Perfect budget hotel for business aray

Great stay, as usual, in Hotel Aria. The perfect business stay in Frankfurt. Front staff very friendly and supportive!

Small hotel, great comfort in heart of Frankfurt

A nice hotel with perfect location in the heart if Frankfurt with excellent staff and service.

easy access to centre no coffee/tea facilities in room no kettle

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our non-smoking room smelled of stale smoke so we ended up with our window open in 32 degree weather. Location was good...easy 20 minute walk to Christmas market and Romer area. Very quiet...we had to ask if we were the only guests since we never heard anyone.

Very conveniently located next to the train stop straight into town. Nice room with view and double glazed windows so no outside noise could be heard.

poor hotel

arrived to find that they only had a singe room left, I showed my booking confirmation, and it clearly stated 'a double room'. was advised no other rooms free. was hot over this weekend, and the room given had no air con... in the details when booking hotel it stated air con in rooms. I asked for a fan, but again none arrived. The room towards the front of the hotel, so noisy for people walking past and of course the trams. Had to have window open , re no air con, so was really noisy, and what with the heat, had trouble getting to sleep. had a car rental, so could get to places needed to go to while staying in Germany, but very limited places to park. The final night was over 10 minutes walk away where I found a parking area without car permits needed. Be careful, as when I left on the Monday at 8.30 a number of cars had tickets on them issued after 7am

Bargain hotel with bargain comfort

This is a basic hotel with older beds and a noisy elevator that shakes the rooms. While inexpensive, there are basic things that would have made the stay significantly better: newer and more comfortable pillows / mattresses, a clean area-rug to cover the frigid floors, and dampening the noise from the elevator motor so it doesn't make a loud knocking noise whenever in use (it woke me up with the sound of almost-hammering on my ceiling). Overall, given the cost and general friendliness of the man at the front-desk, I would consider staying there again, but would look for options with more comfortable beds and better regard for the comfort of their guests.

Nice place to rest for the n

Pretty nice location, right on the tram line, easy to get to the main ziel and Xmas markets. Walls are a bit thin, so neighbor noise is noticeable. Overall decor is outdated, but for the money, nice place to rest your head for the night.

Needs new mattresses - you can feel the wire frames. Shower set up was unusual - room shouldn't be rented to anyone with mobility issues.

Good for a quick cheap night!

Service was great, bed comfortable! They need air conditioning though as we had to sleep with the window open and the tram at the door step was a little noisy!

Close to the Altstadt/center city.

I stayed in a pleasant double room. It was small but comfortable and clean. Breakfast was an additional charge and not worth the price. Convenient to public transportation.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff on reception. The room was large and light. The area is smart, with lots of nice cafes, restaurants and ice cream shops. It's right next to the U Bahn stop and only a few minutes walk to the city centre.

Nice hotel, skip the breakfast

The hotel staff was helpful and the hotel is located right next to a tram stop, making getting around the city very easy. My only negative was that the breakfast was lacking. Just a small spread of meats and cheese and no hard boiled eggs or anything beyond the absolute bare minimum.

excellent and convenient location

good small hotel for lesser room rate but during the Messe (fair) season the room charges are way to high. Hopefully the matraces wiil be replaced soon...

Visiting the Frankfurt MuseumFest 2014

Once we got off the flight from London, we called the Hotel and a lovely man called Moussa answered. I asked if he spoke english and he said 'yes' and gave me some excellent directions and journey plan to get to the Hotel with ease. We managed to get public transport to the Hotel and was early for our room. However, Moussa managed to sort out a room quickly for us, as I wasn't feeling too well on arrival. The book in process is normally at 2:00 pm but we were at the hotel around 11:00 am and were given a room quickly. The room was basic with a TV but only one english speaking TV channel. BBC World News was not available.

Nice and close to the city center!

Hotel was in ok condition. We definitely lucked out on the parking, but I can see others having issues finding a good spot to park. Probably the worst pillows I've ever used, and the bathroom could use an update, or at least a little less mildew, but for the price and location, I've no regrets.

If you are looking for a one night hotel after partying, or simply don't want to spend much money, this is a strong choice. Not the luxury type.

Rather tired

Although the bedroom was OK, the entrance and stairwell were tired and uninviting and it felt a bit seedy.

excellent location

the hotel staff were wonderful!! so helpful about getting around, local sites, and a great Italian restaurant 5 min walk away. Old town Frankfurt is a delightful 15 min walk from the hotel to the large shopping areas and boat trips on the river. Highly recommend this hotel, also, it is just 4 stops on the metro from the Frankfurt airport.

Convenient Location and Good Value

The hotel is located just next to the Musterchule station (U5) which is only 4 stops from the Main Train Station and 3 stops from the European Central Bank and 2 stops from the Dom/Romer station where the Frankfurt Cathedral and other musuems are situated. Staff were very polite and helpful.

VALUE FOR MONEY

The hotel is in great location, with nice and helpful staff. With the price I paid I don't expect much but it turns out to be a great stay.

Very good hotel. The front desk guys we're really nice & helpful - he directed us to a supermarket just down the street. Also, great location, there's a Ubahn stop literally right outside the hotel so it was perfect getting downtown or it would also take you straight to the Hauptbahnhof. Not the best condition, but more than enough for our stay. Would definitely stay here again.

The worst Hotel I stayed I booked by Expedia

Definitily it is not good hotel. Bad localization, it is so dirty. One day when i got up and turned up the faucet didn´t have water, but in five minute it was returned. In on the street the weather great, but inside the hotel hot. In the hotel site display that had iron/ironing board, but there didn´t have it. I took some pictures this hotel, but here don´t have place where i can attach it.

It's not a Marriott

This is a clean basic place to stay. They have a nice breakfast buffet of cold items with tea and coffee. The price is a bargain compared to other similar places we've stayed. The location is right on the U5 tram line, which is convenient, but can also be a bit noisy if your room is on that side of the building. We're urban folks, so those noises don't really bother us, but if you're used to silent sleep, then perhaps you seek a high floor on the other side of the building. Surrounding neighborhood is residential and location is close to the city center and easy to get around.

Close to downtown Frankfurt

they Hotel ist very central located to all major Downtown Historic Sites. Service and Management very helpful and friendly. Parking may be trouble at times. Breakfast Buffet is highly recomenable.

Nice place to stay

Excellent staff at the hotel, nice room and close to nearby shopping & restaurants. If you are a person who enjoys walking, Romer and many other attractions are not that far away. Hotel is listed as a two star hotel but I would consider it more of a three star. It is easily accessed by train from the train station or airport.

Poor business hotel

Noisy hotel, I could hear the manage speaking very loudly. tramline was outside my window any rattled by every 20-30mins. Internet was so crappy I have to try to use downstairs in cafe and at 6 Euros I demanded a refund. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, no matter how desparate. Bit of a rip off even as a low rated hotel.

was the last available room in Frankfurt ... for good reason!

All the usual hotels were full, so had no choice but to book here. Go and sleep on a bench in the Railway Station - you'd be better off. Didn't even dare use the shower - went and used one in the office ... Need I say more.

Great place for a quick trip to Frankfurt

The hotel was easily accessible by the U5 train from the main train station. It was walking distance to several nice restaurants and Frankfurt's downtown area. When we checked in, the staff was extremely helpful, gave us a map, and told us about an apfelwein festival going on downtown. They spoke English and graciously tolerated my far-from-perfect German. The room itself was enormous by European standards. Our only complaints are that the bathroom could have used some updating (and perhaps a good, hard scrub), and there was no air conditioning. The A/C was only a problem because we were on the second floor and right above the light rail stop, so keeping the window open at night was not really an option.

Einzelzimmer klein, aber gute Aufteilung und funktionale Ausstattung! Mobiliar schlicht, aber insb. NICHT abgewohnt oder dergleichen! Empfang/Rezeption ausgesprochen freundlich! Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Für Dienstreisen absolut zu empfehlen.

Simple Übernachtung, günstig und gut.

Perfekt als einfache Übernachtungsmöglichkeit mit sehr guter Anbindung zum Straßennetz. In nur 10 Gehminuten ist man in der Zeil-Einkaufsstraße. Befindet sich in Nordend. Hab 2 Nächte ohne Frühstück gebucht, weil ich nachts feiern war. Perfekt dafür geeignet. Günstig und gut. Duschkopf war angebrochen sonst alles gut. Service war freundlich! Achtung: Kein Parkplatz vorhanden. Weil die Nachbarstraßen alle voll waren musste ich beim Krankenhaus Maingau für 24€ pro Tag parken.

Einfaches Hotel mit dünnen Wänden, wodurch man diverse Aktivitäten der Zimmernachbarn ungewollt mitgehört hat.

War alles so einigermaßen, aber der Platz für ein Doppelzommer (116) war nicht komfortabel, kommen aber wieder....

Hotel hat keine Parkmöglichkeiten !

Die Zimmer sind für diesen Preis Ok. Für eine Nacht kann man es schon buchen, länger würde ich aber nicht bleiben wollen. Das Hotel hat keine Klimaanlage,dass ist bei den momentanen Temperaturen nicht auszuhalten. Fenster lassen sich zwar öffnen, aber durch den Straßenlärm, kann man nicht Schlafen. Außerdem ist es sehr hellhörig, man hör alles aber auch wirklich alles. Die zwei Herren an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich, Top !! Außerdem gibt es keine Parkmöglichkeiten.

Un Soggiorno Piacevole, a pochi passi dal centro

Sono stato in questo albergo per 3 giorni e devo dire che ci hanno accolto molto bene, la stanza è piccola, con una tv un armadio, la stanza era abbastanza pulita l'unica pecca era la moquette che era un pochino sporca ma come da aspettative. Le vere note positive sono l'albergo situato in una zona molto tranquilla con fermata della metro di fronte e andare al centro è semplicissimo anche a piedi, visto che in 8 min sei in centro, inoltre il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.

Das Hotel war sauber, das Personal war freundlich und es ist sehr zentral . Die Einrichtung ist zwar etwas einfach gehalten und nicht die modernste, aber Preis Leistung stimmt.

Hotel Zimmer war sober, 4 Etage, Double Zimmer. Der Nachteil von Hotel keine Parkplätze Möglichkeit aus frei stellen neben bei Mercedes Werkstatt. Fernsehen war na so so keine Programme außer Nachdichtungen Sender

Ich wurde sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Zimmer ist einfach ausgestattet, aber sehr sauber.

Hotel nahe U-Bahn

Das Hotel liegt günstig direkt an der U-Bahn. Das Einzelzimmer war erstaunlich gross. Leider ist es sehr hellhörig. Frühstück war für mich persönlich ausreichend

Unser Zimmer war sehr klein, so dass man die Badezimmertür und die Schranktür nicht gleichzeitig betätigen konnte. Oder es gab einen Zusammenstoß. Die Betten sind groß und die Matratzen sehr ordentlich.Das Fenster ging zur Straße auf der die UBahn fuhr und auch hielt, denn die Haltestelle ist direkt vor dem Fenster. Was natürlich bis in die späte Nacht für einen ordentlichen Geräuschpegel sorgte. Ich hatte um ein ruhiges Zimmer gebeten!? Das Frühstück war ausreichend, aber nicht üppig. Alles in allem für den Preis gerade noch ausreichend.

Perfekt für 1-2 Nächte!

Als wir ankamen, wurden wir von einem netten älteren Herrn am Empfang begrüßt, der uns dann unseren Zimmerschlüssel aushändigte. Das kleine, schlichte Zimmer hatte angenehme Betten, im Bad war eine standardmäßige Ausstattung vorhanden. Der einzige kleine Nachteil war, dass die Heizung im Zimmer aus war, so war es zunächst (der Jahreszeit geschuldet) recht kalt. Wir hatten eine Übernachtung gebucht und ich denke, für 1-2 Übernachtungen ist das Hotel völlig ausreichend.

Leider kam aus dem Brausekopf morgens beim Duschen nur ein bißchen Wasser, zum Duschen hat das nicht wirklich gereicht!

Entgegen der Werbung, gab es keine kostenlose Zeitungen beim Frühstück und kein Bügelbrett/Bügel im Zimmer. Aber sehr freundliches Personal, kleines aber sauberes Zimmer. Das Hotel ist im Moment nicht einfach anfahrbar mit einem Auto wegen Bauarbeiten, Tram hält auch nicht, man muss länger laufen. Frühstück war sehr einfach, aber für den Preis okay.

Visiting the Max Planck Institute

All in all the hotel is nice and the staff really helpful. It is a bit worn down and not super fancy, but clean. The neighbourhood is somewhat sketchy, but only when nighttime. I needed a quite place to sleep while visiting the university, and that I got. Breakfast was OK.

Zweckmäßiges Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal

Wir war dort für eine Nacht und hatten ein kleines Eckzimmer mit allem was versprochen war. Es war sehr hell und hatte drei Fenster. Das Bad ist zwar klein aber zweckmäßig. Die Rezeption war die ganze Nacht besetzt. War kamen um 3 Uhr nachts zurück. Ausserdem liegt es 20 m von der U-Bahnhaltestelle Musterschule entfernt.Alles in allem sehr positiv.
