Friendly staff, comfortable room

The location is unbeatable. Very close to the metro, near many restaurants, and lively street art and music. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was plentiful and varied. We also had access to a lounge with coffee, water, and tea, and even once we checked out, our bags were held and we continued to have access to the lounge, the pool, and the gym/showers!

We arrived at 1:00am after a long day of missed connections in Argentina and were welcomed back with lovely smiles and open arms for our second stay. The luggage we left days earlier for pickup on our return was already in our room! The included breakfast is lovely and provides options for any taste. The location in Lastarria is ideal for experiencing the vibrancy of Santiago’s downtown - Santa Lucia, Plazas de Armas, several museums, beautiful parks and many restaurant/bar options are available to suit any taste and pocketbook.

What a wonderful experience!!!

We were welcomed with open arms by people we’d never met before! It was an amazing experience. The included breakfast was delicious each day, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating. The location is perfect for exploring downtown Santiago. There are restaurants/wine bars/etc. available within 5 minutes to suit any taste. Santa Lucia Hill is within minutes, and it’s entirely possible and pleasant to walk through Bellavista (lunch at Restaurant Venezia was delicious) to the funicular at Cerro San Cristobal. We plan to return from Argentina for our last two days in South America and have not only booked again at the hotel but have actually asked for the same room!!

Be prepared for the are outside this hotel. It’s all about the culture though, so if that’s your “thing” it’s fun. But it can also be unsafe if you’re not careful. The hotel is lovely, and right where the action is. There’s a hop on off bus close, a must do when in Santiago.

My room was very nice and comfortable with a great view. There was no desk, which was okay for this trip, and the lighting was nice but insufficient. Breakfast was just good.

I appreciated the filtered water machine in the rooms as well as the welcome drink and the complementary bottle of wine. The morning breakfast was fantastic.

Perfect location to stay in to walk around and explore! Great bars and restaurants nearby and you can also walk to the art museum and many other attractions. Welcome drinks given and the staff was always very friendly.

Had a very pleasant 6 days stay. I had to place a deposit of US 100 as a Sercurity and was told that it will be refund to my Mastercard account. a week after checkout. Check out 10 days ago and no refund so far. Just annoy that it takes such long time to get your money back.

Si vas por varios días ya no quieres ni verlo. . Lo que no nos gustó es que en la habitación, si bien es amplia y muy cómoda, no tiene gavetas para uno guardar la ropa si va por varios días.

Slightly dated bedrooms - but an excellent size. Excellent breakfast - with lots of options and fresh food made quickly. Nice bathroom. Nice touches - coffee machine, 'business lounge', nice bar area. Fantastic location.

Good hotel, needs rooms improvements

The hotel is located in a premium spot of the city, safe, good restaurants and several things to do walking distance. My main two low points were that the hotel restaurant bar hours were very inconvenient for a work / pleasure trip ( 5 to 9 PM only ) and the rooms were nice but total lack of privacy in the restroom area makes it uncomfortable for a couple if you are not use to totally see and hear each other every time you go to the toilet or take a shower ( glass walls all around as dividers between WC/Shower/bedroom so be ready to be in a fishtank )

I had a wonderful stay. A short stay but very relaxing and amazing. I had a wonderful bottle of red wine waiting for me in my room. The staff at the front desk were amazing. They were very helpful and attentive. The location was nice close restaurants around.

My wife and I had a great sray at Cumbres Lastarria, the hotel is beautiful, chic and very well located. The only thing we didn't like as much was the breakfast, no variety at all, pastries don't seen to be fresh and were very dry. Overall, a really good stay.

Good location in trendy area, good breakfast, comfortable bed. Regrettably, bathroom separated from sleeping space only by a glass wall, towels are inextricably on a shell in the toilet room, which has not only just a glass door but not even a full length one. TMI even for intimate partners.

It’s a very nice hotel with friendly staff in a perfect location. You walk out of the hotel and you are steps away from restaurants, bars and the night market. The breakfast was also delicious with many options.

Staff is great. Location is great if you don’t leave the immediate area. Great restaurants on the same street as the hotel. Santiago used to be a clean & safe city but now it’s a dangerous and dirty city. Just be aware and beware!

Does the job…for a short stay

Overall, I’d say a stay here is “Meh.” The hotel is in a good location with tons of great restaurants and bars right on the street. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast is good with plenty of choice. The service is a hit-or-miss, sometimes really welcoming, sometimes just pretty stoic. Same goes for the hot water as a hit-or-miss, in a 5-minute interval, it could go from a blip of hot, then cold for a long time, and back to a blip of hot again. We had the smell of sulfur come through the vents it seems twice a day, in the early mornings and then again in the evenings, could’ve been more but we weren’t in the room the whole day to say. It’s clean overall, it’s just a hotel I don’t think would be in the top of our list to return to. The location was the best thing about it perhaps.

Cosy and comfortable room. Breakfast has hot and cold options both. Lighting in the room is a little dark and dull. The staff are very friendly, helpful and courteous.

Room was comfortable and fairly clean. Use wet wipes when get in room to wipe surfaces. Came up with three dirty wipes. Front desk not real helpful. However, kudos to Nicholas who helped a few times when other personnel would not. His service was much appreciated. Location of hotel is great.

This is a beautiful hotel located in a great area of Santiago. The offered a nice variety of food on the breakfast buffet. The rooftop pool had an amazing view.

Lovely comfortable hotel with amazing buffet breakfast, amazing range of pastries and breads plus hot breakfast and fresh fruit. Lounge with coffee machine and a little pool on the roof. Area around the hotel is great for dining and drinks options and a little street market right in front of the hotel with vibrant street life! Highly recommend staying here when in Santiago. If I ever return to Santiago I m pretty sure I d look no further than Cumbres in choosing a hotel. If its in your budget then I cant imagine there being too many better options. Perfect location for exploring the city by foot and Lastarria by night. No issues at all, great staff, good wifi and great breakfast on 8th floor with mountains and sunrise views. Did nt use the pool, or need hotel transportation , or parking.

Wonderful three night stay in Lastarria

This is an excellent hotel in an excellent part of Santiago. Many interesting restaurants right outside the hotel and the hotel itself has a lovely rooftop terrace. Convenient to everything! Hotel staff were super helpful with arranging tours, pick ups and transfers to the airport. We were super happy with our choice!

Great hotel in the Lastarria area

Cannot say anything bad about this hotel. Situated in the Lastarria area, there are dozens if restaurants/bars nearby. Its a busy area and we like that. The hotel itself is modern, staff is great, breakfast is great and room is great.

Great Hotel

My wife and I found Cumbres to be a solid hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful, facilities clean and neat. We met a guy as we were leaving who said he’d stayed there 7 years earlier and liked it so much that he wouldn’t consider anywhere else to stay. We wholeheartedly agree with him.

Loved this hotel. Great vibrant location with so much happening around the location. Dinning options abundant & walkable. Security was excellent. Staff were fabulous - so helpful. Executive lounge great. Room comfortable- only thing we didn’t like was the see through shower & toilet - was a bit uncomfortable for friends sharing the room. Really enjoyed our stay.

Great option to check in at 9am when we got off an overnight flight - small fee. This hotel is very well located in a very artistic, bustling neighbourhood. Friendly staff - organized a private tour for us. Very clean. No complaints.

I love everything about this hotel. Even though there was a misunderstanding with our payment, the hotel staff resolved it within a day. Air conditioning did not work first night but we were moved to a different room second night. The desk staff were very helpful. It was over Christmas so bar and restaurant not open.

Safe and convenient prime location in the heart of downtown area. Clean and spacious room. Nice breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Best value. Glad I chose this hotel over Crown Plaza. Although I do not care about shopping for little trinklets, it was fun to see street merchants right outside the hotel, which is lined with restaurants with open-area seating.

The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially René at the front desk. They arranged airport transfer for us, as well as a guided tour of the city. The location is great, it is walking distance to many of the highlights of the old city (museums, historical buildings) and very close to the Metro station for easy access to everything else. There are numerous good restaurants in walking distance. The neighborhood is vibrant with many street vendors. Overall a great choice.

Everything was ok

Had a dreadful check in. They had cancelled my booking ( without informing me) which was made a year before because, in the meantime my credit card expired! This can’t be the first time it’s happened. I arrive. They say it’s cancelled. They say, after I repeated asking, they have no rooms. I ask to speak to the manager ( I hate having to do that). He found me a room. Seriously?? Let’s avoid the stress and look after your customers. BUT beyond that dreadful start all good. Incredible location. The best. Nice room. Good breakfast. Pool fine but bit basic. I am staying there again next week on my way back home. So no hard feelings check in!!

This hotel is located in a trendy, clean, and fun barrio of the city. Great location to get the best of the big city, while in a local neighborhood experience.
