very friendly. We were provided free coffee upon arriving, which was nice. They call a cab for you if you need it since there are none you can call on your own nearby. (I imagine you would have to go by the station to get one).

Once you know the location of the hotel, it is an easy walking distance to the train station from the hotel. When we were first arrived to Hiroshima we decided to take a taxi as we did not know the location. The taxi driver wasn't very happy for the short fare. The room was clean and comfortable.

Cannot control room thermostat; poor service

Do not stay here. Room was 74F at midnight and the hotel controls the thermostat to your room and they are too cheap and greedy to turn it down. They say they do not understand your English as an excuse for not fixing the problem- they knew I was visibly upset and would not either fix the problem or give me a discount- $130 USD for (thankfully) one night is not cheap. I finally got a fan after yelling at them repeatedly. The condition of the hotel shows they are cheap - the furniture is old and the hallways are dingy (think 1980s Days Inn but twice the price). Customer service is EXTREMELY POOR for the price.

Facility upgrade would be the additional points for this hotel

Great hotel, convenient location

Great location. Easy to get around, only 5 minutes walk to station. Hotel offers bike rental for Yen 800 for a whole day. Electric powered so easy to use and useful for sightseeing around town. Reception staff extremely helpful despite limited English. Would recommend this hotel if you need access to Hiroshima station - to go to Onomichi (Shimanami Kaido) or Miyajima on day trips.

I actually enjoyed my stay here. I stayed in a single room which was comfortable for one person, it was really clean too. I loved the Shiseido products in the bathroom, robe, teabags, kettle, hairdryer. When I put a DND sign on my door, they left me a fresh change of towels, robe, toothbrush, etc hanging on my door. Staff were nice and friendly. Walking distance to the Hiroshima station. Wi-Fi was great. Overall very satisfied with my stay.

Great hotel near Hiroshima station

The staff was great helped with info on Airport transportation and even had a printed map with all the sourrounding restaurants and shops by type, room was sapacious and facilities new, in the room body soap, shampoo and conditioner along with an adicional foam face soap were all SHISHEIDO great quality.

Bed harder than the floor, no help from pillows.

Hard bed, non-effective pillows, room too hot with window closed and too much air pressure difference with it open so the room door whistled loudly. Staff nice, but not useful in any way.

Enjoyed the stay.

The hotel is 15 minutes walk to JR station and street tram station. It's in quiet street. Room is small but clean and tidy. Air condition is very weak and we open window for air ventilation. The hotel provides luggage storage service and staffs are very nice and courtesy.

Very friendly and help staff. Room is good size. Some of the room facilities are a bit old, such as TV. But all in working condition.

Larger room

Larger room than other hotels we stayed at. Bed wasn't quite comfortable. Overall the hotel had an outdated look and feeling. But the room was clean and close to the station. Great for early morning trip to Miyajima.

Thanks for helping me receiving mail and finding medication - Walking distance to JR station, but can be tiring if you are having a very huge luggage - Quiet and clean neighborhood. Clean Hotel, not too far from the station

The staff made a good effort to communicate with us, although they were not English speakers. The room was small, but exactly what we paid for. It was very clean and there were good facilities. They also provided tourist information in the bedroom which was very useful.

THIS TRIP WAS MY FIRST TO JAPAN/HIROSHIMA ( CAME FOR THE 70TH ANNIVERSARY OF A-BOMB),THE TRIP WAS FAR BETTER THAN I ANTICIPATED FROM THE FLIGHT, THE COACH JOURNEY IN FROM THE AIRPORT, THE PERSONAL GREETING AT RECEPTION UPON MY ARRIVAL, THE HOTEL/ROOM,THE VERY SMART HOTEL STAFF,GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY THROUGHOUT MY ENTIRE STAY, THE EASE OF TRAVELLING AROUND IE. THE PEACE PARK, THE BEACH ETC BUT ABOVE ALL JUST HOW CLEAN THE STREETS,BUSES, TRAMS, TRAINS TAXIS ETC ETC ( LONDON COULD TAKE A GOOD LESSON FROM HIROSHIMA ON HOW TO KEEP A CITY CLEAN ),EVERYONE BEING SO POLITE AND HELPFUL WHEN I APPEARED TO BE A LOST WESTERNER -- ON A VERY PERSONAL NOTE JUST HOW SO VERY,VERY PRETTY ALL OF THE LADIES, ACROSS THE AGES,WERE, PLUS SO SMART, VERY NICE.ONE SMALL MINUS - AN AREA OUTSIDE IN HOTEL GROUNDS TO SIT AND RELAX,.

Great hotel close to station

We used this as our base for 3-day visit to Hiroshima and surrounding area. It was only a short walk from the station and and even less to a very good supermarket. The room was very comfortable and quite spacious. Overall, excellent value for money. We would definitely stay there again.

Undersized room at the Hiroshima Garden Palace

The Garden Palace had an attractive lobby, however, the rooms were too small for 2 fairly modest persons. The room was so small that one could barely make one's way between the twin beds. We both stubbed our toes several times on the bed legs. In fact, we took photos for family and friends and would be pleased to share them with you. We looked at other rooms on other floors and with the exception of the two end rooms - they were all undersized. The second problem was trying to maintain a cool comfortable in the room. We managed by closing down the heat/cool system and then manipulating the window.

Friendly staff

Only issue was that checkout time is by 10am, which feels early for a hotel of this kind. Otherwise a very pleasant stay.

Nice, clean hotel, friendly staff. Close to shinkansen-station, but on the wrong side, so a bit from city center and all sightseeing.

Good location; decent hotel

Walking distance from the Hiroshima train station. The rooms are japanese-style but this is not a Ryokan. Good place to stay if you are visiting the war memorial and Miyajima. Staff is super-helpful but not everyone speaks English. Take the tram to the war memorial - you'll get a good sense of the quaint town that Hiroshima is. Take JR to the Miyajima ferry if you want to get there faster.

Good location

Short walk from station. Hotel was fine. Economy room was small as expected but well appointed. Be prepared for a hard bed, but hey, no real biggie. A supermarket is nearby as are a heap of restaurants around the block. The front desk will provide you with a map of restaurants etc. We tried the closest Okonomayaki restaurant closest to the hotel. Yum and a lot of fun as well.

Really nice clean hotel. Really close to the station so was great for just a one night stay. Only problem was time of check out,10am was a bit early!

good location for train station access

Hotel is 5min walk from north exit of train station. Train station has all kinds of stores & restaurants. Exploring surounding Hiroshima is easy. Inner city exploration more difficult as the tram is very slow to get to the center. Hotel staff speaks English, has information material and is very helpful. Room was big, clean with everything needed. It lacked some more plugs to charge my electronic gear but this seems to be the case for most hotels here. I would stay there again.

Average Hotel

This hotel is an average hotel in Japan. Breakfast came with the stay, but it was a set menu with an option of (Japanese or Western style) and was not that good. Buffet style breakfast offered by other near-by hotels excelled in quality and variety. The room was o.k., and the bed was comfortable enough.

Close to Hiroshima Station

Hotel is very close to Hiroshima Station, therefore pretty convenient.

Very easy to get to from the Shin station, but there wasn't much else around. Overall a great deal though.

Perfect balance

The hotel was a bit of a walk from the station, but nothing too far. Even though we arrived late, the front desk was courteous and prompt with our check in. When we got into the hotel room, there was two paper cranes waiting on the table for us; very appropriate for a hotel in Hiroshima. The room was clean, and big enough to fit all our things in and still be able to walk throughout the room. The hotel was quiet enough, but the door was thin and we could hear what was going on out in the hall. Still, we had a good sleep. Unfortunately, there was no wi-fi, and internet was charged per hour in the lobby.

Close to station but far from busses

This was a nice hotel that we booked last minute. It was inexpensive compared to the other hotels but was just as nice as any hotel we stayed in. The bathroom is small, but the room has everything you would need. Bring an adapter if your chargers have the 3 prongs because these rooms only have the two prong plug ins.

先に一部屋とり、宿泊前日に追加で部屋をとったにも関わらず、チェックインしたときに、部屋を変更して近くにしてもらい助かりました。

スタッフさんの対応が良く、快適に過ごせました。 確かにウォーターサーバーの音が夜気になりましたので、チェクインの時フロントで聞いた通りに電源オフにしました。

残念ながらが現在ホテル内レストランが営業されてませんがホテル周辺に沢山飲食店があるので大丈夫。

建物は古いが、綺麗でした。

広島での宿泊時はガ−デンパレスを選択するのですが……………予約が取りにくいのが難点です。次回も楽しみに挑戦してみましょう。

広島駅の近くに有り交通の便やショッピングにも良く、大通りから一本中に入るため騒音も無く立地としては最高です。 少し古さを感じる所も有るが、良く手入れが行き届いており問題はありません。 あと嬉しい点としては、各部屋にウォーターサーバーが設置してある所です。 接客も丁寧で気持ち良く泊まれました。 ただ、レストランが併設して無く朝食が弁当だったのが少し残念でした。 全体としては、コストパフォーマンスが非常高いホテルだったなと感じ、次回以降も必ず利用したいと思いました。

隅々まで掃除が行き届いていました。

バスルームの下水の臭いがきつかった 使えば臭いが薄れるかと思ったけどそうでもなく、バスルームに入る度に嫌な気分になりました 部屋は広くて浄水器も置いてあって良かったのですがやはり臭いはどこまでもついてくるようです

wifi電波が悪すぎて繋げないほうが快適に使えてしまう。 そこは改善したほうが良いですね。 他は良かったです。

ウォーターサーバーが設置されていてよかった

駅に近く交通の利便性が良くて静かな環境で駐車場も駐めやすくてフロントスタッフの身なり対応もとても素晴らしくて次回も利用したいと思える施設だと感じました。

どの時間にフロントへ行っても、皆様が感じよく対応くださいました。 また2024年から設置させた、コインランドリーや電子レンジなどのイートスペースがとても助かりました。

しっかり清潔に保たれており、水回りもキレイでした。ウォーターサーバーがとてもよかったです。

初めての場所だったが駅の近くでよかった

修学旅行生がうるさくて眠れない。

Wi-Fiが不安定すぎて全く使えませんでした。部屋は埃があちこちにありました。 フロントの男性スタッフの方は感じがよかったです。 ウォーターサーバーがあったこともよかったです。 そんなに安いわけでもないので、アメニティももう少し充実していれば嬉しいと思いました。

リーズナブルでいいですね。部屋の清潔も素晴らしいです。部屋によってベット横のコンセントが緩いところがあるので気をつけましょう。

料金がお安いのに駅まで徒歩で行けて便利でした。また機会があったら利用させていただきたいです。

スタッフの方々の気遣いがとても温かく嬉しかったです。少し、清掃の面が気になりました。布団はとても心地よかったのですが、水周りの床の汚れやお風呂場の髪の毛などわ行き届いていなかったのが残念でした。気になったので自分で清掃しました。他の点は、とても良かったです。

역에서도 가깝고, 호텔도 내부도 넓어서 좋았음 방안에 정수기에서 뜨거운물을 받아서 이용할수있음. (정수기 불빛이 일부 숙박객에게는 수면에 방해가 될수 가능성 있음) 외출시 실물 키(카드키가 아니라 진짜 열쇠) 맡기기때문에 약간 불편할 수 있음

スタッフが丁寧でした

駅からも近くてコンビニも徒歩5分圏内にあり便利でした。 建物自体は新しい感じではないけれど とても清潔でスタッフの南さんが非常に感じが良く、ウォーターサーバーも便利で有り難かったです。また利用したいと思いました。

和室が利用ができよかった。

非常に快適な滞在でした。部屋は十分な広さで清潔です。最低限必要なアメニティもそろっています。また部屋にウォーターサーバーがあり、いつでも暖かいお茶や冷たい水が自由に飲めるのはありがたかったです。 またスタッフの方が本当に暖かく、恐縮してしまうほどです。清掃スタッフの方からも雨が降っているからと傘を貸して下さるなど、細やかなご配慮をいただきました。スタッフのみなさんから、このホテルでの滞在をいい思い出にしてほしいという思いが伝わってきました。 駅からもほどほどの距離で、不便はありません。 おすすめのホテルです。
