Rooms were very dusty, spider on the ceiling/cob webs. Lavatory fan extractor covered in dust. The AC rooms - not very cold. - be aware as not all rooms have AC, only the 1 fan will be provided. Noisy streets - from the trams. The rooms doors also slamming very loud. The breakfast was below average.
They claim to have parking, but when we got there we find out that they only have 5 spots for the entire hotel (116 rooms). Of course those were taken already. All parking garages in the area were full also. Therefore we had to pay for expensive street parking (40 EUR for 24 hours). Also they claim to have laundry facilities, which is incorrect. We spent half day in a laundromat to get our clothes washed. The hotel is located on a busy road and we had a hard time sleeping. The king bed was really big and comfy though.
Prague business trip
Hotel is well positioned, good breakfast, clean, rooms nice, staff friendly but internet is very poor.
Uncomfortable
My room was the other side of a busy road from the main hotel building — and thus also breakfast. My room was also uncomfortably warm (enough to keep me awake) despite leaving the curtains closed during the day to keep it shaded. There was no air conditioning, just a fan. Most of one wall was glass (windows and door) and the only privacy screening was net curtain or light-blocking curtain. The large windows opened onto a walkway and couldn't be secured (while open) to reduce the risk of an intruder climbing in. With the curtains closed for privacy, any cooling effect from opening the windows was minimal. The pillows were massive and lumpy.
The breakfast was lovely and the cleanliness was exceptional. Only issue was the air condition had a glitch in the middle of our last night which made it uncomfortable to sleep. Other than that, it was a nice stay.
Very classy and simply nice. The breakfast room is a real theater, and the breakfast itself was outstandingly delicious
Brilliant stay at Ariston
Briliant hotel for the modest price we paid. We were lucky to have a very large room number 8 for my wife and my small daughter. It has all the features of a 4 star hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. It easy to go around as well as a lot of trams are passing just in front of the hotel and at the back of the hotel if you walk for 3-4 minutes you can get all the busses to the center, nemesti republic and even charles bridge. It is the fourth time we are visiting Prague and definitely from now on this hotel will be our first priority in case we visit again and the price is prefect.
The hotel is at a good location and the tram lines are just outside. The breakfast spread is pretty nice and had wide range of options. The room was clean and nicely prepared. We requested an early check-in as we travelled from outside of Prague and arrived very early and we got it promptly. One thing I had tried to check was decoration of my room prior to arrival and I was not able to get a proper response for this
Amazing property, great staff but room a bit too loud from street side and no air conditioning in the room . Not enough sockets in the room, and if some sockets were found they were in very difficult place
The Hotel Ariston has two buildings which are directly across the street and a major road with light rail passing up and down the street. A great feature is the free 50 item buffet breakfast which is included in the price.
The breakfast was great. The fact we were put in the old\Patio part of the hotel meant NO A/C. Since the one side of the room was exposed to the outside were anyone could walk by we didn’t open the window at night. There is a fan in the room but that just moves around the hot air in June. The tub was a bit high for a short person to climb in and out. The room size was a little small but average for Europe. There was a grocery store a block away. Transportation was easily accessible.
It is centrally located to city center and old town square.
Nice breakfest restaurant.
Great hotel in Prague
Great hotel, have stayed many times and will do again.
Loved the breakfast. Staff I encountered were excellent
Great hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ariston. All in all, with the unforeseen circumstances at the time that we stayed, it was a great hotel to stay at. So clean, great atmosphere and the lovely breakfast. Shall definitely return again, 100% will come back when all this Corona business blows over. I sincerely hope that all staff at the Ariston continue to be positive and hope to meet once again in the near future. Many thanks.
Ariston Patio was a nice. All went smoothly and service was good. Room was clean and very warm (visited Feb).
Really clean throughout! Cosy warm rooms within walking distance of the old town!
Good location with decent size room. Not enough choice of tea and no English breakfast tea
Horrible service - Rude and impolite personnel
Horrible service and hidden prices. Employees didn’t even reply a simple “Good Morning”.
Simple cozy stay
Nice place with good location, easy to go around. Nice staff and quick service too
Room was below expectation u see something on the pictures butvin reality its looks different. No slippers and ground not clean, room service they just do the bed and new towels and thats it.
The hotel was clean and staff helpful. We stayed in the patio hotel which was across the road from the main hotel. We had to cross the road to have breakfast which wasn’t a big problem. Would recommend it.
Uncomfortable, hot and dated room. No air con and the only windows were facing out onto the outdoor corridor, behind heavy blackout curtains and were too big to leave open (there was no “half-open” setting). On the other hand, the bath was large and the hotel was well located.
Good location only issue parking only 6 spaces between the two hotels so make sure you book which sadly I didn’t
Good
The hotel is clean and staff are helpful. The hotel is a little bit out of the way from central Prague. But trams run regular and staff are happy to help with the tram numbers you need.
The hotel was nice. The greatest part however, was the incredible breakfast buffet. They had a huge selection of food, great value for the money!
Close to attractions and cleanliness, good breakfast
Great location very close to public transport. Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable room.
One of the Best breakfast we’ve ever had at any hotel
Staff was pleasant. No air conditioning, which generally is not a problem in Sept; so it was a bit warm in the room. We were facing the busy street so leaving the window open was not an option. Great Breakfast available. Easy walk to Tram station to get to Old Town Squate and other places of interest! Grocery ATM, restaurants all nearby hotel. Some only accept cash!!!
スタッフの対応や朝ごはんは良かった。 建物が古く、暗い。コンセントが少ない。
Front desk is friendly and customer service is great.
Definitely stay here again
Within walking distance to all places of interests. Friendly and helpful staff; very clean and the breakfast was very good
One stop from main train station. Great tram lines connect to everything in Prague. Sort of in the middle but out of congested areas.
the architecture and yhe placemnt of the rooms along the balcony making you feel free and imprisoned in a room..the breakfast witin the price has high quality. Peaceful hotel where you stay with serenity and safety. cant find words to define..found more than I expected. Thanks a lot.
Friendly staff Lovely breakfast with lots of choices Easy access to town centre through public transport (Tram series) with in 6min.
The hotel is secure and clean but the rooms doesn't have air conditioning and the toilets doesn't have ventilation. The staff isn't so welcoming.
everything was super good. The room was perfect and it was always cleaned up perfectly
Great location
Great Value
No air conditioning breakfast was good. Staff cleaned rooms nice promptly
Great stay
The hotel provided our transfers which were hassle free and convenient. The late afternoon tea trolley was such a wonderful gesture. Food at breakfast was always fresh and well prepared. The staff were very helpful!
Good location older hotel needs renovation no air conditioners it was hot and muggy inside the room at least could open windows for fresh air friendly staff
The building was nice and the guest services gentlemen’s was really helpful. The breakfast was a nice addition. The only down side was thar it was extremely warm while we were there and there wasn’t air conditioning. They did provide a fab which was helpful. We would go back!
90% recommend for stay
Everythings are great excluded the in-room lighting is very dark.
Liked the period features of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. Location very good with regular tram services only 200 metres from the hotel.
Fair price for central Prague in Summer! Tram stop 200 yards.
Good place for the money
Overall, a very nice hostel. Clean, good location and an AWESOME rooftop patio/Kong’s with drinks and music. Friendly, multilingual staff that spoke English, French, Spanish, etc
Very happy with my stay, good location and it had a great breakfast. I emailed the hotel with my flight info they had us picked up at the airport, it worked well and I am happy with that but I would have liked an email back from them to confirm the ride so I would not have been concerned "if" or "if not" the ride had been arranged.
Nice choice
Clean, comfortable, walkable distance from a bus stop
I had reserved a big room, which I found a bit smelly and old with no fans or AC, then I requested an upgrade for a better one, the new room was really nice and clean but I had to pay €10 more per night.
Stuffy Room
Our room overlooked street with trams & traffic. There was no air conditioning & we found the room stuffy, which required us to open the window. This allowed smog to enter, & much noise from street. We had some difficulty with shower head, but no maintenance avail. maybe because of Easter long weekend.
Great hotel. Staff were very helpful. Room was good.
Great price and value , the Location is not far from the City , the price is very good for what you get. nothing else to mention.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The man at Guest Services spent a lot of time with me choosing a walking tour and helping me sort out tickets for a sporting event in another city. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and the breakfast buffet had a lot to choose from.
The hotel has a nice lobby. The rooms are decently sized. We got a deluxe room, and it was very modern and clean. The breakfast is a buffet style and has a good variety and was set up in a very nice room that looks like a theater. The front desk staff is very friendly and provides a lot of information about the city. The main train station is about a 15 minute walk, or about 3 minutes on tram, which has a station just down the street from the hotel. Having the tram close by makes it very easy to travel around the city.
Safe Broke before I got there and when I told them they did not come to fix it. Light bulb went out and when I told them they did not come to fix it.
Great hotel near the tram stop. Sufficient space and comfortable room.
Nice hotel, terrible air freshener in room.
The service was friendly and helpful, breakfast was huge and delicious, and the overall hotel was nice, with a grand old world charm for an inexpensive place. Our room was located across in the patio building, with a door opening to the outside, not a hallway. The room was fine, except for the horrible air freshener that, presumably, was intended to cover a mildew smell. It was bad. We tried to open the door and windows to air it out, but that was tough in January. The room was otherwise very clean, but the air freshener/cleaning product small was so bad it gave us headaches, and lingered in all our clothes and luggage, meaning we had to launder everything at our next stop. The local area was a little sketchy (graffiti, litter, etc) at night and when things are all closed on New Year's Day, but close to transport and convenient, and came alive a little more when all the businesses reopened. We didn't mind the neighborhood, since it was so easy to get into the city center and the train station. Out of a month-long trip around Europe in the same budget-level hotels, this was the only hotel we had any problem with, and it would have been fine without the stinky room. The lobby and reception staff were just lovely, and breakfast was tasty with a LOT of options.
A good walk from the Old Town (around 25 minutes) but perfect if you’re attending Palac Akropolis (as we were).
Superb value for money. Spotlessly clean and everything you could need in a city break hotel. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Prague.
Where do I start, it just ruined the whole experience.
I requested a quiet room in the main hotel as I am in recovery from a heart op. We had a room on the 5th floor at the rear overlooking the east of the city. You could hear a pin drop, a very restful break.
There was no telephone service, apparently in the entire floor. The first three days of my stay nobody came to clean the room
Lovely Hotel
This was my 3rd stay at this hotel and this time was disappointed I requested when booking 6 months ago a quiet room away from road/tram line, this was also repeated when the hotel sent a pre-check in questionnaire a few days before staying Was given a room in the building opposite on floor 1 right on top on the tram line so didn’t get much sleep and getting across the road for breakfast was a challenge in the morning as it’s a busy road Was also given a twin room and not a double as booked Overall the hotel is clean, the breakfast is nice with lots of choice, the WiFi is good The room has a mini bar and kettle with tea/coffee but no milk and beds are comfy
Breakfast in a theater
The hotel was old nut clean. The area was not very close to the old Town but accessible by tram. The breakfast area was amazing as it was in very big theatre.
Very clean and helpful staff. Good breakfast
Good location on transport route with good amenities nearby.
This is our second visit to this hotel. We stayed at the Ariston the first time and was in a patio room this time. Our friends' room faced the street and they were complaining about the noise at night.Ours faced the patio and it wasn't too bad. The room is very clean, comfortable, and efficient. The breakfast is really good, always the same every day. The tram is easy to get to,3 blocks away. We have never had any problems.
Lovely
Accomodation not that far. Just a quick 15 min walk from stare miasto. Breakfast was tasty. Room very comfortable. Good value for money.
My room was in the back and had a beautiful view and was quiet. The included breakfast was very good and plentiful. I didn’t have much interaction with staff. The subway was a ten minute walk in either direction.
Not a 4 star hotel
Night staff unhelpful. Said manager will be in knowing it was a public holiday. All special room requests ignored. Breakfast best part of hotel experience
Nice hotel 👌👌👌 in good and quiet location. Also nice breakfast.
Good hotel
Good hotel the breakfast was really good. The only annoying thing was that the shower didn’t have a holder so you had to hold it over your head other than that everything was great!
Good choice.
Very good choice. The room was comfortable, clean, quiet. The breakfast buffet was very generous. So why didn't I give it a 5? Some small items: the bathroom has no useful shelf space for one's personal toiletries. There is a daily charge for the in-room safe: I find this unacceptable. I understand charging for consumables (i.e., the mini bar) but to charge to use a fixed feature of the room is not reasonable. The neighborhood (Zizska) has necessary services and good tram lines to get into town, but in and of itself has nothing to attract the traveler. Our air conditioner was somewhat inconsistent. But these are all relatively minor complaints. Overall, I think this was a good hotel.
The hotel was nice and check in and out were easy. The room was hot and the only way to get ventilation was with windows on the ceiling which made it difficult. Other than that the location was ok, about a mile walk to old town.
Rooms Very Hot But a Pleasant Hotel
Good hotel, good location however Prague does get hot in the summer and the room did not cool down. The fan only worked on settings one and two and needed to work on three to attempt to try and cool the place down. They also need to provide accessible sockets for charges and laptops. Apart from that, the room was very good and clean and the breakfast in the theater was something else. Great orange juice but the ladies clearing your plates need to be told to clear the plates once you have finished and not before! We did stay in the patio opposite the main hotel and it can be frustrating waiting to cross the road. I would certainly stay here again but probably outside of the height of the Czech summer.
Three Night Stay
A very good stay on the whole. Hotel quite close to main attractions. Lots of shops and casual eating close by. Nice and clean. Good breakfast. Service was fine. The only problem was the heat in Prague. Most rooms don't have AC so we switched rooms. Would be happy to stay there again.
hotel is so so, breakfast was ordinary
so so
Pretty good
At some point, the hotel ran out of bottled water, which I found to be quite strange. There was also no garbage can in the room (except for the tiny one in the bathroom), which can lead to a lot of trash accumulating throughout your stay, especially if you're opting to not have the maid service come in everyday. Overall, pretty good place.
Not able to move to another room so kids slept on our air conditioned floor. Had two rooms reserved. Couldn't cancel our last night either tried on check in. cost extra fir air was never told that when booked room. So had to pay in euros not Czech money extra on bill. Booked two rooms at same time not sure why one had air other didn't. Not even same floor Got air last night for second room Breakfast was good. Close to main train station and close to bus line
Good value, but only decent location.
This was a pretty good hotel. The location was ok, there was not a lot to do in Prague besides the castle and downtown. I liked he hotel and it was clean and well kept. They sent me an email asking if I wanted wine, champagne or flowers in the room when I arrived. I purchased all three, but the champagne and wine were poor quality, the flowers were worth it. The AC worked great, I would stay here again if I liked the city of Prague enough to return. (I didnt)
Good value hotel in a nice area of the city
This was a decent hotel in a fairly central area, close to the train station. There is a tram stop just outside the hotel with regular trams into the city centre. The hotel though basic, was quiet, well maintained and clean. A buffet breakfast was included in the price and had a good selection of options on the menu. The room was fairly quiet and clean. Towels were changed everyday. We could just hear the passing trams at night which were no problem but I think a room on the main street would have been much louder. There was a fan in the room but no air con so it was a little hot during our stay. Overall a good hotel for the money. I don't think it is a 4 star hotel as advertised but certainly a good 3 star. I would recommend this to friends and would like to return again in the future.
The hotel, staff and breakfast were excellent BUT THE ROOM WAS EXCEPTIONALLY HOT. The promotion states there is air conditioning, but there is NOT. Only a fan - everyone was complaining that the rooms in the Patio were too hot.
Nice affordable hotel i
Definitely not a 4 star as promoted but modest mostly 2 star, very clean with great staff Good breakfast, relatively close to old town
Nice location, nice neighborhood.
Nice location, easy to Trams for Prague center, & to take bus or train day trips.
Staff is super nice and freindly,
Good stay
Generally it was a good stay, not far from Old Town Square and other tourist sites. Outside the hotel are convenient shops and restaurants. Tram service just outside the hotel. Some issues to highlight, our room has no main bedroom light. Only 2 lamps so can be dark if you want the room to be a bit brighter if you are reading or doing something that requires a well lit room. The sockets in the room requires looking at. I’d still recommend just those issues but I suppose others may see these as minor.
Awesome !
It was amazing !
Excellent place
The hotel was brilliant. Tram stop just down the road and town centre three stop away. And just literally a few steps from the hotel door was a lovely bar with the loveliest bar lady. Highly recommend this hotel and Prague is a beautiful place.
Good but still need improvements
Good place with breakfast included. The room is spacious and clean. If there are one more trash bin and paper towel in the room, it would be more great.
Very good value for money. Nice, spacious room in annexe. Average neighborhood with good access to public transport. Nice breakfast. Good WiFi. Would go back.
Proper hotel service + breakfast, horrible wifi
The hotel service is what you would expect from a proper hotel. The buffet breakfast was really good and included everything you'd need, from sausages, scrambled eggs, beans to yogurt etc. The location was also convenient. However my biggest gripe was the wifi: You would hardly expect that in 2018 the wifi would be still as slow as about 200-300 KB per second! It's just simply unusable and I had to actually use my phone's hotspot when I needed to browse the web, which is unbelievable for a hotel of this price. When I complained to the front desk he just simply shrugged and said: "Well it's a public wifi anyways, what do you expect". That attitude was also horrible. A plug in the room was also non-functional and we had to charge some devices in the toilet, which resulted in an accidental drop damage. So a mixed experience for us in general.
The room is very big. The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from the station. The staff is very nice.
Dec 2017
Clean comfortable and three tram stop from centre Great budget hotel
close to the place I needed to be
very dim light in the hotel room where I was, asked for a lamp but there was apparently no possibility to loan one.
Brilliant for the price
Bargain price for a 4 star hotel (£35.66 per night for the room) so cannot grumble! This included a cooked breakfast. Hotel clean, service good, room reasonable. Would stay here again. Tram stop two minute walk down the road, ten minutes to Wenceslas Square (no.9 tram). After Midnight the 95 and 98 trams bring you back.
well situated hotel only a mile out of town
in a nice position plenty of places to eat and bars for a few beers would use again three stops from centre of town

Lovely staff that allowed us to check in early.
