Clean and comfortable with friendly staff

Good breakfast and wifi, rest just ok.

Breakfast was the best part of my stay, lot of options. Wifi worked very well. They offer complimentary airport transfers. I sent multiple messages and email for weeks but no one responded. Finally, a day before by arrival I had to call them to schedule the airport pick up. Staff in general were just ok. Not very warm. There are limited quality hotel options in Bissau. This property is supposedly 5-star but did not feel so.

This was a really nice hotel, and I enjoyed my stay. The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant and really tried to help when asked. Same regarding restaurant staff. Other staff (housekeeping) might be further trained in customer service, however. I would stay here if ever I return to Bissau.

Clean convenient location. Not all staff spoke English unfortunately, our room booked for a family only had one towel cup etc. We had problems reading handwritten WiFi password, so we used our own Internet. Aside from those few things, we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Ceiba!

Loved my stay at the Ceiba. One of the best hotel I travelled to in Africa. Friendly service, very clean, beautiful pool. I would recommand.

Restaurant food is disappointing quality and lacks choice.

Hotel Ceiba is a gem. I always enjoy staying here. The staff are professional and efficient. The hotel has great breakfast option, an internet that works, and great amenities.

My family and I traveled to Guinea Bissau on the month of June 2023, we stayed at hotel ceiba. Staff were friendly and answered all our questions, hotel was great, the only thing I did not like about the hotel is that too many people from the outside that are not even a hotel guests comes in to the lobby area and take advantage of the Wi-Fi and seats on the couch and sofas, these area is specific for guests, for example there was a guy in there trying to be friendly with my family and I, he would not give us a privace that made us feel very uncomfortable, he lied to us that he was a guest, at the end I found out he was not a guest, he asked me for money, I said no way, ceiba should crack down on this situation to insure all their guests are comfortable.

Best hotel in Bissau by a long way

Beautiful hotel, definitely international standard. Beautiful room, comfy bed and incredible breakfast!

The rooms are comfortable and clean. Air conditioning work. The pool and gym are nice and clean. However, the waiters are unable to get an order correct. Every food is dosed in oil. The staff is also incapable to fulfill any task on their own. The Wi-Fi is subpar. Food and drink prices are absurdly overpriced.

Hotel Ceiba is the best place to stay in Bissau. Clean rooms, amazing staff, great food.

wiFi weak and slow in room, routers too far away. Had to sit in lobby where speed was twice as fast as in my room.

Had low expectations. But decent hotel. Probably the best choice in Bissau.

Hotel Ceiba can do better

Overall, it was an ok stay. The restaurant has very few offerings and the langage barriers made it complicated. Our orders were messed up several times because the waitstaff didn’t speak French or English. Also the policy of the hotel is to give one very small complementary bottle of water, which for the price of the hotel is nothing. The high note is the front desk staff.

Excellent services top o f the line they treated me like a king I have no complain of my stay nor the hotel.

Friendly and helpful staff at reception and in restaurant. Helped arrange a car and driver for tour of the area. Prompt and reliable airport shuttles.

Clean and provides great comfort. They give what is needed in the room except for a bottle of water. Will be nice to add that.

Hotel Ceiba Bissau was a hit for me

I really enjoyed my brief stay in this lovely, new hotel, close to the main area of the city. The reception staff were extra welcoming and helpful, including finding me an English-speaking guide to show me around the city of Bissau. The breakfast buffet offered an attractive array of tasty dishes, and the swimming pool area was inviting for an afternoon of relaxing after sightseeing. I also appreciated having the hotel's airport shuttle pick me up on arrival and return me to the airport for my departure flight.

Cool et propre

We booked a comfort double room, but we got a single room. Everything only for one person: towels, water, cap, Glas, etc. We asked for a double room but got only unfriendly comments. It took long time to get the missing things. Next day same procedure. They handled the room as a single room. Maybe we get some money back!!!! The coffee maker did not work and on top it was dirty. For such a lot of money we expect more value. 5 star - I’m laughing. They are invited to come to Europe to see and expierence 5 star quality and service. Not worth the money

Hotel com decoração sobria e elegante. Quartos que apesar de não serem grandes são agradáveis. Boa piscina. O pequeno almoço é fraquinho, necessitando maior variedade de sumos, pão e de ovos.
