Staff ok, room ok [just]. I ate something as part of my evening meal and was very ill for the next 24 hours. Not very pleasant when driving for 7 hours!

Convenient hotel for a stopover traveling through France good car park. Staff were friendly and helpful. Evening meal was the best I had on the whole trip through France and Spain. I would describe it more as a Motel as reception was separate from the accommodation, the rooms were basic on of an open balcony there was a shutter to cover the window for privacy.

Nice clean hotel with very pleasant and helpful reception. It has simple but comfortable amenities and is close to the highway. A good stopover, plus its not far into the centre of Clermont to explore the old city.

Very friendly staff and the food was awesome!!! Our dog had a great time too.

Overnight stay en-route

Good convenient location, clean comfortable room. Restaurant meals fairly ordinary, pity previous system of buffet starters and deserts not currently used.

Staff was very friendly, especially at check-in & check-out! The hotel is conveniently located near the highway, perfect for a road trip stop-over. The breakfast buffet is good, especially the croissants! :) I would stay here again!

Disappointed Stay

This accommodation advertises to be a hotel, but is just an average motel. Breakfast, dinner is hosted in a separate building. There are no lifts, no assistance is offered to deliver luggage to room. No room service. At breakfast coffee maker was broken, we had to wait 20 minutes for bread to be made available, ran out of scrambled eggs. It took 45 minutes after we had ordered our dinner for our dishes to arrive. Second night, our meat was not properly cooked. When voicing our complaints, All we heard was “Sorry”.

The staff were very friendly and was easy to find off the motorway.

Check in was quick and reception very friendly. The room was clean and tidy with a comfortable bed. It's an older hotel but well maintained. The breakfast was very good and worthwhile paying the extra.

Short & sweet

This was our first visit to Clermont Ferrand. Hotel was basic but comfortable & clean. Staff were also nice & the food was good in the restaurant.

Convenient for the Autoroute going South.

Our second stay in two weeks, two different rooms, could be two different hotels. This time, the room was tired, dirty carpets and smelly. The staff are great, the food ok, the restaurant quite attractive and access isn't bad, it's very convenient if you're heading south but it doesn't compare with Campanile Or Mans Gare SNCF or Ales.

dirty!!!

I have no idea why this hotel has such a high rating... For me the most important thing about a hotel room is cleanliness and our room wasn't clean at all, what is more when we got there we found a COCKROACH on our bed and a second one on a wall!!! I think this says enough... We requested a room change which was given to us. There were no roaches in the new room but I would certainly not call it clean. After the experience from the first room my wife wasn't able to sleep at all as she was afraid that there will be bugs. Also the outside of the hotel was dark I needed to use flashlight to be able to get to my room. Never again!

Good hotel for an overnight stop on way to Spain

Superb room, friendly staff who speak excellent English. Restaurant is very good in terms of value and quality. We will stay there again.

Decent no-frills hotel

The hotel is a standard Ibis budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The room was the standard Ibis budget no-frills room with a good bed and decent shower. Breakfast was reasonable although the dining area is bijou so wouldn't like to be there at a busy time. The hotel is handy for the local tram system into the city centre - the team stop is about a five minute walk and a return ticket costs 3 euro. Also the hotel is reasonably handy for the autoroute.

Good place to stay near Clermont-Ferrand

Everything was fine, really. If you want a dinner and don't want to drive, I would really recommend the hotel restaurant. Food is high quality and reasonably priced.

Lovely room, quite spacious, fab bathroom. Quite location. 5 mins from motorway, easy to find. Only negative Very exspensive restaurant, 2 burger and chips, 3 lagers over 35€ twice the price of the room.

Great driving break.

Arrived late, about 23:30, got handed our room cards straight away and told when breakfast was. Rooms were modern and spotlessly clean. Wifi worked well. Breakfast in the morning was basic but very tasty and well worth the price. Before setting off for Calais, had a quick look around Clermont-Ferrand town centre, which being a Sunday morning was pretty sleepy, but it seemed like a nice place. All in all, a great value hotel, in a very convenient and easy to drive to location. Definitely recommended.

A stay for one night whilst travelling and we found the hotel in A1 order. New refurbished and good aircon. Pity the new beds squeak. The older type didn't. Food good staff helpful and friendly, We enjoyed the stay and would book again

Comfortable beds, clean room, lovely big shower cubicle. As always, Campanile 'does what it says on the tin!'. Usual soul-less location, but convenient for the autoroute.

Great overnight stay.

We had no expectations of this hotel, just a bed for the night on our way south, but it was wonderful. Super friendly and helpful staff, lovely room, well designed and furnished, very modern and tea/coffee making in room -you never get that in France.Also a sort of balcony with a view of the mountains. An unexpected treat and probably the best budget hotel I have ever stayed in.

Refurbished hotel, very nice and quiet.

Hotel had been refurbished 1 week prior to our stay, so everything was shiny new and clean. Hotel staff very helpful. Super breakfast. Location slightly out of town, and not a great walk to the centre. definitely recommend this hotel

Very helpful staff

We enjoyed an overnight stop at the hotel, which has recently had a complete refurbishment. Apart from the need to move room because of a faulty light switch in our room (the light wouldn't stay on) everything else was fine - a very comfy bed, clean room, excellent buffet breakfast and free, easy-to-use WiFi.

I went there expecting a 3 star hotel and it is what I would describe as a 2 star. Staff were very nice though. It was disappointing but certainly not awful.

Déplacement pour les 90ans de la traction avant Citroen : problème sur la route, donc arrivée tardive mais aucun souci pour se procurer la clé et l’emplacement de la chambre : très appréciable lorsqu’on arrive vers les 2 heures du matin 😂😂😂

Accueil très sympas mais lors du départ, la personne pas du tout accueillant et non commerçants !!! Dommage cela fait 3 fois que je viens pour le travail cela remets en doute mes prochains déplacements dans cet établissement !

De passage pour une nuit seulement, confort du lit ok, propreté de la chambre et de la salle de bain ok. Personnel très agréable. J’adore les petits déjeuner du campanile et là encore nous n’avons pas été déçus ! Top ! 3 petits points qui pourraient améliorer l’expérience : - un petit frigo dans la chambre, notamment pour tenir au frais les bons produits du coin avant de rentrer à la maison. - un distributeur de boissons, en pleine canicule on peut dire que cela est regrettable de ne pas avoir accès à des boissons fraîches 24h/24; heureusement pour nous l’accueil était entrain de fermer et nous avons pu acheter une bouteille d’eau ! Merci d’ailleurs à l’employé qui malgré sa caisse fermée nous a bien dépannés ! - pas d’assise à l’extérieur pourtant il y a de la place pour mettre quelques bancs ou chaises, même une petite terrasse pour le petit déjeuner.

C’est la troisième fois que nous séjournons ds cet hôtel( ns l’avions par hasard la première fois): l’accueil est tjs très agréable, la chambre impeccable et le restaurant propose des plats sympa et gourmand.

Cette hôtel n'est pas du tout reposant. Chambre refaite mais vieillotte, literie inconfortable, climatisation très bruyante et parking très petit. Accueil désagréable. Tout pour ne pas se reposer.

Bon séjour dans cet hôtel dans lequel je ne m'étais jamais rendu. Bonne accueil. Bonne restauration, malgré l'attente au service en salle.

Hôtel ok, moquette au sol bof.

Hôtel confortable, chambres dans un bâtiment différent du bâtiment principal avec la réception et les repas (il fait donc sortir dehors). Personnellement je n’aime pas du tout les chambres avec de la moquette au sol, pas très hygiénique notamment lorsque la chambre donne directement sur l’extérieur. Mais à part cela, la chambre était propre.

Dommage que vous n’ayez pas de borne de recharge pour les voitures ou tout simplement des prises de courant ! Repas du soir pas top malheureusement. Climatisation de la chambre insupportable tellement elle est bruyante !!!! Changer la!! Le reste est super , accueil chaleureux avec une excellente ambiance grâce au personnel attentif et très souriant. Petit déjeuner très bon avec d’excellents produits du terroir. JE CONSEIL VIVEMENT VOTRE HÔTEL !!!

Hotel tres calme , propre avec une belle salle de restauration

Des bruits de canalisations incessants toutes les 10 mn jour et nuit en provenance de la salle de bain. Et l eau de la douche qui vacille entre super chaud et super froid en 1/4 de secondes. Pas superbe expérience donc. Sans compter les énormes 4/4 qui se permettent de se garer à l entrée du parking de l hôtel et qui empêche les autre véhicules de se garer sur ce parking. Hôtel à ne conseiller donc que pour une nuit de transit

Personnel très bien. Climatisation identique à 24 ou 16 degrés, ne marchait pas bien, tuyau de douche cassé, douche bouchée, oreiller catastrophique, volets roulants n’ occultent pas la lumière, restaurant bien. Ne vaut pas 3 étoiles. Ça ne vaut pas 115 euros la nuit.

Chambre trop petite pour trois!

Nous étions avec notre petit fils, 6 ans, dans la chambre. celle-ci est devenue très petite à trois!! Pas de place pour circuler, plus de table!

Très bon accueil de tout le personnel tant a l'accueil qu'au restaurant. Les chambres sont propres et pratiques et la literie est parfaite. Seul bémol (mais l'hôtel n'y est pour rien) c'est l'extérieur car l'hôtel donne sur une route très passante et se situe dans une zone industrielle. Pour autant nous avons très bien dormi car les chambres sont bien isolées. En contre partie, l'hôtel étant excentré c'est un excellent point de départ pour rejoindre les belles balades de la route des volcans. Nous recommandons cet hôtel et nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

La Maison est bonne on y reviendra.
