Excellent hotel in the heart of Burgas! High quality of service! Thank you very much for another wonderful stay at my favorite hotel in Burgas!

Perfect from start to finish. A modern, clean hotel with every facility you could need. Check in was quick & efficient, the lifts worked perfectly. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, the bathroom had a large walk in shower, water was lovely and hot and although we didn't use them, bath robes and slippers were provided. The towels were fluffy and soft. Tea & coffee provided free of charge and a well stocked mini bar (chargeable) The TV had a wide variety of channels and also provided information on all the facilities in the hotel. Hotel Bulgaria is perfectly situated for shops, bars and restaurants which are all within easy walking distance. The buffet breakfast was fantastic and plentiful with every option you could ask for. The dining room is large and spacious and beautifully decorated and the staff are very attentive. Our only small 'niggle' was car parking spaces, we were very lucky and managed to get a space at the front of the hotel but friends had to park on the street nearby and pay for their stay. All in all though, an excellent hotel and more than worthy of it's 4 star rating! Would we stay again? Most definitely - we'll be back!

It was a very convenient location. Reserved parking and coming in and out with the vehicle was no trouble at all. I thank the wonderful staff for their service. The hotel itself was clean, spacious, quiet and great views. The hotel also had a well equipped gym. The only thing I would mention is that at night the WIFI tends to get overwhelmed and stops/runs slow.

The parking is not included. You have to pay extra money to park your car.

Wonderful hotel

Nice, central location. All staff were very helpful and polite. Our room was cozy in 10th floor and had super homfortable bed. We really liked breakfast with lot of choices. Also sauna and jacuzzi was very relaxing at the end of the day.

It was an OK stay.

Overall it was fine with a few things to be desired. The room cleaners only changed towels the first night. The second cleaning they left us with no toilet paper. It doesn’t seem that they did any cleaning at all. The problem with the toilet paper was remediated promptly after notifying the front desk. There’s a spa on the premises with only 1 person (male) doing massages. My daughter and I opted not to use that. The breakfast was OK…..nothing to write home about.

The hotel has been renovated a nd upgrated. We liked the room size the cleanliness and the breakfast which was included. The location is excellent near restaurants and shops and a walking distance to the sea garden and the beaches. Personel needs additional training in being pleasant and oferring help to the customers. Sometimes we felt that they were bothered if we ask for something.

Hotel is in good location, extremely clean rooms.Just breakfast wasn't good.Fruits bad quality, no vegetables and this was August. Except food other was good.

Location is central, close to bus station, sea gardens and sea itself. Hotel seemed clean. The only let down was customer service which was non-existent practically.

Charge me more money for the second night.

I purchased the room for $130 for and requested for a second night. The guy at the front desk made my reservation and charge me more money for the second night and didnt tell me. The price shouldnt have never change if i ask for additional night.

Overall great place to stay in Bourgas.

This hotel was lovely, good size rooms, very comfy beds and the spa was great. breakfast was very hit and miss, our first day was excellent but the last day everything was stale! also, I emailed in advance to ask if they provided soya milk, and they replied yes. However there was only almond milk as a dairy alternative. Vegetarians beware - very little for you in Burgas! Still, overall a great stay

A great stay!

A great hotel with great facilities and friendly staff! It is very central to everything you require - shops, restaurants, beach, train/bus stations. It's like staying on a ship as you really do not need to leave the hotel as it has all the facilities!

Excellent hotel but some staff training required

Beautiful hotel, excellent location for railway station, the Sea Garden and Burgas generally. Our room on a high floor gave excellent views over Burgas and the Black Sea and was spacious, clean, very comfortable and excellent value for money. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the surly unfriendly waiting staff at breakfast. They don’t look as if they enjoy their work and couldn’t wait to close the breakfast area quick enough. Reception staff were friendly and helpful however.

very nice, newly remodeled, clean hotel. Perfect location, rich and tasty breakfast, spa, swimming pull and other nice amenities. The room, bed and bathroom were spotless, 10/10. But, when I arrived there was no room for my car. I was told to park elsewhere because the parking lot was full. I explained that the one of the reasons I booked with them was stated parking (paid) availability. The answer was "we have parking, but it is full", meaning that they actually have a very LIMITED parking, which should be clearly stated on their website (and on Hotels.com). When traveling by car, my absolute condition is that the hotel has parking, free or paid. At the end, after intervention of our local friend, the person in charge of parking lot found a spot (I was driving Mini) and the problem was solved. I was happy with my stay at that hotel.

That was the first time we stayed at Bulgaria Hotel after the renovation, and I am impressed with the current condition of the hotel. We enjoyed the room, casino, and the breakfast. We parked our car fifty meters away the hotel on the street (there is a parking charge between 8 AM till 7 PM in workdays) and walked. Certainly, the best option in Burgas.

The hotel is renovated. But it is big and the parking is small and not enough for all guests. It is hotel’s parking, but is paid. The rooms are clean, comfort and in good condition. But the restaurant service is late socialism. The waiters are rude, not smiling, not kind. The restaurant where the breakfast is, is closing while people are still eating and drinking coffee. Very very far away from four stars service.

Unfortunately, this property failed on just about every level. First of all, I was traveling for work and was unable to do my job due to the lack of wifi at the hotel. They advertise free wifi in all rooms, but the hotel doesn't have wifi at all, not even in common areas. This is a huge issue and blatant false advertising. The worst part, however, was the fact that the room was INFESTED with bugs. Every corner of the room was crawling with bugs and I spent hours just trying to kill them. I attempted to discuss these issues with the staff multiple times and was promptly yelled at and hung up on repeatedly. The hotel is also used by prostitutes in the area, as I saw them multiple times on my floor taking various people into rooms, followed by loud sex noises throughout the night, which unfortunately kept me awake because of the thin walls. Overall, the hotel completely falls flat on every front. The staff are terrible, rude, and just mean people in general. The rooms are infested and dirty, and they make all kinds of false claims on the website that are not in fact true. The property feels very unsafe, in part because the rooms don't have any locks on the doors, which I find absolutely flabbergasting. Don't let the pictures fool you into staying here. There's a reason it costs so little. Spend a few extra bucks and stay at one of the real hotels just a few blocks away.

I stayed in 10 different hotels all over Europe on this trip. France, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey and Austria. This was the best hotel I have stayed at. Absolutely perfect in every way. 10/10 in every way. Bathrooms are stunning, Bed is most comfortable I've ever slept in. The rooms reminded me of the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. I'd stayed at this hotel prior to the renovation - it is much nicer post renovation. The room was small but clean and comfortable when we checked in. One member of the front desk staff was rather rude when we asked about where we could park. Keep it clean was another matter. On our two night stay, we asked after the first night to have our room made up when we left in the morning. Returning after lunch, the room had not been cleaned. The front desk apologized and said they would to have it cleaned. Returning in the evening before it had still not been cleaned so we asked again. After dinner it had still not been cleaned and we had no towels. I went down to the front desk for the 4th time and this time they gave me two clean towels. Our room was never cleaned. I can understand failing to clean the room after asking once - this happens sometimes. But after 4 times is a bit ridiculous. The phones in the room don't actually work to call the front desk, so each time we asked to have the room cleaned we had to walk down to the front desk. I would stay here again if I absolutely needed to, but just adjust my expectations down appropriately.

Solo trip

I had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. The room had beautiful views of Burgas and hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable with a rich breakfast menu. The spa and the pool are the cherry on top. It feels great after a long day of exploring the city to come and relax in the spa. Highly recommended!

This hotel is recently renovated and located in the center of the city convenient to the Municipality offices and a short walk to the Black Sea. The facilities are excellent, the restaurant is very good and has a top-of-the line breakfast with prepared buffet and a cook to fix your breakfast to order. Highly recommended.

Perfect for a short business trip

I stayed here for a short, one night stay for work. I was late checking in, so went straight to the restaurant. Prices here were quite reasonable, and the food was decent. The room was clean, well presented, and the bed was comfortable. Overall I was very pleased with the hotel for the price paid.

Everything was perfect, the hotel is freshly renovated and very comfortable, there is everything you could need. The staff were extremely helpful as I forgot my iPhone charger back home and the lady at the reception have me her own for couple of hours. Breakfast was also great - due to Covid was served in the room.

Beat hotel for miles

I feel like this hotel has been recently renovated as it’s very clean, modern and sleek. It looks old fashioned from the outside so when it’s all lit up at night and looks like the hippest place in town you know you’re arrived. Location is great, breakfast buffet has nice selection. Nothing to fault.

For some reason they don't allow late checkout. If you need a few more hours after checkout time, they just don't allow this, even when I offered to pay. Otherwise, it's a nice hotel.

Located in the heart of Burgas but just 5 minutes walk from south bus and main rail station. This hotel has been extensively refurbished and finishing touches are being put to lobby area. Service was friendly and professional, Room was 5star with good air con, bathroom, amenities, mega comfortable bed and great views of city. Breakfast was best i had in Bulgaria in big spacious restaurant on M level.. extensive selection of fresh local and international buffet...

Hotel and room were very dated but functional. There was one very nice housekeeping lady but other than that, no smiles or other friendly mannerisms... Great view from my 9th floor room but my room didn’t look at all like advertised. Felt like the hotel was from Soviet times.
