Hotel is just a few minutes away from the Promenade des Anglais and the beach. Parking is available on the property. Friendly and helpful owners who upgraded us from a room with 2 beds to a superior room with 3 beds at no additional cost. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was no A/C but the hotel offers good value for the money.

Loved our stay! Staff super helpful!

Checking in I had no issues with and the location was pretty good, but the hotel doesn’t have air conditioning and it was super hot and hard to sleep. The outside was about 87° and the inside of the hotel had to have been like 95°. Kinda pricy for a place without air conditioning. I wouldn’t recommend if you don’t like sleeping in a hot stuffy room.

If i have to go back to Nice, i will go back there.👍

Weird smells after cleaning. Poor soundproofing. WiFi connection sometimes not stable. The facility not new as well. Generally fine though considering the price.

The staff attitude was so inconsiderate and not friendly. In the expedia app it says that room has a minbar fridge which is not correct, I counted on it to put my meficine in and the staff instead of apologizing, got defensive and said I should not expect a 2 star hotel to have a mini fridge in France which was not the point.

Cool place with great price. No bathroom in the room was a slight inconvenience but was overall a good experience. The bed comforter in my room looked dirty with brown spots. So I didn’t use it. It was worth the price paid.

Great location, convenient, quiet. Free coffee in the morning was a nice touch - we enjoyed it at the hotel's patio with pastries from a nearby bakery.

どこが玄関なのかわからない入り口でホテルと名乗るほどの施設でない。3階(2nd fl.)まで重たいスーツケースを階段で自分で持って上がれと当たり前のように言う。ベッドメークや掃除はできているし、セキュリティも悪くはない。ニースのホテル全てが高い料金なので、ニース相場なのだろうが、あの設備では高い！

Hotel is literally located in a car park. There is only a kettle in the room, no cups. No air con which in 36 degree weather is awful. Toilet did not work. Towels were intermittently clean I.e. it depended on the day. I understand the hotel is cheap but pay a few hundred more or find an alternative. Would not recommend.

Location & staff very good… bedlinen was clean. Room was tiny & the noise from nearby rooms very noticeable!

Our stay was great and we loved this hotel

Rooms are pleasant and clean but the hotel is incredibly noisy. It's a good place to stay if you don't want to sleep. Also, unlike what is written here, there is no breakfast at the hotel.

Really nice and friendly staff here. They helped us with so many things - allowed us to check in very early, opened the door for us very late, helped find a taxi (not so easy in Nice), allowed a late check out...superb customer service!!

Room offered nothing other than an old bed, skimpy pillows, no air, no hair dryer, broken shower head, small thin towels, all in a room the size of a sardine can - and for 200 Euros a night!

This is a good value budget hotel run by two very pleasant brothers. My normal Hotels were not available and thought I would try this one. Only 12 rooms tucked away in the corner of a road only 600m from the a promenade. You can hear noise from other rooms so would take some good earplugs. Little area outside is very nice to sit and eat or drink. No breakfast available at present but many places nearby to buy supplies. Was lent a kettle for my room so could make coffee. The owners would also offer to make me drink if needed. All in all a good stay and very comfortable for a 2star Hotel Would return. Thank you

Excellent experience. Very clean, spacious, and the most exceptional staff I've had of the many hotel rooms I have rented. If an elevator is a must, it could be an issue.

Concierge was so attentive, pleasant and courteous. He helped us book a tour and allowed us to use beach umbrellas and mats they had on hand for us to take on our daily trips to the beach. Only negative is the fact that hotel does not have AC, and the fans does not keep the room cool enough.

This was a very basic but clean and friendly hotel! The staff were very helpful and the place was very clean. Beds were comfortable. The rooms were basic but good value for money! Location was great not far from the sea front! It was a 10 minute walk from the tram at Mangan but they are extending the line which will be closer to the hotel! Tram is 1.50€ from the airport!

Fantastic staff at the hotel, ideal location and very comfortable room

Small Hotel tucked away but only 200 metres from Promenade Anglaise. A little old fashioned but everywhere was clean and fresh. Fabrice was extremely friendly and very helpful. Fantastic value for money hotel, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Tucked away in a quiet corner, yet very close to the promenade. Very helpful staff - gave good advice when needed. Breakfast in the garden was great.

The hotel location is excellent: close to the beach and within easy walking distance from many tourist locations. Also we found some excellent and inexpensive restaurants very close by. Eating breakfast in the lovely garden nook was delightful, and we have never had a better concierge than Fabrice. He was thoughtful, kind, courteous and efficient. We are very happy to highly recommend Hotel Danemark.

Warm welcome.

We received a very warm welcome from Fabrice who was really helpful concerning tourist info. Our room was as expected, no frills but clean and bright. Lack if air con was an issue in high temperatures but the supplied tower fan did help. Breakfast was basic for €8 each but coffee and juice was plentiful. Quiet part of town but the walk in was very pleasant. Car parking at €10 a night recommended, Its in an alocated lockable garage within yards of the hotel. Overall, we were happy with our stay, especially with the friendly welcome from our hosts.

Great location, close to busses and beach

Great location, friendly and helpful staff. They spoke english really well. Nice being so close to the beach, and able to borrow things from the hotel to take down to the beach. Downside is our bathroom had no ventilation and after showers it stayed humid. The room also had no aircon which it says on their website. In late june when we stayed, we needed aircon though. Other then that, was a plesant stay.

Works for what it is.

Great value, but very, very low frills. If you don’t mind a shared toilet and no air conditioning in the room, this is a good value.

Myself and my partner stayed for 3 nights in May. The location of the hotel is really good, only a 5min walk to the promenade. The staff we really nice and friendly. The room size was good and the bed was comfortable. Our room was on the second floor next to the stair well. As the stairs are made of marble/stone there was a lot of echo of noise, especially when other guests were coming and going. Our window opened up to a footpath below, which was also very busy and noisy at all hours; there was no air-con so the room would get quite warm especially at night, but there was a noise issue when leaving the window open. The shared toilet was clean at all times. The shower room in our room was in need of a deep clean, the grout between the tiles had mould growing on it, not only in the shower but on the walls; the tap water also had a funny sulphur smell. If visiting Nice again, if I was to stay here I would request a room at the bottom on th hall on the front of the building.

Perfect for a certain type of traveler

It is not luxurious--small room, no gleaming marble, no swimming pool, no fitness center or food. But for what it is supposed to be -- an inexpensive, very clean room in NICE on the Riviera in May....it was excellent. Very small boutique hotel. The man behind the desk was extraordinary in his service--even found room in a tiny closet for me to store a bag, saving me a fortune as I didn't have to take it on a plane for a side trip. A reasonable walk to the center of town and very short to the beach. TIP: Take the #23 bus from the airport. It is only a couple of euro and stops a five minute walk away. A taxi will run you TWENTY euro or more and an Uber 10-20 euro as well.

Exactly what we needed

Hotel Danemark was exactly what we needed! It could get hot without air conditioning so keep that in mind for what time of year you're visiting, but it wasn't bad in early June. The windows also don't have screens, so if you don't want mosquito bites you can't keep the windows open at night, which adds to the heat problem. The shower is very, very tiny, but it is located in the room, which is convenient. The toilet is in the hall. The location is about a 25 minute walk or 10 minute drive from Old Nice, and a 20 minute walk or 7 minute drive from the train station. We didn't mind long walks, but people who don't love the idea of spending a lot of money on cabs/ubers or walking significant distances might not love the location. It is very close to the beach though, and walking along the beach to Old Nice was lovely and definitely didn't make the 25 minute walk feel like a chore. The owners are lovely and always willing to help with whatever you need! The only down side is that they aren't available after 8 PM, and since many restaurants in Nice don't even open for dinner until 7 or 7:30 PM, you'll be on your own once you get home from dinner. But they have a refrigerator of wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages that you can take at any time and are very reasonably priced, which was wonderful. For the prices at Hotel Danemark, we were so impressed with how wonderful it was and would highly recommend it to other young couples!

Great, quiet location near the beach.

The staff was incredibly pleasant and helpful to me and my 16-month-old son and the location was ideal. For the price you can't find a better place to stay in Nice.

Good value budget hotel

Hotel Danemark is overall a great budget option for visiting Nice. The rooms are small and minimal, but do just fine if you're not planning on being in the room very much. The staff are really nice and very helpful. The hotel is very close to the Promenade d'Anglais, but a bit of a walk from the old town/port area. Only complaints are that the wifi was spotty, the shower was incredibly small, and the external bathroom is a bit annoying. Overall however, good value for the price.

Small hotel, good location, lovely staff

The small hotel is a 2min walk from the beach, 10min from old town. It's quiet (except when other visitors slam their doors all night) the room is just a room, nice enough but it gets very stuffy and hot, there's no air con, only a small fan. I wouldn't recommend more than a few nights here. The staff however are lovely and have things for you to use at the beach, a fridge and tea and coffee etc.

Friendly stay in Nice

We needed a couple of nights in this neighborhood of Nice and we found this family run hotel really friendly, clean and great value for money. As my husband says a good 9 out of 10!

Outstanding!! Great People, Location and Value!!

This hotel is an amazing value........but that's not why it's great. The staff are helpful and most kind which, for me makes this a no brainer. We got in early and they were kind enough to let us check in...probably not always the rule, but still...they didn't have to do that. It's not the fanciest hotel in Nice, but it's super cute and quaint. Very comfortable to just hang out...there's an outdoor cafe' style patio out front. After you pick up your croissant and cafe' down the street, you can just come back to the hotel, chill outside and soak up the fresh Mediterranean air....awesome!!!

2 nights in Nice

It was ok hotel to stay 2 nights. Good location to the beach around 5mins. except small bathroom and no lift (difficult to carry your luggage to the upstairs)

Reasonably priced and convenient location

We enjoyed our stay. While the room is basic it was very clean and neat. Hotel staff where very helpful and welcoming. Location was a short walk to the beach and the old town. We would definately stay here again.

Pretty happy with this hotel

Staff were great, pretty good location, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. loved the breakfast for 8 euros. We arrived quite early before check in and the guy at the desk arranged for our room to be cleaned first so we could check in at lunch time. very welcoming and accomodating. room was tidy and clean, even though it is quite small we didnt mind. would definitly stay here again.

Amazing Host & Good Price

The location is a far walk from the old city, but it's quite close to Promenade Des Anglais so you can take that all the way to the old town. It's actually quite a pleasing walk. What makes this hotel special is the host. He is extremely friendly and helpful! Be aware that the hotel is a bit hard to find and the reception closes at around 7 or 8.

Nice hotel good for beach and transport

Perfect for a few days in Nice!

Great hotel in a fantastic location just a few minutes walk from the beach, and close to great shops and restaurants. The staff were brilliant and helped us with anything we needed. The room was perfectly comfortable for the two of us for three nights, bathroom was small but manageable! The room was serviced each day and everything was kept spotless. Highly recommend :)

An amazing place to be

My mum and I recently visited Nice and loved staying in Hotel Danemark. The service was beyond outstanding and we found it in a wonderful location, very close to the promenade! Also there are museums and excellent bakeries nearby too. (There is also a major bus stop near by incase you want to go to Cannes or the airport or just need a little extra help into the centre.) The walk into the centre is short and has lots of sites along the way. I recommend this hotel to everyone! It really made our stay extra special. Everyone here was smiling and it's because it's staff go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. Thanks again Hotel Danemark!

Cosy homely feel with great customer service

We drove to the hotel from the airport and following the map we had no trouble finding the hotel at all, even though it was slightly off the beaten track. Being a budget hotel we didn't know what to expect, but the owner/manager made our stay one of the most pleasant we've had anywhere in the world. His energy, passion & focus on customer satisfaction was second to none. When we arrived he showed me to where I could park the car & made an effort to come out & greet my girlfriend as well. He then offered us coffee in the courtyard garden, which was really very pleasant. He was then more than happy to give us guide books & show us on a map where to go & what to see. We arrived with no plans & didn't want to rush around so the fact he took this on board & said just a couple of places we "must" see was really good. In the morning we got up really late after not requesting breakfast the night before & even so he offered to make breakfast for us so we didn't have to look for anywhere. It was also raining a little so he found us both umbrella's that we could use for the day. All these little touches made for a really enjoyable stay & I would recommend staying here to anyone.

Cómodo y muy bien ubicado

Paramos allí solo una noche, en ruta hacia Italia. Lo escogimos porque está cerca del centro, pero fuera de la zona de bajas emisiones. La atención fue de primer nivel. Nos esperaron, auqnue llegamos más tarde del horario de atención, para indicarnos dónde era el parking. Las habitaciones son pequeñas, pero muy confortables y limpias. No tuvimos tiempo de apreciar lo que ofrecía el hotel.

I had a good enough stay. Friendly service, nice area near the boulevard. Every day clean new towels en bedding. I traveled alone so bed was sufficient but for 2 persons it might be a bit small, but what to expect, 2 star hotel. Only disadvantage is the shared toilet but shower was fine and got good soap and shampoo for free what was a pleasant suprise. Very nice terrace at the front and I could keep an eye on my car from my room which I felt the car was safe at the courtyard

Bettmatratzen gingen gar nicht. Sind viel zu dünn und man merkt alles unter sich. Schrecklich. Wir konnten daher nicht schlafen. Sauberkeit im Zimmer und Größe des Zimmers waren ok. Personal beim Auschecken war nicht freundlich. 1 Minute vor der Check out Zeit wurde schon an der Tür geklopft … dieses Hotel würden wir keinem empfehlen.

Die Unterkunft ist sauber und funktionell aber sehr simpel eingerichtet! Es besteht Renovierungsbedarf ( rostige Heizung, lose Fensterbrüstung, Fernseher nicht an Wandhalterung ). Reinigungspersonal sehr ordentlich und freundlich! Unterkunft hat eine sehr gute Lage! Preis eher zu hoch.

Je trouve le prix de 100 euros la nuit excessif par rapport au confort de la chambre : toilettes partagées avec une autre chambre/pas de mini bar/pas de clim en plein été.

Room did not look like the pics and were HOT

I usually do not give bad reviews, but this was a really bad stay for us. The room did not look like the pictures at all, was really old and looked like a worn down hostel. The worst was the heat in the room, we had the top floor which was incredibly hot and the fan was barely working so it was a night with little sleep. I would not recommend this hotel. The only good thing was the location.

Muy pequeño

En epoca de calor tener cuidado, hay muchos mosquitos y sin A/C se tienen que abrir las ventanas y no tienen mosquiteros, el pequeño ventilador no fue suficiente. La luz del cuarto nunca prendió. El baño extremadamente chico. Te avisan desde un principio que el check-in es hasta las 8pm, y despues no hay nadie en lobby. El check-in y check-out muy facil.

Prisvärd frukost, som vi kunde avnjuta utomhus. Ingen AC, så det var väldigt varmt på rummet. Perfekt läge… bara ungefär fem minuter promenad till stranden.

Litet familjärt hotell bra beläget med rimligt avstånd till såväl flygplatsen som centrala Nice.

Veldig enkelt, men trivelig sted - godt renhold. Fin beliggenhet i stille område. Har allerede bestilt neste opphold her :-)

Hôtel agréable à Nice

Bel hôtel, bien chauffé voire un peu trop. Mais bon, on ne va pas s'en plaindre. Par contre, l'eau chaude pour la douche tarde un peu, mais après 3 minutes c'est bon. Accueil chaleureux de l'équipe. Le lieu est propre, et l'atmosphère est agréable. Hôtel très calme en plus ! Chambre à prix très correct pour la saison. Je reviendrai

Juste pour une nuit.....

Un peu bruyant la nuit, vu que j'avais la Chambre Number 1.... 1ETG........ Et les gens qui montent et descendent les escaliers comme des grosses M....... en plein milieu de la nuit et voir toutes la nuit sans se soucier des autres c'est magnifique !!! ça a été le hic ! Par contre si vous réservez penser à demander loin des escaliers .......... Parking payant ou dans la rue a voir si place bien sur.......... payante selon le jour.....

trés bien situé, proche du centre ville

Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir wussten nicht das wir kein eigenes WC haben, jedoch war es schlussendlich gar nicht so schlimm.

Très bien mais pas simple à trouver

Proche du Tramway L2 qui vient de l'aéroport, l'hôtel est à 2 arrêts du centre-ville. L'arrêt est à 5 minutes à pieds de l'hôtel mais l'hôtel n'est pas simple à trouver une fois arrivé à l'adresse. il faut téléphoner si on ne trouve pas. L'autre surprise est la difficulté de trouver un bouton qui permet de tirer la chasse d'eau du WC.Le bouton est caché sur le côté droit du WC. Sinon, très bon accueil. Possible de prendre un petit déjeuner dans une boulangerie proche de l'arrêt du tramway à petit prix.

Hôtel situation à 20 minutes à pied de Nice et à quelques minutes de la plage. Parfait.

Hôtel bien placé mais un peu chère

Il manque la climatisation dans les chambres et pour certaines les toilettes sont sur le palier. Sinon hôtel très bien disposé à 2min du tram et de la promenade des anglais, accueil aimable et chaleureux. Il reste que le prix me semble un peu élevé au regard des prestations.

We can only recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Firstly the parking lot which we booked was right in front of the hostel, secondly the service was the best! Everything was taken care of, every question we had regarding the city, was answered kindly and we could just feel how the staff cared about the customers. We were offered a better room, because they had one free! The breakfast was good as well. We definitely recommend for everyone who wishes a great service, very good price and amazing location (very near to the beach!). Thank you so much.

Je ne savais pas quand j’ai réservé que les toilettes était commune, sinon, pour le prix ça va. Un lit dans une petite chambre, peut dépanner une nuit, mais pas un long séjour.

Der Chef des Hauses war sehr liebenswürdig, hilfsbereit und stand mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Das Haus liegt unweit vom Strand, doch abseits einer Straße in einem Innenhof. Vor dem Haus kann man in einem Gärtchen frühstücken.

Imøtekommende, hyggelig personale

Personale hyggelig og hjelpsomt, føler seg velkommen. Lite hotell i rolig sidegate, men kun få minutt til Promenade des Anglais, til bu- og trikkestopp. Liten hage for koselig frokoststund. Reint og fint rom, men aircondition fungerte ikkje tilstrekkelig i det varme sommerværet. Med åpent vindu blei det likevel ei behagelig natt, ingen insekter så heilt ok. Bor gjerne her ved eventuelt fremtidig besøk i Nice.

Muy bueno todo! La ubicación, la habitación, la ropa de cama y la limpieza. Tienen estacionamiento en el lugar económico. Tienen artículos de playa, sombrillas y colchonetas sin cargo. Volveríamos sin dudarlo! Para destacar la atención de Fabrizio!

Schlicht eingerichtetes Zimmer zu einem sehr guten Preis. Sehr freundliches Personal. Stellen verschiedene Dinge wie Strandmatten und Geschirr zur Verfügung. Die Lage des Hotels ist nah zum Strand (keine 5 Gehminuten) und nah zu Bushaltestelle und Supermarkt. Der Aufenthalt war klasse.

Nettes Personal, gutes Zimmer und leckeres Frühstück, was will man mehr.

Der Garten ist sehr schön, die Zimmereinrichtung sehr schön, Badezimmer ist veraltet und die Wände sind sehr dünn, d.h. man hört wirklich alles durch. Liegt in einer ruhigen Seitengasse, wie schon erwähnt Frühstück im Garten bzw. auf der Terrasse sehr schön und sehr angenehm. Frühstück ist sehr gut und Personal ebenfalls. Lage sehr gut!

Gemütliches, kleines Hotel mit hervorragendem Service. Sowohl die Stadtmitte, als auch der Bahnhof Nice Ville sind in 20 Gehminuten erreichbar, die Promenade innerhalb von 3-5 Minuten. Zwei kleine Abstriche gibt es für den wenigen Stauraum im eingebauten Bad (besonders als Frau mit Schminksachen etc) und die Hellhörigkeit innerhalb des Hauses, da man bis weit in die Nacht teilweise die Türen knallen hört von Mitreisenden. Ansonsten sehr nettes Hotel, etwas ab vom Touristentrouble und doch weitgehend zentral. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt von 3-4 Tagen würde ich das EZ sicher wieder wählen!
