Hotel was good. Check-in was smooth, and the host was very helpful!
Very good and convenient
Fully equipped apartment. Spacious. Short walk to train, restaurants and shops. Staff were friendly and efficient.
Friendly staff and good services. Good breakfast. The curtains in the room as the way they were hung were a bit annoying, otherwise overall good.
Great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Prague
Very good location and very friendly helpful staff
This is my 2nd time to Prague and my 2nd stay at Hotel Elysse. The front desk is so helpful and the chamber maids are so polite. It’s a great location and the breakfast is phenomenal even by American Standards. Next time in Prague, I’ll be staying here again.
Very big, nice and clean breakfast room. They held our bags in storage for us. Nice room. Would stay again
Enjoyable and comfortable stay, the room was clean and we had a good nights sleep. The breakfast was very good with a good choice.
Special birthday
To access this property from Wenceslas Square you must walk down a 100-yard "passge" (more like a tunnel) with questionable businesses. The room was very small without a chair. Breakfast was average.
Cosy Hotel
Lovely Hotel Central to everything. Cosy and comfortable. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great.
Rooms are not maintained well, poor equipped. No place to put your cloth. No hooks in bathroom. Everything is too old. Hotel doesn’t invest in room upgrade’s. Breakfast very simple and not many chooses. Online pictures of rooms and other commodities are totally not how it looks in reality. No laundry service in hotel, but it was listed as provided. Not recommending this hotel.
Elysee Hotel is in a good location within walking distance of the station and Ol Town. It includes bteakfast which is goodand thw rooms were afequate for our purpose.iwould recommend this hotelto others
Hotel location is on Main Street, (little hard to locate, due to signage as well as having to walk through a mall like entrance to reach reception and rooms). Nice breakfast and close to a metro station in catching train to airport.
A hidden gem, right on Wenceslas Square. Full breakfast included, rooms clean and updated, extremely friendly staff! Can't say enough good about it, lots of shops and restaurants just steps outside your door. Very safe to walk around even at night, plenty of other tourists out too.
The staff was very helpful.
it was a very nice stay , nice breakfast and nice rooms!
bad checkout experience
overall the hotel is in perfect location and good value for money but the receptionist in the checkout was very bad and rude he call us for checkout at 12 and i asked him is it ok to have late checkout at 1.30 pm he told us ok no problem and at checkout he asked for extra money for late checkout ... i told him why you Didn't tell me on the phone that i will pay extra?? his answer was so rude that we are idiots as any late checkout is for extra so we refuse to pay as it wasn't our 1st time in Prague so he started to talk in aggressive way until we asked to talk with the manager to tell him its his fault as he didn't tell us about the extra cost on the phone so he say its ok and we didn't pay for it
Friendly and helpful reception staff. Decent clean room although not as warm as I would have liked in January and the bed was creaky. Breakfast had a range of hot and cold options and set me up for the day. Tricky to fond the entrance though because it is down a little shopping prcinct and the signs are list among a mass of larger neons for other places. Look out for Luxor and you’ll be in the right area.
apartment was very comfortable and spacious. staff were friendly and always helpful.
The hotel position is excellent the room are big the problems was the beds are too soft, no new bedding changed for the three days, not all the towels in the shower room has been changed and remain wet, We have not complained due to our short state
Hotel Elysee was centrally and very conveniently located. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I’ve had. Service is excellent. Would not hesitate to stay there again. Great value and highly recommended.
The perfect place to use as a base to explore Prague on foot. Close to the Central Railway station and right in the middle of Wenceslas Square. Lovely friendly staff, good breakfast room and offering, our apartment we spacious and very comfortable.
Great hotel
Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Excellent location. Close to train station, museum, Wenceslas Square and shopping. It’s right where you want to be.
As always Cool place to stay at good price
this hotel It’s just amazing. very good price very good location and amazing stuff. And also the breakfast buffet is delicious
Beds aren't comfortable, they are worn out foam ones with dents in the middle from where other people sleep.
Great hotel at awesome location- the lady receptionist was welcoming and nice 👍 the room was spacious and clean…the was no Czech TV though…
Air condition was locked and had to open windows on some days. Otherwise everything was excellent!
Amazing spot to stay!
This is a great place except parking. They say they have parking but only two spots did guests. That being said we found parking off the street. It wasn’t that hard. It’s a 20 minute walk from the Charles abridge and the center of town is literally down the way. There are so many restaurants and everyone at the hotel is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. Bonus: AC in the rooms. We were freezing. It was amazing. Not common in Europe
Nice trip to Prague
Centrally located, nice and clean, good breakfast, friendly staff
We had a fantastic time, perfect location, let us stay until 7:00 pm in the room until our flight out. We come again
Location is excellent for everything , trams, metro, old square, Wenceslas Square etc
Good stay in Prague
This hotel is right on St. Wenceslas square, so location is great! No bells and whistles, but perfectly fine for our use. Breakfast pretty good, typical European. Not overly friendly, but not rude. Good value for price. Walked everywhere!
Nice hotel
Stayed for 2 days, close to train station to walk, hotel was clean and comfortable, breakfast was great, majority of hotel staff helpful - booking tours and directions
Good rooms and excellent location with really friendly staff.
Property is located along the main Boulevard about a 5 minute walk from the Museum (and Metro stop). This makes it convenient to use public transport to train (1 metro stop) or the A line to an easy connection with bus 119 for airport service. I believe I paid about $8 for a 24 hour pass. Also City Center and Castle just a few stops away. Room was small but had it’s own bathroom. Rating primarily reflects the comfort of the bed (very firm) and pillows (too soft) which made difficult to sleep comfortably. Otherwise no complaints. This was a last minute booking and it did the trick for one night.
The staff changed at my request the room without any problem. The breakfast was very good.
Wouldn’t recommend
The photos of the rooms on website certainly do not depict the room we stayed in. We had a room with a double bed and single bed - beds were comfortable Enough.. We arrived late - Room was not warm , no working tv, long blonde hairs all over the dresser. There were long black hairs in the double bed. The shower had a little bit of black mould and the water temp kept changing from cold to warm during shower. Towels were tiny couldn’t wrap round my body and it was freezing getting out the shower. Hotel Is advertised as 4 star. Not a 4 star experience. I didn’t stay for breakfast so can’t comment on that. Has to pay a hotel tax on check out - wasn’t aware of any additional Charge to pay. The location of the hotel was pretty good - although went out to buy bottles 2 small cold bottles of water and was charged 160 corona (equivalent to about 5 British pounds sterling) now that was a rip off - but that’s nothing to do with the hotel. Maybe we just had a bad room in the hotel and the rest or nice - but based on my experience I wouldn’t renmend and certainly wouldn’t stay here again.
Great location
Very nice clean hotel, Great location too. My husband was very pleased with breakfast
We first got given a double bed , 2 males they soon changed it to a room what smelt of prawn, we opened the window to get rid off the and notice a big extractor fan from the chinese resurant,u have too ring the bell for them to open the gate as mentioned before. Not a 4 star 3 star at the very top if lucky, location was good wouldnt stay here again too many issues for my comfort. Breakfast was not my liking who has mixed veg for breakfast is beyound me
Decent enough
It’s a decent hotel - nothing spectacular but not dismal either. The location inside the shopping mall isn’t great - the gates to the shopping mall are locked between midnight and 6am - it’s not a big deal but as I’m a smoker and the hotel is completely non-smoking I was annoyed that I was trapped inside the hotel at night with no smoking area. The entrance to the shopping centre can be a little hard to find at first - if you find the Ramada hotel in Wenceslas Square first, the entrance to the shopping centre is just two doors up. The room was a decent size and comfortable - I wasn’t thrilled that the double bed had two single duvets on it and they’re a little tight with the supply of tea and coffee in the room, but these are only small points - the wifi is good and a good shower. The hotel is in a great area for restaurants and metro lines A & B are just a couple of minutes walk away. Breakfast is varied and often replenished - the staff are pleasant and helpful. It’s worth a stay
Really nice hotel, good location. Nice staff, allowed us to check in early too 😉
The staff was very helpful and professional. The room looked nice and accommodated three adults very well,
Good location, clean and modern rooms. We did not like the extra charge for A/C which was abusive.
Good location extremely recommend to stay When You travel to Praha
3-nights in Prague
Very nice stay, room was fine, though wish there were different window treatments that hugged the windows so I could avoid ducking around the drapes to get to my side of the comfy bed. Water pressure in shower was great and there was room next to the sink to put toiletries. Minibar in room had to be changed out for another because it wasn't working. TV was skitzing out on the 2 English channels, so that was changed out too - didn't help, so presumed it was the satellite signal. Breakfast was very good, lots of variety, fresh fruit, cheese, cold cuts, scrambled eggs, cereal, yogurt, pastries. Location was excellent in the New Town section, close to the underground and within walking distance to the main train station or 1 underground stop away. Hotel entrance was in the rear of an arcade of other businesses, but it was not hard to find.
Quick 2 day getaway.
Stayed at the hotel for a quick 2 day getaway. It's located in old Town within walking distance of shopping as well as some amazing sights. The area has a great atmosphere but isn't so loud that if you went to sleep early it would keep you asleep. The hotel is also located between 2 subway stops and just up the street from a streetcar station meaning public transit is easily accessible and very cheap in Prague. It cost me $1.83 Cdnto get to the hotel from the airport by public transit. Would and will definitely stay here again
Likes the location, very friendly staff and great breakfast choices!!
Wonderful breakfast buffet. Comfortable room. Helpful staff.
Overall a good hotel, good location, very nice breakfast, friendly staff, unfortunately there is construction site right next to the hotel at the moment and choose air condition, the room was warm. The floor could use a cleaning.
John
Very nice hotel but entrance not so easy to find
Wouldn’t recommend
Hotel average but on the perimeter of a building site that is very noisy during the day and early morning.
Lots of breakfast choices, hot, cold, cereal, fruit, very good coffee. The staff was brilliant
I think the staff at the reception desk were very pleasant, especially Patricia who gain me some valuable information.
Brilliant central hotel.
Brilliant hotel, very centrally located. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast buffet. Highly recommended.
Amazing Place super friendly staff
Simply amazing. The service of this hotel is incredible, people are super attentive, breakfasts is included and it is tasty and great. All the staff were always ready to help us...we can't wait to come back to Prague and this beautiful hotel.
Room loud with theatre directly below, neighborhood dodgey, and shower and sink clogged during stay. You get what you pay for I guess.
Couldn’t fault the hotel and staff Ideally located on Wenceslas Square with lovely restaurants literally few feet away. Staff were always pleasant and very accommodating. The room was spotless Breakfast was really good
Nice clean hotel
Nice hotel. Good location . No view Very good breakfast .
Lovely hotel, good location, friendly and helpful staff, they upgraded us to the two top floor suites so we were very happy indeed. Good breakfast menu and the whole hotel was very Christmassy.
Nice hotel, close to the train station and tourist attractions, restaurants, shopping.
Hotel cut off air con
The hotel have turn the air con off to hot air, thire reason is in the early morning the temperature is 5 -8 oC, but I feel is warm in room , they insist to cut off. Even day time I m working in room and the temperature is abt 18-22 oC which I feel wram, this make me feel bad. I choose this hotel coz have air con, end up nothing.
Good value in Prague
Hotel is quite modest, but clean, and front desk are helpful. There are a few drawbacks that may seem odd to some visitors - the hotel entrance is deep within a shopping mall, and the reception is upstairs; there is no thermostat to control room temperature, and no AC. But it is very good value and convenient to many Prague sights. Nothing in the old town is more than a 20 minute walk.
Very good breakfasts, lots of choice.
Good location, very close to all major city attractions.
Comfortable hotel in great, central location. Walking distance from main rail/ bus station.
Cosy nice located hotel
The hotel staffs were polite and attentive and a good selection of foods on the breakfast menu
TOAKS
The Hotel Elysee was a wonderful place to stay. I give it top marks in all areas. It a well maintained older building. My only concern is building fire safety. The building is not sprinkled and the only escape route is down the stairs in the center of the building. There is a locked door at the bottom of one of the two stairs in the building. I doubt that this door would automaticaly unlock in case of fire. The building does have smoke alarms.
On Wenceslas Square
About 10mins walk to train station and old town. Situated inside a mall with few cheap and good eateries: Czech, Viet and chinese food. Breakfast is ok. Told the staff we need to check out at 5.30am and she offers to pack us breakfast. Pillow as in many European hotels is always flat. Room is quite tight but bathroom is huge (bath cubicle is small though). Puzzle me. Good stay for the convenience.
What I liked the most of this hotel is that is was centrally located. Public transportation was very easily reachable within a few steps. Metro station available and very easy to navigate. Breakfast wa great ! Buffet style and a large variety of coffee, tea, eggs, bread, fruits, sausages, juices, . The frint desk staff was very helpful !
Friendly and helpful staff. Great Location on Wenceslas Square a stones throw from National Museum, although entrance is via a shopping arcade so does not look as good from outside as inside. Breakfast room only, no restaurant or bar which would have been nice. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Upgrade to air conditioned room offered at check-in for extra charge.
Nice stay in heart of prague
It was hot but there was a fan in the room which made it bearable , good breakfast would stay again good price for location
Hotel Elysee Prague Review
Amazing, very close to all ancient sites, friendly staff!
Great location in the heart of Wenceslaus Square and close to Old Town Square. Clean, modern air conditioned room with comfortable bed and nice bathroom/shower. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.
Nice hotel close to shops and old town. Great breakfast
Great location
We loved being so close to everything like shops, tours, hop on/hop off buses, restaurants etc. Very easy to find things. Close to train station.
Nice
A/C not working in apartment we rented, so they moved us into nice room. This altered our plans somewhat, but worked out okay. Breakfast was average, but also okay. Location was excellent and quiet for the center a town. Lots of food options and sightseeing in easy walking distance.
Nice apartment, clean, easy access to shops
I paid for a double bed room but at the time of arriving at 1 in the night got a room with two twin beds. There isn't air conditioning in the room. The wardrobe without shelfs.
Construction next door but wasn't too loud. Room was spacious enough and clean. Good breakfast.
Perfect setting for my needs
On arrival staff couldn't do enough for me, great service.
It's a good Hotel close to the principal place of the town. Good breakfast and facilities, but a little expensive.
Excellent Hotel.
We have booked holidays many times online,(Not with Expedia,)and have had a few bad experiences in the past but Expedia excelled themselves, the hotel was more than we expected. The staff were very attentive and polite, nothing was a bother for them. Will be booking our next holiday through Expedia.
Nice but without 4 Star facilities
Receptions is inside a comercial gallery on a 1 st floor....No lobby, no bar, no restaurant ..... breakfast it’s good . Rooms are small but very good maintained . Staff are cool ! It’s a very good 3 Star hotel..... not a 4 Star.....
Return to the Elysee
My second time to the Elysee as good as the first. A great rate via Expedia makes it a superb buy. Centrally located on Wenceslas Square, it was more than adequate for a 3 night stay.
I chose the hotel as it was close to the event I was attending; it's also very well placed for public transport links, museums, food and shopping. Yes, you have to keep an eye open for the hotel entrance but it's a great location. Varied, free breakfast with hot and cold options. Staff were all helpful. Free Wifi, toiletries in the en suite bathroom, slippers, plenty of hanging space and a working safe in the room.
Good location.
Nice hotel. Very good location in the vicinity of metro transportation.
Good location
Great location, close to shops and restaurants. It was hard at find at first but signs were clear. Safe and secure hotel, you have to use your key to open door and elevator. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. Room is spacious. Safe in room. Breakfast is ok.
nice hotel near the main train station
We picked the hotel because it was close to the train station. It is situated in a major tourist district. Public transportation is easily accessible. The entrance is hidden deep inside a building but we had no problem finding it. We had a family room and it was spacious for 4 adults. The breakfast was very basic. It was all cold food. I would definitely return to this hotel on my next trip there.
Nice hotel right in the middle of Prague, only thing it doesn't have is air conditioning .
Good Location
Hotel is located along one of the main streets. Walking distance to historical places. Closer to tram/shopping. There is construction of a tall building on the side of our room, which was obviously noisy during day time. Breakfast was good.
Summer luxury getaway
We had great A/C and slept like babies as the building was very quiet. Our huge apartment had a full kitchen and a wet bar! The furniture is beautiful heavy cherry wood and we felt like princesses. This hotel is right in the action as you just walk it from Wenceslas square in the heart of Prague's restaurant, shopping and tourist area. Easy access to the subway too which goes to the castle, old town, the Palladium, the train station and the airport. The staff woke us up on our last day at 4am, as requested, and had a great-priced taxi waiting for us at 4:45 to get us to the airport on time. Very friendly staff, very secure location. Chip keys open all doors, hallways and elevators. This place is a bargain and I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Prague.
Good position for the centr
Overall a good hotel, but construction work occuring at the back which started early each morning so be warned not helpful after a late night.
Highly convenient location with helpful staff
Located in a highly convenient location where you can reach most of the attractions in 10-15 mins' walk. Spacious room and friendly staff. Adela is particularly helpful and nice.
Decent location as it is right by Wencelas square
I stayed there for three nights and they were very polite. They close the door to the passage that leads from the square directly to the passage of the hotel by 23h00, but you just need to ring the bell and the concierge is there within 3 minutes to open. it is very safe outside. The most important factor was that I had left by wallet and cash in the safe and moved to book into the Boscolo for another night. I realised that I had left it there, and rushed back. As soon as I got there, they recognised me and handed over the wallet and envelope with about Euro 2,000 which was really something wow! It left me with a great impression of the hotel. Thank you!
Excellent location and good service
We had booked the standard room and it was ok. It was hot in the room as we did not have any A/C in the room. We upgraded with a nominal fee and loved the upgraded room.
The hotel was central and close to old town square.
Nice hotel. Central location.
Nice hotel. Friendly staff. Location is good with most attractions in walking distance and easy access to trams and metro.

Prague at Christmas
Great place to stay. Close to all attractions and restaurants. Was very impressed with breakfasts which were phenomenal Particularly appreciated brekky to go as we had an early flight. Highly recommended. Also loved the Christmas market and the delicious food were were able to try👌👌👌
