++ clean rooms with a nice sea view, excellent customer service from both kitchen and cleaning staff. Lovely atmosphere at night with entertainment although I wished to see a bit more traditional Moroccan shows. Breakfast was good. Beach is 10 walking distance. I definitely recommend hotel Argana - - if I have to be picky, only parking was a little small so at night it was harder to park at times other than that all good 🙌
The room was large and saloons downstairs
Checking was meant to be in for 3pm however we didn’t get keys until 05:30pm… only one room ready… the AC in both weren’t working. Staff at reception were slow and did not show willingness to rectify the situation. In a crisis, such as loosing my sister-in-law, the hotel staff were no help and instead were causing my anxiety to increase by not letting us use their phone to locate her. However the cleaner Khadijah was AMAZING, she should be working at reception, she has people’s skills and was very lovely to us our entire stay. Would never stay again at this hotel.
Please be aware city tax is higher than what is stated when you book. Ended up paying £37 instead of the £29 quoted We booked a sea view room but ended up in a suite which was large and spacious. Food can be hit and miss. Mainly chicken meat fish and pastas but they did have something to eat for everyone. Mainly french and moroccan cuisine, no chips for kids except on one day out of 6 that we stayed. The service at the resturant is slow. Setting tables and cleaning up takes forever. Have to ask several times before you get a bottle of water. There is a McDonald's and pizza hut just accross the road and a variety of other resturants that we went to when food wasnt great. There is a nightclub on either side of the hotel but luckily we were on the quieter side of the hotel so wasnt a problem for us. Beach is a 10 min walk which is exclusive for the hotel which was good. Overall a good stay but rooms do need upgrading
Best to stay away - pay more if you can
There was no aircon. The room was un desperate need of a refurb, the ventilation system sent all kinds of dust and particles into the room and caused my son an asthma attack which he had not had for over 10 years, we had to get an ambulance to hospital. In general, low quality, but well meaning friendly staff.
There staff was very rude they took money without my permission from my account
Merci bcp Karima pour le séjours
This is a super friendly hotel staff are very professional and the food is really good . The hotel is super clean . It has its own private beach which is free to use and lots of sunbeds by the pool.Entertainment day and evening . It can be very noisy at night from the surrounding nightclus and hotels and as this is a family hotel there are a lot of kids. Would recommend as a value for money.
Good for family,we enjoyed there
1 star hotel (being VERY generous) AVOID AVOID!!
Food in restaurant, breakfast and snack bar are terrible. Very poor food quality. Even basic items like tomatoes, coffee or cheese sandwiches are inedible. Services are extremely slow. Waiting time if you are lucky on a quite time could be at least 30 min. The establishment as a whole is falling apart. Shower leaking, towels old and discoloured. The Bed is however comfortable. Avoid the spa even if there are deals too good to be true! People come in and out the treatment area to speak with your masseuse while you are trying your hardest to relax.
If you had a poolside view, it was lovely watching people swimming and enjoying their holiday throughout the day, but at night the hotel put on ungodfully loud, obnoxious music/events that sounded like I was in a stadium watching a concert. there was no soundproofing and it was impossible to get to sleep. at times the staff were rude, leaving us with no towels to have a shower, towels would be supplied on request post-1500h The air conditioner barely cooled the room on hot days. the staff would only take cash as payment for the room despite the debit/credit card machine working. the food within the dining hall was at times unseasoned and inetable. I was significantly disappointed with the hotel as a whole, for the amount spent. staff despite being tipped quite well (on our behalf) were accusatory about not returning an ice bucket from the bar stating that they would not give us another one unless we proved that the original was returned. We did explain that the cleaning staff took the original ice bucket and asked them. the coffee shop attached to the hotel next door, whilst had great interpersonal service attempted to miss lead us with payment, a bill that cost 100 DHD, paid with a 200 DHD bill, receiving 50 as a return and then being caused that we didn't give the member of staff a 200 DHD note. I found the holiday experience exhausting and disappointing. there is room for improvement and I certainly wouldn't recommend this hotel to others travelling to Agadir.
Very noisy hotel
Booked sea view rooms but got rooms in a construction site with road view.Talked to the manager about the rooms and noise level from nightclub but not satisfactorily handled. Air conditioning didn't work.
Apart from waiting over 2 hours to go in to our rooms as they wernt ready. It was the repetitive “20 minutes and the room will be ready that brings down the rating for me. Staff are polite and rooms were nice
my children me n my husband was very happy with the cleanliness we were very impressed of the way they clean our room n the entire hotel also the staff’s are amazing and food was wonderful I would love to go back there again 😃
Definitely not a 4 star hotel. Hotel room amenities need to be reviewed. Pictures don’t match the rooms given. The hotel is extremely noisy at night with their entertainment. Just not great
We read mixed reviews before booking, so we were apprehensive for our stay. We’d emailed about airport transfers ,when we arrived there was no one there, had to sort our own taxi at midnight-complained at the desk, the problem was never resolved. they gave us the wrong room, we booked a double with a sea view& balcony, the room we were given was nothing like the photos on booking, it was outdated, had 3 single beds, (not much use for me and my husband) was by the busy road, air con didn’t work and half the lights worked, we went back to reception to complain who said they ‘were having problems with rooms tonight’ and to come back at breakfast for an ‘upgrade’. Also the door didn’t lock upon leaving the room, nothing was done about this. It was 1am at this point so we had an awful night sleep in a hot, noisy room. The next morning we were told we could have a ‘superior room’ -when in fact this is what we actually had booked, had to wait until 2pm for the room. hotel is undergoing construction work-there was hammering/banging/drilling around the pool/in the building all day until 9pm. Breakfast was good, lots of choice , but dinner was just okay. go outside the hotel for authentic Moroccan food. The staff at the pool bar were lovely but the cocktails weren’t made correctly. There is a night club right outside the hotel and depending on where you are in the hotel you can hear this into the night. there was a sign to say work was 11am -5pm, these times were not stuck to.
The staff were great the food was amazing the pool was lovely and it was close to the beach. BUT it was the noisiest place I have stayed in my life! There was lots of building works going on but that will finish soon. The major thing was the very noisy entertainment and pop music until about midnight each night and then on two of the nights the night clubs all around the hotel were at full volume until 3am. Not even noise cancelling headphones could stop the noise! And I had been given a 'quiet' room! The food really was brilliant and there was sunshine flooding in to the balcony the whole day but I could never stay here again simply because of the out of control noise.
Excellent
We were pleasantly surprised by the hotel. We had got such a good deal we were thinking the worst! The service and friendliness of all the staff was amazing. Our chambermaid Hananna was so approachable and helpful, and our room was always immaculate with wonderful towel art too. Both Sazah and Soufraine were such attentive waiters, as were they all. The food was very good often fresh food being cooked as you waited. There was building works going, as others have said, which was a little disruptive but staff tried so hard to minimise the disturbance and mess that it gave off at times. Think they are nearly finished now though. Thank you to the hotel for a wonderful stay
I did not like to hotel. Everything seems be ok on the internet photos but inside of hotel is poor quality and condition Never ever come back again Don’t recommend
Lovely little break
Lovely looking hotel, extremely clean, superb breakfast set up, lunch and evening meals also good value. Spa was lovely and pool with afternoon activity. Plenty of sun beds, nice atmosphere
My second time in Argana, cant fault it. Breakfast is delicious and friendly staff at the breakfast service. Reception staff very friendly and upgraded my room for free, this was a very nice surprise and I instantly felt like a valued guest. The room service time was brilliant, I cant remember the lady’s name, but she always serviced the room to high standards. Will definitely stay again
I didn't like breakfast was the same every day and it's not very good, besides the waiters didn't attend well, some did well but others didn't, a waiter threw the food at me .
Not like the photos
We were exhausted after our flight and despite hotels.com saying check in from 2pm, we didn’t get room till 3.45pm after repeatedly asking. The hotel reception says check in is from 4pm. Noticed families sitting in reception daily awaiting checkin till 4pm. The hotel reception team was not very helpful, offering limited information- not sure if element of language barrier. All lights go off at night in hotel corridors and are on motion sensors which is not very nice when you step out if your room and are faced with darkness. Our room was not like the photos at all. It smelled musty. Toilet was not properly cleaned from last stay. Old wooden panel behind toilet covering a waste pipe which smelled. Room was cleaned but no new toilet roll or towels left. We had to constantly asked for these and often when we tried to call reception there was no answer. Housekeeping knock once and then just walk into room - which is not very nice from privacy point of view. Noise and music from local nightclub Pros - Shop just outside for snacks and water. Snack bar is good for sandwiches and drinks but would not buy evening meal from there. 10-12 minute walk to beach and have private beach on main agadir beach. Taxis outside. Good breakfast - omelettes great but would be nice to have bread slices to toast. Would not stay here again - not really worth the nightly price, 3 star hotel at best.

I can say it’s very good hotel you can reach very easily but it’s Internet very poor they need to improve otherwise is very good hotel
Very loud with the night club. Rooms are quite dated
Total bait and switch on the first room. The balcony was inaccessible. Their idea of an ocean view was to put me up against an alleyway. No problem right? It’s just a simple, misunderstanding. Instead they gave me aTotal bait and switch on the 2nd room rm as well. Instead they gave me a pool view. I paid for the most expensive “superior Seaview“ room. All the staff at the counter became immediately perplexed. Huh, guys. You understand my English and French up until you realized you effed up. Stuck with a pool view at a “superior Seaview” room rates. Not pleased, because even then it wasn’t a pool view. It was the view of a rooftop of a restaurant and a discotheque with karaoke. Since they couldn’t do anything thrice over, I simply called Expedia. Thanks Expedia for the $25 credit. That takes care of the first night. How about the second night? What about the next day? Hotel Argana I will never go back, nor will I ever recommend. Expedia, you have a bit of work to do with the refund
The property is clearly in transition via some strategic renovations. This can be a little disruptive. The staff are unbelievably courteous, attentive and helpful - special mention to Rachida in taking good care of my surroundings for the whole time I was there. The food quality was below par but acceptable. The noise in the evening took some getting used to. The car park attendant was amazing despite very limited number of available spaces. Considering the price and all the positive aspects, this is a little I would return to in the future. I get the sense that it can only get better. Good work everyone.
The staff made me enjoy Experian’s from the Clearner at the 2nd floor to staff at the Resturant Suvi has the best customer service I’ve seen also Mamoud always asking if we need help and always positive and happy having the hotel 5 star customer service thank you
Good
Nice hotel, good facilities. Bedrooms were nice and beds were comfortable. You get what you pay for. However, the noise coming from nearby clubs and hotel are very loud till late at night. Not good if youre a light sleeper. Some things has to be paid for though , like the gym and clothes ironing service (cant borrow an iron).
Good service Argana
The hotel was nice the staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was nice, dinner not always great but ok on most nights. Area was very noisy as there is a club right nextdoor. That was probably the biggest downside to the whole thing. The Beach is not too far away about 5/10 minute walk. Souk Al had is close by so good for shopping. Most of the people we met were friendly in the local shops and the surrounding area. I would stay at the Argana hotel again but the noise is very off-putting for me, not my scene.
5 star staff in a 3 star building
Staff were great but hotel is not at the standard they deserve to be working in. Meal times are like a plague of locusts as the food disappears. You don’t get the room type you booked and tried to put us in a terrible room to start with (so bad they said they would change the next morning before we even seen it). Third room was okay but not what we booked.
A great value hotel
Second visit and thoroughly enjoyed. Slight mix up with rooms but very well sorted by Adil. Breakfast service was friendly by Abdol Room facilities excellent but decor a little tired. Food was mixed mainly good but sometimes poor. 10 mins from beach. Private area with sun bed and umbrellas good Will visit
The Argana is a lovely hotel. Staff very professional and friendly. The hotel is lovely the reception area is nicely designed around a riad. Food was great. Hotel clean and very nice to spend time around. Although not a resort hotel, you could quite happily spend most of your time just in the hotel. seemed well suited to families, nice friendly, fun and safe feel around the hotel. If you’re purely focused on the room then possibly not the best hotel. The room I had was good, but those with high expectations might be slightly disappointed. Negatives the WiFi is dreadful and the gym was ok but is an extra charge.
Great hotel, ideal location close to the beach. Friendly and accommodating staff. Enjoyed our stay
Receptionist doesn’t know what they talking about room in no good all you hear loud music all night i wont be going there again
Although they showcase only the suits, when we checked in they placed us in the basic rooms, which are very poor and bad looking, definitely not 4*: no shower head, dirty, missing bulb, AC not working. After highlighting the issue we were upgraded to a family suit (like the ones in the picture) the following morning and those were very good: clean, newly furnished, equipped with all you need such as a nice bed, working AC and a fridge as well. Standard 4* requirements. Our stay was quite pleasant, The hotel is like a resort equipped with a decent restaurant, pool, shisha place and area full of shops and close to the beach. the only issue encountered was with the shuttle service which arrived 45 minutes, and almost missed our flight. this is not acceptable as it was booked 2 days in advance. Additionally, they were unable to provide alternative transport solutions as time passed and some staff members refusing to book a taxi on our behalf just to save money
Good clean spacious room. Good location . However few issues. V loud music at night from Next door pub, and its vvv loud , if you are the one who goes to bed early or have young kids not a place for you.Breakfast good options and tasty food . but needs better management, long queues , not enough cups or glasses have to wait around for them ALWAYS which i v annoying , queues for omelete or pancakes can take upto 30 minutes which is not ideal.
Great location staff amazing will deffo be staying again
Great Value for money for a family holiday, good location with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The staff are want makes this place amazing. Maryam & Karima in reception are welcoming and provide great service. Ilyas and Souad at the pool/Cafe area will look after you with a smile.
Helpful staff, decent restaurant
Our recent stay at Hotel Argana was truly delightful, thanks to the remarkable friendliness and exceptional helpfulness of the staff who warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond throughout our visit, assisting with local recommendations, transportation, and promptly addressing our queries, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The impeccably clean and cozy room was consistently serviced promptly, showcasing the housekeeping team's dedication. We have also enjoyed the daily breakfast and dinner, the food was delicious and made with care. We wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Argana for an enjoyable stay.
Argana hotel iris easy to catch bus taxis and beach also near like eight minutes walk my room is sea view so I like it shopping area is near to hotel and just opposite McDonald’s and hotel food breakfast is good but don’t like lunch their is no more option and dinner is good we stay five night first nought so good dinner but I disappointed two days otherwise is very good staff was good and cooperative and hotel room clean daily basis onerall stay excellent.
We made reservations through Hotels.com which stated check in at 2pm we arrived at 2:30pm and we were given the key to the room at 5pm and when went to the room the staff were about to enter it to clean it so basically the room wasn’t ready for us, we had to go back downstairs for another 45min, we had to go downstairs one more time to ask for towels and hand soap or even shampoo. The Air Conditioner wasn’t working and we were told that someone is working on it and it should work at night or in the morning (it didn’t work until the third day) and you can’t open the window because it’s super noisy outside, we didn’t even get an apology for that. Keep in mind that if you include dinner with your reservation drinks are not included. Also it’s difficult to find parking on their on site parking lot.
Very bad
Staff were not well trained, drinks were watered down
nice view from the room, the room was nice and clean. Fun activities for the kids in the evening. Good was great.
I didn't like the 12 "significant" (including unsafe) factors within the room, and the 3 "major" shortcomings pertaining to the general operations of the hotel. Not a hotel for individuals without children between the ages of 3 to 21! And, not a hotel for individuals who do not enjoy extremely loud hotel blasted music/noise "every night," nor a hotel suited for seniors and/or handicapped persons.
Nixe stay, but fix the lighting in the courtyard
Comfortable and quiet room (once the entertainment finished), breakfast a bit manic at peak time...probably better to arrive late if you can't make thecearly shift. Good location for access to beach and town, pleasant staff. Quirky decor in the court yard where our room was included murals of tigers etc, but shame it was pitch black at night. The lights have been put on sensors that activate far too late. We thought we'd walked into a derelict building!
Average stay
The room was near the disco next door! Could not sleep properly! Wifi was poor in the room! Staff were very friendly!
Exactly what we needed on family holidays
It was everything that we needed! Fantastic value for money. Went for 10 days full board with 2 kids. Food was great and good selection. Room was perfect and cleaned daily. Kids enjoyed activities: pool, basketball and table tennis. I enjoyed relax time. There is private beach within few minutes walk too. Hotel is in perfect location. Staff are very attentive. Something to note is hammam is not working, WiFi works very occasionally and don’t work in the room, there is a daily charge to use gym and extra charge to use spa and bar service is extremely slow. After first few days I gave up on complaining about this as it made no difference and chose to enjoy my holiday.
Good quality for the price.
For the price I paid which included the buffet breakfast the hotel was very good. The pool is large so I can imagine that at busy times of the year there is space for lots of people. If you want a quieter room don't have one overlookong the pool because there is a nightclub (not the hotel's) behind and they play music until midnight. The other rooms are quiet.
Stuff were excellent and minidises were great All round a great trip
When you enter through the gate you smell cigarette, the room is missing amenities, in the bathroom the water is leaking everywhere, the toilet is not working
Awful hotel cost of hotel has gone up so much . Beds were awful air con didnt work . Filthy . I paid for full board but wasnt able to get a meal for one day. Staff try there best but managers dont really care. Hotel really needs modernisation done as soon as possible
Improvement needed
Hotel was ok but needs a lot of improvements which i suggested to customer relations eg... goodbeds new cuberds safes that actually work there's revenue being created and profits they should improve the hotel so it will attract more customers every day someone had something bad to say about the hotel then i had to look deeper found out it was true on lot of factors overall 6 out off 10 thaks Hussain uk.
No WiFi the rooms need major upgrade the beds are so uncomfortable the tv wasn’t working properly not worth the price. The pictures on the adds doesn’t match the rooms. The only thing was good is the pool and the entertainment at night.
Front office staff no sense of customer satisfaction horrible service, hotel rooms in horrible conditions broken shower handles, main door sides cracked and temporary repairs in place, not possible to eat in restaurant and settle bill on room check out must be immediate payment,No towels in the room even after we were made to wait for 3 hrs waiting for room to be ready after checking formalities completed, spa service shuts down at 6pm ?? Overall a bad experience !!!
I booked a suite with my family and had an 7 months old infant .When I turned up they gave me a tiny room with 3 beds. After complaining they kept me in a small room for first two nights and then moved me to a suite. The first room was really bad water leaking and smell of sewage, i complained to front desk and the lady was making excuses saying Expedia overbooked me and they are fully booked and cannot give me a another room. I spoke to the manager after waiting hours as every time i go over to speak the ladies at front desk make excuse that he is not available. As i was not budging they had no choice but to let me speak to him. I had to wait hours for the maintenance to come and fix hot water or toilet flush kept braking. Or fix the leaking. It was a terrible experience. No water in room and had to buy water from outside and carry it to the room which is other side of the hotel. Only 2 lifts and really poor condition it needs a huge improvement. Cleaning staff are very nice thats the only good thing about the hotel. Loud music coming from nearby hotel and going until 2am, my child was struggling to sleep. Best advice book somewhere else. Even with the bad reviews i still booked this hotel due to suite was available and they still managed to give me a tiny room and blame Expedia for overbooking. And refused to refund my first two nights money. breakfast and dinner and very good. They do not provide any water during meals which is absurd as Not everyone drinks alcohol
Outstanding
Outstanding hotel. Excellent service from Gizlan from reception. Very friendly and helpful.
We group of 20 people stay for 6 nights, hotel was very good, it is bit old hotel but everything is in order and working condition. Hotel was very clean. Breakfast and dinner was delicious, it’s so much to eat. Staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Hotel location is right place, only few minutes walk to beach, and public transport right outside hotel. Definitely I recommend to everyone to visit this hotel. Thank you
Hotel is in perfect location amenities are very good but needs updating
Old fashioned, cheap, clean but terrible wifi
The hotel is ungoing some renovations, so some areas are a little dusty. The hotel definitely attracts families and the pool area is nice, with activities throughout the day. The breakfast is nice and had a goof variety of foods with fresh pancakes and eggs. The hotel looks a little old fashioned and a little worn out however clean and in a very good location. Suppppeeerrr cheap! The staff are helpful and friendly. The WiFi is however is terrible, you will need to get a data sim if staying here.
Do not stay at this hotel
Absolutely awful worse hotel I have ever stayed at it is not 4* the towels that you bath with are so dirty cold shower leaking toilet awful reception staff really terrible reception staff.. no one is helpful couldn't change money into their currency can't say how awful it was ... Food choice terrible Wi-Fil awful water went off in room it said free bottled water and mini bar got no water or mini bar it said on the beach it’s not it 10 minute walk to beach . We expected at least clean towels and running water I would never stay at that hotel again or recommend it I can say how awful it was the only good thing I have to say is the waiting staff in restaurant and pool guy where so nice but could not make up for everything else only stayed put because it was a short stay any longer and we would have changed hotel … terribrl
Short Stay
Decent hotel and in good location, approximately 10 minute walk from the beach. There is parking for cars if you dicide to rent a car there. Breakfast was not that great, some of the hot food was cold. For short stay at this hotel is perfect.
9th to 16th March 2022
Over all the hotel is fine for the price, it needs general refreshing and modernisation. The outside of the hotel could also do with lick of paint. Staff are very friendly and accomedating, housekeeping are great did a great job!!!
Overall good
Great location good friendly staff Clean rooms standard breakfast Good value for money
When iBook hotel 4star when I arrived Agra hote it look like hostel pls never come back to booking again I fell I lost my mone I booked for aweek only I did stay in hotel only one night after move to flat can I apply for money back cause I didn’t get right room an right service with best regards
The picture on your website was lovely but didn’t match at all with Argana hotel everything was old and darty and I would never book with this hotel Iam so disappointed with the service I had I booked me and my friend separately on your website different room and we had halfbord food only the breakfast was ok but the lounch and the dinner absolutely was terrible was only one or tow option and to keep as happy you should give as full refund for this booking thanks for your time
I liked the the service provided by the young two gentlemen at the front desk. I had no idea that you are not to bring female guests to visit. Front door security was extremely rude to a poor innocent local girl and threatened to call the police if she did not leave immediately. He would not even allow her to use the bathroom. with him standing by the door. I don't recommend this hotel to anhyone.
Great value and friendly staff
Staff are great and very friendly. You will get started to them and miss them when your leave. Hotel is overall good. Food may need some improvement, but there is always penalty of quality options. Fresh Masamn, Harsha, or baghreer for breakfast.
The hotel was not clean short of stuff Delay on every level.
There was construction going on outside the hotel but over all the rooms need to be updated towels are old and dirty. Breakfast was ok short Stuff
Hotel under construction
View Your allocated Room/s First Off
Booked In Allocated room no. 29 on lower ground floor. Dark, smelled dank, dirty windows & curtains. Electrical sockets loose on walls. Shower water not contained properly, just flooded out all over room floor. Complained to reception. Arrogant indifference experienced. Finally got a promise of better room in the morning. Got reasonable room at 14:30hrs. that day. Moved my own belongings. Lesson for anyone checking in "Ask & make sure you see your room before you actually check in".
Ok
Centrally located for all amenities.
Good location friendly atmosphere value for money and a very good breakfast 6 minutes walk to the beach
Hotel was nice. Excellent staff. I lost my wallet which had lots of money and bank cards but I got it back intact from the reception. Breakfast is superb and also enjoyed morning swimming gigs that was very much fun with beautiful music tunes !
No internet Cockroach in bedroom Water in shower is cold
Disappointed
Made reservation for deluxe ocean view room, but was told that the room was not available upon arrival. Was given one of the worst room for the 1st night. Very outdated, dirty towels, ended up sleeping on top of the bed with the clothes on. No hot water, unable to take a shower. Wanted to leave and find another hotel, but was too exhausted from a long trip. Was moved to a better room after complaining to management. The 2nd room was definitely better and cleaner. Buffet food was just ok, nothing special.
Avoud avoid at all costs!!!!
Where do i start ? What a terrible hotel and service at reception upon checkin. My wife is 7 months pregnant and we arrived at the hotel at 1.30pm. We were kept being told to wait 30 mins, then again 30 mins and again 30 mins by the receptionist. After arguing and refusing to move at reception we were given a room at 6.30pm!!! 5 hours waiting in reception , what a shambles and disgrace!!!! After we were given our junior suite. The patio door would not lock and the telephone did not work, i complained again and they came and fixed patio door however the telephone remained unfixed until checkout. Worst part of the stay was my car being crashed into in the hotel car parking. (Which had cameras) i kept insisting with the security people on the door to view the cameras however they kept telling me nothing is there or they found nothing which clearly they didnt even bother to look or search. I am appealing to all people to avoid this hotel at all costs. The rooms are dirty and hugely different from the photos provided. The pool area is dirty, everything about this hotel is wrong and it seems they just want to fill rooms and not care about guests or quality control or anything. Oh and the seagulls , dont get me started on the seagulls at breakfast time if you eat outside.
George
My experience at the hotel was warm welcome. Everyone from the security guard, front desk redemption, client customer service relationship, pastry chef, General manager. I felt everyone in the hotel did their best with busy traffic of customers to give me undivided attention. My hotel room was spacious, decorative, plenty of additional room to place your belongings in the closet. The hotel is a great place to relax. The hotel has a big pool, special Moroccan artwork On the walls as you walk around to receive fresh air. It’s very calming, peaceful hotel. The hotel breakfast is great. Fatima took the time to engage with me asked me if I needed anything. Fatima went out of her way to get boil eggs for me. I’d like thank you Mariam for taking the time to ask me how my experience is at hotel daily. Mariam is very compassionate , great listener. I’d say it’s rare for hotel to have someone like Mariam to always take a little of their time for feedback on customer experience. Thank you Mariam. Anza the GM of the hotel is amazing. He was constant busy dealing with the hotel. Anza took the time to recognize me give me special attention regarding my emails sent to the hotels to print the pdf’s. Anza has great interpersonal skills. Karima front desk always greeted me on a daily basis with a welcoming “hello” and how are you interaction. My overall experience was great.
I had an amazing stay in Argana, I liked the view the most, right to the sea ! The room was clean and u was lucky to have lala Om l3id samir to tidy up the room with lot of love and kindness 💖 the stuff were nice namely Mr Omar who accompanied le to my room
Old hotel need updating
Check-in takes too long and then even though i had book two room one foe me and other for my wife they were still apart on different floor. The light were not working which i complaint and they fixed after two days, The breakfast was good but they need to change the fruit juice its watery.
3 hours wait at the check-in
I arrived at 15:40, the check-in was the worst as I had to wait till 19:00 to finally go to my room... Yassine at the front desk is as slow as a sloth. Breakfast was awful, cold croissant, disgusting eggs and the dishes were dirty... The only positive thing about the hotel was the baggage handler (Omar), the security person (Yehya) and also housekeeping lady.
Rude staff
First we checked in which took 3 hours we had to pay extra fees for room breakfast on top of city tax then we book double room with queen bed and beach view they give me room which was not even clean had three twins bed and room doesn’t even look like anything like website u have to pay tip for even thing u paid changed our room 4 times management is sooo bad just waste of money book other hotel instead of this rude staff our flights were cancelled and instead of any help they were laughing at us calling is mr corona
Special Hotel
Fabulous suite, waiters very friendly only criticism was the slowness of the checking in proceedure
My overall experience was good even though started off as slightly negative when we got told by staff to wait 30mins for our room as it wasn’t ready however after that one incident I was really pleased with my holiday. The location of the hotel is good it’s near by the Marina and the beach lots of cafe and restaurants to explore. Rooms aren’t that great as the deco looks old however we didn’t mind as we didn’t spend much in our rooms . I would like to thank specially the lifeguard (Hamid) who’s full of joy and always happy to help others and willing to learn English by asking questions. I would also like to thank the two young ladies ( Suad and Nahila) at the reception who always fulfilled my assistance and were happy to help me especially when I couldn’t get a charger. Lastly but not the least (Omar) was also very helpful as he assisted with our luggage and was such a humble guy. I will defo be returning back to Argana soon.
Resipstion not good i arrived 1:00 pm to hotel they gave me roome to 8:00 pm i was very tied
Average
Not a 4 star lol Very disappointed
Acceptable
The buffet meals in the restaurant were quality, varied and appropriate. We rarely done where we stay, but the breakfast impressed and returned 4 nights out of 6 for the dinner. The room was fine, some noise at night from inconsiderate drunks on the street, but it was a few times only. The disappointment was with a lackluster welcome when we checked in. We were left to find out room on our own, offered no explanation as to them having a fitness room, that was a nice surprise, but there were no issues. It won't wow anyone, but it was fine over all.
Improve the heating and hot water services.
This Christmas break has been good but the hot water and heating services in the hotel have been rather disappointing. Attention needs to be paid to maintaining the equipment in the gym. They are mostly broken or not functional. The staff were friendly enough which was good. The place on the beach was very welcome. Food was good.
The hotel is in a good location and the staff are nice. The heater was not working in the rooms and even the portable one was very slow, the internet is weak and is unstable in the rooms, if you need to do a call or web search you have to stay in the lobby next to the reception. The hotel management is so weak it took 3 days to find the manager and get his opinion on the matter. I booked for 9 days but I left on the 5th day.
The worst hotel you can stay at in Agadir. Rooms are all old and outdated. Very dusty dirt rooms with no electricity and many problems. Don’t stay here !!
Its......ok. worth a short unfussy visit.
Hotel was very tired. Wooden and stale , like many reviews, needs a good refurb of the rooms, especially the bathrooms, carpets and paint. The sunset bar is very good, with sport and good priced drinks. Staff are friendly too.
Very nice hotel , friendly people I wanna go back again
Enjoyable stay. 😎
Staff are always friendly and helpful. i know Argana hotel for many years and always enjoy my stay there.
Building work
The hotel had building work going and was not informed by staff . It was next to our room . Drilling . After a day of complaining got moved the next to the other side of hotel .
i Had very good service As well as from the staff And I have given a very nice room I enjoyed with my wife And my brother in low who had the food every day from the hotel argana We enjoyed very much And the lady marieam was very helpful to my wife My wife she is pregnant And sh have been well looks after By the hotel staff I will rate the hotel 5 stars
Generally the hotel was reasonably good. Hotel is under going some construction works so there is some noise at times but nothing to disruptive. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was reasonable. Interior slightly out dated but still comfortable and accommodating. Gteat selection of food and good value for money. Shops and beach is within walking distance. Tours help desk at hotel, very helpful and informative. Place felt very safe. Would definitely recommend to others. Brilliant stay and Agadir is a temarkable place to visit. A very happy customer 😀
