Lovely central hotel with great amenities. The complimentary breakfast is amazing with so many dishes offered — and they’ll even make you an omelette to order if you ask. Large comfortable rooms with a great shower. The hotel is right across from the Cathedral and those with rooms facing that direction will have a nice view. However keep in mind that the church bells ring on occasion, so if you want a quieter room, ask for an interior room. There’s a downstairs patio/bar and a rooftop patio/bar with a swimming pool. Highly recommend!

I've stayed here 5 times and it's one of my favorite hotels in Mexico. Everything is clean, well organized, and beautiful. I love the roof terrace/pool and the central courtyard.

Weekend in La Paz

This is a great hotel very close to the malecon and a number of other restaurants and bars. The service was great, the room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast had various offerings. It is a pretty good deal for the price, and we would definitely stay there again. The rooftop pool looked nice, although we didn't get a chance to use it. There is a nice bar/lounge area by the pool, as well as in the lobby's courtyard.

Beautiful hotel directly across from the old Cathedral and walking distance to the make in and good parts of La Paz. Breakfast is fantastic.

I have stayed here many times since it first opened and would stay again however, this visit was disappointing as the wifi did not work the entire stay and I had to do my business meeting using a restaurant near by’s wifi instead. It made my stay stressful instead of relaxing.

The pillow cases should be softer material; and the wifi only works first 2 days then after only by reception area.

Wonderful property close to everything in La Paz! The staff are so accommodating, and having the restaurant in the hotel was very convenient. Loved the rooftop pool area with views and a bar!

We stayed here for 5 nights. Our stay was really good. The hotel was in amazing condition and the staff was very attentive. We will come back here for sure.

Pretty Hotel

For the amount paid wasn't happy of our window view of a dilapidated building next door. Hotel itself was well kept, and clean, breakfast was excellent every morning. Need more dairy free milks though like oat milk.

I been in la Paz several times and this is by far the best place to stay! Staff are amazing, they always make my trip feels like home. Staff are super friendly and polite and I have to mention the breakfast buffet is a 10 out of 10 every day

Great location, kind staff, delicious breakfast, only down side is the noisy curtain gate to enter or exit the parking lot after hours, we were constantly woken up by the screeching noise

Great location and friendly staff

This hotel was perfect. Staff was very nice and hotel is only a few blocks from the boardwalk/ malecon. The pool and bar on rooftop is fantastic with a great view and peeks of the sea. We wondered if we should spend more to stay closer to the water and boardwalk but so glad we decided not to. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Great place!

Hotel was very clean and offered a delicious breakfast. The underground parking was very convenient if you have a car but it’s also very close to Malecon and you can easily walk there if you don’t have a car.

Modern property with an excellent center courtyard with bar. The breakfast was substantial. The staff was very friendly, though most did not speak English (why should they?), they were very patient with my poor Spanish. Room and bathroom were extremely clean, great blackout curtains. Literally across the street from the cathedral which was beautiful. Funky min-lap pool on the roof with tables and chairs to hang out. Fun spot, if not the most luxurious in town.

The best place in La Paz

Hotel La Catedral is the perfect place to visit La Paz. The staff is amazing and they get out their way to assist you. The rooms are pretty and the amenities are very nice. The inner patio was my favorite place and I spend every morning there enjoying their great breakfast. Walking distance from El Malecon and I had the beautiful cathedral right in front of my balcony

The location of the hotel is great everything is in walking distance. The breakfast is great in the morning. Enjoy some food and drinks by pool. Just remember if you are looking for peace and quiet maybe not your place. You can hear the noise from the restaurant downstairs and the noise from the pool from your room. I would still recommend this location as long as your vehicle is not too big there is also parking available.

Located in downtown, this hotel offers and excellent place to stay and enjoy all the beautiful city of La Paz.

Charming boutique hotel, breakfast is excellent! There is a small bar and outdoor lounge area downstairs as well as upstairs by the pool. Staff is very courteous and helpful with great recommendations. This is our second stay here.

Best place to stay when traveling with partner, and don't want to rent a car. Everthing is within walking distance. Breakfast is excelente aswell.

Comfortable and Centralized

Hotel is a great option because it is central to the city. Walking distance to the main drag street and waterfront. Close to many restaurants and shops. Beautiful view from roof top lounge . Clean with basic amenities. Hotel staff are welcoming and helpful with service and hospitality and will provide info on day trips, taxi services and whatever you may need to make your vacation enjoyable. Pool is small and very busy during peak season . I felt safe staying at this hotel and this little town was overall great. Morning breakfast provided with our stay at this hotel was great as it helps start your morning adventures off on the right foot. I would stay again but if you are looking for more high end resort style amenities then I would consider looking for a club resort. The old cathedral church right in front of the hotel is a beautiful backdrop .

This hotel is very close to the malecón and other sight seeing areas. We loved our stay here. Very kid friendly. The food for breakfast was very GOOD. The views from the room were “OK” nothing special but overall very clean, nice and convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

Loved staying at Hotel Cathedral with my family. Staff was super nice. Free breakfast in the mornings. Hotel is walkable to malecon, restaurants, plaza, church, and shops. Only a 10 minute drive to Playa Corumel and about 30 minutes to Balandra which is a must. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

This hotel as it's name says is right in front of the Cathedral and everything worth seeing around la Paz is walkable from the hotel. Rooftop pool and bar are really fun for sunsets. Breakfast terrace is really cool. Clean, great staff, transportation always outside the hotel. The tuna sashimi is amazing and employees like Damian and Hector make the stay more fun! If you are coming to La Paz try this hotel for sure.
